I've known Sammy Kudmani for over 10 years. I actually used to coach his kids, so when it came time to plan my own wedding, there was never any question in my mind: Sammy was the only choice for our band. Knowing him personally made this even more special, because I already knew his energy and passion were the real deal. Watching him bring that same enthusiasm to our wedding, on our biggest night, made it even more meaningful.
And he did not disappoint. From the first song to the last, Sammy and his band had our entire family and friends on the dance floor, and I mean nonstop. People who normally don't dance were out there the whole night. Sammy has this contagious energy and genuine love for what he does that you can feel in every note, and it completely set the tone for the entire celebration.
This wasn't just a band doing a job — it was Sammy pouring his heart into making our night unforgettable, the same way he pours his heart into everything he does. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. Very professional; brought extra tambourines and a cowbell to help get the crowd into it and boy did they! Band leader gave an overview of the nights genres, leading with music more appropriate for our older guests. Sacrificed a break to take advantage of the energy of the crowd. Do yourself a favor and book well in advance. -

Sammy Kudmani is fantastic to work with. We hired Kudmani for my daughter’s May wedding because everyone had so much fun and loved them so much when the band played at my other daughter’s wedding 5 years ago. We had a farm wedding in a rural area, special requests for songs, first dance and the wedding ceremony and Sammy accommodated it all. He knew the questions to ask us so they could get the information needed to do everything my daughter asked.
The band kept the energy high and everyone on the dance floor. Absolutely would use them again if we had another wedding! -

Additionally, he was SO cooperative and collaborative with her to see her vision come to light. UFun fact: We also had Sammy perform at our wedding five years ago!! The Kudmani band went above and beyond what I asked for. And I asked for a lot! They came out to an extremely remote area of Kentucky, worked with my friend to help make a custom first dance song, they provided a four song karaoke halftime show, allowed for my edits of songs to be put into our ceremomy . Every single request I had, Sammy “not a problem. We will figure it out.”Thank you so much I am still so elated with how everything turned out. I am still receiving compliments on how much fun the band was. -

When my Husband and I were planning our wedding, we said one of the most important things at our wedding was the entertainment to make sure our friends and family had the time of their life, on the best day of our life. When we stumbled upon KUDMANI, Sammy told us he wanted the night to be "EPIC!" and boy was he right.
KUDMANI was communicative with us throughout the entire process and was attentive to our needs/wants. He sat on the phone with us for hours helping to plan our big day and was a true professional the entire process. We wanted the party to start the second we walked in as husband and wife until the last call and Sammy accomplished that. His band played songs that got everyone at our wedding of all ages up and dancing. The songs were very inclusive to every generation and ones that could be sang to the top of our lungs. We had people on the dance floor all night long. Family and friends are still raving about our band months after our wedding! I highly recommend Sammy and his band for your wedding entertainment- it was one of the best decisions we made during the entire wedding process. We have never smiled so big, laughed so much, and danced so hard, like we did the night of our wedding. Seeing all of our family and friends laughing and dancing the night away is a memory we will cherish forever. Sammy felt like family to us by the end of the night. The most epic band
Kudmani is TRULY a one of a kind band and made our wedding day so much more unbelievable than we could have ever thought! They brought incredible energy and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Their music selection was perfect, they plays the oldies and goodies towards the beginning, then ended the night with a bang. They were so professional throughout the entire night and so easy to work with. We received COUNTLESS compliments from our guests about how fantastic the band was. They went above and beyond with interacting with us and all of our guests, inviting people on stage, being SO great with all the little kiddos that we had and even bringing instruments for everyone to play. The day was made so personal and tailored exactly to us. It all started with Sammy, several months prior to our big day. Having several phone calls with him prior to the event, him ensuring all of our needs were met, asking all of the fine tuning questions to make sure that he had everything exactly right, he truly made the day unforgettable. Having Sammy as the MC throughout the evening was a bigger blessing than we could have thought possible! He made the entire night run smoothly, kept to our timeline, helped move things along, and ensured everyone was having the time of their life. Thank you for making our special day unforgettable! Could not recommend Sammy and the band anymore!! -

WOW!!! That’s the first I think, looking back to my daughter’s wedding and having KUDMANI as our band. They rocked it. I’ve been to tons of weddings with a DJ and usually not even halfway through the night, the dance floor is pretty bare. Everyone is off in their own little groups. We didn’t want that to happen, and KUDMANI advertised that they kept everyone engaged. Well let me tell you, they delivered. Big Time. As you can see from the pictures, the dance floor was packed. And it looked like this from the beginning to the end. KUDMANI’s set list was great. He gave us options and filled the rest in with a lot of great music. Throw in some tambourines for everyone, or cow bells, or pull people up on the stage to dance or sing. It was a blast. And Sammy was a great MC, always interacting with the crowd. I can’t say enough about how they want to make everything perfect for the bride and groom and family. I called Sammy about a month out and told him I was learning to play drums and wanted to play at the wedding. He said great, let’s do it. I told him a song I was learning but the band didn’t know it. He said they would learn it if that’s what I wanted. I was amazed. However, I changed songs, and they did know it. So, they let me play that night having never played with them. The whole band was extremely supportive. They even let me go practice with them at sound check. I could go on and on about KUDMANI and our experience and you will not hear a single bad thing. I highly recommend them. Thank you KUDMANI !!! -

Best wedding band ever! Exceeded all expectations!
Kudmani band exceeded every expectation we had. Our dance floor stayed pack the entire night with all age groups dancing. Everyone is still saying that this was by far the best band they have ever heard. It truly was an experience of a lifetime! Sammy and the band were excellent to work with and extremely professional. Please trust me, and just book KUDMANI! We truly cannot say enough good things to do the band justice. Sammy is the ultimate professional from start to finish. He assured us that Madeleine and Hunter's wedding would be EPIC, and he 100% delivered! He also assured us that he would get everyone on the dance floor, and they would stay on the dance floor for the entirety of the reception, and he 100% delivered!
I contacted Sammy a week before the wedding because I was concerned that some of our guests would not be able to dance due to various health issues or concerns. I did not want those guests to be embarrassed by encouraging them to dance when they may not want to or be able to dance. He reassured me that there was nothing to worry about. The most incredible thing is that Sammy and the Band worked their "KUDMANI magic," and not only were those guests enjoying themselves THOROUGHLY on the dance floor, but one even ended up on stage- of his own volition!
Months after the wedding, our friends are still talking about KUDMANI! Everyone tells us that it was the most fun they have ever had a wedding reception. We can't thank Sammy and the KUDMANI Band enough for making Madeleine and Hunter's Day so memorable and special. Sammy is now like family, and we look forward to many more fun, memorable, and EPIC moments ahead! God bless and thank you, Sammy!

Gullett/Van Kersan Wedding
My daughter’s father passed away 8 years ago from pancreatic cancer. He was a drummer in several local bands in the area when he was younger. Every time we attend a wedding or a dance, he’s comment would be “they needed a band.” So, when our daughter got engaged, I knew he would want her to have a band at her wedding. I started looking for wedding bands and sending requests, I received messages back from several bands, but when I contacted Kudmani Band, I received a 30-minute phone call from Sammy tell me about their band and the entertainment benefits the band provided. We discussed we didn’t want a sad wedding even though her dad would not be there to walk her down the aisle, or to have the traditional Father/Daughter dance with her. Her father would want her day to be upbeat and happy. We also didn’t want to deny the Groom and his mother their traditional Mother/Son dance. I was sold on the band, but it was the bride and groom’s decision. My daughter thought the price was too high but after considering they were doing the music for the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception she decided it was worth the money.
Afterwards we have all decided it was money well spent! Everyone loved the band; people keep asking me how I know Sammy? They really thought he was a friend we had flown in from Orlando to emcee the whole affair! Everyone had a great time and danced from the first song until the last, that included the youngest to the oldest. Our photographer that has done numerous weddings stated that Sammy was the best emcee she had seen at a wedding, and she had never seen wedding guests so involved. All the band was so talented and played exactly what the bride and groom requested.
I made it through the whole day without shedding a tear, even when the band played “September” (Earth, Wind and Fire was the last concert my daughter and I attended with her father) and “My Girl” a song he always sang for me and my daughter. The whole wedding was upbeat and happy, just as we wanted. We highly recommend Kudmani Band and know your wedding day will be as special as my daughter’s and her husband’s.

We used the Sammy Kudmani Band to play at our May 2024 wedding at the Muhammad Ali Museum in Downtown Louisville, and it was the best decision we made. Honestly, our first decision was to hire them, and then we rushed to get a coordinator, venue, etc.
First, Sammy is an excellent MC who gets everyone fired up. His music is incredible; they know how to get people onto the dance floor, and literally, all of our guests were telling us about how great the band was. Need further proof: we had a few couples that were pushing their 50th anniversary and said they hadn’t been on the dance floor in over 5 years until this wedding and this band.
We used Courtney Samuel Events to help plan our entire day, and between the two of them, it was the best decision that we made. I’d highly recommend hiring the Sammy Kudmani Band, as they are hands down the best band in Kentucky! -

Kudmani rocked our night! Sammy and the rest of the crew kept the crowd going despite the 40 degree weather and was one of the highlights of the night! People were on the dance floor all night long dancing the night away! They were great to keep events going and show excitement all along the way. I have received so many compliments of how much all of the guests loved the band and how smoothly the entire reception went. I owe that all to Kudmani! I even received compliments on how talented the singers were! They gave us a great encore and exceeded all of my expectations. We communicated several times over the year and a half engagement and was super helpful in working out all of the details and request. They made our families feel so included and loved throughout planning and the reception. They helped make the day absolutely perfect. Some of my favorite pictures are from reception. From ringing the cowbell, being serenaded on stage, to even crowd surfing. It was a FUN night!! -

KUDMANI IS THE BEST!!!
Aside from throwing an AMAZING wedding party for us, Sammy Kudmani is a great person to work with! He called us 10 minutes after submitting an inquiry about his band, and he spoke to us for over an hour about all the details and answered every question we had! Sammy is worth every penny and more, as he was always easy to contact, and called us to give us updates and info every step of the way. He was very easy to work with / planning with our wedding coordinator too! When our musician for our cocktail hour bailed at the very last minute, Sammy picked up the slack and covered no problem! He saved our cocktail hour and did it with style and ease! He is a HYPE MAN, and gets people on the dance floor and keeps them there. I can't tell you how many people were shocked when they danced the whole time and how he got everyone (all 150-ish people) involved on stage and dancing at our wedding. We had so many people compliment how great our reception was strictly because the band was so good! If not for the music, lock in Sammy for your emcee - we had dozens of people asking where we found our band and our emcee and it is all Sammy! My wife and I looked at A LOT of bands beforehand too, and we went to hear each one of them play live, and I have to say KUDMANI rocks the house and puts on a SHOW!!! They are extremely kind, great musicians that play great music perfect for any wedding!!! You will not go wrong booking this band! They are seriously the BEST, most professional wedding band you can find!!! THANK YOU SAMMY!!! You seriously made our wedding the best wedding everrrrr!!! -

Highly recommend booking Kudmani! I could not put into words how amazing my experience with Kudmani was and how much I recommend booking them. I always knew I wanted a band because of the live music experience, energy and active engagement from everyone in attendance. I knew I didn’t want an average DJ for my wedding, playing the same songs that didn’t encourage people to get on the dance floor. Sammy was the best MC because he is charismatic and he knows exactly how to get people out on the floor! That being said, Kudmani’s energy takes it to a whole other level. Not only did every guest that I talked to told me they had the best time because of the band, but so many people asked for their information as well. My best friend / maid of honor booked them for their upcoming wedding and they were so excited over their performance. It’s safe to say they made my wedding and the band experience alone was the highlight. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I would change anything about the experience I had with Kudmani. Kudmani made my son’s wedding extra special and fun! He spent time to get to know us personally, and that came across throughout the evening. The song choices were perfect for dancing at a wedding for all age groups to enjoy. I loved how interactive he was with the crowd, and the red tambourines were so fun for both the adults and kids! Best Wedding Band!
Kudos to Sammy Kudmani and his band! He truly made my daughter’s wedding reception one to remember- not just for the parents or the bride & groom but by everyone who attended. As soon as my daughter got engaged, she and her fiancé immediately started searching for bands. To her the most important part of her wedding besides marrying her true love was to have the day that not only she would remember and talk about long after but that her friends, family and all guests would as well. So after reading a few reviews & watching their incredible video, we had to call. Due to my daughter’s work schedule I was the main contact and Sammy was very accommodating. ( some vendors don’t even want to speak to anyone but the bride or an official wedding planner, as if the vendor would be wasting their time or not get the bride’s input) Sammy made sure this nervous mama was at ease even after her daughter changed cities. And he was sure to gather info from the couple to make their wedding one of a kind. Fast forward to the big night- the band was AMAZING- so talented and fun. Sammy was a great emcee, professional and engaging- from the name pronunciation of all wedding party members to encouraging everyone to dance. At one point I looked over and saw my 2 year old granddaughter and the grooms 82 year old grandfather dancing- both rocking the tambourine. Kudmani made that happen! So many compliments later on about how much FUN the event was. I am thrilled we booked Kumani- you will be too. -

Kudmani for the win!
Kudmani exceeded our expectations! 10/10! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and multiple guests had bruises on their hands from banging on the tambourines! My husband and I had swollen feet for 3 days because we danced HARD!
After the wedding, everyone told us how much they enjoyed Kudmani and I have a feeling Kudmani will be our family band as we have many weddings in our future!
We thoroughly enjoyed working with Sammy as he is very organized and made sure our reception was 100% what we wanted. Kudmani band was the highlight of our wedding! The dance floor was full the entire night with family and friends of all ages, exactly what we had hoped for. The musicians were incredible- jaw-droopingly good! Their sound filled the room and their set was perfect for dancing and keeping the vibe upbeat and the party going! The musicians interacted with us and our guests, making it personal and even more fun!
The group was so welcoming and they also seemed to be having a great time with us! They invited us up on stage and gave us the opportunity to see all of our loved ones celebrating and dancing with us- that view is one of my favorite memories from or wedding and I am grateful to Sammy for making this happen!
As for logistics, working with Sammy was one of the easiest parts of wedding planning. He was extremely responsive whether I texted, called, or sent an email at any point throughout the process. Our conversations left me super excited about our upcoming wedding. The group did the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, taking a big load off. They also took it upon themselves to figure out logistics with our venue, another huge help.
We did not have a planner or day-of coordinator, and Sammy took charge that day. He helped line us up for walking down the aisle, ran the reception with the first dances, cutting the cake, and on to the party. He made sure everything ran smoothly- I would never have known if something had not because he took care of it! It was like having a good friend guide us through the ceremony and reception- I know this is what they do, but it sure felt like our wedding was their most important event of all time! I will forever be grateful to Sammy and Kudmani for helping us have the best wedding ever! -

There are no words to describe how amazing the Kudmani Band is. Sammy is one of the most attentive, enthusiastic and genuine people we have ever met. We found out about him and the Kudmani Band through online research since we were going to get married outside of Lexington, KY and also wanted a band for the wedding. First off, we were blown away by the reviews and the videos they have posted on their website. From the singing, to the song choices, to the joy seen in people's eyes- we knew this would be the best band for our wedding. We called to book Sammy (who is very popular so it's important to schedule far in advance) and it was like we were calling a long lost friend. He immediately wanted to hear our story and our interests while being super enthusiastic and engaged the entire time. After booking him, the process was super easy to set up what we would like done and the music we would like played. Before our wedding day, Sammy promised it was going to be the best day of our lives and we both 100% agree that it truly was. All the reviews are true. The singing is as amazing if not better in person and throughout the entire time while we were dancing and singing, everyone, including us, had a massive smile on their faces. Some people in attendance at our wedding who had troubles with bands at their weddings couldn’t stop raving about how great Kudmani was and wished they could do it over with him. The bridal party introduction was compared by many friends to a "massive sports game" and it gave everyone chills of excitement. Sammy and his band will go above and beyond expectations and not only will you feel joy with the music but also a sense of relief because when Sammy says he is going to make it the best day of your life, he will make it the best day of your life. -

Partied all night long!
Sammy and his gang made the wedding night. Their energy had the whole room on their feet the entire time. The song choices were phenomenal. They truly let you customize whatever you want for your special day. When he says he will take care of it, he will. They truly are the best. KUDMANI!!!! This band is a guaranteed good time! Two things people are still talking about from our wedding is how EPIC Kudmani was and how much fun Tanner and I had dancing literally ALL night!!! Kudmani was a major highlight of our night and our reception wouldn’t have been half as fun without them. They kept everyone dancing and involved the entire time. On top of their wonderful performance, they are sooo talented!
I cannot recommend them enough. I hired Kudmani based on recommendations from many of my friends. I had never heard them preform when I hired them. BEST DECISION I MADE! I told everyone that if Kudmani wasn’t available to play at my wedding then I would just hire a DJ because I knew no one would be as good and memorable as them. Everyone in the band is so incredible.
From pulling us on stage to dance to the tambourines, they were sooo amazing.
Thank you Kudmani for making our wedding so special and fun!! I want to do it all over again just to keep partying with Kudmani! -

When planning for our wedding, we knew we wanted live music. It’s our thing. My husband owns a brewery where he books live music weekly and has worked with many musicians so he was up for booking our wedding band. Our venue was in Louisville (not where we lived at the time we started planning) so it was all up to reviews, word of mouth, etc. He googled Louisville bands and listened to about 5 suggested and KUDMANI had the sound we hoped for so we took a chance, and so glad we did. Upon searching for more information KUDMANI hooked us up with all the details we could ever want to know and a crucial part for us was that he would handle all of the duties of an MC. (One less vendor to hire because he’s a packaged deal.)
He kept our wedding running smoothly, answered any questions the guests may have had, got people up and dancing, and made our New Years Eve countdown nothing short of EPIC. This band, unlike many of our other vendors, did not charge us more to book on NYE— same price as any other day.
He was happy to call and discuss song choices, itinerary preferences/options and he went to great lengths to make sure he was meeting all of our wants and needs. He was very genuine and knowledgeable about all things music and wedding. He communicated and worked closely with our wedding coordinator (very well) and was prompt to setup all equipment and conduct a sound check all before guests arrived at the ceremony. They also “dj’d” our ceremony and cocktail hour music and did a fabulous job.
In the months leading up to our wedding, we had the opportunity to watch KUDMANI play several times at other weddings and each time affirmed our excitement to have the band be a part of our special day, too. He made sure that the spotlight remained on us the entire evening and made us feel like celebrities on our big day.
When people attend weddings, they remember dancing and music, and we’ve already had RAVE reviews from our friends and family all thanks to this rocking band. We would recommend KUDMANI to any and everyone who wants to throw an awesome party. KUDMANI band will NOT disappoint. -

Epic baby, epic!
From when the guests were first seated, until they left for the night, Kudmani was incredible. Sammy got the guests involved early, and got everyone out on the dance floor, young and old alike, and made them feel part of my daughters wedding.
You can tell Sammy is full or energy, and he passes that on to all the guests to make it a very memorable wedding. One of my friends commented this was the best wedding band he has ever seen, and I couldn't agree more! Almost a week after the wedding, people are still telling me how much fun this was, and Sammy was a big part of that. Hire Kudmani, you won't be dissapointed! -

If I could give 100 stars to the Kudmani band I would! They made our wedding entertainment nothing short of AMAZING! Sammy was a phenomenal emcee, and was so great at getting the guests excited for the evening and out on the dance floor! We loved the extra props they brought with them, like the tambourines and the cow bells. The most special moment was getting up on stage with the band, my husband, and bridesmaids, and singing at the top of our lungs while shaking the tambourines. It was a truly amazing evening, and our guests can't stop talking about how incredible our band was, and how much they loved the variety of music that was played! My husband and I made the best decision ever by choosing the Kudmani band for our wedding reception! Future brides- go ahead and book them now, you definitely won't regret it!!! -

We are still recovering a month later from the awe inspiring wedding of my daughter in law and son in Louisville. We wanted to celebrate this union with fun and class. Sammy and the band delivered all the way. Let’s start with the music. Solid, fun, party music as requested with excellent vocals - the dance floor was packed. But, before the tunes, there was the best, most inspiring announcing I’ve heard. That set the tone. And, in line with a secret plan that Sammy and I devised, I helped kick off the music as a guest artist with the band (I’m a pro sax player). Be careful - these guys will deliver such a blast that the night will just fly by! What a memory. -

Most Fun Band Ever
Kudmani is nothing but ABSOLUTE FUN! It was such a personalized experience and a total blast! I filled out a questionnaire of special preferences and Kudmani more than delivered! Sammy and the band made me and so many other people in my wedding party/family feel so special! We danced on stage, we played tambourines, and more! We received so many compliments about how fun the band was and people danced allll night long. Never a dull moment. I more than highly recommend this band for your wedding or any other celebration for that matter. I so appreciated how Sammy helped capture so many special moments throughout the night ❤️ I seriously can’t say thank you enough to Kudmani! -

EPIC is an understatement! Booking Kudmani was hands down the best decision we made (after saying YES!) Before the band ever took the stage, we had guests telling us how great Sammy was at pumping up the crowd as MC. He kept us on track all night long and had everything under control- from announcing the bridal party to dancing the night away! My father-in-law is also a musician and Sammy coordinated with him so he could join them on the stage for a few songs with his sax! The dance floor was packed all night long and I don’t think we ever left it- except when we were up on the stage! I wouldn’t have changed a thing, if you want your wedding to be the best night of your life- book Kudmani! -
