    Kerry, Cori, and Megan were amazing at our wedding this weekend! They did hair and makeup for 5 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and the bride. They were super fun to spend the day with, very flexible, and very accommodating. They didn't mind when a few girls asked for a hair change or additional make up, they understood that I (the bride) didn't want to be ready super early in the day, and everyone looked amazing. Kerry is very responsive and understood what each girl wanted. I didn't realize until the day of our wedding how important it was to have an awesome makeup and hair team and I am so thankful that our wedding coordinator recommended KLH. Thank you, ladies!!!

    Kerry did the makeup for the four women in the bridal party and both mothers of the bride and groom for my wedding last weekend. She did the most amazing job making us all beautiful. She really listened to what we wanted to make sure our makeup was perfect and represented our personalities. When she was almost complete with my makeup and found an imperfection, she took part of it off and started again. The service was flawless and exactly what I wanted and needed for the big day. Kerry is a true professional and takes her work very seriously while also having a blast. Thanks to Kerry, my bridal party and I looked fabulous throughout the entirety of the event. I am so thankful to Kerry to adding a beautiful touch to our big day!

    I chose KLH for my wedding day after great reviews from a friend who was recently married. Kerry and Cory exceeded my expectations. I first met them at my hair and makeup trial, where they made me feel extremely comfortable and they are so easy to work with. On the wedding day, the entire bridal party including both mothers, looked absolutely stunning. My hair and makeup stayed in place the entire night, and I received so many compliments. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great hair and makeup team on your wedding day.

    First of all I am not the type of person to write reviews but Kerry and Cori of KLH makeup artistry were amazing! They really helped make my wedding weekend that much more special. I loved their work during my trial months before the wedding but they blew me away when they did my hair and make up for my rehearsal dinner. Their work was amazing and I had so many compliments all night which made me so excited to see what they would do for the actual wedding day make up. They made me and my large bridal party feel so relaxed and Kerry was just so fun to hang out with as she worked her magic. I honestly can say that I felt absolutely beautiful that day. Overall, I had a great experience with them and I strongly recommend them! They are worth it!

    Kerry and her stylists are great! Our makeup looked natural and not caked on. All the hairstyles were unique to each bridal party member. They also styled two junior bridesmaid's hair and it held through the night! Which is a true testament to their ability.

    Kerry was a great makeup artist and our hair stylist was wonderful too. I wanted a natural look that would hold up over the hours of dancing and Kerry delivered!

    Kerry and Patty Ann arrived on time, got everything setup and started makeup and hair for the six bridesmaids. The Bride and Mother of the Bride only had makeup done by Kerry. They were very professional, personable, provided terrific service, and finished in time for everyone to get to the wedding. Everyone loved their makeup and hair. It was a beautiful wedding party, thanks to Kerry and Patty Ann. We would highly recommend them.

    I loved working with Kerry, she was fun to be around during the process and I loved my make-up. I did two trials, I liked the first one but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for so I just gave Kerry more information on the look I wanted and she got it perfectly for the second trial and the wedding day!

    I was super excited with the look that KLH Make-up Artistry was able to create for me on my wedding day. Kerry was very professional and flexible...as well as reasonable in price. I went to her home for my trial run and then she came to me on the big day so I didn't have to leave our wedding location at all! She did make-up for some of the mothers and bridal party and everyone looked AMAZING! I would definitely recommend her services for your big day.

    KLH was great, a major part of my wedding day being such a success. I can't count how many compliments I've received on my wedding pictures and how many times I've had to tell people "but I don't normally look that way".... LOL. In the end, the effect was stunning and magical without making me look unnatural OR feel uncomfortable. Being able to have hair and makeup done in the comfort of my own home for my wedding party was worth its weight in gold and anyone considering KLH will not be disappointed. Five stars!

    Kerry was great and really patient with my bridal party. The work was amazing and I can't wait to see my large prints made because all of the digital proofs were great. She was also very professional and reasonably priced.

    Kerry is a fantastic makeup artist! She was able to make my imperfect skin look perfect! She is also very professional and always prepared for the unexpected! I would, and do, recommend her to everyone I know!

    Kerry is so professional, she responded to my inquirery in good time. She was so easy working around my busy wedding schedule, that making plans with her was a breeze. The product she used on my face felt and looked so natural, and it lasted the entire day. We did do air brush make-up. Loved it! And her ability to make me feel so beautiful and relzxed just added to my special day. I highly recommend Kerry for the flawless make over. And her cost is well worth it! Thank you Kerry.

    Kerry did an amazing job on my makeup for my wedding! She gave me the PERFECT look and my pictures came out great. She also did my Mom's makeup without ever meeting her or doing a trial and my Mom looked gorgeous. We were both so thrilled with the outcome. I would highly recommend Kerry to anyone - she's the best!!

    I'm so glad I found Kerry and that she was able to be apart of making my wedding day so special! She did make up for both my mom and I and it was amazing. I loved that she was able to come to my house and was so flexible with all we had going on. She is very friendly, professional and knowledgable about what she does, which helped be relax on what was an otherwise stressful morning! She is really passionate about what she does, and really wanted to make sure I was happy with what she did, even at my trial. It meant alot to me that I wasn't just another appointment to her, and I couldn't say that about anyother places I had visited!

    I had my trial with Kerry the day of my engagement photo session--after she worked on me for a while, I didn't feel like the colors were just right, so she redid all the eye make-up. I HIGHLY reccommend the air brushing! She even does the eye make-up with it. Through lots and lots of tears that make up stayed on like paint! One of my bridesmaids (who paid MUCH more for her make up on her own wedding day) even said, "My make-up looks so much better now than it did on my wedding day!" Kerry is very professional but really puts her clients at ease. My mom got her make-up done (after much resistance) and was so pleased with how gentle and calming she was! I will definitely hire Kerry again for any sort of special event!
    As a note, she is listed as being in Winchester, however she works out of a studio in Haymarket. For me, due to time constraints, she came to the hair salon to do most of the girls, and then we all went to the studio for myself and two more to get done. The studio was a perfect place to bring in some small tea sandwiches, crackers and cheese, champagne, etc for the girls.

    My bridesmaid and myself all got hair and make up done. We actually ran over time so by the end we were rushing to get to the venue. I had gotten my tattoo covered up which was great at frist but by the end of the night it had actually started to ware off. My make up was to be tear proof and I did shed a tear and it left a streak which my bridesmaid fixed for me. Otherwise it was all great.

    Kerri's ability to transform me from a "regular" person to someone who looked truly stunning was amazing. She could possibly the most skilled and talented make-up artist you will find in the area. Working with Kerri was a fabulous experience. I highly recommend her.

    They did an amazing job making my bridal party, family, and myself beautiful for the day of. All of the ladies did a great job and I would use them again! A little expensive for bridal party, but definitely worth it for the bride!

    I was referred to KLH by a friend who had her wedding make-up done by Kerry. Like most, I wasn�t sure what to expect, but was willing to try anything�and boy did it pay off! My �day of� makeup was even better than I remembered at the trail. Kerry had all the supplies and provided me with my own lipstick for touch-ups that night. I went to 2 salons and the convenience of having Kerry come to me was worth it! I felt rushed at both salons and questioned the products at one (which didn't look new, fresh, or clean). I was impressed that Kerry showed up on time, prepared and had new mascara, lipstick and eyelashes for me (this was just at the trial!) I would recommend Kerry (KLH) as a professional make-up artist who was prepared, on time, and knowledgeable. The complements I received on my make-up (especially my eyes) reassured me of my choice. For all those brides contemplating doing your own make-up�I highly recommend reconsidering. Schedule a trial with Kerry before you go to a salon...you'll thank me :)

    I used Kerry's Hellwig's makeup services for my Wedding; and also Patti's for hair. It took 2 trials to get both hair and Makeup right, which was expensive, but worth it. I looked like a Queen on my Wedding Day; and my Maid-of-Honor looked soooo good! We barely even recognized ourselves when we looked at pictures from November 4th, 2012! And might I add, neither Patti or Kerry had seen my M.O.H. before that day - and she needed more help with hair and makeup than she'd originally thought.

    What was really nice is that both Kerry and Patti made me feel relaxed when getting hair and makeup done, because I don't normally wear makeup or go get my hair done. So messing with either, or having those services performed is a bit off-putting for me; and my M.O.H. it was also very nice of Kerry to come all the way out to HayMarket at Patti's home salon, so it would be more convenient for me, as she was coming from Winchester.

    But where they both really shone was on the Big Day, where they ran around and helped me get all the table favors and decorations up, since the previous wedding ran over and the previous' brides' stuff was still there! They didn't have to do that. And they huffed ALL the wedding gear to and from the Manor house several times, so it would be convenient for me to get dressed once they'd done with my hair and makeup. Again, they didn't have to do that.

    Most of all, I appreciated their calm demeanor, when, after setting up the Reception Hall, I was finally able to sit down and let them work on me. Now their services aren't cheap - even with Patti discounting my second hair trial, but for how good I looked, and how both my hair and makeup stayed looking good the whole wedding, they're worth it. I just wish Kerry had been able to do my makeup for the Engagement Photo session at Great Falls Forest Park as we'd talked about prior to the photos, but I understand that kids' health issues don't take adults' schedules into consideration.

    I attended a wedding and this was the makeup artist hired. I found her work to be very amateur. She did utilize airbrush makeup, which I think worked OK. However, for a bride I would expect a high level of contouring, precision, and elegance. I've worked with many makeup artists and her work was unimpressive. The bride had no contouring done, and her eyes were not blended well nor did they pop out at all.
    I had her do my airbrush makeup for hold, however after watching her do the bride's makeup immediately said I would do my own. I also had to go back and touch up with concealer because it simply was not a flawless application (under eyes were not brightened, and neckline was not blended).
    She was very nice; my comments are based on skill.

    After the trial with Kerry and Cori, I was "sold" and very impressed with their quality of work. I felt that I was in good hands, making the price worthwhile.

    The morning of the wedding unfortunately, was a different story. They showed up late, at least 15 minutes after me and my bridesmaids, but I initially was fine with it, because I trusted them and their wedding prep-expereince.

    Where things ended up falling apart was when they started on my make-up and hair after lunch, which ended up being WAY too late. Although they told me during the trial that I, the bride, was the number one priority, I ended up feeling like the left-overs.

    Perhaps this could have been avoided by adding another hair or make-up person because we had 4 people getting make-up and 8 people getting hair done.

    Because we got started on my make-up and hair so late, it ended up cutting into our very expensive "first-look" time with our photographer (which we carefully created a timeline for) when then cut into other important photo time.

    With this realization, I wound up in tears. I had been under the impression everything was under control, when in fact in hindsight I feel I needed to be my own stage manager that day (which everyone says should not be the case).

    By the time I got to hair, I was extremely stressed, but again, knew I was in good hands, that is until Cori asked me what I wanted to do with my hair, as if the hair-trial had never happened! I felt as if it was becoming a cruel joke. We also felt so rushed that my headband was not as secure as it should have been and fell out during our first dance.

    Although the quality of the make-up and hair was good (they know what they're doing), unfortunately this aspect of my wedding ended up being the most stressful part, which is still shocking to me.

    In a nutshell, good quality artists, but I felt like I was an "after-thought" on the biggest day of my life.
