  Saved us with her skills!

  Krista was absolutely phenomenal. It was only my mom and I needing hair/make-up on a Sunday afternoon on a holiday weekend. I searched high and low but could not find anyone - until I found Krista. The search was well worth it. She's kind, personable, attentive, responsive, and reasonably priced. She made fast friends with my entire family while doing just mine and my mom's hair/make-up. I was incredibly happy with both final results. Krista, you're amazing!

  Exceptional Last Minute Save The Day Make Up Artist and Friend

  Krista is not just a talented and gifted make up artist (there are plenty of reviews to confirm this), but truly she is an angel of a person. She agreed to do my wedding make up on very short notice, and she was so genuine and kind. I was nervous about make up for many reasons, especially covering my freckles, and she made my make up look so natural and beautiful. Even more so, she is THE person and energy you want around on the morning of your wedding. She is reassuring, patient, very kind, and brings such a lighthearted energy to the day. She stuck around for a while, met my family, and even became the official flower girl warmer (with it being 50 degrees outside), which was so appreciated. 100% recommend from the bottom of my heart.

  Krista perfectly executed my vision! She was very open to feedback during our trial and made me feel beautiful on wedding day. She uses the highest quality skin prep and makeup too! On top of that, she created a great energy wedding morning, making easy conversation with my family, friend and soon to be in-laws.   The best experience of hair and makeup

  It’s one thing to be talented, but to be talented with a beautiful heart is rare. She made everyone feel special, beautiful, and comfortable. She can do any look for any occasion and does so with humility and grace. Her hair colleague, Sam is equally as talented and sweet, both of them gave everyone looks we’d only ever seen on social media. These women know how to do their work well! Thank you Krista and Sam.

  Absolutely amazing!

  Krista is an amazing makeup artist. Not only an incredible MUA but incredible person. I gave her an idea and she ran with it. She went above and beyond my expectations. Anyone would be blessed to have her for any occasion.

  Looked and felt my absolute best!

  Krista brought such an important energy and positivity to my wedding morning. Getting ready with the Girls was only made that much sweeter because of Krista's presence. Every bridesmaid was flawless in that enviable natural way. I've been doing my own/friend's makeup for events for 20 years, so when it came time to hire a professional for my wedding day, the standards were high. Krista came highly recommended and her personality just sealed the deal. It should also be mentioned that I have highly sensitive skin, rosacea, and to top it all off, I am both a hot-natured person (sweat!) and a crier! Krista handled all these idiosyncrasies with aplomb. I felt and looked like the most beautiful version of myself for more than 12 flawless hours. Oh and bonus: she never uses full-strip lashes! Only singles, for what IMO is a much more natural and attractive and comfortable look. Thank you Krista!!!

  Simply the BEST

  I’m not sure where to possibly being when describing what hiring Krista as your makeup artist is like. First, her talent. She is the most talented makeup artist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I have some very picky bridesmaids, one who has a YouTube skincare channel who is terrified to let anyone do her makeup and loves a dewy glow and another who doesn’t feel her best without heavy makeup. Both were apprehensive and Krista stunned them both- they were SO happy and obsessed with the makeup. She made everyone feel like their best selves and literal queens. So much to the extent that while she was walking away from our shuttle after touching me up one last time they all started cheering and chanting “Krista, Krista”. I kid you not. My makeup on my wedding day was nothing short of perfection. Not only is she insanely talented, her heart is pure and she loves what she does. Every ounce of her was poured into making this special day perfect. My bridesmaids asked me where I found this guardian angel. Krista is everything and I only hope you are lucky enough to work with her on your wedding day.

  Outstanding!

  This woman is INCREDIBLE, as well as her team. I could not have imagined a better outcome when I saw my makeup and hair the morning of my wedding! She even offered to bring coffee, she was an absolute godsend from the beginning and her and Alexis helped me feel so calm and relaxed the morning of which I did not think was ever going to be possible ha! They went above and beyond and made my mother, my sister, and I beyond perfect plus they are so so kind and considerate. Thank you both so much for truly making me feel and look like an absolute Queen ❤️

  I have worked with Krista a few times. She did my makeup for my 40th and for my elopement years after. I love her from head to toe. She comes with EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you may need for those challenges (like sun burns, aging skin, boob creases, etc). She is pure magic. Extremely professional and seasoned in her field. I will continue to hire Krista for all my makeup/ hair needs!

  More than a MUA

  Krista was my MUA for my 10/1 wedding. I could not have made a better choice booking her as she went above and beyond to make my day special. Krista is MUCH more than your typical MUA. She goes out of her way to pamper you. She spends time getting to know you and making you feel special. She is also extremely prepared for anything (providing us a crochet hook when I realized I forgot one, mints after drinking mimosas all morning, helping my bridesmaid fix her dress last minute). Krista took so much time making me just perfect for my day. She made sure every little detail was just right. It is rare to find such a passionate, kind, and generous soul! I trusted her immediately and I’m so glad I did! Not only did Krista do an amazing job on my make up day off, but she also checked in on my multiple times during the wedding planning process. As someone who is not always confident, Krista made me feel beautiful on my special day. Can’t thank her enough!

  I am beyond happy that I hired Krista to be my hair and makeup artist for my wedding on 9/4! After I did my trial with her, I knew I made the right decision by booking her. Both during the trial and on my wedding day, Krista made me feel at ease with her kind and genuine personality, was super flexible with anything I wanted to change (and doing my sister's lashes when she decided she wanted them on the day of), stayed longer than planned to make sure everything was right and everyone was satisfied, and made me feel so confident. I wasn't sure exactly how I wanted my hair on the day of the wedding, but because Krista is so good at listening, she helped me arrive at the perfect hairstyle! She even gave me a sparkly hair piece to put in my hair that I wouldn't have thought to get myself and it looked so pretty. In addition to the fantastic customer service, Krista is extremely skilled at her craft - she made my makeup look natural as I wanted given I don't usually wear much makeup, yet beautiful. The entire process with Krista was simply 10/10. If she is available for your event date, book her - you will be so glad you did!!

Originally only 2 guests signed up for makeup and after seeing 1 bridesmaids makeup, we all signed up. She was so accommodating and graciously accepted us even though it wasn’t on her schedule. She was able to achieve everyone’s expectations, as we all had different requests for our type of makeup (full glam to bare natural). It lasted all evening, we got so many compliments, and the makeup looked amazing in all the photos as well.
  Aside from the makeup, she has the biggest heart and was HILARIOUS. Had us all laughing all morning and afternoon..never missed a beat. Made sure the bride was so well taken care of and also gave us and the wedding planner little tips and hints since she has been around these types of events for so long. To end this…my mom left her chair and said “I want Krista to be my best friend”

  Krista was a lifesaver for my wedding day!

  Once I found Krista, I knew that she had to be my makeup artist for my wedding. And I am so happy that I hired her because she went above and beyond for my wedding. Not only did she make me feel flawless and beautiful on my wedding day, but her calming, genuine, and fun personality was incredibly grounding on the day of the wedding, which can be a stressful day. She is an artist through and through - extremely meticulous with every detail and listens to every piece of feedback that you might have. She gave me individual lashes that I literally forgot about at the end of the night (which she said I would!). But in addition to being my makeup artist, she also took some "getting ready" photos of me before my photographer arrived AND taught my mom how to lace up my dress so that I didn't look like a hot mess in the back :) If it wasn't for Krista...I would've been extremely stressed out on my big day. If you are looking for a makeup artist in the Raleigh/Chapel Hill/Durham area, look no further, Krista is who you need on your dream glam team! Thanks, Krista, for everything!

  Krista makes your wedding day perfect!

  Krista goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect! Multiple of my bridesmaids asked how it was possible to find the actual BEST makeup artist. Krista gave such attention to detail that my makeup was flawless and I still felt like I looked like myself. Krista also did the makeup for my bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and godmother. Everyone looked incredible and felt like Krista took the time to talk to each person individually so she knew exactly how they wanted to look. Even my junior bridesmaids liked that they had some makeup like the older girls but did not look overly done. Krista is a true artist! We hired Krista for makeup but she did so much more than that on our wedding day! When a few of my bridesmaids were not sure about their hairstyles, she grabbed her hair supplies and worked on their hair until it was perfect. She even fixed a few of the groomsmen's hair before showtime! It was really hot and humid on our wedding day and everyone still looked great walking down the aisle, during cocktail hour and for the entire reception.
  
  Krista's work is unparalleled but honestly the best part of working with her is her personality. She's a joy to be around and kept talking to me to keep me calm throughout the day. She even did a few breathing exercises with me before walking down the aisle so I would be less nervous. At one point, she helped an elderly relative to a chair when she saw it was a little too far for her to walk alone in the heat. When I say Krista makes sure everything is perfect, I mean EVERYTHING. I would recommend Krista to anyone who wants to look and feel the best on their wedding day but also to anyone who wants someone to spend time with a truly wonderful human being!

Even my junior bridesmaids liked that they had some makeup like the older girls but did not look overly done. Krista is a true artist! We hired Krista for makeup but she did so much more than that on our wedding day! When a few of my bridesmaids were not sure about their hairstyles, she grabbed her hair supplies and worked on their hair until it was perfect. She even fixed a few of the groomsmen's hair before showtime! It was really hot and humid on our wedding day and everyone still looked great walking down the aisle, during cocktail hour and for the entire reception.
  
  Krista's work is unparalleled but honestly the best part of working with her is her personality. She's a joy to be around and kept talking to me to keep me calm throughout the day. She even did a few breathing exercises with me before walking down the aisle so I would be less nervous. At one point, she helped an elderly relative to a chair when she saw it was a little too far for her to walk alone in the heat. When I say Krista makes sure everything is perfect, I mean EVERYTHING. I would recommend Krista to anyone who wants to look and feel the best on their wedding day but also to anyone who wants someone to spend time with a truly wonderful human being!

  Krista is da bomb!

  I can’t say enough about Krista. She is my new BFF ❤️after spending 12 super fun hours with her. My daughter and I were first in her makeup chair at 8:00 am and makeup and hair looked perfect 15 hours later! Actually didn’t wash it all off for THREE days 😂 and had no blemishes from it at all, and it stayed on that long! The individual eyelashes were the best thing ever, and she will do as little or as much as you want. of course, I was all in! Would have left lashes on forever! I am a huge makeup girl, but this was by far the best my makeup has looked ever and everyone’s hair too was phenomenal! She knew I loved bronzing and highlighting so I kept going back for more all day and pretty sure she did my whole upper body🙌🏻. I loved our makeup and hair so much. She was just so much fun, amazing at what she does, and talks you through what she is doing the whole time. She treated my cousin “the bride” like a QUEEN and all of the bridesmaids like princesses. She was the sweetest ever to my daughter and lil cousin the jr. Bridesmaids. She sang their praises all day and made them feel special and beautiful too. She touched us up all day long even up until we walked down the aisle and gave me some fabulous lip gloss, and yes I walked down the aisle with it in hand!
  Krista had everything we possibly needed with her: a million brushes and makeup for days, lumify eye drops for super white eyes, breathe mints, eye drops, and she even saved the day with some “NASA” tape to help my sticky bra disaster stay put and saved a few other sewing emergencies! She went above and beyond for the bride! My cousin’s makeup and hair looked like a magazine cover!! Krista’s personality is the BEST and is a joy to be around: the sweetest and loads of fun !   Krista is Ah-Maz-Ing!!

  I hired Krista after a friend recommended her. I hired her to do a trial for my bridal portraits and for the day of my wedding. For the day of my wedding she did my makeup along with my mom’s, MILs, 6 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls. She was professional, funny, enthusiastic and my biggest cheerleader that day! Every single one of us loved our makeup and the fact that we felt beautiful but as natural and comfortable. I highly, highly recommend her to any bride for their special day!!

  The Best Ever!

  I’m not the type of person who is into makeup, however, Krista gave me exactly what I needed! Natural, light make up, and most importantly an amazing time getting ready with the girls!! Krista made my wedding morning sooooo much fun with her lovely personality! Krista got all 6 of us ready on time and made every one of us very happy!! I never thought I’d enjoy getting hair and makeup done this much and sooo want to go back to that day 😭😭

  I highly recommend Krista to anyone looking for a fantastic hair and makeup artist! She was wonderful in every way. First of all, she made me, my bridesmaids, my mom and my mother-in-law look and feel amazing with flawless and natural-looking makeup. But maybe even more importantly, she was so sweet, fun, professional, and made my wedding day that much better.   Krista was an absolute gift on my wedding day. The makeup was beautiful and made me feel so confident! I cried a few times on my wedding day and my makeup didn't move! She included all of my input, and came up with the perfect look for the day! Krista was also such a calming presence during the wedding morning. She even offered to pick up coffee for everyone! She was lighthearted and fun, and helped me stay calm and centered. My bridal party absolutely loved her too! She did a beautiful job on all of them, and kept them laughing the entire time. Krista is a talented, kind, and genuine person, and I cannot recommend her enough!

  Krista is a GEM!

  I got to work with Krista twice: once at a UNC photoshoot (where she touched up my makeup) and for a newborn photoshoot (where she did my full makeup, plus lashes plus hair and did my 5 year old daughter's hair).
  
  Both times Krista was absolutely amazing! I am clueless with hair and makeup. I told Krista I wanted a natural look, and then Krista took that idea and made it even better than I imagined. She explained every step of the process and always let me speak up if I didn't like anything (except I didn't have anything to complain about!). The end result made me feel like a star, and the makeup was so light (not thick or caked on), I kept forgetting I had makeup on throughout the day! If I could have kept that makeup look for longer than a day, I would have!
  
  Krista was also super fun to talk to. She made me feel so comfortable and kept me smiling/laughing with all her funny and inspiring stories. I was amazed when 2 hours passed by, because it really felt like only 10 min.
  
  She was also so great with my 5 year old, who is shy, but opened up immediately to Krista. And my daughter let Krista do her hair without ANY fuss! I wish I could steal Krista's magic so I could do my kiddo's hair, lol.
  
  In short, Krista is an absolute gem, and I highly recommend her! I'm definitely keeping her card for all future events.

  Krista is absolute magic. I am SO SO picky about my makeup. Krista made me look absolutely perfect - I can’t even put into words how thankful I am for her. She is so genuine, so positive, and such a talented makeup artist. I was so pleased on my big day. I looked so natural yet so perfect. Don’t skip out on the fake lashes - she KILLS it with those!!!   Krista was there for me for both of my weddings, due to COVID-19 postponing my first large wedding. She made herself available for whatever I needed and made sure my first (family only) wedding was still just as wonderful as the large wedding I had originally planned for. She made everything so beyond perfect both times. Not only did she make me look and feel like a bride, but the atmosphere she created was so peaceful, calming, and joyful. She instantly became a part of the family and I could not imagine both my wedding days without her. Her work is beyond amazing and she performs it so effortlessly. I have never been disappointed at the outcome she creates. She brightens any room she enters and lifts any spirits she comes in contact with. When I think back on both my wedding days, the time I got to spend with Krista is always right at the top of my most favorite memories.
