Kyrsten is truly one of a kind. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, she went above and beyond in every way. She was always early, spent extra time with us, and for our engagement shoot, she didn’t just show up—she created a full-on date experience, shooting across multiple locations. That day is still one of our favorites.
We’re not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but Kyrsten has a calm, warm presence that puts you at ease instantly. She made us feel like ourselves—laughing, relaxed, and completely in the moment. At the same time, she has this incredible ability to command a crowd and keep things moving smoothly. You can tell she knows exactly what she’s doing.
Her photos are stunning, but the way she goes about her work is just as beautiful. So much heart, so much intention. We’ve already talked about hiring her for future milestones—yes, even if she’s in Dallas and we’re in Austin! 100000% recommend hiring Kyrsten. She’s not just a photographer; she’s an artist, a professional, and a joy to be around.

Kyrsten & her team are truly some of the best people I’ve met during my wedding planning experience. They were referred to us from a friend, and when we met via FaceTime, we instantly connected. Kyrsten is understanding, professional, fun, flexible, and committed to the vision. From our engagement session on, we knew they were absolutely the right fit for us. They traveled from Texas to Florida, and I never once had a doubt that they would show up prepared! The entire wedding weekend from welcome party, rehearsal dinner and wedding day into after party. They were in the mix the whole time capturing all the little moments, I will have to always look back on. Specifically, I had a bridesmaid who has a wheelchair user, and she even reached out to me personally to comment on how accommodating kind and attentive Kyrsten and her team were and making her feel that she blended right in to the rest of the group photos, despite using a wheelchair. Kyrsten and her team know how to make it fun and seamless! You don’t feel like the photos take up the majority of your wedding day. You’re really able to focus on your friends, family and partner, but know that they are there capturing all the little moments. They offer video as well & we are so glad that we added that in our package! Thank you guys so much!!

I am not sure where to begin with how amazing Kyrsten is, I will do my best! To start, when we first got on a phone call she was so professional and truly understood the vision we wanted with our wedding photos. She stayed in touch with us until the big day ensuring we felt taken care of. Especially as we were planning a destination wedding in Mexico, it was hectic at times and i’m so grateful to have had her and her team there with us!
Now for our wedding day + photos… OMG!! The photos are absolutely stunning, they truly captured how we felt in every moment and all the detail! But more importantly, Kyrsten was everything I needed on my wedding day, she helped me stay focus, calm and on time. She was my go to person when I had to make some risky decisions relating to the weather and I truly felt like I could count on her with everything. She had back up spots because of the rain, and made us feel so seen and supported, it was so easy to trust her with everything!! Her energy kept us calm and excited, always reminding us about what the day truly was about + she knows how to run the show and get every perfect photo despite having a wild, big crazy crew!
If you are considering hiring Kyrsten and her team, I hope this review is your final confirmation to DO IT! You will be in the best hands possible and be so happy with the photos! -

Trust me when I say she is the best of the best! I am a VERY detail oriented person. When I was planning my wedding, I gave (probably too much) attention to every detail and researched everything thoroughly. Selecting vendors was no exception. I looked through dozens upon dozens of photographers and chose Kyrsten for many reasons and I would choose her over and over again! I was drawn to her photography style, her authenticity, and when I was reading through some of her blogs, it was completely apparent that she loves what she does and has spent so much time perfecting her talents. This came through every interaction from our engagement photos to wedding day. When we first met her for our engagement photos, she instantly made us feel comfortable. She gives awesome directions and poses, has great creative vision, and is so professional and organized yet has the ability to make you feel like a friend instantly. She is on top of everything! We had an issue with our timeline and she was honest, talked us through, gave us options and helped come up with a solution. Come wedding day, she was on time, stayed until our grand exit, and took care of us all day. Beyond capturing the biggest day of our lives, she would check in on me and make sure I was doing okay. I never felt like we were ‘just another wedding’ to her (maybe that’s weird to say but sometimes, unfortunately, you do get some vendors like that… Let’s be honest. Everyone wants their special day to feel like it’s special to everyone else too). Even our guests were impressed with her and that she stayed until the end! We got our sneak previews in and they are so stunning. She captured the beauty of so many moments so perfectly. I am just dying to see the rest!! I will trust Kyrsten again in the future for all my photography needs! -

I could go on about her but I'll try to be brief - Kyrsten was absolutely incredible at making me and my now-husband feel comfortable in our own skin. We talked on the phone when I first reached out and immediately hit it off, which was easy because she is sassy and says it like it is which I absolutely love. She took our engagement photos on the hottest day of the summer and we had a blast even with sweat dripping down our backs. She had us laughing the whole time and we even wound up in a fountain! I did bridal portraits with her a month before my wedding and it gave me so much peace of mind to know what to expect for the wedding day and to see how everything photographed. At our wedding, Kyrsten made quick work of getting through our large families while keeping the peace amid the chaos. We are obsessed with our engagement photos and my bridal portraits and are anxiously awaiting our wedding photos! I can not recommend Kyrsten enough - but make sure you book her early, she books up fast! Her personality is infectious and her tips and tricks for creating natural smiles and laughter are the funniest! -

I’ve had a year and half from when we booked Kyrsten as our wedding photographer to our wedding date to think of how to put into words everything krysten has become for us. However I feel anything I write won’t do justice to what an amazing photographer and human kyrsten is. Let’s start at the beginning with our engagement photos. This is when we knew we had made the best decision ever choosing kyrsten as our wedding photographer. My fiancé sprained his ankle and he was on crutches for our adventurous Joshua tree shoot. Kyrsten trekked in and out of the hall of horrors with us carrying my fiancé’s rope, crutches, and helping him up and down in 100+ degree weather and she did it with a smile. Her bubbly personality helped calm our photography fears and it felt like we were spending the day with an old friend. My fiancé couldn’t stand on his left foot but kyrsten was creative with her posting and we still got the most epic photos. You would have never known he was injured. We were completely wowed. Then came the last six months of the planning process where I was stressed about every little detail. Kyrsten always responded quickly to my questions and concerns with sound advise. I probably got annoying at some points asking all the details that I did but she never made me feel that way. She made me feel heard and cared for especially when other vendors dropped the ball. Kyrsten kept us on our timeline and still managed to get all the amazing wedding photos we wanted (and some extras). Communication with kyrsten was effortless and she truly became a friend. We could not wait to share our wedding day with krysten. Kyrsten is equal parts professional and kind hearted in a way that makes you feel like you are hanging out with your best friend. She is an expert in posing, lighting, and getting the best shots. She was hands down our favorite vendor and let me tell you we had some pretty amazing vendors. -

I cannot say enough good things about Kyrsten, She.is.amazing. The biggest thing when searching for a photographer that we were looking for was someone who had personality and boy does she have it! Besides the fact that she is an extremely talented photographer (her photos speak for themselves), she made my husband and I feel so comfortable and felt more like a friend rather than just another vendor. We are so glad we trusted her to capture our wedding day! -

From the first time we met Kyrsten, she put us at ease! We had a long but amazing photo shoot at Hamilton pool and shared so many laughs! She kept my (now) hubby engaged the entire time... you ladies know how photoshoots can go with your men- But he actually had so much fun!
After leaving our first shoot with her, it felt as though we had been lifelong friends.
Kyrsten was someone I knew I could trust and bounce ideas off of throughout the wedding planning process! She’s so entirely hands on from the day you meet her to the day you say your vows which was freaking awesome! She truly gets to know her couples which I believe is why she is able to bring our vision/ stories to life so seamlessly. You are not just another couple or number to her, you become a lifelong friend.
For my boudoir shoot, she made me feel so comfortable and like a total queen!! We had a blast with this secret project!!
We changed our wedding location from Texas to Mexico a few months into planning and I knew it would be a lot to ask our vendors to travel with us on a whim. I called her and she was so on board and about it!! It literally was a huge relief and got me so pumped up for our day!! I knew I wanted her there no matter where we got married.
For our wedding day, she kept everyone in line and was so attentive to making sure we were getting the photos we wanted but also having a great time! She knew what photos/moments were a must for us and made sure to capture them flawlessly! She also played a big part in making sure our timeline stayed on track! She knows this industry inside out and is always there to answer any questions you have with honesty and care.
Every step of the way, she was not just a photographer, but a friend and hype woman!
Kyrsten is such an talented creative and comes up with great ideas to bring moments to life beautifully!
I’m obsessed with the results of her work! She IS the queen of capturing moments. She makes it fun and far from generic.
Beyond being an amazing photographer, she is a wonderful human being and we are forever grateful for her. -

Kyrsten is the best! She is the most creative and intentional photographer and constantly blew me away with her ability to direct a crowd, pose so creatively and beautifully to flatter anyone, and her professionalism while making her clients feel known and cared for. She’s a no brainer as your wedding photographer and a marketing genius when it comes to Pinterest and how to find clients. She’s just the best human and anyone who gets to work with her is so lucky! -

Best Photographer to cater to what you want!
Kyrsten was nothing short of incredible four our wedding! She was from the start very invested in getting to know us as a couple so that she could cater to the type of photos we would like.
The process from beginning to end was 100% focus on what we liked, she was incredibly flexible with us moving things or switching things up, and she was even thrown a last minute curveball and knocked it out of the park!
I can NOT say enough amazing things about the work she did! I would very seriously recommend her to ANYONE and EVERYONE (no matter your location) -

Hiring Kyrsten as our wedding photographer was the best decision I made! She not only creates beautiful memories for us to keep for a lifetime but she was my go-to person whenever I needed something during the entire wedding planning process. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera and handled wedding day hiccups with so much poise. My husband and I got married 4 months ago, and I am still obsessing over our photos. Kyrsten did our engagement photos AND our wedding photos, and I could not be happier that we picked her (and she picked us). She is not only a true, knowledgeable professional, but she is also a calming presence on a day that can/will otherwise be incredibly hectic. She works hard to get the perfect shot and makes the whole experience fun and romantic. I never once doubted her. If she said “stand there”, “look there”, “hold this pose”, I did it without hesitating, and I’m so glad I did because the outcome blew my mind. Leading up to a wedding, every bride has a maddening amount of decisions to make, and I can’t explain the relief I felt when I could just show up to take photos and truly trust how everything would turn out. Kyrsten is a fabulous photographer and a genuinely sweet friend. She’s bold, creative, considerate, efficient, fair, and professional. I would recommend her services to anyone for any occasion, especially a wedding or engagement. -

After having a not-so-great experience with another photographer, I searched for someone to redo our engagement shoot. I saw Kyrsten’s work and immediately knew it was what I was looking for. She was AMAZING from the get go. Made it so fun and we felt so natural and comfortable in front of the camera. She also did our wedding day (1/11/2020) and from the previews we got..OMG. I cannot day enough good things, she’s the coolest, and that vision...just trust her and you will get pictures to cherish for a lifetime -

Kyrsten is such an amazing spirit. She has a beautiful eye for photography, knows how to make her clients completely comfortable, and goes above and beyond in so many ways. Honestly there aren’t enough words to describe how awesome she is. I felt so awkward about having my pictures taken, but she made me and my husband feel comfortably instantly. She also produced the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen of myself. If you want to feel truly beautiful in your pictures and have the love captured so beautifully then definitely hire Kyrsten. She was one of the highlights of my wedding day and hands down my favourite vendor. She did so many extra things, went completely above and beyond on so so so so many instances and I’m forever grateful for her. She truly feels like a friend. I can not wait to share these beautiful photos with everyone for many years to come. These are pictures I’ll be proud to show my future children. Seriously if you haven’t hired her yet you need to go and do that right now. Best photographer ever. Kyrsten was able to take two awkward people who hate taking pictures and make us laugh and smile the entire time! We felt at home during the session, with natural smiles coming very easily.
