Kristyn did an amazing job on our engagement pictures! We had our pictures taken at the Tidal Basin in D.C. during cherry blossom season. Kristyn helped answer all our questions leading up to our session and was super helpful in the planning process. She knew all the best spots for photos and helped position us to look natural and not too posed. Kristyn is so friendly and professional, she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She sent us a couple sneak peek photos right away and the rest of our photos did not take long. We are very happy with the outcome. I would recommend Kristyn to anyone looking for a wedding or engagement photographer! -

Having Kristyn as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Kristyn photographed both our engagement shoot and our wedding day and she was so so wonderful! First and foremost, Kristyn was incredibly easy to work with. During the planning phase communication was clear and responsive. Day of, Kristyn was such a calming and uplifting presence, we felt relaxed and at ease the whole time and Kristyn's directions were clear and easy to follow! Additionally, Kristyn is incredibly organized and had a great plan and timeline for our wedding day, we were not rushed at all and we had lots of time to savor our special moments. Kristyn did such a good job capturing all the moments of our special day and we absolutely love how our photos turned out :) -

Absolutely Perfect!
Kristyn is absolutely WONDERFUL!! We were initially captured by Kristyn's editing style, but after the introductory phone call, we immediately knew that she would be the perfect photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. It is evident that her passion shines through her work. From the beginning, Kristyn was responsive, organized, and professional - she took the time to listen to our vision to make sure she captured everything we wanted. She expertly guided us through poses for the camera during our engagement shoot, and by the time our wedding rolled around, the posing felt so natural - we were posing with such confidence that we didn't know we had! Her friendly personality and calming presence dissolved any worries during our wedding day. Kristyn has captured the magic of our day perfectly - every time we look at our photos, it feels like we are transported back to our wedding day once more. We can't thank her enough! We are so thrilled with our photos and we highly recommend her as your photographer! -

Simply wonderful wedding photography experience!
We were originally drawn to Kristyn by her editing style. However, after having our inquiry call, we immediately knew Kristyn was someone we would want to capture one of the most important chapters of our lives!! We wanted people on our team that we felt as though we could be friends with since we would be spending so many hours with them on our wedding day. Kristyn is just, simply put, someone you can easily be friends with! She is kind, gracious, and professional. We ran into a hiccup in which it unexpectedly rained on the day of our engagement shoot. Kristyn profusely apologized and waited the rain out with us, giving us even more time than we were originally scheduled for. We were in simply in awe of our engagement photos, and were genuinely excited to work with Kristyn on our wedding day. When our wedding day came, Kristyn and her second shooter, Jason, were again awesome to work with. Overall, we were just amazed at how our sneak peaks came out for our 50/50 tease; and even more so when we got our final photos back. We would go back and use Kristyn over and over again and cannot recommend her any more highly or enough! :) -

Kristyn was delightful to work with. We had a wonderful engagement photoshoot at the cherry blossoms and she made us feel very comfortable. She is easy to get along with and has a positive vibe which creates really good energy for the photoshoot experience. The day of the wedding, she was able to confidently and calmly direct the bride, bridesmaids, mothers, etc into position for photos even given the tight timeline. We got a lot of great photos in a short amount of time including at the hotel, outside the church, inside the church, etc. The groom enjoyed working with her husband Jason as the second shooter. Would highly recommend! She was open to learning about where the photographer can/cannot stand during an Orthodox Christian wedding ceremony and did a great job. She took the time to understand the important moments like the crowning, the dance of Isiah, etc which are unique features of the ceremony. She also made sure to ask about what special moments we wanted captured at the reception. A great photographer and a wonderful person to have around on your wedding day. -

My husband and I worked with Kristyn for our engagement photos and our wedding! Kristyn is responsive, easy to work with, and delivers beautiful photos quickly so you don’t have to wait too long. Kristyn also is very professional - she knows when to provide guidance and when to be a fly on the wall. We would definitely recommend her! -

Choosing Kristyn as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our special day. From the very beginning, Kristyn's organization and responsiveness put us at ease during the often stressful wedding planning process. She took the time to understand our vision and even asked for a list of specific shots we wanted, ensuring that every important moment was captured beautifully.
On the day of the wedding, Kristyn's professionalism and compassion truly shined. Arriving early, she seamlessly blended into the festivities while still managing to capture every precious moment. Her presence was calming, and she showed genuine care for us as the bride and groom, as well as for all of our guests.
When we received the photos, we were absolutely blown away. Kristyn's talent and skill were evident in every shot, and she managed to capture the joy and love of our wedding day perfectly. Looking through the pictures, we were able to relive our happiest moments as a couple and as a family.

There will never be adequate words to express my sincere love for Kristyn and Jason. From the jump, Kristyn was a great communicator and open to anything we envisioned. She allowed us to take engagement photos in a new place for her and made Paul and I feel so comfortable taking professional photos together for the first time, which was a scary thing! She was so helpful and came with great tips. Her package for engagement photos and wedding day with a second shooter was exactly what we were looking for! Her communication continued to be amazing throughout the year leading up to our wedding with a detailed questionnaire and a zoom call with our day of coordinator to make sure we were all on the same page, especially with timeline- this all put me at so much ease the day of! Back to Kristyn and Jason being so warm and comforting on our wedding day! They were high energy and on point with every photo section. We were able to complete all photos before our ceremony so that we could enjoy the rest of our day with our loved ones! Now onto after the wedding. The 50/50 tease was more than I even expected! 50 edited photos within 50 hours of the wedding?! Are you kidding? That’s unheard of!!! After seeing all the photos, Kristyn’s vision was so on point!!! The colors were incredible, the cues during photos were so helpful. Her and Jason captured every single aspect of the day perfectly. I have NO NOTES. Photos will last forever and I am so grateful Kristyn came across my desk during wedding searching because she exceeded anything I could’ve envisioned myself. -

We had a great experience with Kristyn.
We had a very small wedding which was no problem for her, and she was full of great ideas for our photos. She made excellent use of the gardens we had the ceremony at and really knew what poses would look best for us. Her lighting and focus were on point too.
We're very happy with our photos and felt that the price was very fair.

After meeting with several photographers, I am so happy I chose Kristyn! We immediately clicked! Kristyn is so responsive with our communications, both email and phone. We loved the option to have a 2-hour engagement shoot to get to know her and to learn about her photography style. She was also so flexible and was able to change photoshoot location last minute because of weather. She walks us through every step and and is so patient during outfit changes. She is also quick to get us our gallery back. When she delivers, she DELIVERS.
So excited to work with her for our wedding next! -

I highly recommend working with Kristyn! My husband and I hired Kristyn to photograph our wedding and we are so glad we did. We found Kristyn through Wedding Wire where she responded to our inquiry right away and was very communicative with us. Her portfolio was beautiful so we knew right away that we wanted to work with her. She worked with us so she knew our wedding's schedule, who we wanted to get photos with, and where we wanted our photos taken. The day of she was so professional and efficient! We had a lot of fun with her and the photos turned out beautifully. Kristyn was the best! -

We recently had an elopement wedding ceremony and Kristyn was our photographer. I would absolutely recommend her. Her pictures turned out very nice, at a reasonable cost, and she was also very responsive and gave us some excellent early teaser shots. -

Kristyn was easily our favorite vendor that we hired for our wedding. From our first interaction to the final product, she was incredible. We loved her energy, and she is extremely organized and communicative. Kristyn was the BEST ever! My fiancé did a surprise proposal and had Kristyn capture it all. It was literally the cutest/best thing ever. Kristyn was completely hidden, very stealth and I didn't even realize she was there until my fiancé said "Oh by the way Kristyn, our photographer, is here" and there she was, hanging out by some rose bushes capturing the moment for us. My fiancé proposed at Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring, MD and Kristyn really captured the entire vibe/feel of the place. I am so incredibly happy with how the pictures turned out. She helped pose us for the classic engagement shots and made us feel at ease. We were a bit uncomfortable since we don't get photographed by a professional very often, but Kristyn made it so it felt like we were just being us. She would give us some directions and then shoot away. I was worried that the photos would feel a little too posed, because that has been my experience in the past. This was the perfect mix of posed and allowing my fiancé and I to be natural at the same time. She was very receptive to some ideas I had for some shots I had envisioned for myself. She was great, super friendly, very professional, and made us feel truly special on one of the most special days of our lives. If you want someone who is extremely down to earth, someone who knows how to pose you without making yourself feel posed, and someone who is extremely talented in photography, BOOK KRISTYN. It will be a decision you won't regret. -

Very affordable with great quality
Kristyn took our engagement and wedding pictures. She has a great eye for detail and is very professional, but she is fun and makes you feel comfortable too. She was willing to listen to our ideas and give suggestions. We loved that we could get affordable pictures without sacrificing quality. -
