Made our vision come to life!
We worked with Kundan Events and the team was so easy to work with and coordinate for our wedding day. The dohl drummer at our reception was perfect and the DJ for our after party kept the party going! We loved working with Angad and the team - highly recommend! -

The. Best. Entertainment. Company!
The best experience for our wedding! Literally everyone talked about how amazing Sher was as a DJ. To start, their communication in absolutely amazing. They constantly checked up on us waaay before the wedding. Closer to the wedding, we submitted our requests for the songs, and Sher did such an amazing job guiding us and giving helpful advice and making our dream become a reality. Sher did an amazing job during the wedding and we had so much fun because of it! I would recommend Royal AV to anyone and everyone for both the lighting and the DJ, AND MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR SHER!! 10000000/10! -

Angad was amazing!
We had our wedding at Poplar Springs Manor and we hired Angad for our event. Working with Angad was an absolute joy - his music and uplighting were a huge success at our wedding. Angad’s communication was excellent, and we felt comfortable placing our full trust in his hands when it came to crafting our playlist. His edits and suggestions for entrance and first dance songs were spot-on; we never had to ask him to make any changes. Angad really took the time to get to know us, which showed in his thoughtful musical choices. We highly recommend Angad and his infectious energy, which kept everyone on the dance floor all night! -

Angad and Abhi were instrumental in making our wedding amazing and we could not be more grateful!
They were attentive when I wanted to schedule meetings and Abhi was hands down the best day of coordinator I could have asked for. Her and Roshni truly went above and beyond and our families absolutely adored her. The DJs had everyone on the dance floor both nights and they surprised me with a dhol player at our after party that was. HUGE hit. Angad also worked so hard with my sister to get the karaoke machine to work at the after party which I really really appreciated. I highly recommend them! -

Best DJ. Very responsive, professional, and amazing playlist
It was awesome working with Kundan events for our wedding in April. We received so many comments from our guests that the playlist “made the event.” Angad made great suggestions and talked us through each step. Dream come true!
We worked with Asif for our engagement party back in 2019 for his DJ services and loved his work which got us introduced to Kundan Events. Working with Kundan Events was absolutely wonderful. Ours was a COVID wedding which got postponed multiple times but Angad, Asif, Rajan and their team stuck with us through out the journey and they were a delight to work with. They worked very hard in the background to make sure all of our little details were perfectly executed and appearing to make certain we were having a good time and ready for all of the special moments. They brought such a positive and warm energy to our wedding weekend, we truly can’t thank them enough for such a great service! Special shoutout to Rajan for being by my side throughout and keeping me calm and reminding me to enjoy every second of our special day. Amazing DJ's - Best in the DMV!
We could not have been happier hiring Kundan Events as our Sangeet and Wedding/Reception Dj's! They have stuck with us through over two years of planning due to the pandemic, and have remained professional, responsive and flexible. Their talent speaks for itself, and so do their amazing personalities. Even a month after the events, we are still receiving compliments about the DJs from our guests. Best DJ we’ve ever had!
Angad and his team truly brought his 1000% to our wedding and we could not be more grateful! Throughout the weekend we had so many guests coming up to us and reiterating that our DJ set the tone for an amazing night of dancing and fun! Because of Covid, we had a two year long engagement and despite all of the changes, Angad handled everything perfectly. He was constantly plugged in and responsive as we planned our large multi-day multi-cultural wedding. He made sure that we had exactly what we needed and that we felt confident in his abilities throughout. During the events his calm demeanor and confidence truly set the tone. He knew exactly what the crowd needed and absolutely delivered. Everyone was raving about our DJ at the end of the night! -

Excellent services and best experience
We contacted Angad for our son’s wedding. He was very professional and quoted very reasonable price for required services. Event was postponed from April to September but it was no issue for Kundan events. They are pleasure to work. Dhol player Sher really perform miracle and made whole barat dance. -

Dj angad is amazing!
We absolutely loved DJ Angad's services. So many people came up to us afterwards and told us specifically that the DJ was so hype and got the crowd involved. Not only did he have a great song selection, but he really knew how to get the crowd going. Many of my friends said it was the the best wedding they’ve ever attended. We really appreciate everything he did with the pre-planning, song mixing, and crowd engagement. It was BEYOND worth the money. -

They were very helpful from the start. Sanjeev was quite flexible and up front about everything, was gracious enough to accommodate a multitude of requests we had and worked with us at every stage of the planning. Wedding Coordinator
With Kundan Events we got more than professional help for wedding planning for all of our events- we also got expert advice on how to deal with other vendors, detailed timeline of our events, and help and guidance with all the large and small aspects of wedding planning. Angad and Gurjeet are patient, creative, and extremely organized. They know the ins and outs of a hindu wedding and are the perfect people to have on your side during emergencies (for us, it was a 30+ minute power outage in the middle of our reception). They have tasteful and creative ideas that made our wedding unique. We recommend them very highly.

Manjot & Harman
Angad and Gurjeet are both just simply amazing. They made every single one of our wedding events go as smoothly as they could have. They took care of all vendor interactions, that my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything on the days of our events. Food, venue decorations, timings are all usually accounted for; however, Gurjeet even made sure our makeup artists arrived on time. Angad was an angel on our reception night. I can't stress enough how helpful he was. Things sometimes go slightly south, but he literally took the pressure off us and took care of everything! We couldn't have gotten better wedding coordinators anywhere else. we are beyond grateful for their excellent services!
Oh, and KundanEvents provided us with BEAUTIFUL dance floor and stage wraps!!! -

Wow. Just Wow. I had such an amazing experience with this company. They were so professional, and made my experience and interaction with outside vendors seamless. Angad was there where ever we needed him and always had suggestions when we didn't know which direction to go in. Kundan Events has its very own team of people which is a plus because they were able to "divide and conquer" the work that had to be done. Kundan Events is led by Angad, and his team seems up-to-date on every aspect. I saw them work just as efficiently as Angad. The vendors that were suggested by Angad were on-point to say the least. One great thing is that they have their very own team of DJs so sound, lighting, and all is already taken care of through them. It's like killing two birds with one stone. I would definitely recommend Kundan Events to everyone that is considering to have a wedding in the near future. It's without a doubt worth it. -

We want to give a shout out to your team for their role in our events! Honestly, Kundan Events turned out to be, hands down, one of our favorite wedding vendors! We used them for all our wedding events (Mehndi, Baraat and Reception) as well as the after-party and they surpassed our expectations in every way. From providing excellent recommendation that fit our style (e.g. suggesting a mobile baraat to providing lighting and DJ services for our after party) to meeting us one-on-one several times to develop the timelines and MC scripts, they made us feel at ease throughout and most importantly, made sure our events were FUN!
Again, thank you all for being so easy to work with and making our big day so special. Thanks to you all, both of us and our family/friends were able to truly soak in and enjoy every moment! -

Kundan events provided us lighting, music and DJ services for three events (Sangeet, Barat and reception). They delivered what they had promised. Every guest praised their music. Here is what we really appreciated:
1. Excellent communication. They are available and very responsive over email, phone or text.
2. Flexibility- Very accommodating to our needs. Easy to make last minute changes.
3. Organized- All events started on time. They were ready and executed the events to our specific timeline.
4. Demeanor- very personable. Positive and reassuring.
5. Quality- Seemed very important. They will provide extra services (outside the contract) if needed to make it perfect.
6. Music- The reception night was full of energy because of the music, dholi and MC services.
Recommend them without any reservations. We will definitely be using them for our future events.

Better than great!
Kundan Events did not disappoint! Angad and Sher provided music and entertainment for our wedding reception and they were awesome. We had provided them a few different genres of music that we wanted played and that was all they needed. Once the dance floor opened it stayed packed the entire night! All of our guests had a great time. Sher was the dholi that night and stole the show. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Kundan Events. We decided we need to have another party just so we have an excuse to hire them again. -

Good vendor BUT...
Kundan events provided music (dj) for our baraat, wedding coordination, and spark machines for our wedding.
Baraat music - the Dj service for the baraat didn’t work out well. The equipment overheated in the back of the pickup truck it was in and provided intermittent music. This was awkward, but the owner who was in the truck worked diligently to try to fix it. He was able to get his equipment going and we finished the baraat with some dancing. The owner provided additional usage of the spark machines provided to help make up for this.
Wedding coordination from Kundan was bittersweet. The main planner Gurjeet was professional, and did reach out to us frequent enough to assist with planning for things we hadn’t thought of as a couple. He also was present for our walk throughs with the venue and he lead the rehearsal walk through well. Gurjeet seemed like an up and coming planner as of the time of our wedding. He offered some value add and tried to assist with issues above and beyond the contract commitment. He really filled any gaps in his experience with kindness and an overall jovial attitude. We do wish he had gotten to our venue earlier on the day of our wedding when other vendors were seeking his input. We did have a second planner for our wedding day from Kundan and this planner wasn’t good at all. She wasn’t aware of what was going on, she was giving false directions to wedding party, and was even rude at times. Kundan refunded us for this planner, and we’d recommend you steer clear of that young female planner.
Overall Kundan’s prices were really competitive, even despite the hiccups with the baraat and planning the owner of the business took resolving the issues seriously and was always respectful with us. The spark machines worked great, and were a hit at our wedding, Kundan had the most reasonable price for this. The cost for the coordination for Gurjeet was reasonable and fair. We would recommend them for coordination, baraat, and spark machine as long as you get Gurjeet and the owner shields his equipment from the heat for the baraat. -

We worked with Angad from Kundan Events for our reception. His kind and easy going manner was very refreshing. Throughout the process he was very accessible and made sure to download music of different languages that we had requested. He even took the time to really learn the pronunciation of our and our parents names! -

A wedding in their vision, not yours
We used them for DJ and wedding coordination and here's my one line summary: they are good at putting on a wedding in their vision, not yours. I will give credit where it is due and can say that our wedding weekend went smoothly and they kept events and people moving on time. The special effects we opted for were great and they threw in a bonus, which was nice. However, most of our preferences were not heeded. We asked for a short baraat, and it dragged. We queued up songs for specific steps during the wedding; they never played on time. We curated a Spotify playlist to convey our taste in music and noted must play songs. They played Indian DJ remixes half the night and crammed in the must-plays at the end without any natural transitions. The most frustrating part was we had numerous meetings and emails to discuss what we wanted, but were seemingly ignored. On top of that, Angad hit us with the usual up-sell for month-of coordination touting weekly meetings/check-ins, but then snapped halfway through and said he had already done enough for us and that we don't need to meet weekly. We literally had to read him his own contract. Even worse, we had to make adjustments on-the-fly during the wedding and they STILL didn't listen. They couldn't follow simple requests such as "end the night on this song." They have a vision for what an Indian wedding should be, and that's what it will be. They preach reading the crowd but instead lead the crowd. Why is it so hard to follow the vision of the bride and groom? I can only recommend them if your taste in music aligns (i.e. Indian DJ remixes). If you work with them, request Rajan. She's an angel who saved us! Angad is a nice guy, but he doesn't know how to incorporate anyone else's vision. -

Horrible experience. Avoid at all costs!
Avoid this vendor at all costs! We came across Kundan Events at Shaadi Showcase. Our initial wedding date was in April 2020. In March 2020, covid restrictions began and we had to rethink our plans. We postponed it to August 2020. By June, we saw the case numbers rising and decided to cancel our wedding altogether since it would be irresponsible for 2 healthcare workers to hold a 250 person wedding. We would be endangering all of our guests who would be traveling and our own grandparents. We decided to do what was morally right. We spoke with Angad who told us the deposit of 1850 was nonrefundable, but they would be willing to return half. They later said they would not return the half of the deposit for at least 1 year and there was no guarantee given to us. Our other vendors returned the deposits understanding the pandemic is difficult to predict and there was no way to tell when we would be able to safely get married. Kundan events added salt to our wound during this difficult time. They were completely apathetic towards the fact that our long term plans had been ruined. In the end, they told us they would not be returning any of the deposit and even demanded the rest of the payment for the wedding. We have never encountered a company that was so unprofessional, uncaring and unempathetic in the way they conduct themselves. Their contract is hostile towards unsuspecting clients and we urge you not to take this risk. They will undoubtedly turn your dream wedding into a nightmare. Nobody deserves to be treated this way, and we are simply trying to warn others, since we will not be getting back any of our money. -
