Dee, thank you for the wedding before my husband’s passing

You married Jeremy and I September 21st 2015 and it was was beautiful I will never for get it. Sadly, Jeremy passed away October 25th 2017 of a heart attack. I atleast get to remember the beautiful service you gave us not long before he left this world at 38 years old. I have tried emailing you so that I could visit the pier where you married us I just wanna visit and can’t figure out what the address was. Thank you so much for that :) much love

Awesome and very personal and professional

Not only did Mrs.Dee go above and beyond she stayed connected with me through out . Made changes at the very end very thankful for that. Real sweet and caring couldn't have pulled it off without her.

We loved working with Dee, and are so happy we trusted her with the most important aspect of our wedding day. From our initial phone conversation to the signing of the marriage license, Dee was a true professional and an excellent resource when it came to things like designing our ceremony and applying for our license. She even asked if we'd like for her to submit the completed paperwork to the courts after the ceremony had ended, and we had the signed and stamped original back in our hands within a week! Dee gave us plenty of ceremony wording options and inspiration, and allowed us to pick and choose and personalize the ceremony that worked best for us. She was delightful on the phone and in person, and made our ceremony rehearsal a breeze. Thank you Dee!

Dee was absolutely wonderful! She met us with a beautiful smile and made us both feel like royalty. It was clear from the start that she wanted the whole experience to be perfect for us. She sent us a form to fill out that asked what seemed to be a million questions, but what came out of it was a beautiful ceremony that was completely customized to fit to our individual personalities. It brought out the best in each of us, and we even learned some new things to love about each other! In addition, her prices are very reasonable compared to some other officiants we ran across. No hidden fees, no surprises, no regrets. Dee is a real sweetheart with a passion to see people's wedding dreams come true, no matter what their budget is. I would recommend her a thousand times over...

Dee was extremely professional and responded quickly to my emails. She let us customize our ceremony while giving suggestions as well. We were very impressed by her from beginning to end. She was extremely helpful before the wedding and helped us to organize the chaos and she helped with picture poses after the wedding. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dee was amazing. She was so friendly and on top of everything,I don't think I could have done it without her. Her patience was also very much appreciated as I was very scattered brained and indecisive. I made some last minute changes a week or so before the wedding and she was more than happy to re arrange the time line for me! I would recommend her to anyone, for any style wedding! Dee was wonderful to work with for our small beach wedding in Fernandina Beach. We were from out of town, so all of our pre-wedding communications were via phone and email, and she was very timely and thorough in all of her responses. She provided great resources and options for us to put together the exact ceremony that we wanted. The day of the wedding, she arrived early, gave input as we set up and offered photo ideas afterward as well. She was a lot of fun, very personable and really helped to make our ceremony a great experience. Thanks, Dee!

Dee was wonderful to work with. She thinks of every little detail and made a huge impact on our wedding. From the very beginning Dee was constantly available and offering suggestions to improve our ceremony and marriage experience. I loved the fact that she provides you with lots of script options and allows you to pick and choose what works best for your ceremony. Dee was a wonderful officiant. She is an extremely kind person and my husband I liked her right after we met with her for the first time. Her prices are very reasonable and we loved how flexible she was with our ceremony script. She gave us a long list of options for the ceremony and we got to choose exactly what we wanted. We got married at TPC on March 5, 2016 and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful and she was a great officiant. She was always prompt with answering all emails and questions and was on time for our first consultation, the rehearsal ceremony, and also early for the wedding day. We highly recommend her!!

Dee was the perfect officiant for my daughter's wedding. She was professional, flexible and affable. Dee provided script choices to the bride and groom allowing them to custom tailor the ceremony to their tastes. She was focused on making them comfortable and happy. Dee came to our rehearsal (which was a long drive for her) organizing and directing the entire thing. She asked for feedback as to what the bride and groom wanted and followed through. She coordinated well with the DJ. At the ceremony she was professional and made things flow smoothly. She was an affable guest after the ceremony and seemed to enjoy meeting the other guests. Her fee was very reasonable and a good value for the services she provided. I highly recommend Dee to officiate any wedding ceremony.

Dee was contacted at short notice to officiate our wedding at Jax beach. Dee was extremely professional in her approach and offered advice on timings, location and alternative venues which was very much appreciated given our lack of local knowledge. She also provided a full run down on the administrative protocols required. Despite not meeting Dee until minutes prior to the ceremony, her communications gave us complete confidence that we were in good hands. Our ceremony went off without a hitch and all of our guests commented how wonderful Dee was. We would highly recommend Dee to any prospective couples.

Dee was amazing!! She was our day of coordinator and the officiant. She was great for both. She did an amazing job of fielding questions and issues during the day of dealing with family and friends who didn't always give her a chance to explain something before asking questions. She worked great with all of our vendors and even asked the DJ to do us a favor by DJing our event at no extra cost, when usually scheduling him specifically with his company costs a little extra. The day was perfect and everything would not have gone as smoothly without her. She also did a great job as the officiant because she was able to organize it all and know what she was doing when I had no idea what to do.

Dee a fantastic job at our ceremony. She arrived ahead of time for our sunrise wedding ceremony and helped to make it truly spectacular and unforgettable. Her warm, lovely demeanor, smile and perfect balance of calmness and enthusiasm are the reasons we chose her. She sent a variety of choices of verbiage well in advance for our ceremony and was very accommodating when I edited some of the language and added our own. She needed very little instruction and seemed calm, natural and flexible throughout our intimate ceremony. Dee was wonderful, flexible, easy to talk to. She was able to do everything start to finish in under 24 hours yet still made it feel very special. We have no complaints at all, am very happy all around and would use her again in the future should we decide to go with a renew of the vows with a large amount of people etc.

Dee was fantastic! She was the officiant for my daughter's wedding on the beach. The wedding took place in the late afternoon and she was very helpful to suggest a place on the beach where the incoming tide was not a problem. The wedding began about half hour later than scheduled and Dee was very patient and understanding. She showed no signs of being bothered by anything and was so friendly. She made it so comfortable for the bride and groom by smiling and presenting the vows cheerfully. The price was very reasonable, and well worth her services. I highly recommend calling Knot Your Ordinary Officiant for your wedding.

Dee was quick to respond to any questions we had and communicated well with us. She provided many script options for us to choose from. We had some issues with the sound system at the venue but Dee handled it well. We were extremely happy with her services.

Dee perfromed our wedding ceremony shortly after midnight on New Years Eve. Both her and her husband were in attendance with our family and friends. That made the night even more exciting, especailly when our surprised guests saw everyone gather around and watch Dee perfrom the ceremony. My husband and I were delighted to have Dee as our wedding officiant. She has the most wonderful energy about her and delivered a beautifully written exchange of vows in a last minute notice. Dee was absolutely the BEST!!! I contacted several officiants from Wedding Wire, and chose Dee because of her quick response as well as her continued emails within hours of our first communication. During the weeks leading up to our wedding day, she stayed in constant contact with me, giving me ideas for vows and decor for our beach wedding, as well as offering any assistance she could provide. On our wedding day, she arrived in plenty of time and came up to my hotel room offering to help with any last minute details to ensure my day went exactly as planned! I must mention that I was running late, almost 45 min late, she told me not to worry she had no other ceremonies to perform that day, and to take my time (most other officiants I checked out charged extra fees if the wedding party was late NOT DEE!!) Our vows were PERFECT, reflecting our feelings immaculately, and presented with such feeling! After the ceremony, she stayed a little while offering to help take our beach side decor down.
As others have said in their reviews, DEE TRULY LOVES WHAT SHE DOES and is reflected every time you talk with her. Dee, we cannot thank you enough for the beautiful ceremony you created for us. We both agreed that it was hands down the best part of our wedding day. I still get emotional thinking about it, and so many guests commented on how much they loved it. I think they also enjoyed hearing our story, both those who knew it already, and those who were hearing it for the first time. Many family members and friends are used to 'church weddings' so I think they were surprised at how lovely and meaningful our choice of ceremony was...probably even more so than the traditions they are accustomed to. I'll thank you more profusely by phone and probably in several more e-mails, but until then, please know that you are so talented at what you do and brought a unique quality to the most meaningful ritual of our life. Dee let us create our own ceremony based on options she has available, and incorporated all of our changes seamlessly. We had an outdoor ceremony with 80 people, and as far as I know everyone was able to hear, even with the wind blowing and no microphone. She was prompt, replied to our emails and calls quickly, and was very helpful with all of the wedding paperwork. On top of that, she's a very sweet person! It was great to have her as our officiant, and we're so happy she was able to work with us!

The quality was above what I expected. The service was beautiful & all the things the bride & groom wanted was incorporated into the service. Dee was very professional when performing the ceremony with some comic relief when the time came to see if anyone objected to the marriage. We had a beach wedding & Dee was very flexible & accommodating when the bride arrived late due to traffic. Due to the environment we were in, the beach, a small portable sound unit would have made the ceremony easier to hear. All questions were answered within a reasonable response time & I would definitely use Dee again & recommend her with high marks.

Dee was very flexible, a great communicator (which is extremely important when planning a wedding), easy to work with, completely designed our ceremony according to our wishes and was very pleasant. Dee was wonderful to work with. I reached out to a few people in the area and she was the first to respond.

She had many options for us to choose from for a script and was able to accommodate our needs

I would absolutely recommend Dee! She was very kind and helpful at the rehearsal and during our ceremony. She had the great suggestion to have my groom turn around until I got to the top of the aisle so he could be surprised - she has clearly done this before! I would have liked if Dee had called me on the phone to work out some details during my engagement. We did everything via email and had never spoken on the phone or in person until the rehearsal day. But she was very responsive via email, I was never worried about her, and she definitely got the job done! She was lovely to work with and you will not regret choosing her!

Dee was great as our officiant and made our wedding day that much more special. She was available for phone calls and emails throughout the whole process leading up to the big day.

She was super flexible, as we needed to actually move up our ceremony time up a few hours. Dee was able to pull through and everything turned out great. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing an officiant.

Dee is a nice enough lady. She was willing to meet via Skype for our initial consultation, which was nice of her. Although I felt a little rushed and pulled in lots of different directions by her occasionally, I could tell that her heart was in the right place. I'm glad we did the rehearsal, since parts of the items she had were a little wrong and had to be amended again. I'm pretty sure I mentioned that I also wanted to acknowledge my grandmother during the ceremony, but I can't remember for sure. The timing was bad for the rehearsal, as she lives in Orange Park and got caught on the Buchman and was about an hour or so late. That's ok though, as I know how bad that bridge can be. There was a very bad accident that night. She was good about letting us know and calling to keep me updated on her location. Luckily, nothing went wrong on the day-of and she was very good at guiding us on what to say and do so that there were no awkward moments. Thank you very much, Dee. We appreciate your help and expertise.

Overall the ceremony was good and was what I expected. The fact that she asked for her remaining payment two times while I was in the middle of getting my hair done was less then professional and rude. I expected her to finish the ceremony and once we were done with pictures to have our witnesses sign the marriage license and leave. Instead she stayed for the most of the reception which was kind of unprofessional also. She also made it a point to tell me I should thank my guests which was definately uncalled for. She was hired to officate the wedding and that was it. If you want a party crasher then please by all means hire. I wasnt stressed at all during my wedding day until she arrived. She also thought it was her job to tell my photographer, caterer and DJ how to do their jobs which they didnt appreciate.
