Rev. Pat Werk officiated our wedding and we received so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful our ceremony was! Pat was so amazing to work with for many reasons. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and really valued our input in crafting a ceremony that was unique to us. Abbie showed up for rehearsal and helped us tremendously. She was organized and helped us run the rehearsal until we were satisfied. She answered all of our questions and made sure we had what we needed for our wedding day.
On our big day she showed up early and checked in with me. She made sure I was doing well and double checked we had all the forms we needed before hand to make everything run smooth. She then when to check in with the DJ and set up. The ceremony was perfect. Alex and I felt extremely comfortable up there with her and knew exactly what to expect. My husband and I were able to pick and choose elements and edit them so they reflected us. Pat gave us so much confidence during our rehearsal and all meetings leading up to the wedding. She is kind, highly communicative, skilled in project management, and an expert in all aspects of officiating a wedding. And now as newlyweds, we are navigating getting our marriage certificate and changing my last name with ease, all thanks to Pat's incredible care and resources. When we looked for an officiant for our wedding, we wanted a professional who had experience so things would go smoothly, we wanted a little bit of our own personality in the ceremony, and we wanted to make sure our vows weren't something we had to write all on our own. And we got all of that. Pat was fantastic to work with. Her experience showed in making sure that all our concerns about the day and the marriage license/certificate processing were covered. During the rehearsal, she helped us make sure that all the details were covered for the next day so we didn't stress over where to stand, what to hold, any of the small things.

Pat could not have been more professional, organized, and enthusiastic. She has the perfect balance of charisma and efficiency. The ceremony building process was easy to follow yet customizable, and it was my favorite part to plan out of everything for our wedding. I recommend you start planning early on so you can make use of all of the recourses Koru will offer you. We were still able to add a lot of personal touches to our non-traditional wedding. Rachel was our officiant and she was amazing. We really loved the workbook that was available to us. We were able to essentially tailor our ceremony to what we wanted based off of the information we were given in the packet from Koru. When we first met with Rachel, both my husband and I felt so at ease with her and her personality. She was available to us if we needed and we were able to collaborate with her as we got closer and closer to our wedding date. The rehearsal put a lot of us at ease with how things would run and what we were supposed to do, where to stand, etc. I would hire her again in a heartbeat! Thanks Rachel!Koru Ceremony's reply:

From our very first meeting, Rachel was absolutely incredible to work with. Whether it was answering questions about our ceremony, providing insight, or being a calming presence, I cannot imagine our wedding day without her. Our ceremony was everything we dreamed of- filled with love, personal readings, and perfectly timed. Creating the ceremony was also something we really enjoyed- we loved being able to pick and choose different aspects and infuse personal touches into it. The night before our wedding, Rachel also did an amazing job at our rehearsal dinner- she clearly communicated what the ceremony would look like, answered questions, and helped the little ones warm up to the idea of walking down the aisle. We had Rachel from Koru Ceremonies as our officiant. We felt like she was so professional and really listened to what we wanted our ceremony to be like. She did a great job of walking us through the ceremony and helped us make choices for things like the processional music. Rachel also did a rehearsal with us the night before, and everyone in the wedding party felt that the rehearsal was really helpful and made them feel more prepared for the ceremony. Pat was amazing to work with for our wedding ceremony! She made sure that every little detail was talked about during our meetings, and gave great tips for our vows. She was very helpful during our rehearsal and went over the grooms custom entrance the day of the wedding until he was comfortable. There was a small hiccup and Pat went above and beyond to resolve. We would give Pat 100 stars out of a 10 star review.

Pat Werk was our officiant for our wedding ceremony last week. Working with Pat was simple, wonderful, and very informative during our meetings. We met via zoom, which was very convenient for us, to plan and organize our ceremony. We chose to have Pat share our love story during our ceremony…. since we met during Covid some of our extended family and friends didn’t know our full story! I can’t count how many people came up to us during our reception and asked if Pat was a relative because she told our love story so well! It was AMAZING!!!
