Paliku Gardens - Best Hawaii Outdoor Venue Ever

As a bride who started the planning process during the height of the pandemic, I was looking for an entirely outdoor venue to accommodate as many guests as safely as possible for a gathering. There are multiple ceremony and reception sites to choose from even within Paliku Gardens! Due to the large lawns, I was not worried about it being too crowded even with a high guest count. The fact that this venue was highly customizable for me made it that much more appealing because I could really make this wedding representative of who we are.

Leila was very communicative throughout the entire process and made sure that we were always on the same page. I was given a preferred vendor list early on, which is how I found many vendors including my amazing planner/coordinator. Kualoa Ranch in general has a lot of experience with many great vendors that I was already interested in which made me confident that the wedding would go smoothly and it did.

My favorite part about having our perfect day at Paliku Gardens was the view. It honestly speaks for itself and is probably the most memorable part of our wedding for our guests. The views are unbelievable and as someone who was born and raised in Hawaii, it was still so breathtaking. I feel like I saved so much money on decor because the venue does most of it for you!

A Breathtaking Venue – Kualoa Ranch Was Pure Magic

Getting married at Kualoa Ranch was an absolute dream. The setting is beyond beautiful—lush, dramatic, and uniquely Hawaiian. It truly felt like we were in a movie.

The entire venue was perfect from start to finish. The natural scenery alone is enough to take your breath away, but the staff also made everything smooth and stress-free.

Our ceremony and reception felt so grounded in the spirit of the land, and we couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful or stunning place to begin our marriage. We’re so grateful to have had our wedding in such a special place. Mahalo nui loa, Kualoa Ranch!

Breathtaking Views!

Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch was the wedding venue of my dreams! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, I felt like I was in a fairy tale! I am so grateful I we were able celebrate with our friends and family in a place so beautiful, all of our guests raved about the venue!

Truly a magical venue!

Our wedding at Kualoa Ranch truly felt like a fairytale come to life. Every detail was meticulously planned and executed, creating a day that was perfect beyond belief. The team at the ranch went above and beyond to ensure that our day was nothing short of magical. Special thanks to Tiana and her team for accommodating all of our guests to join the ceremony as the last wedding in Jumanji - everyone was in awe with the most breathtaking mountain backdrop!

Paliku Gardens’ sweeping views of the ocean and the mountain made it even more magical during our cocktail and reception. Overall, our decision of choosing Kualoa Ranch as our wedding venue was the best decision we’ve made! Tiana’s responsiveness and attention to detail made our planning seamless and smooth for everyone, including our big party accommodation to the rehearsal. We really can’t thank you and your team enough for these unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!

Such a beautiful backdrop for your wedding day!!!

One of the best decisions we could've made was having a smaller wedding but having our dream wedding instead! Kualoa Ranch provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our day with stunning views!! Truly shows how beautiful the islands of Hawaii are! Our wedding was perfect and I couldn't recommend this venue enough!! Wish we were able to relive our day and take in those views one more time :')

Incredible Location

The team at Kualoa was amazing, so kind and responsive, they offer so many options and helpful pamphlets/information for vendors, etc. Which is how we found our wonderful wedding planner/venue, I have been in contact with them for over a year and they have been great.
My husband and I booked Jumanji for our wedding day for our reception and venue. We also booked secret island for day of fun for the day after the wedding. Both ran smooth and the venues are absolutely STUNNING. The cows as a back drop at Jumanji made our entire wedding 😊 the guests couldn’t stop commenting on the day of the wedding or next day for secret island on the locations but also how well ran it was.
They gave us a discount code for booking our wedding with them for any excursions we wanted to do during the time we were in town, for us and our guests. I HIGHLY recommend the excursions, they are fantastic. Our guests loved this.
Their team is so friendly and welcoming. To wake up the day after your wedding and have everything at ease and calm was incredible, they treated us like family. We even had a photographer come out and take underwater photos of us, they had no issues with it and assisted our group effortlessly, we had a HUGE group so it was incredibly helpful. You can obviously see by the pictures how beautiful the backdrops are.
If you are looking for a spot to book your venue, do an excursion, or an outing, Kualoa is the way to go.

Captured our dream wedding in Hawaii

This venue did not disappoint us… we were amazed at how big it was, and was able to accommodate all the vendors and services that we arranged on our wedding day. Absolutely Incredible Experience!

Our experience with Kualoa Ranch at Paliku Gardens was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Guests could not stop raving about how incredible the location of this wedding was! The venue team's communication is extremely quick and professional. Their grounds are meticulously cared for and their communication of expectations from a planning perspective are extremely clear. Amazing!!!

I’ve only communicated with the staff at Kualoa ranch through phone calls and emails, and everything went soo smoothly. Everyone I spoke to was so kind and expressed excitement for our wedding! They were also very responsive and quick to update things and send me reminders when indicated, which were very helpful.
The venue we picked was Moli’i Gardens, we were lucky enough to be one of the last couples to get married there! The grand stairs and the dock, with the view of the mountains, I just cannot explain in words how beautiful this place this.

The most beautiful wedding venue!

We had the most beautiful wedding at Molii Gardens at Kualoa Ranch. It is so lush, green, and will make your special day feel like a true fairytale under the trees! Birds chirping and all. The convenience of having bathrooms and an abundance of outlets was also very helpful. We were so happy with our wedding at this venue, I can't recommend enough!

The most beautiful venue

Our guests couldn't get over our venue. It was beautiful. We had our wedding a Paliku Gardens and were blessed with a beautiful day. For guests new to Hawaii it was the most perfect place to show off the island. A few guests said they spotted whales in the distance before the ceremony started. The team at Kualoa was incredible and very easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Beautiful boat ride and incredible views

We had our ceremony at Kualoa Ranch Secret Island and the location is just incredible. Everything about it was special from the boat ride to the beach setting and view. All of our guests just talked about how magical the whole thing was. It was the perfect place to have our ceremony. The staff was responsive and helpful. Everything was executed well. We used Wedding Planner 808 as our ceremony coordinator and she was great. If you’re looking for your ceremony to be more of an adventure and experience then this is the place for you.

The most stunning wedding venue!

We got married at Paliku Gardens on 3/10/2023.

The location is stunning! The grounds are very well kept and the views are amazing. We loved how open the entire venue was and guests could also walk around and take it all in.

The booking process was easy. I received a response within 24 hours and we went back and forth a few times one dates and within 72 hours the venue was booked! Highly recommend and Kualoa Ranch will always have a special place in our hearts.

Seamless and accommodating

Our wedding was scheduled the week everything started shutting down with covid in March 2020 and Leila and the team were accommodating and responding to the reschedule requirements. Very thankful to the team and the beautiful backdrop for our wedding.

We booked Paliku Garden with photo shoot in the Valley which was a great alternative to doing the wedding in the valley while still getting stunning photos. The valley was booked for our photos so very quiet and intimate setting.

Dream wedding location!!

It was my husband and I’s dream to have our wedding at Kualoa Ranch. Paliku Gardens has STUNNING views of both mountains and ocean. Our guests were also in awe of Kualoa Ranch. Everyone we were in contact with at Kualoa answered our questions quickly and were super helpful! We are so lucky to have had our wedding at such a beautiful location on the most perfect day in November.

Hale Nanea & Dragon Boat Lawn Venue

Kualoa Ranch is a beautiful place and I'm so happy we picked Hale Nanea & Dragon Boat Lawn as our wedding venue. Even though there weren't many pictures of this venue on their social media/brochure we knew it was a beautiful site with so much to offer! On our wedding day it was absolutely beautiful being surrounded by the monkey pod trees, Moli'i pond, and the mountains in the background. We had a wonderful experience having Kualoa Ranch as our wedding Venue.

Beautiful Venue, Amazing Food, Friendly Staff

I highly recommend Kualoa Ranch for your wedding or event! We had a destination wedding at Moli’i Gardens and despite living in a different state on a different time zone, the staff was easy to communicate with via email throughout the process and were knowledgeable and helpful. We booked Kualoa Ranch Catering for our cocktail hour and dinner and everything was fresh and delicious. The executive chef, Chef Kimo, was extremely helpful, friendly, had great suggestions, and was easy to work with. Ourselves and our guests really enjoyed the food! We were able to schedule a venue walk-through prior to our wedding, which was helpful to map out the reception layout with our planner. We also were able to book Secret Island as a second location for wedding day portraits, which was a really special and fun experience riding the catamaran to get to different locations for photos. Because Kualoa is such a busy venue, both the walk-through and the additional photoshoot location could only be scheduled one month out. As a result, we had to be flexible regarding walk-through dates and for an additional photo location, we booked our 2nd choice, since the first choice was already booked— however, it worked out wonderfully and we ended up loving Secret Island! Moli’i Gardens was such a beautiful venue for our wedding and we and our guests had an amazing time! The only potential downsides would be 1) not having the ability to schedule certain things more than one month out and 2) some of the facilities like the restrooms and bridal suite at the venue are a bit on the older side (totally not a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind for getting ready photos— we had ours taken at a hotel instead because of this). Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and are so grateful for the wonderful staff and customer service that Kualoa Ranch Provided! (Photos by Mary Costa Photography)

Paliku Gardens, Kualoa Ranch

As a coordinator myself, I work at Paliku Gardens in Kualoa Ranch very often and it never gets old! As often as I am there, this still holds top on my favorite venues on Oahu.

My friends and family were SO mind blown from the amazing views the ranch has to offer and the could not stop going on and on about it.

Leading up to the wedding I worked with Tiana and Leila who were both extremely professional and responsive with any questions I had.

On the day of Rocky was there to assure that everything was taken care of both in the morning and evening! Rocky, you're the GOAT :)

Thank you to everyone at Kualoa Ranch for hosting the best night of our lives! We will forever be grateful!

Paliku Gardens- Beautiful and more bang for your buck!

Half of my guests were from the mainland and the other from the island and 100% said they've never been to a more beautiful venue in. With the views of the ocean and mountains, they asked if they were in heaven.

The staff from booking, walkthroughs and day of were so friendly and informative.

What's included in the price: chairs, tables, ceremony area , reception area, pavilion, fridge... I saved so much on rentals. Don't go for the typical ballrooms, have you're wedding with natural, stunning backdrops, under the sky/stars for wayyyyy less. So many locations and angles that your ceremony can have too. Book Paliku gardens!

Absolutely Amazing

From the team to the venue, Kualoa Ranch Wedding Team was wonderful. Honestly, their venues book up to tour well in advance, and we almost gave up trying, but thankfully my now husband had work out there and I contacted the team once more. Definitely a place to get marry!

Nicole and her team from Best Day Ever did an awesome job. Kualoa Ranch was awesome as well, their Secret Island is very beautiful with a nice scenery, everyone enjoyed the boat ride from the dock to the island. We definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants to get marry in Hawaii.

Perfect all around!

When I saw pictures of Kualoa Ranch and particularly Paliku Gardens I knew I didn’t want to do our elopement ceremony anywhere else. In person it is indescribably beautiful. Communication was easy and quick. The price was extremely reasonable.

Stunning and comfortable venue!

Our wedding at Moli'i Gardens was so lovely. The Kualoa Ranch team was really responsive and easy to work with. The venue itself was just stunning. We loved having a separate space for the ceremony, the grand entrance stairs, and the pavilion in case it rained. The fishpond, palms, and mountains made such a stunning backdrop for our wedding.

A dream venue

Such a beautiful place

Our venue was Moli'i Gardens and it was so beautiful that day. The ceremony by the pond was like a magical sparkling body of water. The only thing you have to time is the boat tours that go on every day, so make sure they won't be in the background of your ceremony. Reception under the pavilion was very nice because we could have some shade from the sun.

Amazing venue with great staff

Kualoa Ranch is one of the most spectacular wedding venues in Hawaii! On top of that, the team was extremely responsive and easy to work with, even during covid they let us postpone a year with no added cost. Given the epicness of this venue I found the price to be reasonable as well. Thank you for letting us host our day at Kualoa, a day we will never forget!

AMAZING! Everyone was so kind!

Kualoa ranch was the absolute best wedding venue. There are no better views in all of Hawaii in my opinion!!! After living there for a few years i knew i wanted to have a wedding near the water & mountains & this was it. The staff were amazing and every single person on site were over the top kind warm and welcoming. They also helped us move the wedding to one day prior due to mandates and this all took place within 24 hours! So we were thrilled. Nothing but great things to say!

Picturesque Hawaii Outdoor Wedding

Our wedding day at Paliku Gardens was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have picked a more romantic and picturesque Hawaii setting. This site captures a gorgeous ocean view with the mountains behind us.

They offer a list of preferred vendors for their weddings. Justine Miller was my wedding planner and day of coordinator. She was absolutely amazing to work this. The execution was nothing less than phenomenal for our outdoor wedding.

In terms with booking with the ranch, they went up and beyond to accommodate multiple changes in our date during COVID. In fact, they refunded us the difference between our original payment for a weekend to a weekday. They were easy to reach and were always super pleasant. Amazing customer service!

Our Dream Wedding Venue

We got married on July 27, 2021 at Paliku Gardens. We cannot express how much we absolutely love Kualoa Ranch. When looking for a venue it had everything we wanted and more. We booked Kualoa sight unseen and it lived up to everything we wanted. Absolutely stunning views and ambiance. Your wedding photos could never look bad with the stunning back drop of this venue. It is also more affordable than many venues these days especially with the ability to use their tables and chairs which we took full advantage of. Leila made our experience so seamless and easy. The Venue of My Dreams

Kualoa Ranch was everything we could've dreamed of as a wedding venue and more. With Paliku Gardens, we got the best of both worlds: the ocean (plus Chinaman's Hat Island) and the mountain as backdrops. We loved the fact that we were able to select any vendors to work with and that Kualoa gave us a brochure containing a list of all the recommended vendors. Such a great value for a wedding venue of our dreams.

The manager, Leila, was super responsive and informative. She was wonderful and made sure to provide us with all the information we needed to plan and prepare for our big day. In addition, with COVID going on, updates on guidelines and re-opening were consistently communicated to us which we really appreciated. The whole process was so smooth and we couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to work with.

Hawai'i Dream Wedding

Absolutely stunning wedding venue!! My wedding venue was the Hale Nanea & Dragon Boat Lawn. Breathing taking views and great amounts of space. So cool to see where films were shot as well, right at our venue. Highly recommend this venue for anyone wanting a one of a kind Hawai'i wedding. Leila and her team are the best. Mahalo to the Kualoa Ranch wedding team for helping us out! We lost our original wedding venue due to COVID restrictions and Leila was able to get us booked with Kualoa Ranch just 2 months before my wedding day.

Magical Moments at Kualoa Ranch

Best place to get married or do anything period.

If you are looking for an outdoor, open-air wedding with GORGEOUS views of mountains, or ocean, or both, then look no further than Kualoa Ranch. They offer multiple venue options, and most of them come with "packages" that include tables, chairs, bathrooms, kitchen access, etc depending on which venue you select. Leila (the main wedding coordinator for Kualoa) and her entire team at Kualoa Ranch are a blessing from the wedding heavens. They are professional, responsive, and super helpful from day one. We were a COVID couple, so we had to struggle with multiple rescheduling attempts and changes to plans, but Kualoa was super accommodating and understanding throughout the whole process. We personally chose Low Camp, which is a completely remote location (meaning no electricity or bathrooms, just a cute little water hose for water access) located in the most beautiful Ka'awa valley (literally where Jurassic park and various other films were shot). This gave us the freedom to completely design the wedding ourselves (with the help of a wedding planner of course). Requirements may have changed since COVID happened, but I believe all the venues you are permitted to bring in your own preferred vendors (food, alcohol, rentals, etc), and Leila provides a very nice list for you to choose from if you don't have any ideas of your own. Popular dates and weekends book up quickly, so I would recommend reserving a date for your venue at least 1 year in advance (especially for the popular sites like Paliku gardens, Secret island, etc). I don't know what else to say except if you are even thinking about having any kind of outdoor wedding, schedule a visit with Kualoa Ranch, you will not regret it!

Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch

Planning a wedding during a pandemic isn't easy for anyone. It's even harder to plan it on a site you've never visited before, but Leila and her team provided us with the best experience one can have prepping for a destination wedding. Getting married at Paliku Gardens was an absolute dream. The pictures of this venue don't even do it justice. It's a wonderful change of scenery from your typical Hawaiian beach wedding, and there are so many options on how you can lay out your ceremony and reception at this location alone. The price was very reasonable and their team was very professional. You will not be disappointed with this venue and everything it has to offer. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Amazing, quick responses and easy to work with

I wish I could give Leila 100 stars! My husband and I have been planning our wedding since late 2018 and she has been a complete joy to work with. We toured venues in California (local to us), Kauai and Oahu. Once we saw Paliku Gardens, we knew this was the place for us. With or without the pandemic, her communication was great and I was never worried about our venue or rescheduling. I would recommend Leila and her venues to anyone looking to get married in Oahu!

Breathtaking Venue! Highly Recommend!

My husband and I knew this was the venue we wanted for our special day. Our wedding day was the one day we would be photographed the most in our entire lives, so we wanted to have a beautiful backdrop for all the photos and video. The team at Kualoa, especially Leila, helped make our dream a reality! We are so happy we were able to get married at Kualoa, and the venue has breathtaking views. We wouldn't have wanted it any other way. We highly recommend getting married or eloping at Kualoa Ranch.

Dream Come True Wedding Location

I cannot say enough good things about Kualoa Ranch. We had our elopement at Secret Island. I really did not want a typical Hawaii beach wedding and Leila was so accommodating with allowing my vision to come to life on the dock with the mountains in the background. It was an absolute fairytale. I can not even put into words how gorgeous it was. If I could do it all over again I would get married here every day. Not only is the location gorgeous but the staff is so wonderful. Honestly my dream wedding came to life here and I am so thankful for Leila and the Kualoa Ranch team!

Best Venue on Oahu

Truly, this is the best and most affordable venue on the island of Oahu. Other venues charge $10-15k knowing most people are having a destination wedding, but it's really not necessary to pay that much to have a dream-worthy wedding. I currently live on Oahu, and because of COVID we decided to have a small ceremony with no guests that will be followed in a year or two by a bigger ceremony/reception with friends and family. I did not want to get married at a resort hotel, and we wanted a private venue where beachgoers would not be in the background of our photos; we also wanted to give our (future) guests a "wow" experience since they'll be flying so far to celebrate with us.

So many of us start with Google images and Instagram, but Instagram just doesn't show it all. Kualoa Ranch was the only site that was impressive from start to finish. There are many different sites to choose from, but we liked Paliku Gardens because it gave us spectacular ocean and mountain views and many different areas for our guests to enjoy those views. And it's AFFORDABLE!!! The cherry on top was working with Leila, the Wedding Sales Manager, who was so incredibly easy to work with and very flexible based on what we needed. Huge props to her for being responsive and upbeat even though she's taken on much more work during coronavirus.

The perfect wedding venue!

Whether you are looking for a serene ocean view or an epic mountain backdrop, Kualoa Ranch offers it all! We can't rage enough about how much we love this venue. Not only does it offer various locations for couples to choose from, but the staff itself are just as great as the scenery surrounding. Leila, Doug and Nohea really make the planning process smooth and easy. You don't want to miss setting up a site inspection with them!

Breathtaking Views!

We had our destination wedding at Kualoa Ranch (Paliku Gardens) in October 2019. My husband and I had never visited the venue before and did not see it until the day before our wedding. But the venue is even more stunning in person that the photos - and the photos are amazing! The team at Kualoa Ranch is very responsive and helpful. The venue was the first thing I booked when planning our wedding, and they provided me an e-brochure with recommended vendors which was super helpful. Throughout the planning process they were available for any questions that I had & that was important to us, especially planning something so far away. On the day of, everything ran smoothly! the venue was beautiful and our guests were in awe. The space is big enough to accommodate a large sized wedding and there are different areas that you can utilize for your ceremony/ reception etc.

Compared to the venue prices were were looking at here in the Bay Area - Kualoa Ranch was super affordable! and the view is priceless. If you are looking for a venue that has a balance for greenery and views of the ocean, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend

Beautiful at every turn

Kualoa Ranch is just beautiful. We knew we wanted to get married there the second we drove up. We had our ceremony on Secret Island, where the amazing staff shuttled us and all of our guests on catamarans across the fish pond. Then we had our reception at Paliku Gardens. With the ocean and beautiful Mountain View’s. The staff was accommodating and we truly had a perfect day. Big thanks to Kualoa Ranch!

An Absolute Dream

Leila freaking rocked our wedding tour guide. My fiance and I were instantly attracted to this venue, but for two very different reasons. I was obsessed because of the location (it's a total dream), with the gorgeous scenery of the mountains and the ocean. Let me tell you... that does not happen in Florida! My fiance loved it because he is a total movie freak and I can not express how many movies have been filmed here! Leila showed him many different filming sites which made him a very happy man. Anyways, pictures do not do this place justice. I immediately reserved my date and venue (Paliku Garden) because I wanted it secured! My wedding is not for two more years, but I am so happy that I booked it when I did. The venues that Kualoa has tends to fill up very quickly. I decided to do Paliku Gardens for both my ceremony and reception. Although I contemplated doing the Secret Island for my ceremony since I have always dreamed of a beach wedding, I decided that it would be more relaxed having the ceremony and reception in one place which saved me money. However, I am doing an add on package for a few days before my wedding (after my wedding rehearsal) and paying for everyone to spend the day on the secret island (so we still get the cute boat ride of the fish pond-- whoop whoop!). If you book your wedding with them, this add-on is a lot cheaper and I think a wonderful way to thank your guest for traveling all this way for a wedding. I can not wait to experience my wedding here in two years. I am counting down the days!!!

We had our ceremony and reception both in Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch and it was just perfect! The space is huge with great facilities and different areas for each part of the wedding to set up. We also took photos in the same area which was amazing as you had the ocean and mountain views. We had such great service from everyone at Kualoa, they were always there to help with any questions. I would recommend Kualoa Ranch for any event as its stunning everywhere you look and just a beautiful place!

This place is so beautiful! We had our wedding at the Moli’i Gardens site which we fell in love with as soon as we saw it! The rehearsal day of fun package we added was a dream as well! So much fun and allowed our guest to enjoy having a day on the beach rather then a formal rehearsal dinner or luncheon. Everything was so accomdating and the staff was very helpful! I would definitely recommend taking the venue tour to see all the beautiful venue options they offer depending on what best suits they size and style of your wedding. You essentially have a blank canvas to create your dream wedding! It was truly amazing! Wish I could do it all over again! The only downside, which is beyond anyone’s control, are the mosquitoes and possibility or rain depending on the season. But even so it was worth every penny!

Kualoa Ranch is the perfect wedding venue. We had our ceremony at Secret Island and our reception at Paliku Gardens, and we could not have asked for anything more. The weather was perfect on the day of the wedding, and our guests couldn't get over how stunning the scenery was. I love the mountains on Oahu, so getting the chance to be married with both the mountains and the beach in the background was a dream come true. Heather and her team are also such a treat to work with! You can't go wrong with Kualoa.

If you want a beautiful outside venue and the freedom to chose your own vendors are far as catering, etc this is a great choice. Beautiful venue, I'd do my wedding here again 100 times over

Marina Pasion was so patient with us throughout the entire planning process and while offering her expertise, she worked with us to create the wedding we had envisioned. We just returned home from the best day of our lives – and Kualoa Ranch made our dream wedding a reality! Having a destination wedding was not easy. I thought having to plan a wedding from Canada, not seeing our venue in person until 2 days before the wedding, and having to communicate and make plans via email would make my stress levels go up. BUT, working with Kualoa Ranch and Marina Pasion made the whole planning process very easy. From the day I started working with Marina, I knew I had made the right choice in choosing KR as our wedding venue. She has a ton of experience, was organized, and kept up with my thousands of emails and requests throughout the last 8 months. She was so involved in all of the details of my wedding that I didn’t even need to hire a wedding planner!

Venue – It is absolutely breathtaking. I can’t even explain to you all how blown away I was when I finally saw the venue in person. One of the main reasons I chose KR (Paliku Gardens) was that you not only get a view of the ocean, but you also get a view of the mountain ranges and greenery all around you. It’s amazing. Every single one of our guests could not stop raving about the amazing venue during and after the wedding!

Food – Great! We were able to try the menu a couple of days before the wedding, and were still able to make a few adjustments. There were so many dishes to choose from, and Marina was a huge help in ensuring we stuck to our budget while still getting what we wanted. Also, the dessert was a huge hit – who doesn’t love a shaved ice and malasadas station?

Staff – everyone was amazing on the day of the wedding! The facilitator, bartender, wait staff, everyone was so on point to make the day go so smoothly.

Overall – I highly recommend anyone looking to get married to go with Kualoa Ranch. Our wedding day was seriously the most incredible day of our lives and it would not have gone so smoothly without the help of the incredible staff at KR!

April 20, 2015- My, then boyfriend, proposed to me at Kualoa Ranch. We live in Northern California and decided to have a destination wedding. After searching multiple venues in Hawaii, via internet, nothing compared to the beauty of Kualoa Ranch. I reached out to Kualoa Ranch, and was almost immediately given different venue photos and options for their wedding services.
After we chose our venue (Paliku Garden) we were introduced to Marina, who was beyond amazing! From our first conversation, I knew this was the right choice to have the best day ever. She was very easy to communicate with and knew what our budget was and worked with us with it! She helped me book the DJ- Mystical Sound Productions, the photographer- Jose Rodrigues - Picture This! Photography, the rentals- Pacific Party Rentals, Officiant, Rev.James Chun, Baker.
They day before the wedding, we had rehearsal and got to see where we were getting married. And finally I got to meet Marina after 10 long months and over 100 emails! She gave us a tour of our location and helped with wedding rehearsal, (who goes where, who does what, what to expect, and what to do).
The day of the wedding we arrived at Paliku Gardens and it was more beautiful than I ever imagined! We had about 70 guests, attend our wedding. The location was clean and well kept. We chose catering through Kualoa. The food was great, did not hear any complaints from our guests. The wait staff and day of staff were also amazing and friendly. Our guests were impressed when they remembered their names! The bartender was great as well and the bar set up was clean and organized. They also had a shave ice bar, which was a hit! These were all provided by Kualoa, which made it easier to work with.
Paliku Gardens and Kualoa was the right choice for us, the night was perfect, our guests were happy and we were beyond happy!

Where do I begin.... I am from Australia and always wanted a destination wedding. Hawaii was the first place I thought of for a tropical green wedding. I remember the first time I visited Hawaii and driving past the kualoa, the mountains were truly incredible. The beauty cannot be captured in any photos. My now husband and I decided to get married there.
From the beginning we were assigned Marina as our wedding planner, I am so glad as she was incredibly helpful and always assisted with my queries, sometimes there were many emails in 1 day and she would always reply punctually.
Marina helped us create our dream wedding, there was nothing she couldn't do and every question I had, she answered. We used the vendors through the kualoa for everything including, food, photographers, djs etc. for me this was so helpful. Being from Australia it was hard to find vendors that you could trust, with the kualoa I was comfortable knowing they had used all these vendors for other weddings/functions previously and all would come through.
We got married a few weeks ago, although the weather was not kind to us the staff at the kualoa were very accommodating in sorting out other arrangements on the day. The service was outstanding! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
All of our guests have not stopped raving at how amazing everything was, the views were breathtaking, the food absolutely scrumsious, music was on point, the tropical table settings were amazing, everything was perfect!
If you are planning on getting married at the kualoa - do it! you will not be sorry. Marina in particular was so good, I cannot recommend her enough. 10/10

I got married at Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch and it was absolutely beautiful!

I worked with Charelle throughout the entire wedding process and she was such a doll to work with! I had anxiety about planning a destination wedding in Hawaii from California without hiring a wedding planner, but Charelle was such an easy vendor to work with and made it such a breeze! We had a 50 person wedding and used KR for our catering, cake and as they even helped coordinate rentals with Pacific Party Rentals (required vendor for rentals). Charelle and I corresponded via email the entire process and she is really good about responding to emails quickly and answered ALL of my questions! I sent her emails with pictures of what I had in mind for our wedding reception and I must say she made it happen!

When I arrived on site on my wedding day, I was in awe of how beautiful the venue was and how great everything came together! Charelle was even on site that day to greet me, which was great to finally put a face to a name! Keep in mind that it rains quite frequently on this side of the island, but the rain passes quickly. As a precaution we bought ponchos for our guests which actually got some use as it rained a tad bit on the wedding day. One helpful tip if you are considering this site is to definitely use bug repellent spray - THIS IS A MUST! We bought bug repellent spray and left them in the restrooms for our guests to use!

THE FOOD - We used KR for all of our catering needs (cocktail hour, dinner, cake and late night snack) and the food was AMAZING! We got so many compliments on how good everything tasted! The prime rib was absolutely delicious, but my favorite was churro station we set up for a late night snack! It was such a hit!

THANK YOU so much Charelle and the wonderful staff at KR for helping me put together my dream wedding. It was such a magical day that I will remember for the rest of my life!

Absolutely beautiful venue! We had our wedding and reception at Paliku. We had a lot of people who attended our wedding comment on how beautiful the area was. Although it rained all the way up to the time of the wedding we were still able to hold the wedding and reception outside in our planned location. (A little mud never hurts anyone!) The natural beauty helped to minimize the decorating that we had to do. I recommend this location for anyone planning an outdoor wedding.

We are convinced that we chose the absolute best venue that exists on Oahu - Secret Island for the ceremony and Molii Gardens for the reception. It's the only place that combines beach, gardens and the Koolau mountains. Plus, it's a corner of Hawaii that has remained basically untouched for centuries - so you can take in the raw beauty of Hawaii - without houses, hotels, freeways, cars, etc. We really feel like we treated our guests to an "experience" - an opportunity to see this slice of heaven on earth, a place that even many of our local guests had never been to. They also got treated to an adventure - crossing the fishpond in a beautiful canoe boat! We used the upper lawn for the cocktail hour and the pavilion for the reception - which was a perfect size for our 50 guests. The bathrooms were clean, the lawns manicured and everything picture perfect. Heather was so easy and great to work with and accommodated our many visits and questions. Kualoa will always have a special place in our hearts.

We assisted our daughter in planning her wedding at Paliku Gardens and worked with Charelle Silva who did an awesome job from start to finish, She was attentive to detail and communicated with us regularly . The wedding was perfect in every way! The food was delicious, the service from the wait staff and bartender were excellent, everyone involved was very professional. Our guests commented that it was the BEST wedding they have attended.

With so many beautiful places, we weren’t exactly sure where to have our vow renewal/reception at until we found Kualoa Ranch’s Paliku Gardens. However, with less than 45 days, we were told that our venue had been exclusively bought out. How devastating to say the least. Everything up until this point was planned for that specific venue. There was so much to do with so little time. The ranch shared our distress and offered a solution. We were beyond doubtful at this point and was ready to give up even after their proposal. After some hard soul searching, we went for the proposal. Kualoa Ranch went above and beyond to accommodate and compensate. My family & wedding guests had the pleasure of being treated by the Kualoa Staff to a complimentary movie site tour and lunch at the Paliku Gardens the day before. This enabled our family and guests to still experience the breathtaking view of my original chosen site. Might I add that I was also concerned about not being able to get photographs taken at Paliku Gardens since it wouldn’t be available on my big day. However, the ranch still made this possible and even granted us access to capture some of the most beautiful pictures in multiple locations on their property. Although, we had to wait until the following day, it was still such a sweet deal. Thank you to ALL the staff that worked our event at Kualoa (I would list all the names, but I can only type so many characters). A special thanks to Charelle Silva. She was our coordinator from day 1 and not one time did she ever fell short of trying to work with us. She was very prompt with her response, always had a calm demeanor, and was genuine with a smile 24/7. I have to admit, despite the huge hiccup and me feeling like the world was over (lol), at the end of the day, everything turned out to be more than we expected from the venue, food, and service. If we could do it all over again…I would still choose Kualoa Ranch with Charelle as our coordinator =)

Although I'm still in the process of getting married, Kualoa offers many payment options. They're letting me and my fiance pay in advance so when the day draws near, the venue will be taken cared of. I always dreamed of a garden wedding and with all the different venue sites Kualoa brings to the table, our search for our dream wedding was over. If your looking for a lush, tropical escape then look no further. From mountains to a private fishpond. I'm sure your dreams will come true as well.

We only used Kualoa for our ceremony. We had it at the Paliku Gardens. The facilities were great and the view was unbeatable. Our wedding photos are epic!! The only blip we faced was a tour bus riding through during our ceremony talking. But when we told kualoa about it they were extremely apologetic and compensated us for the mishap, promising that they would make sure it did not happen to anyone else. I highly recommend this site for your wedding. It is a breathtaking site and had great customer service throughout our entire dealings with them.

We had our wedding at Kualoa Ranch a few weeks ago. Our coordinator Marina was extremely helpful in meeting our many requests, which were all done via phone as we don't live in Hawaii. Our wedding went off without a hitch and the venue was absolutely beautiful. Our only complaint is it would have been nice for the reception to go a bit longer. However we found 10pm is a standard finish time for venues in Oahu so this is not Kualoa's fault. A beautiful venue and fantastic service. You won't find a more picturesque venue anywhere in the world.

I can't begin to tell you amazing our wedding was at Moli'i Gardens. Everything about the setting staff and food was wonderful. I was very nervous at first about the event coming together but could not have been more pleased with the staff at the Ranch. The professionalism was amazing and the price was extremely reasonable. If you plan on having a wedding here you will not be disappointed. Truly a great staff and location with an awesome menu. Thank you for such a memorable day for all my friends and family.

Kiana, Dean and their team at Kualoa Ranch have been wonderful to work with. When we did our tour for the venues they took us to all of the locations except for Secret Island. We fell in love with Hale Moli'i on the spot. After waiting the initial year to pass so that we could book our date, we received all the paper work and additional information for other vendors we can use. This vendor list was extremely helpful as we used Hawaii Tents and Events for our supplies (they have awesome package deals). Kiana, Dean and the team were even helpful to allow us to visit the venue another time closer to the date so we could show our family where we would be having the wedding at. On the day of there was a hiccup at one point where an undesired tour group showed up a few hours before the wedding. This was dealt with by Dean and he made sure that they left well before the wedding started. Thank you Dean. I would highly recommend this venue as they have beautiful landscapes and different venues to meet everyone's needs. They also offer caterering through their caterering company. We also loved the choice of using an outside caterer for only $2 a head. That was awesome.

Our wedding that night was wonderful and amazing. We were so pleased with the way everything turned out!! Our wedding coordinator (Marina Passion) was phenomenal! I had never been to Kualoa Ranch prior to the site visit, but my heart set on Kualoa Ranch based off of pictures. It's such a beautiful location! Once we inquired about the availability of our wedding date, Kiana sent us information regarding the different wedding sites right away. She was very detailed and answered all our questions. We scheduled a site visit, which is highly recommended, allowing us to see the different sites. Communication with the site coordinator was easy, quick to respond and very helpful. The cost depends on which location you choose, we went with Moli'i Gardens because you get the fishpond and mountains views. It made the wedding that much more beautiful, priceless.

Our daughter was married in the Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch on June 15, 2013. If you want an outdoor wedding on the island of Oahu, this is probably the most spectacular venue you will find. From the area for the ceremony, to the cocktail hour area, to the area for the reception -- every view was beautiful! We worked with Kiana Washington, who is marvelous. She's kind, honest, prompt, and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Our guests are still talking about the beauty of Kualoa Ranch!

Kualoa Ranch is beautiful, and not overly priced compared to many venues on Oahu. The people are a little hard to get a hold of because they are really busy: but they are very polite and helpful and don't mind if you keep calling till they answer. Kiana and Dean were so helpful and professional. They work with you on whatever you need. Dean even sent me pictures of the bathroom via email so that I wouldn't have to drive out when I told him I wanted to decorate in there. They are also ok with you coming to measure and plan things out as often as you need (just call them first).

I used Moli'i Gardens. We fit 75 people with a present table, cake table, head table, and dance floor under the pavilion and used the grass area as a cocktail hour space. The bathrooms were super nice, and the space itself if amazing! I would never pick anywhere else to get married!

After touring all of the possible venue sites at Kualoa, we selected Moli'i Gardens. We chose Kualoa, and especially this site, because Kiana was friendly and knowledgable when she toured us, Moli'is beauty and Hawaiian history. Moli'i feels intimate and private and the views are gorgeous! We used the lower lawn for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and even held an Easter egg hunt (since our wedding was on Easter Sunday). We set up a tent on the upper lawn that held our tables/chairs, DJ and dance floor, and the pavilion was used for the buffet, bar, registration table and photo booth. All of that space allowed our guests to move freely about the property. We are so pleased with choosing this venue and feel blessed to get married in a place that has such important Hawaiian history. The site allowed our guests to take beautiful pictures of their own and our wedding pictures are dramatic and beautiful! And as a bride, the grand staircase is THE way to make your entrance!

Words can not describe this place! Its absolutely breath taking! We got married on Secret Island; the boat ride across the pond makes for amazing pictures, you then walk through a small bamboo forest and come out on the beach. It was perfect!!!!

Excellent - Cannot say enough great things about the staff, and the LOCATION! Paliku Gardens is where we had our wedding, and every person was amazed at the breathtaking views and how the grounds were so well kept. The coordinators, Robin and Dean were always accessable, no matter what time of the day we called.\r\n\r\nWe were able to bring in any musician or caterer, and that was important to us. Moli'i Gardens was the perfect setting for our wedding! The staff at Kualoa Ranch were very helpful when it came to setting up our ceremony rehearsal, and we received our deposit back exactly 2 weeks after the wedding, not bad! The prices were quite a bit better than other vendors on Oahu (such as private estates or Lanikuhonua). It's a bit out of the way but it's perfect for a private, lush, smaller wedding. We were married on the lower lever next to the fishpond, and had the reception in the pavillion. Our only issue is that it poured just before the ceremony and everything was drenched. But the rain is why it's so beautiful there!

We had a 120+ person ceremony and reception at Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch. The venue is seriously stunning and provided such a great value for us. We were looking for a non-beach venue that was outdoors but still had comfortable amenities like a kitchen and clean bathrooms, and allowed us flexibility in choosing vendors. Paliku Gardens fit all of our criteria. Kualoa Ranch has a few simple and reasonable restrictions. If you need a rental company to provide a tent for example, you must choose a pre-approved vendor. They provide you with a list of caterers you may work with for no additional fee, but you may choose another caterer for an extra cost. However, all of the vendors on their lists are vendors we would likely have chosen anyway as and we wanted a rental company/caterer who had extensive experience working at Kualoa Ranch. We were also able to buy all of our own alcohol and soft drinks and have bartenders serve them to our guests.
We were able to set up a site visit without much trouble at all, and booked the venue quickly thereafter. We did not need to communicate too much with Kualoa Ranch in the months leading up to the wedding. They seem to be extremely busy, so we did sometimes need to follow up several times. However, we did get answers to all our questions, and because we had a wedding coordinator step in at the two month mark, she was able to take over with much of the communication and follow up.
Overall, I'd highly recommend Paliku Gardens as it was everything we wanted.

We had our ceremony and reception through Kualoa Ranch at their Moli'i Gardens venue. The venue was breath taking and very well maintained. Ceremony was on the lower lawn, cocktail hour, upper lawn, reception open air pavilion. I worked with Charelle to organize/plan the wedding. She was always very professional and helpful. Sometime response time was a little long, but in general amazing customer service. All staff were great with answering the many questions I had and were very flexible with scheduling meetings. I was planning a destination wedding which made it necessary to schedule face to face contact in advance and they were always accommodating. I appreciated suggestions they provided and resources they extended my way. They were very flexible with the outside vendors I used (DJ, flowers, photographer) and had relationships with some of them, which made day of run very smoothly. Rehearsal and day of coordination was with Tocorro (sp?) who was amazing. Had great insight on how to make day of run smoothly, very direct, timely, and personable. Day of everything ran smoothly. I was beyond impressed by the wait staff. They were incredibly helpful and constantly asking if they could get myself or my guests anything. The day went off without a hitch, everything was absolutely beautiful and they did an amazing job with set up and execution of reception decorations. All in all I was extremely satisfied with their customer service. I would have to say the professionalism and amazing customer service on the day of the wedding by all staff was the most impressive and above and beyond my expectations. Would highly recommend.

I recently got married at the Kualoa Ranch on November 8, 2014. Overall the wedding planning and event was fantastic. I really enjoyed working with the Kualoa Ranch staff.
We chose the Moli'i Gardens site for our event. It was perfect for our intimate event. We had our ceremony on the lower lawn by the fish pond, cocktail hour on the upper lawn, and the reception in the pavilion. There is also a cottage on site that we intended to use in case of rain during the ceremony.
We mainly worked with Charelle for our event planning. She was very helpful and professional, and was really great about letting us come back to the site to take measurements, have our rehearsal practice, etc. She always answered all of my questions, and the day of the event was perfect.
During the summer months, the ranch is very busy with a high volume of wedding events on site, so they may take a little while longer to respond. If Charelle was busy, her assistant Heather was great about relaying messages to me or answering my questions during this time,
The site facilitator, Socorro, was extremely helpful also. She arrived the day of the event early in the morning and stayed for the whole event. She helped make sure everything ran smoothly. She was very friendly and helped me a lot during the wedding. This was a very big help to me, as I did not have a wedding planner.
The ranch uses their own catering service but they also let you customize the food which we did for one side item. They use the Pacific Party Rental company for all of their rental equipment and we were very satisfied with their items.
It was a very laid back wedding but still very professional thanks to the staff. All of our guests loved the venue, food, and the Kualoa Ranch wait staff. It was a great wedding!

My husband and I had our destination wedding at Kualoa Ranch in August 2014. We live in Northern California, so all of the planning took place via email or by phone. We had a fairly large destination wedding, with 92 guests. As we live far away, we never got a chance to see the sight in person... but let me tell you... as soon as we stepped off of our bus and saw Hale Moli'i... THE VENUE IS SPECTACULAR, BREATHTAKING.... no picture can ever capture how stunning the Hale Moli'i gardens were. My guests and I just could not believe how beautiful the lush foliage, towering mountains, and tranquil fishpond were. Kualoa Ranch has an amazing Hawaiian charm - when you picture going to Hawaii - this is it! I was so, SO happy that we chose Kualoa Ranch. We had a whiskey bar, cigar bar, the most beautiful tropical flower centerpieces (BY KOA - AMAZING FLOWERS!).Marina was extremely kind, flexible, and able to make changes based on what my husband and I wanted. She helped us to attain our vision to the T. However we received a different "day of" coordinator named Soccoro. I would have to say that there were a few instances where we were confused by her. For example, she told my husband at 8:00PM that our alcohol had almost run out and asked if we would like to call the buses so our guests can leave early (???). When my husband went to check on the alcohol at the bar, we actually had three cases of wine left. When he went to question her, she changed her story. Not sure what happened here? Regardless we partied the night away and left at 10PM. When you bring 92 people out 2,300 miles away, you hope that the venue is worth it, and let me tell you, I was SO proud and happy to bring my closest friends and family to Kualoa Ranch. All of my guests were in awe of this venue, many told my husband and I that this was the best wedding they have ever been to, and I know in my heart this wedding is an event that no one will ever forget... Kualoa Ranch helped us to make this happen!

I picked Kualoa Ranch - Paliku Gardens because of the beautiful view that it offered! Actually, any of their venues are beautiful but Paliku features the view of Chinaman's Hat from the foot of the mountains. We only had our cocktail and reception there but many people have their ceremony there as well. They also have an indoor pavilion if you don't want an outdoor reception.

At first, it was a little tough to contact the coordinators. Once I did get a hold of them via phone, I found that Kiana and Dean were very nice, approachable, and professional. They answered all my questions.

I think the price for this venue is worth it! Keep in mind that it is a few hundred dollars cheaper during the weekday. There is also a $500 refundable fee that i received within 2-3 weeks post-wedding. They do offer their preferred vendors plus they have their own catering services. I did go with an outside caterer so I had a $2pp fee on top of venue price. I also rented my own tent, tables/chairs, plates/utensils, and cups. I went through what my coordinator recommended.

It's a bit tough to get the limo up to Paliku but it's possible. The parking is on grass though. There are bathrooms at the indoor pavilion area too.

I would definitely recommend this place! I have really awesome pictures because of the background scenery! :) thank you to everyone at Kualoa Ranch!

Kualoa Ranch - Moli'i Gardens... is where I had my wedding ceremony + cocktail hour/reception. I can't say enough about how breathtakingly beautiful this place is! My guests were floored by the natural beauty surrounding us all...and as we said our vows...the fish were jumping in the pond (which means good luck) and although it was rainy season and this spot is on the rainy side of the island - there was not even one drop of rain! The location is pricier than many other locations on the island, but well worth the privacy and flexibility extended to us. Also - there are tours that take place here - so make sure you ask about the schedules prior to - as we had to push our ceremony 15min later so our nuptuals weren't interrupted by tourists undocking from the tour...but other than that it was THE perfect location and it showcased Hawaii's beauty very welll! Very romantic -

Gorgeous venues!

We visited Hawaii to look at a couple of wedding venues we had researched online. When we arrived and took a tour of Moli’i Gardens and Secret Island, we immediately knew that these were the venues we wanted to have our wedding at. The two venues are gorgeous and even photos are hard to capture the natural beauty. We wanted a beach ceremony where we wouldn’t have strangers in the background of our photos. Secret Island was exactly that. As close to a private beach as possible (since all beaches in Hawaii are public). Moli’i gardens was a ver convenient locations for hosting our reception following the ceremony, because the Secret Island dock is right next to the entrance to the gardens. One of the aspects we loved about Moli’i was the huge tree and curved staircase from the lower to upper gardens. We did our first look on the garden staircase. It felt like and fairytale entrance!

We could not have found a more stunning place to have our wedding. Our guests loved it too and were giving us compliments weeks after!
