Best DJ in the area.

My wife and I cannot say enough about how great it was to have Kuhl Entertainment for our wedding reception. We had a unique situation where we got married in Mexico, but wanted to have a party back in Madison for all of our extended family and friends. Kuhl Entertainment was very responsive in answering all of our questions and being flexible with our situation. We went with Steve for our DJ, which was an awesome choice! He was so willing to help out and on top of his game the night of the reception. He even took the time to meet with us before the reception to go over the timeline and the special requests that we had. He was flexible during the party with the timeline which my wife and I loved as we are "go with the flow" types of people. His music choice was amazing and had us on the dance floor all night long. We aren't a fan of "those weddings" where no one is dancing. We definitely didn't have an issue as Steve had the dance floor packed at all times.

Best Wedding DJ, Hands Down!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Kuhl Entertainment! From the very first conversation, we knew we were in great hands. Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible DJ Josh.

Kuhl Entertainment brought such an amazing energy to the celebration! They took the time to understand our musical tastes and preferences, seamlessly blending our favorite songs with crowd-pleasing hits that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. It was incredible to see our guests—from our youngest friends to our grandparents—having the time of their lives!

Communication was outstanding throughout the planning process. They were prompt, professional, and attentive to every detail. On the day of the wedding, they arrived early, set up quickly, and were ready to go without a hitch. The sound quality was perfect, and the lighting added a beautiful touch to the venue.

One of the standout moments was Josh's ability to read the room. He knew just when to switch up the music to keep the energy high, and even coordinated some fun interactive moments that got everyone involved. It truly felt like Josh was part of our celebration, not just our DJ.

The best around!

Josh & Co blew us away. Not only are they great people, they're supremely kind and a joy to work with. We walked away from our wedding floored, and heard multiple comments from guests saying it was the best wedding music they've heard--one person said it was the best music they've heard at an event period. Huge shout out to Josh and Aaron for putting on such an amazing set for us, it was absolutely a highlight of our day and something we'll always remember.

Organized, communicative, easy to work with, and fun!

I was recommended to work with Kuhl Entertainment by a coworker and I'm so glad they made that recommendation. Josh and Tauri made everything so easy and provided an excellent service. We met with Josh via video-chat first before booking and then communicated via email with Greg, Josh, and Tauri up until the wedding month. We then met our DJ Tauri via video chat to make sure every detail was planned out for the wedding. They are very organized and make planning easy. You can make your wedding playlist as customizable or as broad as you would like which was great. They also provided sound for our ceremony and lighting for the dance floor which we loved. We danced all night and would recommend them to anyone!

Best wedding DJ

We LOVED working with Kuhl Entertainment and specifically DJ Tim. The company does an amazing job gathering input from couples on the music they want to hear and not hear, and caters to guests as well. DJ Tim made custom song cuts for our first dance, and their cost is reasonable. He also helped us stick to our schedule day of so we could experience everything we planned. Would recommend them to anyone getting married!

Incredible DJ!

Josh was the DJ for my wedding in Green Bay, WI this summer. He absolutely killed it, along with his assistant! Every person that I've spoken to has said that he was an awesome DJ and one of the best parts about our wedding.
It was a seamless process from the planning stage all the way through the end of our wedding night. The best part about Josh and his assistant was that they both kept the hype and the party going all night long. His assistant was literally dancing with the crowd for most of the night while Josh kept the music going. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding so memorable and exciting! Thank you Josh and the team at Kuhl Entertainment!

Excellent DJ!

Kuhl Entertainment provided the DJ services at our wedding – I don’t think we could have asked for a more accommodating, professional, and, most of all, fun music and DJ service for our day! We were pleased to find that even though our venue was brand new, Kuhl had already been working with them and had visited them to understand their mic system and setup. Our DJ was Avalon, who was incredibly cool and willing to try some original up-lighting ideas that we had. The music was perfectly tailored to us because Avalon was available to consult about our music tastes ahead of time. Kuhl has playlists with suggestions for couples who aren’t necessarily sure about the exact songs they want played, but also easily and seamlessly found and incorporated a somewhat obscure Romanian-language song that we selected for our first dance. Avalon was incredibly deft in responding to our guests’ music requests AKA “reading the room,” including managing my overly-enthusiastic (and over-served) cousin’s needs as well as playing a last minute request from our bridal party that turned out to be a very special moment that we will always remember. She handled some minor technical hiccups during our post-dinner speeches (unavoidable and due to mic interference) with grace and had a backup corded mic ready to substitute immediately. In other words, we put Kuhl through the ringer and they knocked it out of the park! So many of our guests (the very hip ones) complimented our DJ after the event – Kuhl will be our first recommendation to anyone who asks us about DJ services in the future!

Amazing DJ and Photo Booth

This was hands down the best DJ service I could ask for. They played my favorite Latin songs and let us design the schedule, lighting and helped us along the way. We didn’t have any experience with planning a wedding and they made the process so smooth. I would hire them in a heartbeat!

Fantastic part of our wedding!

We had seen members of the Kuhl team at other weddings and knew they would be perfect for our big day. Josh was able to accommodate all of our requests for a more modern music style and created the dance-centric vibe we wanted for the reception. His team was also very supportive in helping us plan the day, and was also extremely flexible in changing our date during the pandemic. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a non-stop dance party for their wedding!

Wonderful experience!

Very thorough and attentive. One less thing we had to worry about on our special day! Chris even let me sit in his car with the AC on as it was unseasonably hot for our October wedding and I do NOT do well in the heat! Definitely would recommend Kuhl entertainment!

Josh from Kuhl Entertainment is incredible! He did an outstanding job as a DJ and emcee for our 8/7/21 wedding. Josh is a perfect balance of professional and fun! I appreciate the dedication Josh put towards understanding our vision for the wedding - my husband and I feel like he truly understood us and the energy we were going for! From the ceremony to the last dance of the night, our day ran so smoothly and I know much of that can be credited to Josh, he knows what he's doing. Kuhl is who you want

We had an amazing experience on all fronts with the Kuhl team. Our DJ Avalon was professional and fun to work with. She accommodated special requests, last-minute changes, and and a shifting day-of timeline with ease. She covered our ceremony and reception. You can be as hands-on or as hands-off as you want to be with this company. You can listen to playlists curated by each DJ and rank them according to preference before your DJ is assigned based on availability. You complete an extensive questionnaire that would allow any of their skilled DJs to give you an excellent tailored music experience on your big day. Our dance floor was full for the entire reception. And the included up-lighting that they set up in your venue is the cherry on top!

Cam is the man!

Cam made our day so smooth. He was on top of everything, adjusted as needed and really made everything so special. The photo booth went over really well. Everything was set up smoothly with no trouble, despite being at a camp (which could have made it hard). Kuhl Entertainment was extremely responsive, setting us up with everything we needed. No pressure for adding in extra services and really made it feel like we were their only clients. Cam was so nice, and we got glowing reviews of him from our guests. He made unique memories we won't forget. We can't recommend Cam (and Kuhl) enough!

Highly Recommend

We loved working with Josh, Avalon, and others from the Kuhl Entertainment team. We booked them for our wedding in 2020 and had to postpone to 2021 due to COVID. Our 2021 celebration ended up looking much different and was a smaller party with close friends, Josh and team were professional and helpful throughout the process. And the best part was how Josh matched the vibe of our celebration. One of the best pieces of advice we got when planning a wedding was to prioritize getting a good DJ, they’re important to the guest experience. Josh easily adapted his playlists to our interests and got people up and dancing all night long (something we weren’t sure would happen with a small group!) Would highly recommend him or his team for any events.

Best DJ ever!!

Josh. Is. Incredible. Having a fun, packed dance floor is the part of the wedding reception that my husband and I were most looking forward to, and Josh made that dream come true. He truly listened to our taste and what we wanted for the night, and knocked it out of the park. From MCing the night, to managing guest requests, and running a dance floor all night, he did not miss. Kuhl Entertainment was so easy to work with throughout the planning process, especially with so many changes to our plans over the past year. We can’t recommend Josh and his team enough. The Best DJ Service in Madison!

We had an excellent experience working with Kuhl Entertainment through our multiple date changes and a last minute venue change. They were easy to work with overall, and Cam was fantastic the day of. I can’t even begin to explain how great Josh Kuhl and the rest of the team at Kuhl Entertainment helped make our wedding day one to remember. Their contract was clear, they were in constant communication with us despite planning a wedding during a pandemic, and they stuck beside us during every single change was had to make.
Josh was the DJ at our wedding and he kept the dance floor PACKED the entire time. He was so animated and lively and checked in with my husband and I so many times to make sure that we were okay with everything going on. He helped us create a very detailed timeline of our reception and followed it perfectly. Everyone at our wedding was so impressed by him, his song choices, and his professionalism. I would recommend Josh a million times.

Great night!

Cam made our reception incredible! Kuhl has a lot of great resources to plan the reception and it made planning the reception so easy. Cam was super amenable to requests and kept us going to the end of the night. It was so much fun dancing to the music all night long. Brendan from Kuhl Entertainment was phenomenal. He was easy to work with and made himself available to meet with us when we needed. He kept the dance floor poppin’ throughout the night. Our photographers were very thankful for Brendan because plenty of people were on the dance floor and the photographers didn’t have to request guest to go out on the dance floor and “dance”! The facade he used around his DJ booth looked very classy and unique, something I haven’t seen before at weddings and we very much appreciated. He dedicated a lot of time in the day to make sure our wedding went smoothly. He brought plenty of uplights that accented the room and made it glow even more. You can pick from many different color(s). You won’t be disappointed choosing Brendan.

Professional and Easy to work with

My wife and I booked Kuhl Entertainment for our wedding to help us with both the sound for the outdoor ceremony, as well as our reception. Couldn’t have been happier with the whole process from beginning to end. We got the recommendation for Kuhl from friends and will definitely be recommending them to all of our family and friends in the future! We felt at ease with our decision starting with the first consultation with Brenden. We got to work with Trent for our event, and he was a perfect fit for us. Being able to trust him to play all the music we love, while also keeping a pulse on the crowd, made for an amazing dance party where the floor was never empty. From the clear, straightforward pricing to the professional yet relaxing vibe, it couldn’t have been easier to deal with Kuhl as a wedding vendor. We picked Kuhl Entertainment for our wedding based off of online reviews. I was a little nervous ahead of time because we didn't meet the DJ in person until the day of the wedding (we live out of state), but Patrick immediately put us at ease. He was super professional and played great tunes! We had a packed dance floor all night. One guest asked for the soundtrack played before the ceremony began because she enjoyed it so much. Patrick went above and beyond with a few details, like making sure the lighting was perfect around our whole reception. We recommend him and Kuhl Entertainment very highly!

We cannot say enough positive things about Amy as our DJ. She did a fantastic job from the initial consultation to the last song played at our wedding. She was so professional, caring and her passion for what she does really shined through in the service she provided. She took such great care of us the day of and checked in with us frequently to see if there was anything we needed, which was so helpful!! It was very apparent that her number one priority was to make sure that things went smoothly and that we were having fun and happy with the way the day was going. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Kuhl Entertainment and specifically Amy as our DJ. We saw Amy in action at our friends’ wedding and we knew immediately that we wanted her for our wedding. We had several conversations with Amy before our wedding and she was very personable and asked great questions to make sure she understood who we are as a couple and what we wanted for our big deal. She exceeded expectations the day of. From the ceremony music to several games during the reception to the actual dance portion of the reception, Amy did an amazing job of keeping us aware of where we were for the schedule and what was planned next. She even asked us throughout the day how we were doing and if she could get us anything like a beverage - it was wonderful especially during pictures right after the ceremony! Even though our guests didn't dance a lot, Amy did a great job of keeping the mood lively and the fun going. We highly recommend Amy and Kuhl Entertainment!

Hiring Josh was honestly one of the best decisions out of all our wedding planning decisions. To say he was only a DJ would be a huge understatement. I don't know how we would have pulled off the whole event without him. He was cued into everything on the schedule, keeping events moving, making announcements for guests, announcing drinks, bringing drinks to the head table (wow!), announcing wedding party speeches... his multi-tasking ability was amazing - all by himself, he was able to deal with all technological issues, music, and the schedule, all while keeping guests entertained and aware of what was coming next. Possibly above all else - Josh is true to his branding - he is seriously so classy and brings a vibe to the party that I am positive no other DJs can match. I've quite often been disappointed or put off by other DJs as a wedding guest and out of all of the weddings I've attended, Josh definitely stands way above the rest. FINALLY - the reason most people think they hire a DJ is for the music. It was even better than I could ever imagine. There was never a dull moment with smooth transitions between songs and genres. I gave a few hints of what we liked, he actually played our guests requests, and he fit in some of my favorite songs as surprises towards the end of the night. I'll always remember dancing to those songs with my husband. Thank you SO MUCH, Josh and Kuhl entertainment. Oh, and so many of our guests were complimenting him and offering their praise during and after the wedding! I can't say enough good things ...

Amy is hands down the best DJ in Madison! She made our wedding night absolutely perfect! Her efficiency, attention to detail and awesome personality was noticed by all of my guests who were sure to share their compliments with me and my husband. We are grateful for Amy and all of her hard work who organized way more than we thought was in her scope as a DJ. We will highly recommend her to many.

Professional, experienced, and straightforward. My wife and I had the pleasure of hiring Bill from Kuhl Entertainment for our recent wedding reception. During our introductory meetings before the event, Bill was easygoing, receptive to our preferences, and knowledgeable about the general structure of the evening. During the reception itself, Bill kept things on time, improvised to accommodate inevitable changes in schedule, and was in general a stabilizing presence during a hectic and wonderful night. We had multiple people comment afterwards on Bill's sense of humor and attention to detail. I would certainly recommend his services to friends and family!

There are simply no words that can describe the experience and the "feels" I got from DJ Amy at our wedding. She made us both feel like we were close friends. She made certain we were catered to at every moment of dinner and dancing; literally finding my wife and me on the dance floor to get a beverage order for us or to bring us food. Her music choices were everything we wanted. My wife and I, during dinner kept saying “oh my god, that’s one of my favorites”… all we did was briefly describe our tastes and she did the rest. It was fantastic and she delivered beyond any expectation that I ever had.
Amy – thank you so much. It was incredible working with you and we appreciate everything you did to make our day beyond anything would could have imagined. You are incredible.

We had Amy from Kuhl Entertainment as our DJ both for ceremony and reception. She was so professional, her equipment worked flawlessly, her service felt like we were her family, and above all, her musical taste was 100% on point. She took our suggestions for music and fleshed them out into the most epic playlists possible. She went above and beyond what I ever would have expected from our DJ. Even bringing bride and groom food and drinks. If we could have a wedding every weekend, we would hire her every time.

Brenden did an excellent job at our wedding. He gave us some thorough questionnaires that helped us explain what type of music we liked and did a fantastic job keeping everyone on the dance floor all night long. He also kept in constant contact with the staff at our venue and our photographer to make sure everything flowed smoothly.

Amy Twieg was our wedding DJ and we can't imagine having anyone else! She made our experience exciting, fun, and most importantly, stress-free. Amy was super organized and we had an hour-long conversation months before the wedding which made us feel confident for the day's events. She listened to our song ideas and created a set that perfectly reflected our taste. On top of everything, Amy was WAY more than just a DJ. She organized the flow of our reception from the grand march to the last call and kept everyone on their toes throughout the night. As icing on the cake, Amy knew our photographers and they jived really well together. We would HIGHLY recommend Amy as your wedding DJ!

I cannot say enough nice things about Amy and Kuhl Entertainment. We worked with Amy for our May 2017 wedding and it was a great experience. The process was not only painless but fun. We had initial meetings with Amy where we talked about our music tastes, then subsequent meetings we got into more specifics about songs that we wanted at the wedding, as well as the themes of the wedding, and also more about our lives and hobbies. It was super fun meeting with Amy every time and she asked some great questions for us, and got really excited and engaged with our wedding. She was clearly very invested in it, sending us songs she found, and she really understood what we wanted for our big day. One of the issues that my wife and I had was deciding on a song for our first dance. We had gone back and forth over about a dozen songs, and just weren't sure which one really fit for us. Amy suggested a song that was absolutely perfect, and we did use it as our first dance! Amy was also very helpful in coordinating other aspects of our wedding that we were unsure about logistically. All of the music she chose for the cocktail hour and during dinner was perfect. My wife and I had given her some themes we would like use, and she found the perfect mix of songs. Finally the music selections for the last half of the evening, the dancing, were perfect. The energy was kept at the perfect level and all of the songs that my wife and I absolutely wanted played were played at exactly the right times. Amy also made sure that songs or genres we didn't want played were not, even when a particularly unruly guest was requesting them. We continue to get comments from our other guests about how much fun they had at our wedding, and they always talk about the dancing. Amy was instrumental in getting the mood just right, and helping make our big day perfect!

DJ Kuhl is an awesome company to work with! They were extremely responsive right from the start, and answered all our questions all the way through. We hired them for our ceremony, reception, and the photo booth. We were thrilled with all three services. Their system was crystal clear, the music sounded great, and our DJ, Amy, was FANTASTIC!! She helped us organize the whole day and kept us on track, which is no easy task! She honestly was more Day of Coordinator than "just" a DJ, and it was wonderful! They are very reasonably priced for the value they bring to the day. I would highly recommend.

No Stress, Perfect Planning, Perfect Day! We used Brenden at our September 2016 Wedding. He was exceptional on every level! We loved his "vibe" when we first met with him. He know a TON about music, not just wedding music and was able to direct us down our planning path without imposing. He even did our off site ceremony sound & mics! Our venue, photographer, caterer and videographer also enjoyed working with him, which is a HUGE compliment.
The best part about using Kuhl Entertainment is I did not worry a bit about them (and I am a bit of a control freak). The day of the wedding he added in enough personal touches to make our day special without being overdramatic. He also used his wit to engage the crowd. He had beautiful up lighting which added something special to our reception space.
Most importantly was his professionalism. He covered everything we needed to and contacted us after the event to assure everything went well.

HIGLY RECCOMENDED!!

If you are looking for a professional, fun, and easy going DJ - Josh is your guy!!! From the first phone call to the actual event, Josh was so helpful during the entire wedding planning process. I was not expecting the DJ to help me with timelines, planning the reception and details of the night. Josh was very responsive and provided a complete timeline for our wedding, met us at La Concha Resort for a venue walk through, and was so professional. It really helps to have someone with a lot of experience and who is willing to be flexible to meet your style. Josh played various types of music during our wedding, from Brazilian to country, to old school hip hop. He listened to what we wanted and did exactly as asked. He also did an amazing job with lighting set up for our reception. We are so happy Josh was able to meet our budget and still provided the best service. Kuhl Entertainment is a must and don't even look at other options!

My husband and I were very pleased with our service from Kuhl Entertainment. We had Lane as our DJ and he was amazing! Since we live out of town, we communicated mostly through video conferencing and email, but it felt just as personal and professional as if we had met in person. He assisted us with choosing our most important music and was willing to purchase songs and versions that he did not have to please us. At the reception, he choose music that appealed to our guests and was able to keep people on the dance floor. Our guests commented on his fun demeanor and the great selection of music. My husband and I would recommend Lane and Kuhl entertainment to anyone who wants to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for their guests.

Brenden was a TRUE professional to work with in planning our August 2016 wedding entertainment. He struck the right balance between giving us the freedom to choose our own music, while delivering excellent suggestions when needed. After reading the reviews and checking out the website, we decided to make an appointment with Kuhl Entertainment. The paperwork was straight forward and painless. We met up with our DJ Amy one week before to go over the game plan. We just thought the reception was eating and then hitting the dance floor – thankfully we had Amy! She came up with a schedule and turned it into a wonderful evening. Amy had everything down: from lovely mood lighting, running the buffet line to getting everyone on the dance floor. We were given a heads-up before event announcements (entrance, cake cutting, first dance, etc.). Amy really took all the stress off us and made sure everyone had a great night (no matter how weird the song request were). Our guests had a great time, which is all that we could ask for. We even heard from our guests how great Amy was and had inquires on the name of the DJ service we were using too.

Thank you Amy and Kuhl Entertainment for taking our event to the next level! We highly recommend Kuhl Entertainment for your DJ needs!

Josh Kuhl was our DJ and he was excellent. He's a total pro when it comes to reception flow and keeping everyone on the dance floor. He will work with you on a playlist and maybe more importantly honor your "no play" list. He also helps with organizing all of your vendors and making sure everything is in place at the right time. If you want to have a fun reception go with Josh!

We had an amazing experience working with Josh, the owner of Kuhl Entertainment! We met with him initially and felt great about his understanding of our needs for the day. We booked 1.5 years in advance so we could have him as our DJ. During our final meeting, we felt great coming out of the conversation knowing he understood exactly what we were looking for. He provided our ceremony music which went smoothly. He had fun play list ideas for cocktail hour and dinner time - I chose a selection that was acoustic covers of pop songs, and I saw a ton of people singing along and had many people mentioned how much they liked it. At the reception, all of our 'must haves' were played and I got tons of compliments on how well he got people engaged on the dance floor. He kept things running throughout the night and was always checking in with us to make sure we were taken care of. I couldn't recommend him enough!

The BEST decision that you could ever make for your wedding! Josh was amazing, everyone at our wedding can't stop talking about how great he was! We received up-lighting with our package, we walked into the room and it was just amazing! He chose gold to play off of our wedding colors and it was perfect! All night long he kept everyone on the dance floor. Andrew and I had planned to do a send off before the reception was over but we skipped it because we didn't want to leave the dance floor! He made our night spectacular!

We originally found out about Kuhl Entertainment through our photographer, who recommended that we contact Josh and try to get him to be the DJ for our wedding. When we went to Kuhl Entertainment for a consultation, we met with DJ Amy. Immediately, we felt a great connection with her and decided to ask her to be the DJ for our June wedding night. We had requested that Amy provide music for the ceremony, as well as lights and music for the reception.

About one week before our wedding, we met with Amy at the venue and went over all of the details of our ceremony and we brainstormed about music. Amy was really receptive to what we wanted, and by the end of the conversation, she could anticipate most of what we were looking for. Between this pre-wedding meeting and the wedding day, Amy worked up a master schedule for the event, which she sent to us and to the venue wedding coordinator to make sure that everyone was on the same page.

On the day of the event, Amy was fabulous! She arrived on time to set up, worked up a scheme for inclement weather for both ceremony and reception (the rain held off until moments after the ceremony), and she was able to use the music as well as her skills as an emcee to usher us through a nearly seamless wedding night. She was fantastic and she took a lot of stress off of us!

I would happily have her DJ an event for us again!

We searched around quite a bit for a great deal when it came to our DJ service. We even had a meeting with a different DJ (who was a little bit cheaper, but turned out to be nuts), before we came across Kuhl Entertainment. We had Josh Landowski as our DJ, and he did a wonderful job! He was an excellent MC, came hour early to set-up, and honored our goofy requests. Really nice guy, and great service from this company! This was exactly what we were looking for: a great, experienced DJ who wasn't too in your face. :)

Best DJ ever! We had Brendan and could not have asked for a better DJ. He kept the crowd dancing all night. Several guests commented that they just couldn't leave the dance floor because he kept playing just the right song....song after song. We got many compliments saying that it was the most dancing people have ever done at a wedding. They were always very professional and followed what we wanted. We chose Josh Landowski from Kuhl Entertainment to dj our wedding this past weekend, and we could not have been happier with our choice. Working with Josh, the head of the company, was so easy and very accommodating. By the time the wedding came around, I felt like the DJ knew me and my fiance personally and played music that would pump up our guests and keep them entertained throughout the entire night. Our DJ's name was Pedro and he really responded to the energy of the crowd and what the guests seemed to like. The entire reception was essentially guided by the DJ and kept things on track and light hearted! I would recommend this DJ service to ANYONE getting married within the area and looking for some entertainment as well as any bride that is stressed out with the scheduling of the reception or is feeling overwhelmed. B Kuhl Entertainment seriously made me feel so much at ease before the wedding by making sure that everything would go smoothly. Worth every penny!!!

Lane was our wedding DJ, and the whole experience with Kuhl Entertainment was amazing from start to finish!

Lane and Josh really outdid themselves. I'll start by saying that my husband and I both have almost bizarrely wide tastes, music genre-wise, but VERY specific tastes overall. Music means a lot to both of us, so we had almost 2 pages of "musical brainstorming" sketched out, with TONS of must-plays and must-not-plays. Lane and Josh were consummate professionals at our pre-event meetings, and not only did they not make us feel silly for having such a crazy amount of requests, but it seemed like Lane actually had a lot of fun with it on the night of the wedding!!
He did an amazing job appeasing our tastes, playing what we wanted to hear, and playing nothing that we didn’t want to hear. The man did his homework, figured out what we liked and wanted, and that made the night truly special for everyone. He made us happy AND kept the dance floor going, from toddlers to grandparents. The end of the night was just as special as the beginning, everyone got to hear fun stuff, and we had a blast. Plus, Lane was supremely professional before, during, and after the event -- just the right amount of audience interaction and general helpfulness.

We were just thoroughly impressed and grateful for Kuhl Entertainment's professionalism, expertise, flexibility, and general positivity & skill. Josh and Lane were a huge part of making our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be, and Lane proved himself to be extremely versatile--truly an audiophile's dream for an event DJ experience!

Amy was our DJ. She was professional, fun and kept the crowd hopping. She took amazing care of me. Several of our guests thought she was our wedding planner. She got me drinks when needed, made sure everything was as it should be, and worked side by side with our reception vendor. She played the music we requested, she was very flexible, calm under pressure and gracious. She brought energy and fun into the whole night.

We seriously considered the rent sound equipment, hire a friend, run our music via iPod DJ option for our wedding. We are so glad we didn't because we would have missed out on the absolute pleasure of having Josh Kuhl serve as our wedding DJ.

Josh is such a professional and has certainly mastered his craft. He's fun and outgoing in an incredibly genuine way. We were able to easily use all of Josh's wedding reference and planning materials to tailor the music he played during the reception to a combination of our favorites and tunes he knows will keep a party going. Josh also did our ceremony music and sound and did a fantastic job with that.

Josh is just so good at what he does and he's so excited about it! It's really fun to work with someone who obviously cares so much about his job and business. As an example, going in we were not so sure about uplighting and were afraid our event would be transformed into some kind of cheesy club. We really wanted to keep the natural feel of our wedding venue. In our final meeting, we decided to give uplighting a chance based on Josh's recommendation. IT LOOKED SO GOOD! Seriously, go look at the business facebook page. We were the Sugarland wedding with the amber lights. He started the lighting at the beginning of the dancing portion of the wedding and it perfectly took the evening from dinner to dancing.

We had no doubt about Josh's ability, but he really went above and beyond our expectations. Especially for our family centered guest list, the dance floor always had people having a great time. We're incredibly lucky that we had Josh on our vendor team. We can't thank him enough for helping make our day so fun. Josh's DJ service was a great value. We received many compliments on his craftsmanship. The peace of mind he provided knowing we didn't have to worry about music or announcements was invaluable. Thank you, Josh! You helped make our celebration absolutely magical.

My husband and I got married on Sept 13 and we had Amy Twieg for our DJ for the reception and ceremony. She was AMAZING! She made sure everything was on track and going smoothly. She suggested great songs and made sure everyone was having a great time. We highly recommend her!

I found B Kuhl Entertainment through a bridal show and after reviewing their website with my husband we decided that they would be a great fit for our wedding day celebration. After meeting with Josh and going over the DJs that were available for our date and cost we decided to book with them right away. We did go home and look at all the DJs credentials/profiles on the website before we decided who to book. We ended up going with Bill and we was amazing!! The uplighting was amazing, his personality fit right in with our guests and come to find out him and my husband had a lot of interests in common. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, upbeat, and personable DJ!

Where to start... This is definitely a great company to work with. Josh was great at helping in the right direction in the meetings, and replied very quickly to emails and texts.
Bill was our dj for the wedding and we could not have been happier with him. He was professional and courteous without being boring and stuffy. Our wedding was a mix of traditional and fun/geeky/quirky and he fit in very well. He was wearing an awesome TMNT shirt when he arived for set but was changed to dress shirt, tie and slacks bu the time guests arrived. (We asked him to put the turtle shirt back on though). His energy level was high the whole night and he made sure there were no luls in the action.
I just can not say enough good things about these guys. I highly recommend them to handle your music needs for whatever event you have going on. If you lean towards the geek side ask for Bill and you will not be disappointed.

We had Josh L. as our wedding DJ and he was amazing! We had met with Josh Kuhl during the planning process and due to scheduling conflict didn’t meet Josh L. until our wedding day. Josh K assured us we were in good hands and he could not have been more right. Josh L. kept the party moving all night long and played so many great songs. Our wedding guests keep telling us that our DJ was the best ever. And I couldn’t agree more! Thanks for a super fun night, Josh! We were so happy with everything you did. It was perfect!

Josh was fantastic! My now husband knew him from school and said we should talk to him. I wouldn't have been happier with a different DJ. We had him to the music for our outdoor ceremony as well as the reception and it was amazing. He was very professional and made sure he knew the exact songs we wanted for everything. I had a ton of people at the reception come up and tell me how much they loved the DJ. I will definitely be recommending him to my engaged friends

B Kuhl Entertainment was fantastic. They were really great at working with us (I was an out of town bride which made some planning and meetings difficult with other vendors). Our DJ was Amy and she was fantastic! She took care of us the entire day and did everything she could to make our day easier, she went above and beyond what I ever expected from a DJ.

We used Brenden from B Kuhl as our DJ. Our number one request was that he keep the guests dancing all night, and he definitely did! He mixed a custom first dance song for us, which impressed the guests. He also had many great ideas for entertaining the guests throughout the reception. He was very friendly, interactive and accommodating to guests' song requests, which kept the party going. It was obvious that Brenden was having a great time as well and his enthusiasm was contagious. We had quite a few guests commenting on how he was one of the best wedding DJ's that they've seen. The custom uplighting was exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend Brenden and B Kuhl entertainment to other couples.

Josh was amazing! We had such a great time, and he had everyone on the dance floor all night. He personalized services and his lighting tied all of our decorations together perfectly. I had people coming up to me at the dance asking who he was and where he was from because they loved his work so much. We would recommend to anyone.

Josh was our DJ for our wedding and I couldn't say enough great things about him. He is very professional but fun at the same time. Josh was easy to work with during the whole planning process and gave us many options on how to personalize and make the wedding everything we wanted it to be! We wanted a party following dinner and that is what we got! Everyone was on the dance floor and had a great time. I had numerous people commenting on the high quality of all of Josh's equipment and even how great his voice is as a DJ. :) Josh was very dedicated to make our day GREAT and it was! We had an outside wedding and he played as long as he can, even to the end when all of his nice equipment started getting rained on. We have recommended to numerous other couples getting married as then we get to enjoy his awesomeness again as guests! Thank you Thank you Thank you Josh for such a great ending to a great day!

Josh provided the DJ services for our daughter's wedding... from the moment guests arrived they were entertained. Sarah and Ian had made some specific directives... no heavy metal or songs with profanity and background music during the dinner so people could talk to each other and not feel as if they had to shout. He also had the audience participating in wedding trivia. So many compliments were rec about this DJ service. And bonus... we are not in the Madison area but they still came to our venue site! Definitely would recommend (actually, already have!)

The owner Josh was the DJ for my wedding on May 17th, 2014! He did an absolutely amazing job! Hands down the best DJ'd wedding I have ever been too! The dance floor never had less than 20 people on it from the moment the dance started! When we originally met with Josh he asked us what we wanted out of a DJ and we told him we wanted a party and for people to be on the dance floor all night, he defiantly delivered on our wish! Our guests had a great time and Josh played well past midnight, in fact it was after 1am when Josh stopped the music and that was only at my moms request! I would highly recommend Josh as a DJ and B Kuhl Entertainment for your DJ needs! Also we had the photobooth and it was amazing! Would definantly recommend the package deal with the DJ services and photobooth! We also got to try out something new with Josh, he has 2 large TV screens by the DJ booth playing the music videos, I wasnt sure about it at first but Josh asked if he could try it out as a free service for us! Our guest LOVED this and so did we! If added an extra touch for the dances and the people watchers loved having something else to watch!

Josh and Bill (photobooth attendant) were amazing. We like very different music--I like '60s/go go/luau/surf stuff, and Andrew likes dubstep/lounge/electronic stuff. Josh did a perfect job transitioning from one era to another, and he played all the songs I really wanted to hear. He also did a great job of making announcements and making sure that the songs he was playing were what the guests wanted to hear. A few times, he tried a song, it didn't work, and he moved onto something else. It could not have been better. The photobooth was also super fun, despite having some technical difficulties at first. Josh was kind enough to give us a partial refund for those issues. I danced so much that I'm still sore! Our guests loved the music and loved how fun Josh made the evening. I would definitely recommend B Kuhl Entertainment to Madison brides who want a fun, responsive, low-key DJ.

Josh Kuhl was incredibly professional, flexible, and easy to work with. We met in person before the wedding to talk about the layout, itinerary, and special song requests. Since we didn't have a wedding planner Josh helped answer many of our questions before the big day and helped keep everything moving and on time on the wedding day. Ours was a gay wedding and Josh was 100% supportive. He also made sure to have all our gay "must have" songs in his lineup.

Josh is not only a great friend but an excellent choice that we had made for our wedding DJ! We had originally planned just an iPod wedding but Josh worked with us and our budget and was able to make the night the most memorable time (besides the birth of our daughter). He was very responsive to our requests and was also able to find songs on the fly that he didn't have. And at the end of the night we had a 40 person circle singing Bohemian Rhapsody with josh included. I couldn't have asked for a more professional and courteous DJ. He helped shape out night from blah to WOO HOO!!! I would highly recommend B Kuhl Entertainment to anyone looking for the fun, spontaneous, and interactive DJ! If I could give 6 stars I would!

They did an absolute amazing job at our event. We had absolutely nothing to worry about on our big day because Josh and crew had it all under control the entire time. If I have one complaint is that I was a little sore the next day from dancing so much. Thanks B-Kuhl!
