Fantastic experience!

The KMI photography team were so great to work with. They we able to capture all the special moments of our wedding day. We could not be happier with the photos and videos they created for us. Highly recommend them for any photography or videography needs!

10/10 KMI Photography Experience

We cannot recommend KMI Photography enough! Kevin came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator and several of our other vendors, and after working with him, we completely understand why. The glowing reviews we read about him speak for themselves, but after our first phone call with Kevin, we knew he was the perfect choice.

Kevin was incredibly patient and kind, going above and beyond to answer all our questions as first-time newlyweds. His calming presence made the planning process so much easier. He provided an amazing online portal with questionnaires that captured all the important details, like the schedule of the day and the people and moments we wanted photographed. Kevin also stayed in regular communication leading up to the wedding, even sharing helpful advice from his own marriage that we deeply appreciated.

On the day of the wedding, Kevin was prompt, professional, and completely in his element. When we received the final images, we were absolutely thrilled—words can’t describe how beautifully he captured our special day. The memories he preserved for us are priceless, and we’ll cherish them for the rest of our lives.

To top it off, the editing process was incredibly fast—much quicker than we’ve heard from anyone else! Kevin’s attention to detail and efficiency blew us away.

Thank you, Kevin, and the entire KMI Photography team, for making our wedding one of the best days of our lives. We will forever be grateful!

Amazing wedding photos and videos!!

Pictures are beyond expectations!

Lauren was an absolute dream to work with for our intimate wedding this past May! She captured the perfect mix of candids and beautifully posed family portraits. When we looked through the photos, we were in awe of how well she captured the night! She was kind, intentional with how she structured the night (in terms of photography), and stayed true to the types of images we wanted from our wedding. We honestly couldn’t be any happier! It’s been over 6 months since our wedding and we still get so many comments about how lovely our photos are and how they look like they belong in a wedding magazine! We are so thankful for Lauren!! She’s the best!

Great experience

Lauren and her team were a pleasure to work with! From the start they provided ideas, suggestions and support to make the process really easy for us (especially with so much pandemic uncertainty). They made us feel extremely comfortable, while still listening to our requests and we had a blast taking the photos. Our sneak peek photos are beautiful and I can't wait to see the rest and the video and can't thank them enough for being a part of our special day! HIGHLY recommend!

So Amazing & Talented!

My photography and videography were the one thing that I wanted to really invest in for my wedding and I’m so glad I did. Lauren and her crew were amazing and so talented. They definitely exceeded our expectations. I will be hiring them again for my boudoir photos for mine and my husband’s one year anniversary!!

Beautiful pictures!

Kevin and Lauren are so sweet. I’m not very comfortable with taking pictures, I tend to get really nervous in the spotlight. They made me feel very comfortable and had great suggestions for good places to take pictures. The quality of the pictures they sent are amazing and they clearly understand lighting. I’m so excited to see how our wedding video turns out!

Amazing- flexible and professional!

AMAZING to work with!

We used KMI Photography for our engagement shoot, wedding photos, and videography and we could not be happier with how everything turned out! They were so quick to answer any question we had throughout our 2 year engagement. We had never been professionally photographed before, so we felt a little awkward during our initial engagement shoot, but Kevin immediately put us at ease and walked us through everything. During our wedding, their team was so on top of everything and captured every last detail perfectly. The turnaround time for our pictures after our wedding was much quicker than we anticipated! Kevin & Lauren are the best!

Beach Family Photos

While KMI's wedding photography is clearing OUTSTANDING... Kevin the President of the company recently took our family photos while we were on a vacation on Topsail Island, North Carolina.

I have worked with a few different photographers for my own wedding and family photos back in the Midwest and Kevin was hands down the best I have worked with when it came to interacting with children! We had 4 children in our family photos ranging from age 6 months up to 6 years old and he was successfully and getting everyone to smile and look at the camera. It is very clear that he is experienced working with kids which his a huge bonus. He was kind, gentle, funny, and so laid back/easy going. Everyone in our party had different requests for shots and Kevin was very accommodating. We will return to NC in the future with a larger group and I will definitely be booking KMI Photography again!!!!

Best team to let you relive your day!!

Using KMI is one of greatest decisions we made for our wedding!! They were able to capture our entire day so that can go back and relive it all again!! We also did their video package, which we loved! Kevin and his team were easy to work with too when I requested changes in the video!! I highly recommend Kevin and his team for any upcoming engagements or weddings! We will be sure to continue using them in the future!

Wedding Photography

To make the memory of your wedding day last forever, you need photographers who know what they are doing. Kevin and Lauren at KMI Photography know exactly what moments to capture to make this happen. They are so wonderful and easy to work with. My husband and I recently received our pictures from our special day and as we were looking through them we looked at each other and both said "I feel like I am there right now reliving this day". All the pictures were so beautiful and captured everything so perfectly. We highly recommend KMI Photography. They are truly the best!

Felt like Family

Kevin was absolutely amazing on all counts! He arrived right on time, was very helpful in making sure we could take pictures where we wanted, did not mind special request photos on a seconds notice, took his time, helped pick sand spurs out of my dress, he literally fit in like family and I could not imagine having had anyone else there to capture our special day.

Phenomenal photography

KMI did a phenomenal job on our photos. He was easy going (which put everyone at ease and made for more beautiful and natural photos). He was flexible in dealing with squirmy kiddos, and environmental quirks (lots of wind and sand) and creative with getting the shots that we wanted while maintaining a natural journalistic style. The photos were beautifully edited and were sent to us very quickly.

We had Lauren as our photographer for our wedding day. She and our two videographers were amazing. They guided us and our bridal party every step of the way. Kevin is awesome!

We hired Kevin for 4 hours and he did awesome! Great personality and he definitely knows what he is doing! He was able to fix my dress and veil to lay perfectly in every photo. he truly listened to what we wanted and made them come to life! We got a sneak peak the next day and we are in LOVE with the photos. Our family and friends are in awe with his talent for photography. We can not wait to see them all in just a few short weeks! Excellent Photographer

KMI Photography did a fabulous job with our wedding photos. Jenny was our photographer for the big day and she was very nice and personable, she also had great ideas for different shots. We took photos indoors and outdoors and she took some fabulous candid shots as well. She works great with adults and kids. Our overall experience with KMI was great, they kept in contact with us leading up to our wedding and made sure we had everything prepared that we needed. We received our photos about a month after the ceremony which was super fast! All the photos look great and we are really pleased with the work KMI did, we highly recommend them!

KMI was great! My fiance and I just used him for an Engagement Shoot and were a little nervous going in, as we didn't know what to expect, but our worries were quickly abated as soon as we met Kevin. He was fun, easy-going, and very down to earth. A quick chat led to a fast photo shoot which returned some fantastic shots of my fiance and I that I know we'll cherish. Kevin and Adam were absolutely amazing! You can tell they know what they are doing and directed us every step of the way. There professionalism and knowledge were above and beyond what I expected. Just remember you get what you pay for and while the services aren’t cheap they are definitely reasonable for the service they are providing. I knew I wanted to book Jenny Simpson to photograph my daughter’s wedding. She had done some awesome family photo sessions for friends. When I contacted her she let me now that she does weddings through KMI photography. I contacted Kevin Millard at KMI and was impressed by how he runs his company. The team at KMI is very responsive, organized and creative. Jenny was the perfect blend of nice and authoritative. She had great time management skills and got more shots through the day then a team of 2 or 3 lesser skilled photographers could have. I haven’t received the proofs yet, but have no doubt they will exceed my high expectations!

Lauren was great to work with she was very sweet and very professional. She was all over the dance floor with us making sure to capture all of the action which was awesome! She made sure to get all the right family shots which we all really appreciated. She also was fine with us giving ideas of particular photos we wanted. I asked them for a sneak peek and they got me one within a week or less. The only thing I wish they had done differently would be to email me the sneak peek rather than posting it on Facebook because one of the pictures of me I wasn't a fan of, just because I don't like my profile.

My original photographer and videographer cancelled on me last minute due to Hurricane Matthew. KMI not only came in and excited but helped us with our budget as well. We are so happy things turned out the way they did! I highly recommend them! The photos were super classy and not over filtered (like I've seen with some photographers. We love KMI!!!

Kevin & Lauren were so great to work with! Our photos turned out absolutely amazing! We had 215 favorites out of all the photos they took, but 215 was such a hard number to get down too. We loved them all! What I appreciated the most was the amount of time it took to get the photos edited and into our hands. It only took a week or two in the peek of the fall wedding season! What bride wants to wait 6-8+ weeks to see their photos?! I highly recommend KMI Photography to any bride and groom! You won't be disappointed!

Kevin was awesome to work with and worked with what we wanted done for our very casual ceremony. He set up a photo booth with awesome props at our reception and everyone LOVED it. It was so fun and gave everyone strips of their photos to keep as a souvenir. So much better than Jordan almonds and other junk favors. :) he was reasonably priced and let us go "a la carte" since we didn't need formal photos.

We absolutely loved KMI and would recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect wedding photographer. Kevin was responsive, attentive, helpful and extremely thoughtful during both our engagement session and wedding day (and the time in between!) Kevin and his team are the best!! He was very responsive and absolutely wonderful when it came to making me feel less stressed about the whole process! Jenny was actually our photographer and I couldn't ask for better! She was so sweet and personable and got the shots we wanted before the sun set on the riverfront! By the end of the night she became part of our family and I was sad to see her go! I can not wait to see the final product but from the brief review she gave me, I KNOW they will be stunning! Lauren & Kevin were a true pleasure to work with for my daughter's wedding. Lauren was the actual photographer, and did an absolutely fantastic job. The pictures are wonderful! We were truly blown away by them. She captured the true spirit of the wedding, which was fun. Lauren & Kevin were both great and very easy to work with. They were always accessible by phone or email. They also provide other services that we took advantage of, a photo booth, which was great and a lot of fun, and sparklers. We are SO very happy with our decision to hire KMI to shoot both our engagement and wedding photographs! Kevin shot our engagement photos and Lauren and Jenny shot our wedding. Kevin and his team are amazing! They did our engagement photos and wedding photos, and we could not have asked for better pictures. Jenny was an absolute doll to work with. She was extremely personable and professional. She took charge when necessary which is exactly what we needed and what I asked for!! Loved the quality, quantity, and style of photos provided by KMI! Their price point was more than gracious for the amount of work put into our wedding (2 photographers for 7 hours). They dressed professionally, engaged with the bridal party and wedding guests, and assisted however possible. (They even helped me purchase some last minute sparklers!) With a very busy season, their turn-around time for editing more than 700 photos was roughly 7 weeks. (Which is great if you've ever edited imagery before!) Their personalities kept everyone on track for photos without being demanding or too relaxed and potentially missing shots on our requested list. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention the personal favor they did my family--stepmom was diagnosed with cancer and only three weeks after the wedding, quickly sent me a few edited shots of us with her to frame as a birthday gift. It brightened the holidays and meant A LOT to our family. We loved the experience and truly appreciated their work. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed working with them.

If you want your wedding images to look exactly like the ones you see in bridal magazines, stop right now and book KMI. Photography is one of the most important things you'll spend money on for your wedding, and Kevin and Lauren are AMAZING. They do GREAT work and captured every moment of our wedding perfectly. The images are such great quality and I can't imagine choosing any other photographers - and I researched a LOT..but was THRILLED that KMI still had our date available as they are notorious around town for being the BEST! Everytime I told a vendor we had booked KMI, they had nothing but wonderful things to say- which gave me great confidence that they were the perfect choice. Kevin was incredibly quick to respond to every e-mail and Lauren was so friendly to work with day-of. She was great at wrangling our HUGE bridal party together for pictures (8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen is a lot to handle..especially when you add in alcohol!) and knew what to tell us so that we looked our best in the images. Plus they sent us the sweetest, most thoughtful gifts after we booked and when we got our images back. I can't pick which wedding pictures are my favorite because ALL of them are amazing.

Kevin with KMi Photography was the perfect photographer for our wedding! I searched several photographers in the Wilmington area and it was the moments that Kevin captured from previous weddings that made me decide to have him as our photographer. I found KMI Photography through a beautiful Facebook photograph of an acquaintance at her wedding in Wilmington. I immediatly sent Lauren and Kevin a message on their website… and the rest is history! Lauren photographed our engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding day. KMI photography was the perfect pick for my Duke Chapel Wedding last January! My now husband and I actually were thinking about getting married in Wilmington, which is where we stumbled upon KMI photography. My husband was so impressed by Kevin's professionalism that when we found out we actually could get married at Duke Chapel, we still wanted to use KMI photography! My brother- and sister-in-law hired KMI Photography for their wedding a few years ago and after seeing the pictures I knew I wanted to use them when I got married. The first thing I did after choosing a tentative wedding date was to call Kevin to make sure they were available. Having admired their work for years, I had high expectations and KMI completely lived up to them. Kevin and his assistant made my husband and I feel completely at ease on our wedding day. There was no awkward or forced posing; everything felt really natural. I wanted pictures taken in a few different locations and Kevin and his assistant never seemed anything less than perfectly happy to lug their equipment all over the island. They also had great suggestions for pictures we wouldn't have thought of. Choosing a photographer for our wedding was one of the most nerve wracking things for us. We didn't want someone who was going to put us in awkward poses and shoot lots of mushy pictures. We wanted candid, fun photos and we knew KMI was for us. Before the wedding, Lauren assured us that being followed around by a camera for hours on end wouldn't be so bad and she was right! She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She realized quickly which kind of pictures made us uncomfortable and directed us accordingly. She knew so many cool spots around downtown Wilmington to take pictures. Lauren is so professional and really easy to get along with. I felt like she fit right in at our wedding.

We just got our first look at the pictures - they are great and just exactly what we had envisioned...casual, candid moments of the two of us and our family and friends. Perfect!

I cannot praise Kevin enough for his dedication, skill, and kindness. After having a bad experience with a different photographer, the one that had taken our engagement pictures, I realized how important it was to have a photographer that is not only talented, but also listens to what you want and is friendly. I learned a lot from that experience and I am so happy that I decided to have Kevin (and his assistant Josh) photograph our wedding. Not only did they take incredible pictures, they also made us feel comfortable and that made taking pictures so much more fun (it is your wedding day after all so its important that you have fun). We also rented a photo booth through KMI, which our guests RAVED about. Everyone had a great time and the photo strips made the perfect wedding favors for our guests to take home with them.

Kevin was flexible from the beginning; he was willing to work with us so that we could figure out a way to get what we wanted without going over our budget. In short, Kevin is extremely talented and very easy to work with, what more could you ask for?

We have amazing photos from our wedding thanks to Kevin and Lauren. Do not skimp on your wedding photos, you will regret it! You will spend more on KMI than some other photographers, but they give you a copyright release and beautiful magazine-like photos to have the rest of your lives. They are wonderful people and photographers!

I can't say enough good things about Kevin and Lauren! They were a dream to work with from beginning to end. They love what they do and it shows. My husband and I were married a year and a half ago and I STILL look at my wedding pictures all the time. Their talent is amazing and they are so much fun to work with! Having two photographers allows for different perspectives, which is awesome. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I can say, without hesitation, that these guys are the best! They went above and beyond my expectations. We were so pleased with our wedding pictures and album. The pictures were breathtaking! Everyone who views our album talks about how amazing our pictures turned out. In fact, we were so pleased with the pictures-we're ready to find another reason to use Kevin and Lauren!!

Well our wedding has come and gone, but if you are reading this chances are you are going through the stressful planning of your own. My wife and I can honestly say we were 100% satisfied with KMI Photo. Their pictures turned out like a dream, and the fact that they give you a full copyright release is priceless. Kevin and his wife did a fantastic job at our wedding, and I canno't recommend them enough. They are not the cheapest photographers, but they are well worth the price. We loved having 2 photographers also. They did an amazing job of capturing the reception, and all the moments in it, and are almost invisable the whole time, allowing you to have fun without the pressure of a camera.

Again, I cannot compliment KMI enough, and everyone we know (even recently married) have said they love the photos, and wished their photographers/pictures had turned out that well. If you have the means for KMI then I really wouldnt look any further. Good luck with your wedding, and the many happy years ahead.

The easiest decision we had to make when planning our wedding was choosing the photographers. Kevin and Lauren Millard from kmifoto.com came highly recommended and after meeting them and seeing their amazing work on kmifoto.com we knew they were meant to shoot our special day. They are a young, adventurous couple that has a very artistic approach to their wedding photography. We loved the fact that they didn�t spend too much time on traditional pictures but looked for the unique moments that could capture our day. Everyone loves our photos from KMI and they all say the same thing: "your pictures look like something in a magazine." Kevin and Lauren were fantastic to work with. My fiancée and I contacted KMI Photography for a last minute photography request to shoot our engagement photos. I am scheduled to deploy soon and we didn't have much time. Not only was. Kevin able to shoot our engagement but the photos were unreal! He was funny and fun and we had a great time. Several times we forgot he was even taking photos we were having so much fun. When we saw the final pictures we could never have believed that they would be this beautiful. I have already referred KMI to everyone that I know who is looking for a photographer. They are the best!

We would highly recommend KMI. Kevin was very responsive and the photographer, Josh was professional but very fun to work with. He was able to keep the timeline on track but without making anyone feel rushed. Great pictures!!

Keven and Lauren were timely and professional and our wedding photos are lovely :) The videographers were able to capture special moments without killing the moment. I was able to just focus on my big day and didn't have to lift a finger. They thought of everything and the day went very smoothly. Will definitely keep them in mind for future shoots.

Kevin did an incredible job capturing moments at pur wedding. I was specific.in the must have pictures I wanted and he took every one of them! Splurging on a photographer is so worth it, it's the only thing you have left after the wedding day! I am able to relive that day any time I want with Kevin's amazing pictures.

Kevin and Lauren are wonderful! We just got our photos back and LOVE them. While they were so kind on our wedding day, we barely noticed that they were there because they were so unobtrusive. Highly recommended. Professional and easy to work with...great photographers!

Every photo is AMAZING!

It is the best problem to have - having too many great photos to pick just one favorite. We had Kevin as our photographer. He was efficient, quick and knew EXACTLY what he was doing. We couldn't be happier with the photos and the service.

We made the unfortunate decision to hire Kevin at KMI Photography for our May wedding. We live in NJ so I went off of reviews and really shouldn't have continued with his service after the first meeting with him. He was very quick to say YES to everything and how great he was interacting with guest and will take care of all we asked for...I was very detailed as I have been in the wedding planning business for 20+ years and we had specific request. He met NONE of them. His photography was sub-par and when trying the nice way to communicate our displeasure he started the blame game on the rest of our vendors. We were at a beautiful country club with perfect back drops for photographs (the weather was even in his favor) and he chose to "snap" shots of our guest in the club hallways or with no ambiance surrounding guest. The pictures were over-exposed, blurry or out of focus, and the least amount of creativity I have ever seen from photographer. All of the important moments at a wedding were paused so we could find our photographer (he was alway next to the girl at the photo booth). Being the busy bride I couldn’t search for him for everything so he missed us signing the license and the arrival of the Krispy Kreme truck. There were minimal shots of us with family and friends (only 70 guest in total), and upon further review he missed entire tables of guest. Not sure how this was even possible as the small number of guest and we did a luncheon without dancing so he had so much time. So disappointing. You have been warned.
