Kristina was amazing from start to finish! Beginning with the inquiry call, I was immediately impressed with her professionalism. As a bride, I loved her approach to communication and organization prior to the week of the wedding. On the day she was a fun part of our group. I was impressed with her speed and organization. Kristina did an excellent job on my bridal makeup and hair. She was willing to work with a tight schedule and made sure I loved the result. Also really love the airbrush makeup Kristina uses. It is very natural and stayed on all day in the heat! My hair also held up for 10 plus hours. Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved working with Kristina. She not only did the hair and makeup for my wedding but she did my sister in laws too. She did such an amazing job, I was more than thrilled to see the final look on the day of. Kristina did my makeup for my bestfriends wedding including the rest of the bridal party. We all looked absolutely stunning. I'm a stay at home mom of 3 ranging from 10-1 an I never get myself dolled up anymore. But this lovely lady Kristina did an absolutely AMAZING job with our makeup, we couldn't have been more flawless. I haven't felt that beautiful an glamorous in the last decade. Saving Grace and Professional
I got married this past fall. A week away from the wedding, I had no responses from my initial hairstylist after several attempts.
In a series of hidden blessings, I met Kristina at her salon when attempting to seek out my initial hairstylist. I was not under a contract with the initial hairstylist- Kristina made sure of that.
With great compassion, she listened to my concerns and took on being the hairstylist and make up artist for 10 people. This was with a week's notice & her willingness to take on a wedding during the only weekend she had taken off during prime wedding season.
She communicated with me daily and had me send wedding party's photos and hair inspiration to her. Her contract is detail oriented so that as a client you know she takes her craft seriously.
She made the day off run like a well oiled machine. Kristina took time with each lady to get to know them and produce amazing results! Her amazing quality of service was remarked about from my young niece, step daughter, bridesmaids, older sisters, mom, dad, and mother-in-law.
I now have continued to make appointments with her for routine haircuts.
Highly recommend and oh so grateful for her!

Kristina did a beautiful job with my bridesmaids and I! I never felt more beautiful! She did both my hair and make-up. I had concerns with finding a HMU artist who would be able to work with my Asian features and she knocked it out of the park! I can’t even begin to say enough about Kristina. From the very first meeting I knew I not only had one of the best wedding vendors in the business, but also knew I had just made a great friend. Kristina genuinely cares about her clients. I had quite a few obstacles while wedding planning, including having to move my date twice due to Covid. Kristina was there every step of the way. Not only is she the sweetest human being, but she is a magician! Not only did she listen to what I wanted for my hair and makeup for the big day, but she exceeded what I had hoped for. I was worried about getting my hair and makeup done professionally since I had a bad experience in the past, but Kristina definitely knows what she’s doing! She also did a fantastic job on the MoB, MoG, and all the bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing and still looked like themselves. She truly knows how to bring out your natural beauty. An incredible person and stylist!!
Kristina was PHENOMENAL. Beyond being a sweet, outgoing person and a delight to talk to, I got ENDLESS compliments on how great I looked! (That sounds like a humblebrag, but let me tell you, Kristina was magic.) As I had a three-year long engagement (thanks, Covid), I ended up visiting her a second time prior to my wedding for an additional hair and makeup trial, since I changed my mind on the look I wanted. She was accommodating and picked up on EXACTLY the look I was going for, even with my vague reference photos and less-than-helpful descriptions.
My bridal party loved her, and she knocked it out of the park with all of their looks (even though a lot of them didn't have ideas on what they wanted!).
For what it's worth, I went with a more earthy style (I believe my husband used the term "forest princess"), and some of my bridesmaids got styles that were similar, but a bit more classic and traditional. She nailed them ALL!

The BEST You Could Ask For
Kristina was absolutely the best hair and makeup artist I could have ever asked for. She is the kindest individual I have ever met! Having a destination wedding can be a bit stressful when you are trying to find vendors out-of-state, but I never thought I would find someone as amazing as Kristina, and even gain a friend out of it. She did a total of 12 hairstyles and they were perfection. All of my bridesmaids were in love with the way they looked for the wedding and I cannot even describe how much I adored my make-up and hair. I HIGHLY recommend Kristina for ANY bride that is looking for a companion to not only make your dreams come to life, but also gain a friend who will help calm your nerves and make you laugh as you get ready for your big day!

You and your whole wedding party will look beautiful!
Deciding who will do your hair and makeup on your wedding day is a big deal! Whether you typically wear a lot of makeup or not - we all want to look our best. Kristina has the skill and ability to accommodate any ask - whether it's the big smokey eye or a more natural look. I asked to be a "prettier version of myself" and she delivered :) I am not the best at looking at pictures and did not come very prepared to our first consultation, so she did an excellent job brainstorming with me and delivering excellent look that was especially mine based on a very vague idea.
She also airbrushed my husband and the best man to even out their complexions and did the hair and makeup for friends and my mother in law - everyone looked and felt beautiful! You will not regret hiring Kristina!

Kristina traveled to my venue for just my hair and makeup and 1 bridesmaids hair. She was fun and friendly and wow we looked good! My bridesmaid commented that she “had never felt prettier”. I have not one complaint. I even scheduled a hair cut with Kristina after the wedding and I love my new cut!!

We are so lucky we found Kristina
I highly recommend Kristina Overton! When we decided to downsize to a backyard elopement with about a month to the ceremony date, I figured I would never be able to find someone to do hair and makeup in such short notice. I was so immensely thankful that Kristina was so willing to help; it was just myself and my sister-in-law getting hair and makeup done, and so many artists wouldn’t even provide services unless you had at least 4 or 5 people. Kristina was so professional and communicative. I really wanted a natural look and was nervous that I was going to look overdone. Kristina was amazing and made myself and my sister-in-law look just like ourselves, just a little more glam :) Thank you, THANK YOU Kristina!

I truly cannot recommend Kristina enough for all of your hair and makeup needs. Kristina is such an incredible artist!! My bridal hair and makeup turned out so beautiful and perfect. I asked Kristina for a natural look and a low updo and let her work her magic. I had such a fresh and beautiful face that was not caked with makeup but still flawless looking. My hair and makeup stayed through the entire ceremony, pictures and dinner. Kristina is so sweet and fun to work with! Kristina was fantastic to work with. She did an amazing job with my hair and makeup as well as all my bridesmaids. I was torn between two hairstyles, so she went over both in our consultation and we adapted the hair as we went to be sure it was exactly what I wanted. Kristina was so wonderful to work with - she was flexible about my makeup trial and was happy to make adjustments afterward to be sure that my makeup was just right for me on my wedding day. She showed up extra early to do makeup for all my bridesmaids and amazing finished ahead of schedule. Everyone looked amazing in person and in photos, and she was so lovely to spend time with through the whole process. She was getting ready to get married herself at my wedding, so she definitely understands what it feels like to plan a wedding and made me feel so comfortable! Would definitely recommend!

I contacted Kristina about doing hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding. She responded very quickly to my request. She made sure we had good instructions for preparing for hair and makeup the day of the wedding. She asked for photographs of styles we were considering in advance. She came to the house we were renting the day of the wedding with all the equipment necessary to make us all look beautiful. She finished well before we need to leave for the venue. The cost was reasonable. All of us looked beautiful for the wedding! Also, the hairstyles and makeup stayed beautiful all night despite the many tears of joy! I would highly recommend Kristina! Kristina Overton is extremely gifted and has such a love for her clients! I have never had someone be almost more excited than I was about looking great for a special event. The amount of time and detail she puts into her work makes her stand out against any other stylist I’ve been to in the past, and is the number one reason why I haven’t even considered someone new in years. I never really entertained the idea of using anyone or anything the morning of my wedding besides my own shower and razor, but I'm glad I did. The morning of my wedding, I was nervous, and nursing a head cold that caused my sinuses to be completely stuffed. Kristina sat me down in a comfortable chair, placed a warm facecloth soaked in essential oils over my eyes, and started massaging my scalp. She quickly trimmed my sideburns and the back of my neck. In just a few minutes, I was relaxed, freshly trimmed and ready to get the day started. Kristina also tended to several of my groomsmen in the same way. All left looking great and feeling relaxed.

Wedding Party Hair & Makeup
Kristina is the best! I was never worried that Kristina was not on top of everything - she made wedding planning around hair and makeup so easy! My whole bridal party wanted effortless/natural glowy makeup looks and she delivered time and time again (12 times to be exact!). I also came to her a month before my wedding and asked her to completely redo my entire look... she never questioned my decisions and absolutely killed it. Kristina is the BEST if you want a no stress, talented, and kind makeup artist/hair stylist to make your day perfect. 10/10 recommend!

Great hair and makeup for the whole gang
I had Kristina come out to do hair and make up for me and my whole bridal party for my wedding. The experience was great, and we all looked so beautiful. She was very good with taking a basic idea we had and creating a beautiful look based on it. She can do so many styles from bold to refined and anything in between. It took a bit of time to get 5 girls hair and makeup done, so make sure you budget the whole morning to getting everyone ready for your big day.

Great Job.

Kristina did a great job airbrushing me and my bridesmaids. She was on time and very friendly. She also listens and makes changes if you want her to, even after she is done.

Kristina was always wonderful and friendly whenever we spoke. She checked on me several times in between the trial and wedding day, and did a fabulous job on my hair and makeup. Loved her!

Beautiful Final Product!
Kristina did an amazing job with the hair and makeup services for my mom, bridesmaids, and me for my wedding! Everyone looked absolutely fantastic and I could not have been more pleased with the final product! Although everything looked exceptional, the day of the wedding there were a few small hiccups, mostly with regard to how preoccupied she was with the flies. Flies appeared to be attracted by the hairspray and there were quite a few coming around even though we were inside. I felt incredibly bad when one bit her, however, it felt like that was where she was most focused, especially when she had to stop doing my hair and makeup several times to say something about it or put down hair and makeup applicators to swat them away. Regardless of this, the final product was more than I could have hoped for! It was just the process that felt a little more stressful during the day.

Good work, but not accommodating
Myself and 4 other women in my wedding party had signed up for hair services. I had sent over a timeline scheduled for when hair would be done and Kristina suggested it be MUCH sooner than I originally planned, but she was the professional so I agreed. Everything was on track until my FMIL was running about 20 minutes late because of a cake mishap. I then came to find out that Kristina booked 2 weddings on the same day, mine being the first. She told me that she had to leave by 1:30 (original time time went until 3). My FMIL finally arrived at 1:20 and she did do her hair, but refused to put any heat on it and just used her natural curls because she needed to go. Then charged her the full $75 for something that took 5 minutes. I was definitely upset finding out my wedding was not a priority to her that day and felt rushed through the entire time. If I knew that she intended to book 2 weddings the same day I would not have hired this vendor. Overall, I did like my hairstyle after a few tweaks, but wouldn’t recommend if you want to feel prioritized on your wedding day.
