Where to even start with this amazing individual.. We had a wedding in May 2023, we haven't even gotten our final wedding photos yet, just some previews, and I cannot put into words how amazing of an experience it was working with Krista. From day 1, she has always listened to our vision for our photos for the wedding, she is incredibly professional but also so incredibly approachable. She is very flexible, working with us the night before to find a new place for our engagement session given rain was anticipated the next day, but also advocates for herself in terms of what she does and does not do as part of her packages, for which we greatly appreciated the transparency. For those who have never done any professional photos, she gave us plenty of ques on how to pose, mixing in staged photos and spontaneous ones. On Wedding Day, my family was, for the most part, non-English speaking, and she, in the kindest way possible, took command and helped my family get organized and get the photos they wanted despite the language barrier. Her communication is incredible - despite her very busy schedule she ALWAYS responded so quickly to all our questions and emails (heck, we were the ones that took days to reply at times, not her), something that was greatly appreciated especially as the big day got closer and closer. She books the entire day and weekend for you, and we never felt rushed during our engagement session, in-person meetings with her (even though we ran well past dinner time she never complained haha), and especially during our Wedding day. Her bright, colorful, timeless style of photography is exactly what we were looking for and we cannot thank her enough for an amazing experience. - A & L -

Working with Krista was the best experience ever! She is professional and very responsive! She was so much fun and made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. We absolutely love how our engagement and wedding photos turned out! They are a perfect depiction of how amazing the day was! Krista was the first vendor I decided on post-engagement. I have been following her work for a long time and knew I wanted her to shoot our wedding. She helped us with several steps along the way and even recommended the venue we ended up selecting. She is so great at directing people and helping with the flow of the day. Not to mention her photographs are to die for. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat. She captured the day perfectly! She's a professional through and through. -

Krista is a truly wonderful and one of a kind wedding photographer! She was professional, detailed, organized and had great communication. She anticipated our needs throughout the process and guided us with ease all the way through. She was also so comfortable and fun to work with during our engagement session as well as on the day of. She gave great direction to everyone to ensure our pictures came out beautifully! Her work is absolutely gorgeous and she captured the essence of our day perfectly. I cannot recommend Krista enough to anyone searching for a fabulous wedding photographer! -

Lets be honest... after choosing to marry each other, hiring Krista Esterling to be our photographer was the next best decision we made regarding our special day! Krista was more than "just another photographer" she was someone we wanted to be friends with nearing the end of our day! Some photographers do it for the money, but Krista on the other hand genuinely LOVES capturing those special moments shared between the bride and groom. It was hard to tell who was more excited for the day, us or her. She kept everyone calm, but excited throughout the day. Krista was able to make sure everything stayed on track and had our best interest in mind during every aspect of our wedding day. We'd FIVE sure recommend her to anyone getting married ANYWHERE. She's anything and everything we could have hoped for in a photographer and so much more. Hope this helps when deciding to choose her! -

Krista photographed our wedding this past June. We had a two year engagement and Krista was incredible since our very first meeting with her. She genuinely wants to get to know you as people and as a couple. She lives for your story and documenting that story through beautiful photos. We got engaged at the MN State Fair and she had the amazing idea of taking engagement photos there, she is so adventurous and we seriously had so much fun together. Throughout the wedding planning process I would come across questions I would have about things not even related to photography and I knew she would be the right person to ask, not only was she our photographer but she was a HUGE support for us and always responded so quickly. She made our wedding day run so smoothly and thought of little details we would have never thought about. We felt like she became a good friend of ours because we had so much fun together! Not to mention her capturing photos of our very large family in nearly 100 degree weather. We were a little sad when the wedding day came because we knew that was also goodbye. But seriously she's amazing, you wouldn't regret one bit hiring her to tell your story! You will have a ton of fun with her and get incredibly beautiful photos that you will cherish for years to come. We could never thank her enough for her hard work and for all she did for us!!! -

Her style of photography exactly what we were looking for and she had such an amazing personality, full of energy and a good sense of humor. She is extremely genuine, and made us feel like we were her top priority every time we were with her. She is also extremely accommodating, and only wants to make you happy as a client. Being a type A bride, I felt really reassured when I asked to meet again and see more examples of her collections, she not only said “of course!” but also added examples of venues similar to what ours would be, so we could get a feel of what it would be like. She spent time getting to know us and worked around our busy schedules (and weather!) to find a time that worked and location that suited us perfectly. It’s pretty awesome too that she knows all of the secrets places of MN. Krista has a way of finding how you connect with your significant other, uses it, and captures the genuine moments with just a click. No matter size, shape, gender, race, Krista gets it, and nails it every time. I cannot begin to tell you how happy we are with all of our photos including engagement and wedding day. Krista shared one of the most important day of our lives with us, and captured every single moment flawlessly. We have so many memories, and now just need more wall space. I would recommend Krista, not only because she is insanely talented and just has a way of finding that angle you both rock at, but really cares about you as a client. She helps you create a realistic timeline of the wedding day (and trust me with timelines she knows it all). She can also clear our a room for you when you just need a moment to yourself, and with all the wedding stress helps you and your significant other remember to just relax, refocus, and enjoy this experience together. Krista is by far one of the most talented photographers I have ever encountered and is someone you will definitely want for your big day.

User2541359 Sent on 02/24/2016I have a somewhat unique situation. I am marrying someone who is currently not in the country and my wedding is across the country back home. So it potentially could be a very hard situation to figure out with working with a photographer. However, Krista has been nothing but accommodating! She was been wonderful to work with from a distance and has made me feel very comfortable with the entire process. In addition we are all ready planning the engagement session for the one weekend me and my fiance will be in the state before the wedding. Overall, Krista is making the entire experience a dream come true! -

Krista made our wedding day a lot of fun, and I don't think we could have done it without her!! She is very flexible and willing to help/work with any requests. Very happy and would recommend her to anyone.
