I cannot say enough amazing things about Kotecki’s and their staff. I’m a perfectionist and I’m terrible at making decisions so those qualities together made wedding planning ridiculously stressful for me. Looking back, I genuinely cannot imagine working with anyone other than Kotecki’s.
My husband and I looked at MANY venues prior to Kotecki’s but there was always something we didn’t like either about the venue itself (e.g., no windows, no outdoor space, too “banquet hall-y”) or the person we met with (e.g., not personable). Our meetings generally lasted maybe 15 minutes or so. Then, we met with Kotecki’s… we left over an hour later and we were sold. We knew that these were the kind of people we wanted to work with and trust with our wedding.
As wedding planning progressed, we got to know the Kotecki’s staff more and more. Long story short, I corresponded with Kate back and forth more times than I can count addressing my concerns and indecisiveness and I ultimately chose to let her and my florist (Blossoms N Treasures) basically take the reigns as far as décor, design, etc. because I didn’t know what I was doing and couldn’t actualize my ideas. I had way too many tabs open on my computer with contending centerpiece ideas, cake toppers, seating charts, etc. and I became very overwhelmed. We saw our room (the Cecilia room) multiple times prior to our wedding when we stopped by Kotecki’s for meetings, to drop stuff off, etc. so I honestly wasn’t anticipating having any sort of emotional reaction to seeing the room on our wedding day. The moment I walked into the room, I honestly started to cry. Somehow after expressing the jumble of ideas in my head, Kotecki’s executed the most beautiful reception I could’ve ever imagined. They absolutely transformed the already beautiful room into the perfect space for me from the stunning seating chart (which they made) and welcome area to the linens to the floral arrangements to the uplighting and everything in between.
They were so accommodating and always went above and beyond. There were times during the planning process that I started to doubt what I was doing so I asked to swing by to yet again check out the space and talk through things and they would always be welcoming and help calm my nerves. I quickly learned that they don’t accept anything less than perfect from themselves, which was reassuring to me.
The outdoor space was beautiful. Our wedding day was HOT so their A-frame tent was perfect to provide a cooler place for people to sit and socialize during cocktail hour (but it would be great for a rainy day, too). Their gazebo, waterfall, landscaping, and surrounding trees created a picturesque atmosphere.
Before our wedding, whenever we said our reception was going to be at Kotecki’s, nearly every single person would respond, “Their food is so good!” I must say, they weren’t wrong. From the hors d'oeuvres to the late night snacks, everything was cooked & plated perfectly and served promptly. People may not remember (or recognize) that I upgraded to higher quality napkins but they will always remember how delicious their meal was.
I know I’m biased, but it’s 3 months later and people are still telling us how much they enjoyed our wedding and how beautiful it was. Since day one of planning, I was worried about having regrets about our wedding day decisions and I can honestly say I wouldn’t change a single thing; it was perfect (and I have Kotecki’s to thank for that). -

If you’re looking for an amazing wedding venue in WNY, look no further. John and Kate were always available along the way to answer any of our questions or concerns. They made sure the food tasted great and that our big day ran smoothly and on schedule. -

John and Kate were great in helping to plan our wedding. John was great in helping us to think up ideas to make our day special. As it goes with planning a wedding, there were lots of emails and details and changes and they did a great job handling it all. Their staff was extremely helpful the day of and during the rehearsal. We had a plate of the appetizers on our table for dinner and they were super attentive to make sure we had everything we need the day of. We had DJ Jammin' James and he was great as an MC and DJ, and a super sweet guy to work with. -

My husband and I got married 9/21/19. We started planning our wedding almost 2 years ago. From start to finish everything was perfect. John spent two hours with us at our first meeting making sure all of our questions were answered explaining absolutely everything to us! He even made sure he has additional staff on hand if our meeting ran over which it did. But he was prepared. Everything in between our first meeting to our last in which we talked over all the game plan for that day was wonderful. Kate was there to guide me and answer my questions and also calm me down when I was panicking! John and Kate were amazing. They communicated effectively and timely throughout the entire process. Day of, everything was BEAUTIFUL and they went above and beyond adding fine little details to make sure our day was magical. The food, wow... it was phenomenal. Our appetizers were great. My favorites were the crab cakes and bacon wrapped scallops. DELISH. We had dual plated chicken and filet, with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was mouth watering good and cooked to perfection. Words cannot describe how amazing Koteckis was and I will recommend them over and over again. 10/10😍 -

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Kotecki’s on the 20th of July.
From the very first contact to say John and Kate have been amazing would be a huge understatement. Their responses were always prompt and extremely helpful!! Their interactions customer service and friendliness were a huge part in us selecting Kotecki’s which we had never before heard of as our venue!!
After meeting with John and Kate to view the venue we selected Kotecki’s as our venue and were super excited!! This venue is beautiful both inside and out and can accommodate weddings small and big both inside and out!!
We had our wedding inside the Natalie room and everything was absolutely gorgeous!! The day of everything was perfect down to every last little detail we had discussed prior with Kate and John!! They sure went out of their way to make sure staff had everything set up perfect for us!!
We selected the roast beef, charcoal roasted chicken, red bliss mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and penne pasta with sauce in family style fashion!! Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch!!
Our guests were all raving days after about how much they loved our wedding reception and how it was the best they had been to in awhile from the top shelf bar selections to the delicious food service, beautiful atmosphere and rocking DJ and dance floor!!
We Highly recommend this venue for your upcoming wedding and would chose them again 1,000,000 times over!! Thank you again Kotecki’s for helping us celebrate or marriage and giving us more than we could ever dream of and more! -

The venue search stopped after visiting Kotecki’s. We toured the grounds with John and fell in love. John was spectacular. He made planning easy (even with our thousand questions) and was always available. He promptly answered our emails and anytime we needed to drop by he was there. With a mixup on our beer selection John personally ran out to buy the correct beer for us AND did it under 10 minutes, I am not exaggerating. Going above and beyond is his specialty. Both rooms are gorgeous and the outside space is breathtaking. We were able to set up the day before our wedding and go in and out, use the space, as we needed the entire day. It was super accessible! Everything that was a part of our wedding and Kotecki’s...was simply amazing.
The food.... oh man... the food was absolutely delicious. Every guest had a clean plate by the end of dinner. With the duel entree, there was plenty of food. The appetizers were exquisite. Dinner came out on time and accommodated the picky flower girls with some delicious chicken fingers. We used the in-house DJ and danced the whole night. DJ Johnny K kept everything on time and swift. He played anything we requested and gave us a plethora of chart topper songs to choose from.
I cannot say enough great things about Kotecki’s or John and Kate. They run an amazing establishment. Absolutely recommend to any future brides and grooms. I would get married a million more times and choose Kotecki’s every time! -

So many things led us to choose Kotecki's as are reception venue. We wanted to book over 3 years in advance and Kate and John were one of the few places that weren't freaked out by that. Kate and John were also the most relatable out of all of the reception venue coordinators. The venue in general does need very much to make it look amazing and elegant. They also have a wonderful and kind staff, we still aren't sure who it was, but someone made sure to put horderves at the head table for my husband and I to eat.
I can't say enough about how amazing Kotecki's was, they were also super quick to respond, and made sure everything went great!
If all of those things weren't enough, they food they serve is some of the best food myself and my guests have ever had. My neighbor who is 100% Italian, said the Italian Wedding soup that was served was the best she ever had! -

After struggling to find our perfect venue we found Kotecki's. John and Kate were amazing! From the beginning they were nothing but nice and accommodating! We originally booked our wedding in September of 2019 but about a year into our planning we found out that my husband was being deployed and that we needed to change our date. when I contacted John he was super understanding and let me switch my date with ease! Any time I had a question they would answer me right away! When it came down to the day of the wedding everything went smoothly! Kate even stayed back and bustled by dress for me! I am so happy we chose them,! They made our wedding magical and the best day of my life! I would highly recommend them to anyone! -

John & Kate were the BEST to work with! After not being happy with my original venue I was able to switch everything over to Kotecki's with no issues! They let me come in and set up a couple days before the wedding which was so awesome! I am so glad I went with them, everyone raved over the venue, food, drinks and the music! Honestly, nothing went wrong! John even made us a plate of the hand passed hors d'oeuvres so we were able to enjoy them while greeting people. The pork wontons were sooooo good!! All the staff were beyond professional and took care of all our needs. I have not heard one complaint! 10/10 - I will definitely recommend Kotecki's to everyone! -

Everything happens for a reason... We were a COVID wedding, and when our initial venue closed, we found Kotecki's and we're so glad that we did! Kotecki's is a beautiful venue inside and out. From their gorgeous new outdoor areas to their renovated, elegant ballrooms, the entire venue screams class. John and Kate made the planning aspect a breeze too - even after we had to reschedule - and they were super knowledgeable and responsive anytime we had any questions. They even helped us to coordinate a fireworks display onsite (one of the only venues in the area that can accommodate that). The night of, they were there the whole time making sure everything went smoothly - when a minor issue popped up (things that weren't even venue related!), we didn't even hear about it because Kate had already taken care of it. She even helped to fix my bustle on the dance floor! And of course, the food was phenomenal. Everything was plentiful and absolutely delicious - we're still getting comments on how good it was weeks later - and the timing between courses was perfect. We literally had the most perfect reception at Kotecki's! -

Ashley Sent on 08/01/2018Kotecki’s is the hidden gem of West Seneca. My husband and I looked at over 10 venues before stumbling across this one. After one visit, we knew our reception had to be here. When you walk in the main entrance, you're immediately greeted by a grand staircase and elegant chandeliers. We chose the larger of the two ballrooms to host our guests. This room permitted us access to the Courtyard, which we took full advantage of. It backs up to Caz Creek which gave our photographer some beautiful photo opts. The foyer, just off of the banquet room, offered our guests private bathrooms and my wedding party a bridal suite. The ballroom itself was spacious and professionally lit. You can tell that the owners truly care for this property just by looking at the aesthetics.
John and Kate were so much fun to work with. They were very patient and helpful from start to finish. I could email either one at almost any time and get a response back. They were respectful of our theme, offered advice when it seemed fit and made it their personal goal to keep us happy. In one instance, John was up and emailing me at 2am – the night before my wedding day! There's a video screen welcoming guests just outside the foyer. John suggested sending him photos so that he could create a short slideshow and personalize the screen. He happily accepted the 25 photos I sent him on such short notice. Kate, on the other hand, allowed me to come into the venue (three times!) before my wedding day to set up the décor. Being able to see it dressed the way I wanted provided me the utmost comfort and ease.
We heard nothing but good things from our guests about the food. I can say first-hand that the dinner course was delicious. We chose Filet and Chicken Marsala as the dual entrée and both were cooked to perfection. The staff was courteous and friendly – serving the whole room quickly and with a smile.
Thank you to the entire Kotecki’s staff for making our reception a night we will never forget! -

I'd recommend not working with Kate at Kotecki's, or at least don't assume common courtesy by making an appointment.
