    Delicious cakes that are gluten free and optional dairy free!

    Did an amazing job on our wedding cakes. We did a tasting and chose our 2 favorites. Our vendors including the caterers who have been to hundreds of weddings said our wedding cake was the best he ever tasted! So amazing to find cake that is gluten free, can be made dairy free too and tastes so delicious! We were so sad when their Portland location closed but we make the drive out to Lake Oswego at least once a month for cupcakes because they are that good!

    Highly reommended - even if you don't need gluten free cake or cupcakes!

    Because the bride and several guests needed gluten free, dairy free foods, Kyr's was the perfect choice. But everything was so outstanding that many guests couldn't believe that our cake and cupcakes were gluten free! They were delicious, beautiful, and healthy! HIGHLY recommended!!

    As a gluten free bride I stressed about finding a delicious cake that my guests wouldn't turn their noses up at. Kyra's is it!! You would never know her cakes and cupcakes are gluten free. It was so moist, delicious and tasty! Hands down the best choice for any gluten free bride!!

    Kyra's is amazing and the cake was picture perfect. It tasted so good and got rave reviews from the guests. Kyra's worked with us until it looked just right and we are so thankful.

    Amazing wedding cake! My wife is Gluten Free (Celiac Disease) so finding a cake that we could eat and have it be delicious was really important. We struck gold with Kyra's Bakery! They made an amazing gluten free cake for us and modified various flavors and elements to match our preferences. Couldn't be happier and further proof that the cake was amazing - Our guests ate every last bit! Nothing left over sadly, but we'll be coming by to get an anniversary cake. Highly recommend this bakery, especially for Gluten Free options.

    Bonus: They also deliver which was a huge help!

    We decided we wanted a variety of mini-desserts for our wedding reception. We have quite a few friends and family who are gluten-free so it was important that we have plenty of options for everyone to enjoy. A friend of mine recommended Kyra's after having trying it at a wedding last year.

    Kyra's was a breeze to work with. I called and discussed flavor options with them, then when the husband and I made our decision I called back and placed the order. While their customer service was great, the product was even better. There are some people who want to poo-poo the idea of gluten-free, but no one could tell the difference! They tasted delicious, and everyone loved them. Thankfully I had leftovers to eat the next morning! And their adorable little bite-size made them perfect for snacking; one or two bites, but not an overwhelming amount of dessert to eat!

    Very glad we decided to use Kyra's for our mini-dessert bar. It was the perfect addition to our reception menu!

    I am gluten free and wanted to make sure I could do the tradional cake cutting with my husband. We had one large cake that was not gluten free for the guests made elsewhere. When I went to Kyra's 2 days before my wedding they matched my little gluten free cake to the exact same decor on my other cake. They also had it ready ASAP. It tasted delicious and looked beautiful!

    best cake ever hands down. gluten free or not!!! the cake was absolutely delicious and beautifully decorated with green water color ombre and fresh flowers.

    You cannot beat Kyra's cupcakes. Our Maid of Honor is Caeliac, and we were so happy we did not have to choose between yummy cupcakes or gluten free ones. We didn't tell anybody they were gluten free, and people happily stuffed their faces with the adorable mini-cupcakes. I picked the nutmeg/coffee frosting, my bride picked passion fruit frosting, and we also did a raspberry frosting. The colors matched our wedding colors and the flavors are divine. If I could buy a pool full of that passion fruit frosting, I'd dive right in.

    We are not gluten free but had to have Kyra's Bake Shop make our wedding cake. I was gifted a lovely cupcake once and thought it was the best piece of dessert that I have ever had. It was a gorgeous cake and everyone enjoyed it very much! Thank you!

    My husband and many family members are gluten/dairy free so I wanted to have gluten free options and Kyra's was perfect for our wedding! Everything was delicious and you couldn't even tell it was gluten/dairy free. I loved how there were many flavors to choose from. We went with mini cupcakes and a small cake for cutting and it worked out perfectly for us.

    I am gluten and dairy free, so the cupcakes from Kyra's were a perfect fit. I didn't need anything over the top fancy so my husband and I just went with two cupcakes for our "cake cutting" and got large sheet cakes for everyone else. I enjoyed their flavors and their nice designs.

    We had a spread of bite-size treats instead of a cake: mini pumpkin tartlets, apple crumble bars, and ginger molasses cookies. After tasting a wide-variety of items at Kyra's I can say with confidence that every single thing they make is amazing. It's a good thing they aren't close by, otherwise I'd be in trouble. ;)

    My only complaint is that the staffer who was responding to my initial inquiry was really slow about responses at first and seemed a bit absent-minded. I contacted them very far in advance so I wasn't worried, but if you are on a tight turnaround or just want to have some peace of mind about the answers you are getting, I would recommend calling them.

    Formally known as Crave Bake Shop, their cupcakes and fruit tart were AWESOME! We had many gluten- and dairy-free peeps as guests at our wedding, so their completely gluten-free kitchen was awesome for providing dessert that ALL of our guests could enjoy. Highly recommend them!

    The cake was beautiful and tasted delicious, but very expensive for size of cake and charged extra just to add add small details. Chose to pickup, because delivery too expensive on top of cake price.

    The most stressful part of my wedding.

    I really, really wanted to like Kyras Bake Shop! It was seeing all of these great experiences on yelp/weddingwire that made us choose them in the first place.
    I seriously would not recommend going with them for your big day.
    For our cake tasting, I was SO excited I could barely contain myself on the way over! That excitement was slowly chipped away by the person who was very, very rude to us. Neither of us have ever been married or had a custom cake made and were looking forward to getting guided through the process. Instead, we were rushed and my husband was given a cupcake with soy which he is allergic to (I had already communicated we wanted a soy free cake). I understand that miscommunications happen but this person's response was to blame us and not apologize or offer us any alternatives for the tasting. We just assumed this person was having a bad day and opted not to complain at this time.

    Since we were rushed, i began rethinking my cake design and emailed these changes to them, which was confirmed that they could do. I put the original cake design out of my mind because it clashed and was ugly. I will say that although it didn't work out, they were really nice about the changes when we spoke about them.

    Flash forward, i get a confirmation phone call from Kyras the week before the wedding and after finally getting ahold of them (i called 3 times, 3 days in a row with no answer) just a few days before the wedding. We talk about the cake and they tell me I could change the color (which i say yes to because the first person told us it had to be a pink cake with the flavors we wanted), we talk about the gold foil design and we hang up. I dont believe we went over the rest of the cake because i would have let them know it was wrong if we did!

    On my wedding day, my friend brought the cake to the venue and i realized i had received the original cake design with a change of color and the correct gold fill but sadly, none of the other changes. It was a huge blow on my wedding day and I had to redesign the flowers for the cake on the fly. One of my family members even commented on how busy it looked... It was a little embarrassing because i had been bragging about how beautiful our cake was going to be!

    After my honeymoon, I contacted Kyras and told them everything. They told me that the person who we had originally talked to had been fired, and that they were sorry for the cake mistake but basically it was my fault. Ouch!! I tried really hard not to be rude but still, they ended up ghosting me and I haven't heard back from them in weeks.



    I had the confirmed changes in writing via email... Hands down the most stressful part of my wedding day and planning process was dealing with this shop.

    In fairness, I do have to say the good parts of our experience. The ugly cake was pretty yummy and the people who were working the counter on the day of the tasting were really nice! Also, had it been what I had ordered for my once in a lifetime cake, i'm sure it would have been beautifully executed but sadly, this was not the case.


    I so wish that we would have had as good of an experience as some of the other reviews but sadly, we felt cheated, disrespected and stressed out after deciding to go with Kyra's Bake Shop.
