I can't say enough great things about Kristin. From when I was first communicating with her through to my wedding day, she was absolutely fabulous. She promptly replied to inquiries and was so personable. When it came time for my trial, I had general ideas and pictures for what I liked, and she created a look that was better than anything I could think of myself. She did a wonderful job with hair and makeup for me and my sister, makeup for my maid of honor, and hair for my mother. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and the hair and makeup lasted all day. Not to mention that she's just such a fun person to be around!

Loved my hair and makeup

As someone who doesn’t wear makeup regularly I was nervous about it for my wedding. I also have very thick hair that can be a lot to style. I’m so glad I found Kristin! She responded quickly and was so easy to work with. She arrived early on our wedding day and kept us on time and even ended a little early. She made my makeup very natural looking and I absolutely loved my hair. I’m so happy we found her!

Kristin was a dream to work with, from start to finish. She was prompt to reach out to me after I inquired about her services via her website and she gave me detailed answers to every little question that I had! In every interaction with Kristin, she made me feel like the most special bride she's ever worked with. She was so personable and knowledgeable and I felt confident and comfortable in her hands!

She kept in contact with me throughout the year long engagement and made scheduling the trial makeup/hair day a breeze. The trial went perfectly and I have never felt more beautiful. Not only did she do my hair and makeup perfectly, but we chatted the whole trial and she truly made me feel so comfortable.

On the day of the wedding, she arrived early and ready to get to work! She brought such a wonderful energy and I was able to relax knowing that Kristin was going to get me ready to walk down the aisle. Amazing experience

SUPER HAPPY with Kristin's work!!! I used Kristin as the makeup artist for my wedding and the final product was gorgeous! I felt confident, beautiful, and my look lasted all night (which is of course, super important).
Even the trial was so much fun! Kristin has a great sense of humor and makes it a very enjoyable experience. She works with you and communicates well to get you to your goal look.

From my first email with Kristin I knew she was who I wanted to work with. She is informative and professional as well as personable and comforting. Planning a wedding during Covid wasn't easy but it seemed nothing tripped her up. She was incredibly willing to work with me and what seemed to be my ever changing plans, never once making me feel like I was bothersome. She stayed in touch throughout the entire planning process and promptly answered any questions I had no matter how random or off the wall. She even helped me with a timeline when I wasn't sure how to handle one and hadn't heard back from a different vendor!

Day of: ***I used one of Kristin's associates (who I've worked with previously) for my own hair and makeup***
Kristin and her team made every single one of my bridesmaids feel incredible. My Maid of Honor had never had professional makeup done and was very uncomfortable at the idea, well Kristin handled that with ease. I must have heard my MOH say 10 times or more "I just wish I could do this every day". As a bride there is no better feeling than knowing your closest people are being taken care of and Kristin nails that. The team was so incredibly timely that we ended with enough extra time to actually eat and be ready for our bus. In these weird Covid times, Kristin made sure we all felt safe and comfortable in a the intimate setting that is hair and makeup. Not to mention, I don't think I've ever seen such a clean and organized set up!

I truly feel so grateful to have had Kristin and her team there on my big day. They made everyone feel so beautiful and confident and the whole experience was STRESS FREE. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone planning a special event or just wanting to get dolled up!

So talented and collaborative - amazing experience

From her very first email, Kristin totally put me at ease about her passion for beauty and finding the perfect look for my wedding day. Her website is super easy to navigate with upfront information about your investment. She worked with me over email for several months and provided expert advice on hair extensions (my maid of honor could not get over the perfect color match), selecting a unique hair piece, and overall guiding me through every detail to achieve my requested "not bridal" look. We did a full 2.5 hour trial to develop a roadmap for the day and her finished work was amazing. Kristin was also a wonderful presence on the morning we got ready especially since I had a smaller bridal party and her conversation definitely kept our mood light and stress-free. Kristin absolutely knows how to highlight your personal features, bring the glam, while making sure you still feel like your beautiful self!!!

Amazing HMUA!

I loved working with Kristin and her team! Initially, my husband and I weren't planning on splurging on hair and makeup for the wedding, but after our wedding date was moved due to COVID, we were able to adjust the budget slightly. I'm so glad that 1. We decided to pay for hair and makeup and 2. We decided to go with Kristin.

Not only was her work gorgeous and just the style I was looking for, she also is so down to earth and easy to talk to! She was immensely responsive and helpful during the planning process - not to mention super positive the whole time.

Kristin was able to take my vision and bring it to life in the trial and executed it even more flawlessly for the wedding itself. She and her team killed it with the timeline the morning of, as well, with 5 bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, the mother of the groom, and myself all getting hair and makeup done.

Kristin is the best!!!!

I initially met Kristin when she did my hair and makeup for a photo shoot. After talking to her for a few minutes, I just felt like we clicked! She is such a free-spirit and so fun to be around. I'm so amazed by her talent--she seemed to be doing things on the fly and somehow was just making magic happen. She made me feel like a true princess and the pictures from the shoot turned out so amazing.
When my fiancé and I realized we wanted to get married sooner than later, I knew I wanted Kristin to do my hair and makeup. But with less than 2 months’ notice, I held my breath and sent an inquiry to Kristin. The rain dance I did to the hair and makeup gods worked—Kristin responded saying It was her only available day left in April!!
Kristin is very responsive and organized. She sent over a timeline and prep tips for the wedding prep.
I was a nervous wreck the morning of my wedding, but Kristin kept me at ease! My girlfriends and I loved getting ready with Kristin and Kayla (hair stylist that Kristin brought with her). They are super fun and made everyone feel special and beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with the results!
I am so thankful and lucky that Kristin was there to help make my wedding day be the most magical day! I cannot recommend her enough!

Kristin was very responsive to all of my questions and a joy to talk to. She did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. I changed my mind on my hair the day of the wedding and she just rolled with it and made it look amazing. We tweaked how we wanted my makeup and I don’t regret going “full sultry!” It looked amazing in photos and she did an amazing job. All of our bridal party and my Mom also looked so amazing. I haven’t seen my mom as beautiful as she was in a long time. My Dad was smiling on her beauty from heaven!

The only thing I would change is that I wish that for my makeup trial we had actually put fake eyelashes on so that I could see how it would look with my makeup.

I would 100% recommend working with Kristin and would HAPPILY have her do my hair/makeup again.

Where do I even begin...this girl is AMAZING! Not only is she a blast to be around and talk to but her talent speaks for itself. From booking her, to the day of the wedding she was fantastic. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was no easy task and she was so flexible and patient with me through the entire process. I felt beautiful and confident on my wedding day

Kristin did mine and my mom's makeup for my wedding day. Kristin and I got along right away, and I can imagine that she gets along with all of her clients this well. She listened to what I wanted and even made a bunch of last minute changes when I asked her to. She was punctual and fun to talk to and, most importantly, she did a fantastic job with our makeup. I can only give 5 stars on this platform, but if I could give Kirstin 10 stars, I would. I've never had my makeup done professionally (in fact, I virtually never wear it) so I had no idea what to expect when hiring someone for my wedding - but wow, am I glad I found Kristin. I hired to do wedding hair and makeup + a trial, and the rest of her reviews don't lie: She is an utter professional. Without much guidance from me, she knew exactly what to do to give me a simple, natural, and classic look. She even worked with me to land my trial on the morning of another friend's wedding so I didn't have to let my trial look go to waste. She is incredibly fun and easy to be around, a wonderful communicator, and most importantly, she was gracious, kind, and flexible while our wedding plans kept changing this year due to COVID. Like many couples, we switched gears from a 150-person wedding to an elopement, which involved a date change and a reduction in the size of our contract, and she took it all in stride. To boot, she was somehow able to do my hair and makeup in a way that didn't look out of place on a windy, 3,000-ft mountain peak in Shenandoah. Kristin is also taking COVID precautions very seriously, which is so important when you are spending time indoors and in such close quarters with someone. Lastly, there's no question in my mind that she's just the coolest gal in the business. I basically can't wait until I have another excuse to hire her again. So trust me, and trust all of Kristin's other reviews: If you're looking for a badass makeup artist (and she truly is an artist) to give you a classic and timeless look for your wedding or any other important event, hire her immediately.

Love kristin!

Always love working with Kristin. I have done photoshoots with her before (I as the model and her as the makeup artist) and always loved her work. When I was considering who to hire for our wedding, my mind always came back to her. She is a super cool person and can make anyone look like supermodel/princess. My bridesmaids loved their makeup and so did I! We really liked the hair and makeup schedule she sent us to prepare for the day. She also did a great job of being mindful of COVID precautions - she (and Charlie the hairstylist she brought) both wore facemasks and had us fill out a form to make sure we weren't putting them / and they weren't putting us at risk. My bridesmaids and I wore masks the entire time (except for foundation and lip). Thank-you Kristin & Charlie for making me & my bridesmaids (& my Mom!) look fabulous on my wedding day!!!!

Kristin is an outgoing, free spirited, positive vibes, and overall a great person to have on your wedding day. Her professionalism and make up quality is the best I’ve ever seen. Best Makeup artist! Look no further!

I first met Kristin in 2016 when she did the makeup for my sister's wedding and absolutely loved the outcome. So when it was my turn to get married I knew right away that I would contact Kristin and hope she was available for my big day. Fortunately she was and I couldn't have been happier. She was so accommodating for my trial (even when I had to make rearrangements last minute). When the big day came I was in no fear that Kristin would make my bridal party and I look our absolute best. She is so fun to be around and can really go for any look that you desire. I wish Kristin could do my hair and makeup everyday!!

Kristin was an absolutely vital part of my wedding day! I am a wedding photographer and I knew that I needed a professional who knew how to apply the makeup for photos. She showed up early, got right to work, and was very professional and fun to talk to. My hair and makeup looked flawless all day long, even through all the happy tears I cried! After the first look with my husband, I asked him if my makeup looked okay, and he said it still looked perfect! Kristin did an incredible job keeping me looking like myself, but enhanced and giving it an extra pop for the photos. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Kristin is an artist--not only a literal makeup artist, but I learned she is a fan of the arts and a for real creative! She is SUPER versatile in a sense that any type of bride would be thrilled with their look--the boho bride, the edgy/rockstar bride, the classic bride, etc. She isn't scared to make suggestions or just come up with fun ideas worthy of only a bride. Not only is she simply professional, but she felt like part of the crew immediately, starting from the initial emailing process! What can I say, Kristin is simply THE best. I worked with her for both my bridal trial and my wedding day. From the very beginning, Kristin was responsive, organized, and open to hearing my ideas. Not to mention, she really did help me feel at ease during the trial and the day of the wedding.

I found Kristin because I made a FB post asking for MUA's. Her name was recommended 4+ times... so I immediately contacted her. From the very beginning, I knew she was the one! Kristin is a dream to work with!

I was having such a hard time finding someone who didn't require a minimum amount of people to work on, as my wedding was very small, and someone who didn't charge a fortune for services PLUS a trial. I finally stumbled upon Kristin via a wedding photographers instagram and loved her work - I was praying she'd be able to accommodate me. She was so responsive to every email, and so flexible when it came to scheduling a trial and day of.

She was a blast to have around the morning of my wedding - my mom, MOH, and I all chatted with her like we were old friends. With Hurricane Florence in the air, we had to make a game time decision and change up my hair from the trial, but she had no problems creating something that I loved. I rarely ever wear make up, and sometimes when I get it done it can feel way too much, but Kristin did an amazing job making me look and feel exactly like myself (just more glamorous!) My mom and MOH were thrilled with their hair and make up also.

I truly loved working with her and am trying to come up with reasons to hire her in the future!!

Kristin is the best! She got up at 3 am to do my makeup for a modeling job and it lasted all day through heat and humidity and still looked amazing when I got back to my hotel that night. I had a specific idea of the makeup look I needed that day, and she nailed the exact look I was going for! She is so great at listening to what you want (or don't want) and unbelievably talented when it comes to doing makeup. She is also so sweet and easy to talk to - she made getting ready at 4 am into such a fun experience. I was so happy with how my makeup turned out and got so many compliments on it. I will definitely reach out to Kristin again if I'm ever in the area (or surrounding areas) and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a great makeup artist. I'm so glad I found her - couldn't have asked for a better person to do my makeup ❤️

Kristin is an amazing makeup/hairstylist...I was very lucky that she had a cancellation in her schedule and was able to help get me gorgeous for the wedding that I was in. She listened to my preferences in makeup/hair and even convinced me to try a new shade of lipstick (not an easy task) that was an absolute hit. I was complimented all night on both my hair and makeup and I have Kristen to thank for that. She was easy to talk to and made the experience fun and not uncomfortable. Kristin was absolutely amazing from start to finish! She did both my hair and makeup and makeup for my bridesmaids and moms. She was super responsive to my millions of questions and even sent me a whole skin care regimen to follow leading up to my wedding. On the day of my wedding, it was 95 degrees and we planned to take pictures outside before the ceremony. My makeup and my bridesmaids’ makeup lasted through all the pictures and throughout the ceremony. Everyone looked beautiful and I can’t recommend Kristin enough for both hair and makeup. Kristin and her team are the best. She quickly became one of my favorite vendors to work with and made the morning of my wedding SO fun and stress-free. All of my bridesmaids raved about her work (as well as the work of Charlie and Kayla, the two artists she brought with her). I always appreciated as much detail as possible in correspondence (as a bride, you don't know what you don't know!!), and so Kristin's detailed explanations were always appreciated. You can tell she spends a lot of time making sure that her clients are comfortable and happy. If you are like me, you probably have been tirelessly searching all wedding review sites for a makeup artist. Well, you need to stop searching and immediately email Kristin. There are no words to describe her except for simply AMAZING. From the moment I received her response to my inquiry, I was sold based on her funny and responsive email; it was as though we were long lost friends catching up. From the communications to the trial, and finally to the big day it was all so easy.
Now for the big day, she arrived early and had everything set up ready to go. All my girls loved the way they looked, and we all had so much fun talking and joking around with her. For me, I honestly have never felt so great about how I looked – which is precisely how you want to feel like on your wedding day. I mean every girl wants to hear they look stunning!!! My makeup stayed on all day and looked just as good at the end of the night as it did when she first finished.
Outside of her technical skills, she is the most genuine, caring, and fun person you will ever meet. You cannot go wrong hiring Kristin. It was easily one of the best decisions I made for the wedding.

I am so happy I got to work with Kristin! Makeup is one of my passions and something that I was VERY adamant on ensuring was perfect for my special day. I had a negative experience with a vendor before I found Kristin, so I was a little concerned about finding someone that I would be happy with, especially because I've never had my makeup done and be happy with it before. Kristin put all of my nerves at ease and even just shooting emails back and forth with her was so comforting from the start. When we ended up doing the trial I knew i was in good hands. She did an AMAZING job at bringing my vision to life and she used reputable products that did not budge all day. She also did my hair and did a fantastic job with that. I was immediately super happy that I found her. Fast forward to my wedding day and she did a PHENOMENAL job. All of my bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning, and she was really great with the bridesmaids who don't wear makeup a lot, and with those that do. When it came time to do mine, she did the best job and I felt so pretty all night!! The makeup did not budge at all, and I didn't have to do any touch ups all night and I still looked great all night. I would highly recommend hiring Kristin, you will not be disappointed!

Kristin made me feel like queen on my wedding day. When I reached out to her she responded within a day. I got busy with planning and ended up booking last minute and she graciously worked me into her schedule. I love that she came to me to do the trial and was onsite for the wedding as well. I let her talk me into doing gold leaf eyeliner and a deep red lip and it was the best decision ever. Kristin is hilarious and fun and SO good at what she does. I initially booked Kristen for my wedding in 2016, but then had to push the wedding back a year. She was totally flexible with the date changes and kept all the paperwork and everything completely organized. She was fair priced and willing to do whatever was needed of her. She did about 8 in my wedding party (including myself, hair and makeup) and everyone looked GORGEOUS! We had a few girls change their mind and ask Kristen if she could fit them in even though they didn't initally plan to get any services done with her. She was extremely accommodating and kept everything (and everyone) on our original timeline. She is very personable and professional! Would recommend her services to anyone!!! Kristin was absolutely amazing. I would recommend her to anyone. Kristin did my hair and my bridesmaids hair. By the end of the day it was as if she was a part of the family. She offered to drive my bridesmaids to the venue so they didn't have to take a taxi and even did arts and crafts with me when my flower crown wasn't what I expected it to be. She helped me steam my veil and provided me with some much needed sanity when I was freaking out a little before the ceremony. Kristin even offered my MUA false eyelashes when I complained that the ones she had given me for a trial were very heavy. These lashes were fantastic and very light. It didn't feel like I was wearing any at all. As a potential buyer inquiring about Kristin's services you might be thinking hmmm Kristin is kind of pricy, but in my opinion, she was worth every penny because she goes above and beyond what is expected of her. When working through the wedding planning process, finding a makeup artist was something I struggled with. I don’t do my own makeup very well, and had absolutely NO idea what to look for. I had little to no idea what I wanted my makeup to look like on my wedding day (other than a red lip), and wasn’t sure where to begin my search for the perfect makeup artist. After lots of Instagram searching, I came across Kristin. Her work seemed incredible, and so I reached out. From our first conversation to set up a trial to the very end of my wedding prep, Kristin was amazing. We instantly hit it off, and I can truly say she is one of the people who made my special day extra memorable. On wedding day, Kristin arrived bright and early to set up, and kept all of us girls laughing the entire day. Something to note: she is incredibly meticulous. From setup to cleanup, there is not a single detail that isn’t well planned. She is incredible! She made sure everyone looked absolutely stunning, and truly wanted each girl to be comfortable and happy with the finished product. I was not 100% sure what I wanted, and she put together a more perfect look than I could have hoped for. From the time she arrived to the time she calmed me down when I was starting to feel the nerves set in, she truly felt like one of the girls on my wedding day! I loved how Kristin did my make-up! From the get go she was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She knew the look I was going for. I wanted to look beautiful and for you to tell I had makeup on but not too overdone or exaggerated. I had an early morning ceremony (Cambodian) and then an evening ceremony (American) and she was very accommodating with having to come over twice. She showed up right on time and ready to go. My makeup didn't feel heavy at all or made my skin feel tight. It stayed on all night. She uses really good products. I loved it :) Thank you Kristin!

I don't even know where to start with Kristin! First, she was so responsive when emailing back and forth and made me feel super comfortable from the beginning. Second, she was an absolute ball of joy even though she had to get to our location at 6 am :-). All of the girls kept raving about her and we all felt so beautiful the day of my wedding. I was impressed by Kristin's professionalism and she really does make you feel at ease during the trial and on the wedding day. I cannot express how grateful I am that Kristin was my makeup artist and hair stylist. It was extremely difficult to find someone who was willing to help with my small elopement wedding and she had no problem that I was her only girl to style. As a person who doesn't wear makeup normally, Kristin made me look my absolute best self! She helped me go a bit bolder with the lip stick and eyebrows which totally made the perfect look for my bridal portraits! My hair was perfection! Kristin was incredible. I work with a lot of makeup artists in my line of work, and she was the first one I thought of to hire for my most important day- my wedding! Thankfully she made herself available for me! A consummate professional, she got to my house before 5am, and worked for hours on me and my bridal party until we were perfectly polished, coifed, and made up, and ready in time for our morning ceremony. Kristin was fantastic and we are so incredibly grateful that she was available for our rescheduled wedding! Our original wedding was canceled by Hurricane Matthew 5 weeks prior, so we were definitely in need of someone who could do a hair and makeup trial and help figure out the timeline of the big day quickly! She made time to do a hair and makeup trial with me on a Wednesday night at my friend's apartment and was there for hours making sure my hair and makeup would look exactly as I pictures. Then, she and her assistant were at our venue at 8 am on time and in good spirits ready to make 7 women look fabulous and have everyone done by 12.30pm for photos. Despite the early start and so many women, Kristin and her assistant made every single woman look and feel absolutely AMAZING--whether it was their hair or makeup they got done. Even better, Kristin made my mom (who typically doesn't wear makeup) feel just as wonderful as I felt by keeping her makeup very light and natural-looking. I felt beautiful and got so many compliments on the wedding day about the makeup and hair--it was just what any bride would want! I also liked that her services were all-inclusive, and there were no surprise extras (like extra $$ for fake lashes, or a hair and makeup trial). On top of all that, I and my husband really liked the lipstick she used and Kristin went out of her way to find the color for me online (sold out in some stores), so I could have my "signature lip" whenever I want! :) She's a fun, personable makeup artist and I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or wanting to look good for a big event!

Not only is she extremely talented but she is also so professional and she put me at ease the entire morning. She made myself, my mother, and my bridesmaids all look gorgeous...and it lasted for longer than 12 hours without even a retouch! Brides, you need Kristin on your wedding day!

There is not one thing I regret about hiring Kristin to make me beautiful on my wedding day. From our first meeting, I knew we had chosen the right person for the job. She was always very responsive to my emails (and there were MANY). On the day of the wedding, she went way above and beyond. She not only made me gorgeous (hair and makeup was absolutely flawless), but kept me calm and laughing and that meant SO much to me. There is no way I can ever thank her enough for all she did.

Kristin hands down, made my wedding morning everything I dreamed of it being. She immediately puts you at ease the second she walks in the door- (even if it is 6am). It's very rare to find an artist that can give you everything you wanted, and everything didn't know you wanted. She is extremely patient, for the picky girls in my group, and to say you made nine girls all fan girl over their makeup is just the best. Kristin's bedside (chairside?) manor makes you feel like you are just catching up with an old friend you haven't seen in a while. My mom already has her on our holiday party invitation list- THAT should speak for itself. We absolutely will be using her for all future events. I had so much fun working with Kristen! I was excited to find out she was available for our wedding date and did not hesitate to book with her. Based on her portfolio, I knew she would be able to meet my expectations and she did just that. We had many compliments on how good our make up looked throughout the night. It lasted well into the night and even on a very hot August day, everything looked exactly the same as it did when she finished. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

First off, let me say that Kristin was absolutely AMAZING!! From our first email exchange she was extremely responsive and so flexible to work with. Her demeanor is that of a friend who you haven't spoken with in a while- always so happy to hear from you which made her so easy to work with. After our first initial meeting I was completely at ease with choosing her as my hair and makeup artist. I pretty much wear a full face of make up every day, and explained to Kristin that I wanted to look glam but not look over done for the day of my wedding. At my hair and makeup trial she took her time making sure I was happy with everything, and the whole time we chatted and laughed like we were old friends.

Weeks before my wedding I had a hair extension crisis. My hair stylist scared me out of purchasing hair extensions online (Kristin referred me to Bellami hair, which are amazing btw) and told me to go to Sally's to purchase them. I ended up getting the wrong color, and had to expedite my extensions from Bellami. Kristin held my hand throughout the entire process and was so proactive in helping with my crisis.

The day of the wedding had an early start with the first girls in the hair and makeup chair at 7am. Kristin and her hair guru, Charlie, were there at 6:30am setting everything up and had the best attitude ( I have no idea how they were so peppy at 6:30am but they were). She was extremely organized and stuck to the schedule, with a hard stop at 1pm as we had to do all of our pictures before our 4pm ceremony.

From our initial email exchange of what I wanted to now, Kristin gave me exactly what I asked for. I was glam but not over done and felt like the best version of myself. She is an amazing makeup and hair artist and I would choose her again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her!

I can't say enough great things about Kristin. She was seriously a miracle. I was originally planning on saving money and doing my own makeup for the big day, but one of my bridesmaids suggested taking the stress off myself by hiring a makeup artist. With my wedding about a month away, I was having difficulty finding someone who was affordable and still available. I was given Kristin's information through a friend of a friend, and she couldn't have been more perfect.

She responded so quickly to every email, and even made suggestions along the way. She also worked quickly to fit me in for a trial. Not only was she professional and prompt, but she is totally a girl's girl. When we met, it was like we'd already known each other. She makes you feel so comfortable, and she doesn't just care about your makeup. She likes to get to know you and talk about the wedding.

I would totally recommend her services to anyone looking for makeup on any occasion. She made me look and feel so beautiful on my big day!

When I was searching for a makeup artist, I found many salons required certain number of bridesmaids in order to book them for a Saturday wedding. I knew I couldn't meet those requirements so I was very happy I found Kristin. No nonsense with her. Prices were more than reasonable. She responded to my every email promptly and was always very detailed. Kristin was very personable and was a dream to work with. On the big day, she came early to setup and everything went according to plan. The makeup was flawless and lasted till the end of the wedding. The only thing I had to touch up was the lipstick/lipgloss. She patiently participated in pictures and video. So, 5 stars all around for Kristin!!

Kristin did my daughters hair and makeup for 2015 homecoming. Kristin did an amazing job. To say she just did great would not even come close to how amazing it was. Kristin Hit it out of the ball park. Everything my daughter had asked for was exactly what she got. Even better than imagined. Kristin did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 11/8/15. After a terrible experience at one of the only beauty salons in the town we got married in, I was in full panic mode with just over a month until the wedding and no one to help! I got Kristin’s information from a friend and emailed her with my situation. She was so prompt in getting back to me and we were able to schedule my trial right away! She was willing to work with my schedule and come to my house in Alexandria on a Sunday evening.

I honestly do not even know where to start with how much I loved her. As someone who wears makeup *maybe* once a year, it’s always a challenge to find someone who doesn’t make me look too overdone. Kristin absolutely made me look and feel beautiful. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted – natural makeup – and a general idea of what I didn’t want – Burt Reynold’s moustache eyebrows – showed her a photo of the hair style I wanted to base mine off of and she got started on working her magic! She was so professional and so thorough, she listened to any and all of my concerns and she made me laugh through the entire trial and the morning of my wedding. It was like getting done up by a good friend who just happened to be a professional makeup artist! Kristin also traveled two and a half hours to my venue on my wedding day, at the crack of dawn on a Sunday morning.

My hair and makeup held up throughout the entire day and night. Looking at photos from the beginning of the day through the end of the night, I still looked like it had just been done!

Most of all, and I really feel like this is worth repeating, she made me feel beautiful. I will absolutely be recommending her to anyone I know getting married or going to any formal event and will absolutely be calling her if I ever need my hair and makeup done for anything!

You will not be disappointed. Kristen is amazing! She is professional, friendly and trustworthy with an incredible personality! What a bride really needs is someone who can keep her smiling throughout the chaos. And Kristen did just that. Her passion for her craft shows in her flawless work. She responds quickly to all communication and has a wide network of professionals to assist in other services.
I planned my entire wedding in just 3 1/2 months. I live in California, and the wedding was in Virginia so I had to do this cross country! I began by posting on Facebook that I needed a makeup artist in the DC area. A friend recommended Kristen. When I met her for my trial makeup, she came with a big friendly smile and a huge makeup collection in a large roller case. The friendship began! Kristen was the only makeup artist that I met with and when you meet her, you’ll know why.
A month before my wedding I lost my hair dresser, my wedding decorator, and my wedding dress vendor had no clue as to when my dress would arrive! Kristen regularly texted me to check in and when I told her my problems she would text me back and forth, offering help and advice and sometimes just a friendly ear. She made me laugh, put me at ease and helped me find the vendors I needed in the nick of time.
My bridesmaids loved her! All their skin tones were a bit different but with Kristen’s talent and expert eye for color and dimension they looked gorgeous. She stayed for the entire event and made sure that I was always picture ready. And she partied as well! I have photos of her hugging and dancing with my sister! She became more than just my makeup artist; she became my friend. For those of you in search of an expert makeup artist as well as a calming energy in a chaotic arena, this is your girl. Kristen, thank you so much! You made my wedding beautiful and reassured me that within so much drama and chaos there are still beautiful souls in this world. I'm so glad we met.

Kristin was absolutely amazing. She was extremely responsive anytime I reached out to her regarding information, pricing, timeline, etc. I’ve always been very low maintenance when it comes to makeup and was nervous about doing a full face of makeup considering I only ever do my eyes and didn’t want to cover up the freckles on my face. She reassured me that a full face was important for pictures but that she would not cover up my freckles. At my trial, I showed her several pictures of the look I was going for and that’s exactly what she did! On my wedding day, there were a few slight tweaks I wanted to make and again, she delivered exactly what I asked for. She also did my hair and I absolutely loved it. I had reached out to several other hair & makeup places before finding Kristin and her rates were by far the best I came across and I’m so glad I found her. Kristin was BEYOND amazing. My wedding was featured on Fox 5 on one of their "ziptrips" to Manassas, VA & I was given only 2 weeks notice to plan everything. I reached out on facebook in search of a mua & Kristin was tagged in my search - she immediately messaged me (as I was creeping her facebook looking at her work) & I explained the situation to her. She was so extremely helpful & understanding with what a crunch I was in! She came to me to do the trial & was the sweetest! I absolutely adored her & knew right then I had made the right decision, but by the time she was finished I was even more assured. My makeup was flawless & I felt so beautiful. The wedding was an early wedding because it was during Fox 5 DC's morning show, & she was there early! (about 4:20am!) All of my girls looked absolutely incredible (6 total), & not only that, she offered to stay afterwards & provide touch ups for me (which was completely unexpected). I honestly can't imagine my wedding without Kristin! She was excellent in every way - went a million times above and beyond all my expectations, needs and wants.

I was only a couple months away from our wedding and still hadn't secured a makeup artist/hair stylist. I had requested quotes from numerous other places in the area, and the rates were outrageous. My photographer (Venessa Ramirez, Vness Photography) passed along Kristin's information to me, and I'm SO thankful she did!

When I reached out to Kristin, she emailed me back immediately saying she was out for the evening with family but would get back to me ASAP with rates and information - and she did!

I was so impressed with her rates and flexibility. I have extremely oily skin and was very worried that I'd need a touch-up after we did our portraits and after the ceremony. Kristin offered to stay additional hours for a very reasonable extra cost. That totally put my mind at ease.

At my request, she recommended several new skincare products to make sure my skin was in top shape for the big day. Her recommendations were amazing - right away I saw a huge difference in my skin. My face is a very bizarre combination of oily and dry. My new skincare regimen has done wonders to reduce the oil, dry spots and breakouts. I was so pleased with how my skin looked for the wedding.

We scheduled a trial a few weeks out from the wedding. She came to me in Alexandria and was extremely friendly, funny and nice. I knew I was in good hands when my makeup stayed completely intact throughout the night and during my entire drive home to Raleigh.

On the day of our wedding, Kristin arrived early to do my makeup and hair, as well as my Maid of Honor's. (We didn't even have any bridesmaids.) She even stayed on-site to help with my dress and touch-ups during and after the photos - which turned out GORGEOUS, thanks to her amazing work.

Thanks, Kristin!! I'd give you a million stars if I could! I HIGHLY recommend.

I just had my wedding on 10/8/16. Kristin did makeup for me, my mom and my 2 sisters. I can't even begin to tell you how many compliments we all received on our makeup. She made us look and feel beautiful but we still looked like ourselves. She was honest if we showed pictures she didn't think would work with our skin tones/face shape and spoke with us about other ideas. She's patient, flexible, and hilarious. Those qualities are amazing for someone you spend the beginning of your wedding day with--it set the tone for me. Kristin did an amazing job with my hair and makeup for my wedding day. I booked her fairly last minute, but she was still able to do a trial run. The make up was absolutely incredible. Kristin was great to work with from start to finish. She was responsive via email, calls, and texts and helped me through an emergency wax burn as well! Did a great job on wedding makeup and it stayed all night. Only thing that faded some was the lipstick near the end of the night. Kristin did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 10/6/17. Kristin was super accommodating traveling almost 3 hours to come to my home to do my hair and makeup trial. On the wedding day and the trial day she was early to arrive, which I loved. I loved her work- her makeup and fake eyelash application are amazing. She was very accommodating with adding services the day of as well. I would definitely recommend her services for any wedding! My makeup lasted through sweat and tears and I looked flawless the whole night. Overall great work.
