Kristina did an intimate couples session for us on our wedding day. Our wedding was very casual, but we wanted to be sure to capture some photos of us together on this day. We couldn't be happier with our photos - Kristina really listened to what we wanted, and was so responsive through the whole process.

Kristina is amazing! She did our engagement photos in 2010, and most recently our wedding photos in October 2014. We just got the wedding photos back and are thrilled!
She is so easy to work with and a pleasure to be around! Her organization day of put me at ease. She was such a pro, that I barely remember seeing her during the ceremony or reception! We will definitely be going to Kristina for all of our future photo needs!

How many ways can I praise Kristina?? When choosing a wedding photographer as an out of state couple, we had many hesitations about making the trip up to Portland for meetings and photo shoots. Kristina met with us on a weekend to show us her work (she also bought us delicious muffins, an added bonus!). For our engagement session she squeezed us in on the only day that would work in our schedules and the rainy weather to capture incredible moments between my now husband and I. During the next few months, Kristina expertly helped guide us in organizing our formal photos and even in the other details, such as how much time did we actually need for dinner. When she arrived on the wedding day it was a relief to see her, as it was like seeing an old friend. Everyone, especially the Bridal party and our parents, spoke so highly of her, particularly her calm organization and efficiency. We finished formal photos in record time and still had over half of cocktail hour to enjoy with our guests. She picked out the most beautiful places to take photos and a variety of different backgrounds. She was open and honest when she thought something wouldn't look great and was willing to try new things when we felt strongly about them. Having Kristina as your photographer is like having a photographer, wedding coordinator and friend by your side. She had teaser photos posted to her blog and Facebook early the next morning, and we were showing them to our guests at our goodbye brunch. They are stunning and I cannot wait to see the rest!! I enthusiastically recommend Kristina at the highest level and cannot wait to work with her again for some family portraits (when we get to that point).

Kristina was wonderful to work with! She took the time to get to know us and really listened to our ideas/vision. She is has a great eye and captured so many precious moments. We ended up with fantastic pictures of our special day and would highly recommend working with her.

We cannot thank Kristina enough for the amazing job she did for our wedding! I recognize this review is quite lengthly but want to make sure to capture our experience. This was a destination wedding for us and we were nervous about booking vendors from far away. Our friends booked Kristina for their wedding a month before ours -- and we could tell after our first call with Kristina just why they referred her to us! Kristina was genuinely interested in learning more about us from the start, and we trusted that she had our interests at heart. We had a few unique family circumstances that prevented some of the more "traditional" wedding events/pictures, and she found ways to truly capture special moments that were so meaningful.

Kristina was extremely prepared and professional, and she asked questions we hadn't thought about which helped us better prepare for the event. She was quick to respond to any and all questions leading up to the wedding, and on the day of she helped keep us in line with timing but was very flexible when things changed. She was also very personable with our other vendors and guests. Two of our guests asked us how long we had been friends with Kristina, which I think shows how she can truly connect with her clients.

Before the excitement could wear off, Kristina already had "teasers" posted to her media sites, and was quick to get our proofs to us. The quality of her work was simply amazing, and exceeded our expectations. She also worked with me on my many questions after the event. Also, one of our guests began his military deployment overseas a few days after our wedding, and Kristina so kindly went the extra mile by sending him a few pictures of our time together as a surprise.

Kristina was fantastic to work with! We had our engagement and wedding day photos done by Kristina and couldn't be happier with how they turned out. We were able to communicate with her by phone or email multiple times to discuss ideas, shots we wanted, and the plan for the day and she was able to give insight into past weddings, what works and what does not in terms of being able to get a great shot, what she would like from us to help her get the photos we wanted. We got a TON of photos from both events and were able to pick out a few favorites to frame or mount on a canvas - they are gorgeous! What a great way to remember an incredible day!

Kristina is extremely professional, responsive, and personable. We had our engagement photos taken as well and were so happy with both those and our wedding photos, she even got some great shots with our dog. She captured everything we wanted at our wedding (and more!) and we received numerous compliments from our guests on how professional she was and what great pictures she took. I would definitely recommend Kristina- and I did- our friends also booked their wedding with her!

Kristina was absolutely wonderful to work with from the first phone call through getting all of our photos. Planning a wedding from 1,000 miles away and being unable to meet vendors face to face prior to our wedding day was challenging at times but Kristina was so easy to work with and quick to respond to my e-mails and schedule phone meetings to go over details. The first time I met Kristina was when she knocked on my hotel room door the morning of the wedding and jumped right in and made me feel comfortable and captured some incredible photos. She was flexible and required very little direction from us on the day of as she asked the right questions before our wedding so she was prepared. Other than for formal photos, we hardly noticed she was there (our guests said the same) but looking at our photos she must have been running around like crazy to get some many great shots from multiple angles especially during our ceremony. I was worried with only 1 photographer we'd either miss my expressions or my husbands but she managed to get plenty of shots of both of us, our wedding party, others involved in the ceremony, and our guests all without us having any idea she was running from spot to spot. We couldn't be more pleased with how easy Kristina was to work with, the quality of her photos, and how quickly she was able to deliver the final product. I have friends who didn't see pro pictures for several months but we had a sneak peak posted when we woke up the day after our wedding, more teasers in a few days, and all of our files in well less than a month. Incredible!

The one thing I wanted when I became a bride was my wedding photos to reflect so much emotion that strangers who were viewing them could cry with us, laugh with us and feel as though they were our life long friends and were sharing in our wedding day fun as well. Kristina hit this nail directly on the head! We could not be more happy or amazed with our wedding photos, the are simply breathtaking and leave us speechless every time we look at them!

I think with any wedding vendor you need to make a connection, when I met Kristina in 2012 at a friend's wedding, I felt like we had been friends forever and were reunited. We laughed, cried, and just had a blast with her! We are so happy that she took our photos, they are exactly what I had imagined. We were able to tell her what we wanted, she was flexible but also not afraid to put in her professional opinion- and we never saw her take pictures because she was never in the same sport, but have these amazing images that reflect all the emotions of the day!

I would recommend Kristina O'Brien Photography until I become blue in the face! She is just the best :)

My husband and I gave her all fives for a reason, she is absolutely amazing. We knew that she was the right fit from day one, she makes you feel completely comfortable, and is willing to help in anyway possible. We had a small wedding, but she was able to take more pictures then we could ever imagine! The quality of the shots were beautiful, and we don't feel like we got the same looking picture twice. She also took pictures of all the small details, which we are thankful for because the day flew by!

She made all our guest feel comfortable, and no one felt as though they were posed. Also out of all the pictures our guest took, she has only popped up in two of them total!! Very, very sneaky!!

In closing we look forward to having Kristina take pictures of our future family. We both highly recommend Kristina to anyone looking for photos that will capture the memories you want to remember for a lifetime.

It may seem insane that Kristina is rated “5” throughout all these pages. I promise she didn't bribe me to say how absolutely incredible she is as a photographer and person! She is just that passionate about her work and getting to know her clients.

When reflecting with my husband about this review we were thinking of how comfortable she made us throughout the entire process. When consulting with us she sparked an excitement for our wedding plans. Along the planning process consultations can be stressful. Kristina’s consults and emails were completely opposite of stressful. Fun, enthusiastic, prompt, and consoling.

I highly recommend to do an engagement session. Especially if you are not used to taking pictures. Kristina made us laugh so hard and put me at ease with my posture and awkwardness. She ALWAYS took our suggestions with enthusiasm and made sure we had every picture we wanted.

During the day Kristina was comparable to a ninja. She blended in so well to the atmosphere and was respectful of our most sensitive moments. Kristina understands her clients excitement to see the pictures. Before the end of the day she put a couple teasers on the blog that made Josh and I SO excited for the rest.

I had offhandedly mentioned at the reception getting a picture of all the guests at our event (150 people). She sprung right into action and found a massive ladder. Climbed up with her two camera’s and organized the entire group. It’s been 2 weeks since our big day and people constantly are in awe of our pictures. If you are hesitating, stop, and know that this is the right decision for you. I hope this review finds you well, and your wedding planning be the best time of your life.

Kristina was amazing in every way. Her style was easy going, making everyone comfortable but at the same time very professional and she was great about getting us all positioned for the perfect shots. We knew we would love the photos when we received them but they far exceeded our expectations. It is a true gift to have such lasting images from a day that was so special and that flew by SO fast. Kristina is warm and energetic and I truly cannot see a single shot that she missed. She is an amazingly good deal and my husband and I have already agreed that we will be brinigng her back for annual photo shoots of our family.

Kristina was recomended to me by a friend. After checking out her blog and enjoying her work I reached out to her to chat. After a short "get to know you" conversation I knew I needed to look no further. Asking Kristina to document our wedding was a very easy decision. I didn't even LOOK at any other blogs--no need to re-create the wheel, I knew this would be a good fit. On our actual wedding day Kristina was able to sense when I was stressed (right before heading to the church!) and helped me calm down a bit. She really is just a great person to be around!

The day after the wedding many guests raved about how great our photographer was and now that the photos have come in, the compliments continue! I would recommend Kristina without hesitation to any bride--or really anyone that wants photos taken. Her family sessions also look so fun on her blog!

Our wedding on May 11, 2013, was absolutely PERFECT, even with the sudden downpour during our outdoor ceremony! It wouldn't have been nearly as memorable without our the amazing photographer, Kristina O'Brien!! We first worked with her on our engagement photo's which came out incredible, she then put together Save The Dates for us with those engagement pictures! We couldn't have picked a better person to have photograph our wedding!! She was professional, fun, organized and flexible! Even when we had our outdoor ceremony and is starting pouring, she still captured the moment without missing a beat! She used her creativity to create great ideas for our formal pictures and never appeared stressed with the situation! She really worked to express the personalities of both Will and myself in the styles, settings and pictures she took! She listed to all of our ideas and attempted to incorporate them whenever possible! Everyone is still talking about how great she was throughout the whole reception!! Kristina was warm, personable, and as a nervous bride who didn't think she knew anything, listened and provided any advice/information I needed. She got to know us over the year leading up to the wedding and was like a close friend instead of a faceless vendor.

I knew from our engagement session that our photos would be spectacular and they were. She took all the shots we asked for and had so many creative ideas of her own - things we never thought of but were thrilled with. My photos look like something out of a magazine and I'm thrilled with how I look (which considering I'm a camera-phobe is the icing on the cake). I would never hesitate to recommend Kristina to anyone looking for a photographer and I hope we can use her again.

My husband and I were so pleased with Kristina O’Brien Photography! We were so excited to book her that she was the first vendor we contacted right after we were engaged. She did an engagement session for us as well as our wedding. From start to finish Kristina’s professionalism, responsiveness and talent were unparalleled. Our personalities clicked immediately, which was so helpful for me considering I’m not super comfortable in front of a camera. She put us both at ease and really captured our personalities and love in all of our photographs. On our wedding day she was amazing, from helping me to plan our photo timeline for the day, to being everywhere we needed her to be, to setting us up in the most fun poses, she was fantastic. She was so accommodating that day and helped to take a lot of my stress away. We couldn't have asked for anyone better and our photos are truly more than we could have dreamed of.

I cannot speak highly enough of Kristina O'Brien. Every bride wants beautiful photos of their big day at a reasonable price. You get this with Kristina, but you get so much more. Firstly, she is incredibly personable - someone who you'd want as a friend. She is organised. Very prompt with emails- which was a huge help to me when planning a wedding from Australia. She even tooky time to skype with us ahead of our day. I as immediately at ease upon meeting her. This girl is so much FUN. Our wedding planner said she was one of the best photographers she has even seen in terms of her manner; and I could not have hoped for someone with a better vibe on the day - relaxed; easy going; willing to do whatever we wanted; barely noticeable during the ceremony and key dances, yet managed to capture all the key moments beautifully. Our wedding was outdoors and I have had so many people comment to me on the vibrancy of the colours in our photos. She has a great ability to capture beautiful little moments and detaisl. I will use Kristina again and again when we return to the States. She is such a pleasure to work with. And, all this for very, very reasonable and competitive prices. Wish I could give her a better rating than 5 out of 5 because she deserves it. - Laura

I wish there were more stars to give Kristina. I can't say enough about her quality, flexibility, enthusiasm, kindness, and above all, amazing pictures!!! She is, dollar for dollar, the best wedding photographer in the Maine/New Hampshire area. Seriously people, scoop her up now because there's no way her availability will last long--SHE IS AMAZING!!!

Kristina took our engagement pictures and we are so in love with all of the beautiful pictures! When our guests talk about our wedding we hear about how much fun they had, how beautiful everything was, and we hear about our photographer, Kristina. She was extreamly professional, funny, calming, and SO incredibly passionate and excited about her work and her role in our day. Her picutres are beautiful and she captured all the emotions and excitment throughout the day, working with our huge wedding party and all of our guests. We now have close to 1000 pictures and are able to relive our wedding day each time we look at them. I would highly reocommend Kristina O'Brien Photographer in the future, and know we will be using her again!

Kristina was an all-star vendor. She was always easy to get in touch with from the moment we sent her our first email. She was also very enthusiastic about working with us. We really enjoyed getting to know her when she took our engagement photos, and by the time we got married we felt like we had a friend photographing us. Our family and friends loved her, too. Our photos are absolutely stunning, and we could not be happier with her work. Plus, she is a real steal. We feel very lucky to have found her, and we would recommend her to all of our family and friends!
