Highly recommend!

We really appreciated working with Kress. Shane answered all of our many questions kindly and in detail throughout the entire process both on phone and by email, from sending us additional sample videos with certain features to reviewing our timeline. He was also flexible with the hours the two videographers would be there when we told him we wanted someone there at the end to capture a last dance. On the day of the wedding Corbin was such a joyous and professional presence. When we received the video we asked if we could have a little more dance footage included and Shane took care of that too. We will treasure the end product. We were very happy with our experience with Kress and highly recommend!

Look no further.

I am writing this even before I receive my finished product back, but I already know I'll be thrilled with it when I get it. Shane is amazing. From the initial emails and phone conversations straight through to the wedding day, he was kind, responsive, and thorough. On the day of our wedding, the weather was a little iffy. Shane knew I desperately wanted drone footage in our video, and he showed up early to make sure he got it before the weather took a turn. That seems so small but it meant the world to me; it's going that extra mile to make sure I'm happy with the wedding video I will have for the rest of my life. You can tell he understands and takes very seriously the role he plays in your big day. He was great to work with, made us feel very comfortable and I seriously didn't even realize he or his assistant were there for most of the night. I have cried watching everyone else's wedding videos on his website, and I know I'll do the same when I receive mine. Do not hesitate to hire Shane - he is the guy you want filming your wedding.

Amazing experience

We looked through so many videographers looking for the perfect one and happened upon one of Kress Production's videos and thought it was amazing. We looked through the rest of the videos on their site and loved every single one and knew we had to have them do our wedding video. Kress did an incredible job with our wedding videos. I have watched them so many times since receiving them and they always perfectly capture the emotion of the day - the way they perfectly edit the videos so that the music and the speeches are all perfectly timed and placed really blew me away. Shane was incredibly easy to work with throughout the whole planning process and was very responsive and his team was amazing day of the wedding. I would highly recommend choosing Kress Productions for your wedding video - there is no way you will be disappointed with them.

High Quality Films Created with a Personal Touch

Kress Productions and Shane in particular were more than I could have imagined a videographer could be.

My husband and I were going back and forth on if we even needed a videographer, but after seeing Shane's work on a close friend's wedding, we booked him right away. He was a pleasure to work with from the start, making sure he knew what was important to us and really and truly caring about our opinions. He was loved by all on the day of the event - and even let my four year old niece "help" him film at certain points when she was getting antsy!

We received so many compliments on just how awesome Shane was - most people didn't even know we had a videographer at the wedding! - and if they did interact with him, had only wonderful things to say. The films we received were not only beautiful and personal, but were mini works of art - lovingly captured and skillfully edited. We can't thank Shane enough for allowing us to remember our wedding in such a lovely way. All in all - we cannot recommend Kress Productions highly enough!

If you’re going back and forth about whether to get a wedding video...do yourself a favor and book with Shane because it’ll be the best money you ever spent! We got the short film video for our NYE wedding and it’s absolutely wonderful. The cinematography tells the story of all of best and most treasured parts of our day. You can truly tell that Shane loves what he does - it’s not just a job for him. He was great from the start from explaining all of the details and what to expect during and after the wedding. Couldn’t be happier!

Perhaps like some of you, we were on the fence about a videographer initially, and couldn't have been happier in hiring Shane. He and his assistant were extremely professional and captured all key moments. He knew when to step in and give direction but could also be a ninja in the background to capture candid moments. He was also open to some of our preferences or suggestions which was greatly appreciated. Our end product was fantastic and he really knocked our cinematic trailer out of the park. Compared to other videographers, we thought he stood out in terms of his creative vision for trailers, excellent audio quality, smooth transitions, and fun (but not overused) effects such as slow motion. The trailer combined with the documentary edits created a lovely memory of the day.

Videography has become an integral component of weddings. I love that it captures wedding toasts, stolen glances, and first dances. Planning for a wedding can be stressful, but it makes a world of difference when you have the right team by your side. On my wedding day, I was surprised at how carefree I felt. I was able to enjoy the whole day because I knew I made the right choice in choosing my vendors and that they would do their best to capture every moment.
Kress Productions was so easy to work with. Shane Kress communicates well and responds quickly to emails. One week before the wedding, we spoke on the phone to discuss in detail the timing and itinerary for the day so he can prepare and also offer advice on how to best organize the day efficiently. On our wedding day, he came almost 1 hour early to set up and we had so much fun shooting with him. We also appreciate that he wants to give each project careful attention and produce the best video possible. We highly recommend Kress Productions because, plain and simple, they are fun to work with and very reliable!

PERFECT!

We hired Kress Productions for our wedding on 9.16.2016 at the Liberty House in Jersey City. Kress Productions was referred to us by our photographer Jorge Garcia. Since Jorge and Kress Productions have collaborated for numerous weddings and have a great working relationship we thought it would be a great idea to consider hiring Kress Productions. Their work is beautiful and the style was exactly what were looking for!! After my first conversation with Shane I knew I wanted to hire him and his team right away! He was very nice, easy to communicate with and no question was a silly question. On our wedding day Shane was prompt and went right to work. My husband and I, our wedding party and parents felt very comfortable with the production team capturing our special moments. Shane is the owner of the production company and he is also the main person filming on the day of the wedding along with an assistant. I am so happy we went with a self owned production company because he really takes pride in his work and delivers in a timely manner. When we watched our highlight video I was very very happy with it!! It brought tears to my eyes and it brought us back to our wedding day! All of our loved ones loved it as well! Not too long after we received the blue ray with the whole wedding footage. I have heard horror stories about photographers & videographers; whether they do not work well with one another, they are rude, or they take very long to deliver footage of the wedding day. I can say we did not have any of those issues! It is very important that the photographer and videographer mesh well with one another. I highly recommend hiring Kress Productions to capture that special day!!!

I don't know that I can describe how wonderful of a job Shane and his crew did on our wedding video. His style is unique and his videos tell a story of the wedding day in a manner like no other. Our video captures every moment of the day and brings about those same emotions we felt on our wedding day. Shane was available to be reached at any moment and helpful with suggestions along the way. Please do yourself a favor and watch the videos on his site and know that you too will get a video as terrific as ours and all of Shane's previous customers. I cannot recommend Shane enough, he and his team are the best out there in my opinion.

We booked Shane over a year and a half in advance of our wedding date because we loved the work he had posted on his page. We talked over the phone about his film style, how he plans his day, etc. We were thrilled with the conversation and booked him on the spot. Leading up to the wedding we kept in touch about expectations for the day and he worked with my photographer on a plan of action for the day. On our wedding day, he was so easy to work with [and his team] that at times we forgot they were filming! We received our short video, feature and actual ceremony and reception content so quickly! I had two of my videos by the time we got home from our honeymoon! The quality of the work provided is incredible. We were on the fence about getting a videographer but we're so pleased we did. Shane was adamant about making sure we got to experience our wedding day, but also have incredible footage. Both were achieved! Can't thank Shane and his team enough for capturing our day.

I used Shane for my July 2016 wedding. He was a pleasure to work with. The planning process seemed so easy and he thought of everything that needed to be planned ahead of time. I felt very relaxed knowing I didn't have to worry about anything. He was always responsive to all emails I sent. Shane brought a second shooter with him as well. The second shooter was also fantastic. Both of them operated in the background the whole time, so it did not feel like an intrusion, yet they captured beautiful footage. Shane also worked very well with my photographer, and with my band. He had to coordinate sound and microphones during the ceremony and speeches. He kept to his timeframe as well for delivering our highlight trailer and our final product. His price was also right what we were looking for, and I think he final product looks like it would have cost more than it did! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Shane and his team were the most talented, professional, and sweet people for our September wedding. The documentary-style wedding videos they created for us were absolutely beautiful and artistic. I have watched the videos on repeat since receiving them a mere 2 weeks after the wedding. Not only are the videos flawless and showcase only the happiest, sweetest moments of the day, but Shane himself is a joy and pleasure to work with. Choosing Shane and Kress Productions as our wedding cinematographer was a fantastic decision we made. There was so much ease in working with Shane: he answered questions right away, met with us to discuss our wedding plan, and made sure we felt calm and assured that everything would get done how we wanted. My flowers were nice, my DJ was very good, my photos came out awesome. Overall, the wedding was great and I think my guests all had a good time. But my wedding video was AMAZING!!!! He's outstanding!!! Phenomenal!!!! His Keen eye is absolutely incredible!! It took us months to research and find the perfect cinematographer to document our wedding and can sincerely say that Kress Productions was by far, the best we could have ever chosen. I did a ton of research for a good videographer and was thrilled to find Shane. Not only is he an absolute treat to work with, but he provided hands down the best value among all the videographers I looked into. In terms of quality, I appreciate his attention to detail and his style of recording. After seeing like 1000 wedding videos from other companies that were full of cheesy setup shots, I was relieved to find someone who was able to capture emotion without staging anything and spin all the clips from the day into an amazing film. Shane provided exemplary service from start to finish. He was a pleasure to work with through the contract phase right up until our most special day. He and his team worked seamlessly to ensure memories were captured but were barely noticeable, which speaks to their professionalism and skill in their craft. And the videos. They were stunning, and perfect, and truly all-encompassing of a joyful experience. Shane wove together a series of moments into a truly priceless gift for us to keep for all time. Shane and his crew were our favorite vendors to work with on our wedding day. They were extremely pleasant, professional, and turn out incredible videos. It seemed like we barely saw them throughout the day because they are so discrete but every detail was captured on video. I was not into the idea of having a videographer until I saw Shane’s videos. The work speaks for itself. I love showing family and friends our highlights reel. It perfectly encapsulates our day in two minutes. I am also very happy we decided to have him capture our first look on video; it's a beautiful moment. My maid of honor ended up going with Shane for her wedding and I think I may have another friend go with him and his crew soon. Highly recommend going with Shane on your big day!

Before Shane, I looked at countless videographer websites and couldn’t find anything I truly loved that was worth the investment. For a while, I let go the idea of a videographer, even though it was really important to me, because I just couldn’t find what I was looking for - until Shane. I loved his work and appreciated his easygoing nature - he was by far the easiest vendor to work with during the wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, he did a great job staying in the background and making sure not to clash with my photographer. We didn’t even notice him or his team at the reception! When we received our video, I immediately sent it to everyone and proceeded to watch it 3 more times. My husband and I absolutely loved it! And we weren’t the only ones; I got calls from family members saying they cried all over again watching Shane’s video and that they showed it to friends who didn’t even know me and they cried! I was told countless times by everyone that they have never seen a wedding video like Shane’s. I was on a wedding high all over again. Not only did we get our main video, but also the entire ceremony and the main parts of the reception! I never saw another package like Shane’s - the rest are overpriced and don’t include nearly as much. DON’T LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE! Between his great nature and amazing work, Shane is the absolute best wedding videographer!

Everything about Kress Productions was on point, including preparation, collection of information and preferences, shooting of the wedding, quality of the product and speed of getting the video to us. We received out ceremony, reception and highlight reel much sooner than we ever expected and were absolutely blown away by the highlight reel. The shooters and editors who were a part of the evening really captured the spirit as well as all of the most important aspects of the evening without getting "in the way" during the course of the evening. I will (and have) recommended Kress Productions to every single person that I know is getting married. You will not be disappointed if you use Shane and his crew.

Kress Productions did a wonderful job with our wedding video. I could not be happier. Peter and Michael were very professional. I wouldn't have even known they were there until seeing the results of the video, so see they captured all of the amazing moments of our wedding day. I have watched the highlight reel at least a dozen times and each time it makes me feel the fun and excitement we had on that day. I love love love the speeches - how Peter was able to edit together the toast from the Best Man and Matron of Honor into what seemed like a seemless trade off between them. I cannot even begin to describe how pleased I am with my wedding video. Kress productions did a PHENOMENAL job! It truly exceeded our expectations and I found myself crying after seeing it for the first time. We have received so many compliments from friends and family as well. I now have the most beautiful memory of my wedding. Shane and Peter were outstanding. They were professional, friendly, funny and instructive. Which is so important on your wedding. My wife and I did a lot of homework when it came to selecting a wedding cinematographer. We ended up with Kress Productions for a few reasons. The quality of his final videos was outstanding. Being in the industry, I have an eye for quality work - and this was a home run. And Shane was great to work with. I don't know how he managed to be in so many places at one time but he did. We were so impressed with the product and are happy to recommend Kress Productions.

Shane and Peter were one of the most wonderful parts of our wedding. My husband and I didn't even notice that they were there, yet they managed to capture all of the most important (and the smallest details) of our special day. The cinema reel Shane gave us made everyone cry tears of joy! To be able to bring about such emotion in the most beautiful, elegant, and stylistic way is truly amazing. Holy. Cow. My fiance and I were in tears when we watched Shane's highlight reel from our wedding. It was like watching a movie! The photographer we were working with recommended Kress Productions to produce our wedding video and we could not have been happier with the service, DVD, professionalism, and communication.

We hired Kress Productions to make a video of our wedding this summer and I was absolutely blown away! I had watched all of his website videos and knew kind of what to expect, but when Shane delivered the final videos we were blown away. He was great about communicating with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding and made us feel really comfortable about the whole process. And on the actual wedding day, we hardly knew he was there! I highly recommend Kress Production s to record your wedding!

Our wedding was September 19th, 2014. We used Kress Productions as our videographer to capture all the highlights of our day. From the first time we spoke with Shane over the phone and met him he was so easy to work with and we knew we made the right decision from the start. He was so professional and very nice to deal with and we knew we could count on him to be reliable for the day of our wedding. During the ceremony & reception, you would never even know he was there! Talk about unobtrusive! My husband & I received the footage of our highlight reel and could not have been happier. It truly captured the essence of the day/evening and we absolutely loved it!!! - It was everything we were looking for and more!

Shane Kress of Kress Productions is a creative and excellent videographer. He is also very professional and a pleasure to work with. If it were possible I would give Kress Productions an overall rating of ten. Kress Productions created wonderuful memories for my family of my son's wedding. I highly recommmend Kress Productions.

So Impressed!

Shane was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We initially weren't going to get a videographer for our wedding, but seeing Shane's videos changed our mind. We are so pleased with our decision to book him for our wedding, and cannot stop watching the final product! He even worked with us to add in a few extra pieces of our special day after he had finalized the video to make it the perfect representation of our wedding.
