  Bright, beautiful, genuine photos!

  Kristen and Sheridan were both amazing to work with! The minute I saw Kirsten's work, the bright, beautiful photos and genuine happiness shown, I knew I'd found the perfect photographers! We honestly narrowed down our wedding date based on their availability! We got to know them both better at our engagement session, which was so fun, natural and easy. We got great instructions and also had the ability to just go with the flow. Our wedding day was captured beautifully by these wonderful women. The day was filled with smiles, jokes and genuine love from everyone! Highly recommend ❤️

  Kristen, Sheridan, and the rest of the team made our special day SO special.

  It’s honestly hard to put in words the incredible experience we had with Kristen Renee Photography. We started out a few months ahead of time with an engagement shoot (which I would HIGHLY recommend) where we got to know each other and Kristen’s style. as two people who are not used to being photographed, we were so thankful for Kristen’s expertise in posing and making us feel comfortable. We used the photos for our save the dates and wedding invitations :)
  
  In the months leading up to our wedding day, Kristen was always available and helpful in answering all our questions. She even scheduled 2 in depth phone calls where she helped us figure out the timeline of the day and made us feel so comfortable. When we decided we wanted videography as well at the last minute, she directed us to Elmtree weddings and facilitated that. Honestly, I don’t know what we would’ve done without Kristen.
  
  The wedding day went off without a hitch, and the photos are spectacular. I can’t overstate how important it is to have vendors that work cohesively with each other, and Kristen and her team not only worked well with the other vendors we hired, but actually seemed like FRIENDS. It was obviously the best day of my and my husband’s life (so far ;) ) but it made it extra special to look over and see our photo, video, and DJ team(s) all working so well together.
  
  Also, just a special shoutout to another member of Kristen’s team, Sheridan (her wife!!!!). They work so incredibly well and it’s honestly inspiring how well a married team can work together :)
  
  I feel like I could write so much more, but please just use this review as an INSISTENCE that you book Kristen Renee Photography before another couple books her first!!! Thank you so so so so much again, Kristen!!

  The most comfortable I've ever felt getting pictures taken!

  My wife & I were just married on October 14th, 2023 and we had the absolute pleasure of working with Kristen!!   True professionals!

  Kristen Renee Photography and her team were true professionals for our wedding! They were easy to work with, communicative, and responsive. On the day of our wedding, they captured all the moments big & small beautifully. They were gems when working with the young children in our family, and knew lots of little tricks to keep them engaged and happy during the family portraits. The portrait session was fun and laid back. Kirsten gave great directions and we got so many good shots. Overall Kirsten & Sheridan went above and beyond, and well exceeded our expectations. And of course they were so kind and made us feel at ease the whole day.

  Wonderful!

  Down to earth, warm & kind human, bonus that she takes beautiful photos. We worked with Kristen for our engagement and wedding. She is a wonderful person and we are so pleased with our photos. She is communicative and listened to our vision. She took the time to capture small details. We recommend Kristen and her Spouse as well!

  Simply the best

  Kristen was warm, confident, friendly, supportive, and so easygoing. She captured every core memory, and even some we weren't present for during the moment! Kristen is extremely talented in photography and is so knowledgeable and helpful!! She also reminded us to take it all in, in the moment and is truly one of a kind. We feel lucky that Kristen was there to capture our day.

  All I Can Say Is…. WOW!

  I don’t even know where to begin, but I’m going to try!
  
  My wife and I got married back in September 2023 and Kristen was actually referred to us by our DJ, Mo Haskins. I am beyond grateful for that referral - Kristen was absolutely phenomenal to say the least. We were planning a backyard wedding, so I obviously had a TON of questions and needed a lot of guidance throughout the planning process. Kristen was there to answer any questions I had with her positive and quirky responses. She really had a way of making the planning process fun, let alone the actual wedding day!
  
  Kristen and Sheridan showed up early and immediately jumped right in. I honestly only had to show them my wife, our dresses/shoes, rings and pups, and they took charge and got right to it! It was like they weren’t even there - seriously… some of the moments they captured I hadn’t even noticed them catching the shot at all.
  
  When the wedding actually started, Kristen and Sheridan were extremely professional and did everything they could to make the day about US. We busted through the wedding party and family photos in a flash. I didn’t realize how fast the day goes and Kristen and Sheridan really made sure we pushed through the formalities to get to the fun stuff (eating, drinking, dancing).
  
  We really felt so comfortable working with them. My wife does not normally do well posing for pictures; nervous, anxious, fidgety. Kristen and Sheridan made her feel like a natural in front of the camera. They made us feel like movie stars! On more than one occasion since the wedding, my wife has said Kristen is the only one she wants photos taken from in the future, which says a lot since we live in North Dakota (we had our wedding in upstate NY).
  
  I could go on and on about how much we appreciate this company, but bottom line…. If you want good people who appreciate you for who you are, respect you and your desires, put YOU first on your wedding day, AND capture incredible memories from one of the most important days of your life - you have to choose Kristen Renee Photography. We are so happy we did :)

We received a massive gallery of stunning, fully edited photos soon after the wedding and we were beyond thrilled with the shots. Thank you for capturing the magic of our special day, we will cherish these photos forever. I would recommend Kristen to absolutely anyone looking for a kind, passionate and professional photographer for their wedding day!

  The Best Experience

  Kristen was absolutely amazing to work with since the day we contacted her! She was a great communicator and so down to earth. She made myself and everyone else involved in pictures feel so comfortable and her laid back but professional vibes were very appreciated! She went above and beyond on the day of our wedding making sure we got all the shots in we wanted before the rain started. She even saved the day by having a crochet hook for my mother to use to help button my dress. On top of all this, we absolutely LOVED our photo's!

  Judgment free!

  Kristen made our elopement feel so special. We just did us and our parents in an outdoor setting. She helped us get great photos to remember our sweet little ceremony! She's got you!

  An energetic and amazing experience

  Kristen was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her attention to detail and diligent work ethic resulted in a massive album of photos for us to constantly reflect on and relive our EPIC day. She was friendly, polite, professional, and downright hilarious. Couldn't recommend her enough!

  Would give one million stars if possible

  We can not say enough wonderful things about Kristen and her team. From the very beginning we had an amazing zoom meeting and an incredible engagement shoot. Kristen always made us feel so comfortable even though we were in the middle of a nature preserve posing for photos and at first felt a bit weird about it. We honestly had so much fun and the time flew by so fast. Then came time for the wedding and not only did they help us get through our portraits and family photos, Kristen and her team helped piece together our first look and private vows. We were so happy to have Kristen, Jay, and Sheridan with us for our wedding. Having a queer team at our queer wedding felt wonderful and perfect and we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our day. We got to play around and experiment with photos at the venue and they turned out so beautiful and magical. If you need a good laugh, bad dad jokes, someone so kind and caring, and a genuine good human on your team, look no further. Kristen was the perfect addition to our wedding and we would fight someone if they told us we had to have it any other way #dinosaurclap 😂❤️

For our wedding day, Kristen took pictures of everything and shared them all with us (we received over 900 pictures). We are so grateful to Kristen and her team for the memories we can look back on for many years to come. So many guests reached out to tell us how friendly and helpful her and Sheridan were.   Kristen did an incredible job capturing our day! She picked up our vibe pretty immediately even though we didn’t do an engagement shoot. She did a great job capturing our wedding day. She made the process so easy and chill, I definitely needed a lot of help with schedule and timing. She went above and beyond to make sure we captured all our special moments and to find cool photo spots, which was seriously so kind. We appreciate you, Kristen! We will cherish these photos forever.

  Kristen makes everything easy

  While planning a wedding in New York from Oregon, having Kristen as our photographer was a huge relief to our planning. It was a joy to have her with us on our big day. She is an expert at what she does, and makes everyone feel so comfortable and fun. Not to mention SO many gorgeous photos. I am thrilled to recommend her for any and all occasions.

  Kristen was our photographer for our 11.26.21 wedding. Kristen is very professional, but also a very warm/nice person. I felt like I could be at ease that Kristen has got this! I'm a total introvert who doesn't consider themselves super photogenic, but our portraits came out amazing in particular! Our photos in general/overall may honestly be my favorite part of our wedding, can't wait to get some prints made.

Fantastic communication throughout the entire process. On the day she was outstanding! She was understanding and extremely helpful in guiding us through all the hustle and bustle of the formal photos and she did an exceptional job capturing candid photos of us, our friends and our family at our wedding. I’ve spent a lifetime despising having my picture taken and Kristen made it so much fun! We can not speak highly enough on behalf of Kristen Renee photography! Thank you so much for everything!

  She's the best!

  Kristen was the best! She was super easy going and made everything fun but could get our family members assembled and whip through those photos in no time. We could be our regular weird selves and didn't feel overly posed. Our photos came out beautifully and we've gotten so many compliments on them. So glad we hired Kristen!

  Kristen and Jay were awesome photographers for our wedding day. They made the picture-taking process fun and efficient. There were so many photos we wanted and they got through them with time to spare. The photos came out great and we were super happy with them.
