Amazing!
Words cannot explain how wonderful Kris and her team were. I came to her a bit late in my planning (4 months before my wedding) when things got overwhelming for me and I couldn’t have done anything without her. She kept me on task, she was always accessible and made sure my husband and I enjoyed our day. I was so sad when I had to let her go work her magic for someone else because my coordinator became my friend. If you’re looking for any type of decor I’m sure she has it or can get it the warehouse is insane. Kris Lavender is the best decision you can make for your event. -

My husband and I cannot thank Kris and her team enough for coordinating AND decorating our wedding!!!!! It was so beautiful and magical and perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and the ENTIRE year leading up to the wedding she was right there working for us even though she was only supposed to start 2 months before!!!! Any changes were immediately addressed and I always felt I could reach out with anything we needed and she or one of her amazing team members was there to help. Words cannot describe how grateful we were to have Kris and Darcha on our wedding day! I was pretty prepared detail wise leading up to the wedding, so all I wanted was someone to take over for the day. These two went above and beyond that! We got overwhelmed with setup before the wedding and decided to hand those responsibilities over to Kris and Darcha and they made my vision come true! Every detail was executed exactly how I wanted and better! They made my wedding party feel comfortable enough to ask questions and have fun in stressful moments. They made our families feel welcome when everything started and all the way through wedding day. Most importantly, they made my wife and I comfortable enough to hand the reigns over and just enjoy our wedding! Not once did either of us feel like we had to control and manage anything during the rehearsal or the actual day, which was SO nice! These two women are SUPERHEROES! The pep talks along the way were so refreshing and Kris' calm energy really carried us in tense moments! 1000% recommend their services to any bride dealing with planning stress! -

So you definitely need a planner. That is literally the short summary. I was a bride that thought it was necessary and was super wrong. Kris and the team were so helpful! They really make you think of the things no one remembers while trying to get married. Also, she is a pleasure to work with. My Enchanted Forest Wedding
Kris is the BEST planner in Atlanta. The love and attention she gave to my husband and I was incredible. You will not be disappointed with her services. We loved her so much that even after the wedding, we still talk to her! She gives you the warmth and encouragement that you need. She even went out other way to build a relationship with my mother, talk about love! Kris is extremely knowledgeable. If I could go back in time, I would do it all over again with her in my corner. We hired Kris to coordinate the month of our daughter’s wedding! Once Kris came on board everything went like a dream. With hindsight I wish we’d hired her for the whole planning period.
Kris is easy going and lovely to work with. The wedding day was stress free for me as I knew Kris was there to iron out the kinks.

Kris Lavender is amazing at what they do! I had the pleasure of working with Kris and Shannette for a wedding on 8/16/19 at Foxhall Resort in Douglasville, GA, and they were such a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism was top notch and they made sure to keep everything on schedule and organized. Additionally, the design for the wedding was simply gorgeous! The vision that they created and brought to life was beautiful different. I cannot wait to work with this team again! -

As someone who has a very hard time delegating or trusting anyone to execute my vision I must say I am very pleased with the Kris Lavender team. I only opted for the 3 month package of planning and design, when we first started I was very anxious to hand over my wedding to someone, even a professional. But Kris and her team made my every dream come true. On my wedding day I didn't worry about a single thing and Kris made sure my every need and want was met. Everything was exactly as I had dreamed it. I am so happy to have had her as my planner and would recommend her highly! -

Our wedding was just ok...
Overall our wedding was ok, I envision a day of everything going perfectly but it was just ok. The road to our day was a little bumpy. Our original date was October 10, 2020, but changed to July 25 because of personal issues and COVID-19. Kris Lavender and team was very understanding and assisted us with making the change. Kris and her assistant were very friendly and assisted with finding vendors like photographer, violinist and baker. I hired Kris Lavender for the wedding decor as well. The decor was nice, but small things like my broom were just throne together, I should have decorated it myself. Also I was told we would have black candles (which was my theme color) and I was really looking forward to but it turned out nice for a small intimate ceremony. I gave a rating of 3 stars because towards the end I felt like an afterthought, like Kris was ready to get it over with. I felt like I constantly had to check it on things and stress about how it would come together. I can kind of understand because of the change of date, she may of had other events. I was offered for someone on her team to dress shop with me but no response when it came to my appointment. I paid about $200 for a small cake that melted the day of so it looked horrible for the pictures. The one thing I really stressed and asked about multiple times what showing the wedding on Zoom. Kris assured me her team could handle it. The entire ceremony had no sound, which wasn’t a great experience for my guests and embarrassing. Also I asked that the wedding be recorded so I should share the day with my elderly family members that didn’t have zoom or internet access. I’ll never get that moment back or be about to share the day with others. Kris did give me a poorly recorded phone video. The person recording didn’t hold the phone in the correct recording position (horizontal) and was moving all over so the quality wasn’t good and not worth sharing. Kris team did reduce the price because I didn’t receive the whole Kris Lavender experience. But a wedding day is something you want to look back on and smile, for me it was just ok. Kris may be the right person for larger in person events but inmate ceremonies seem more of an afterthought. If you want to us Zoom make sure you have someone there that knows what they are doing and focused on doing it right. I really really wish my Zoom guests were able to hear and experience the wedding. Looking back, I should have gone to the courthouse and saved money. This was a second time around for me and I didn’t use a planner. The first time I had 300 guests and basically planned myself and it was beautiful but stressful! So I know what it takes; I should have had a better experience for 20 people. -
