Buying my dress at Kleinfeld was an incredible experience from start to finish. My consultant was a genius—she actually pulled a dress I never would have considered for myself, and it ended up being 'the one!' I’m so glad I trusted her vision.
The alterations team was equally amazing. They are absolute masters of their craft and made sure the gown fit me like a second skin. Every bead and seam was perfect. If you want the iconic bridal experience and a dress that fits flawlessly, this is the place! -

My stylist (Kristy) was great -- super friendly and truly understood what I was going for. The seamstress (Lule) was phenomenal. Extremely easy to work with and such an artist re. making everything fit perfectly. Would highly recommend! -

I wasn't planning on saying yes to the dress my first time shopping, but it happened at Kleinfeld! My bridal stylist Gabi was so helpful upon our arrival to the shop, I said yes to the 5th dress I tried on! My fitter Lule who did my alterations was so talented, I only needed 2 fittings instead of 3! Shopping here made finding my dress a breeze and it was so much fun to be in the store after watching say yes to the dress for years growing up. -

I had a specific vision for wedding dresses that I felt like were very "me" going into the shopping process, and so I had ones in mind for trying on. I ended up going with an Augusta Jones dress, and I loved it in every way. My wedding was on October 8, 2023, and I felt so beautiful in my Augusta Jones wedding dress. From the moment I tried it on back in February, I knew I loved it and that it was the one for me.
The dress shopping experience was great, and many thanks go to Lauren for helping me make the most of my appointment! Lauren was so sweet as I didn't buy my dress right away on the day of my initial shopping appointment, but ended up doing so a day or two later once I was certain that was the one for me. She helped me pay for and order my dress without needing to return to Kleinfeld as I was back home in MA at that point in time.
Maria worked on my alterations for the dress in the couple months leading up to the wedding, and she was also wonderful! Maria is so friendly, personable, and takes the time to get to know everyone who attends the dress fitting appointments. My mom, mom-in-law, bridesmaid, and maid of honor all loved chatting with Maria during those appointments as much I did! Maria is extremely talented and I knew I was in good hands with her throughout the process.
I know there are some mixed reviews here about Kleinfeld, but I personally feel like they have such an incredible selection of dresses for every bride and I really had an amazing experience with every team member who helped me out at my appointments. -

Lisa Fuhrman, stylist from Kleinfeld bridal in NYC really listens and knows her brides. When I arrived for the first time, she already had chosen a few dresses for me to try on and were already in the dressing room waiting for me. I tried on 6 dresses and chose the first one I tried on. I loved my dress and it fit my personality so well! Lisa really knows what she’s doing and I would recommend her to future brides. -

Something everyone knows about me is that I am not a girly girl. I am often seen wearing jumpsuits, rompers, overalls because I hate matching tops to bottoms and while I enjoy an occasional skirt, I had plans to dance the night away at the reception and be cozy so I decided on getting a jumpsuit with an overskirt. The overskirt would be on for the ceremony and then I would take it off revealing that I was wearing a jumpsuit the whole time and then get to be comfortable the rest of the night. I called over 50 stores in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia asking for bridal jumpsuits without any luck so I decided on a whim to book an appointment at Kleinfeld's in New York. Yes, THE KLEINFELD'S like TLC's Say Yes To The Dress. I was going to NYC that weekend with my sister anyway and my consultant Briar understood the assignment. She immediately brought me the jumpsuits, Ronnie the owner awed at me in the jumpsuit and helped me get into the overskirt. Everything came out to be less than what I would have spent on just a dress. The sleeves and extra embellishments were added from fabric I got at The Fabric Place in Mt Lebanon from a family friend and my grandma. -

I had the pleasure of working with krissy for my dress. Krissy was so professional and kind. Krissy listened to my wants and brought out all the dresses that Fit my vision for my special day. We ended up creating a dress by putting two together. She actually put both dresses on me to give me a vision. She was perfect and the whole kleinfelds experience was great from communication and the tailoring team. I highly recommend them!! -

I had the best experience at Kleinfeld and found my dress on my very first appointment. Kleinfeld is actually the only dress appointment I had, which is amazing because I can be very picky when it comes to what I wear (I’m a harsh critic of myself). This being said, my consultant Candace made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout the try on process! She texted me the night before my appointment and really listened to my preferences. When we met the day of my appointment, she paid very close attention to the photos I showed her of what I was envisioning. She was extremely patient with me and I never once felt rushed during my appointment. She let me take the time to try on dresses, show my parents, try different ones, re-try on dresses I liked, etc. It really felt like shopping with a friend. I ended up purchasing my gown and a veil on that first appointment, both of which I loved so much. I had my alterations done at Kleinfeld as well and am very happy with the outcome. My dress did not need much work, but they always paid close attention to detail and made sure I was happy every single step of the way. I always felt cared for and that the customer service was excellent. -

I started the wedding dress shopping journey during the height of COVID, so I kept things small by going with just my mom. To be honest, it was the best decision I made for 2 reasons: 1. my mom's taste is impeccable, and 2. each component of the process (i.e. selecting styles, selecting salons, selecting the dress, etc.) offers endless possibilities. Having few and more valued opinions was the route for me. Before visiting Kleinfeld, I went to two other bridal salons in New York City. The dresses were beautiful (isn't that the root problem with wedding dress shopping?), but they weren't for me. Not to mention, the options were fairly slim in terms of styles and sizes. My mom and I finally headed to Kleinfeld-- I suppose we saved the best for last! Antoinette was our stylist, and between her and my Italian mother, it took about 30 seconds to find the Pnina dress of my literal dreams ... with a giant bow right in the front, of course. Every person at the salon was kind, helpful, and a master of their craft. Alternations on my dress were difficult due to the fabric and corset, and Maria seriously slayed. The best part was that despite how many clients are in and out of Kleinfeld on the daily, I felt like the only bride in the room. The result? I felt beyond beautiful and confident on my wedding day. -

I went into this appointment just as a “fun” thing, having dreamed about it since I was a little girl. I truly had no plan to get a dress, and thought I had found my dream dress somewhere else. From the moment I stepped into Kleinfeld with my mom and mother-in-law, something in the air just felt special. My consultant, Morgan, was an absolute gem. She went above and beyond to make me feel so special, and instantly felt like a best friend. I truly don’t know if I would’ve walked away with a dress that day had it not been for her. She made my vision come true in a way beyond any and all dreams I had, and had all of us crying tears of joy! I cannot recommend Kleinfeld enough, and if you can request Morgan, DO IT!! She is a dream of a consultant and guaranteed to make your whole shopping experience something you will remember for the first of your life! -

I really didn’t expect that when I made my appointment at Kleinfeld’s that I would be getting my dress from there. But the second I met Mindy I knew I wanted to work with her. She was so amazing and took the time to help me pin point exactly the style I was trying to portray. And let me tell you, I got married 9/11/2021 and I still can’t get over how in love with my dress I am. From the first day up until picking up my dress they were phenomenal to work with. My dress was altered PERFECTLY, and my bustle was absolutely perfect. I even got a comment from a guest that’s in the bridal industry how they couldn’t believe how well the bustle was done. Lastly, they sewed in a piece of my grandpas shirt as my something blue and made sure that it was over my heart where it belongs. He passed away last year and this meant so much to me. Kleinfeld’s, you’re amazing!!! -

Kelsey helped me pick out my dress in 2019. I am not a fashion person and I asked her to select something she thought would look good with my skin tone and body type.
She returned with a gorgeous A-line Eve of Milady dress that had blush tones. It was beautiful and when I tried it on, I knew it was the dress.
My mom and I had so much fun with our shopping experience. -

Like a lot of other little girls, I dreamed of going to Kleinfelds to "Say Yes To The Dress." Honestly, I grew up on that TV show. So when I got engaged it was only a matter of time before I scheduled a trip to New York and an appointment at the one and only Kleinfeld Bridal. And my appointment was amazing. The boutique is beautiful and dreamy with a sense of magic in the air (no joke.) I was so fortunate to be attending during a trunk show of the designer of my dress (this is a huge bonus and saves you $) and I also to have the kind and chic Diane as my stylist. She made my appointment so personal and my guests had a blast. In the end, I said yes to a whimsical Hayley Paige gown. In the months waiting for my dress, Kleinfelds was great with communication and shipping my dress to me. If you have ever wished to be a Kleinfeld Bride, do yourself a favor and make that appointment! It was one of the most memorable moments during my wedding planning! -

Kleinfeld’s was wonderful! My appt. time got miscommunicated at first but they were excellent in getting me in that day ASAP seeing as we traveled to get there. They recommended a number of places to have lunch within walking distance. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. They spent as much time as I needed and did not cut me off at the ended appt. time, they let me keep looking until I found the one! Alterations on site are just as wonderful! The whole store is very informative and keep you in the loop every step of the way! And they call you back the same day if you happen to have to leave a voice message!! Parking is also easy to use and on the same street! -

I grew up watching say yes to the dress and forced my fiance too as well when we were just by and gf and he actually proposed to me by sending my mum and I to New York to go together! The consultants were great they let me walk the show room and even back where they keep all the dress! No Randy but still so thankful I got to experience it and say yes to my dress!

Dream Come True
I’ve dreamt of going to Kleinfeld for a dress since I was a little girl. All of the dresses there are amazing and they make you feel good. I had Morgan as my consultant, and I just loved her. She was able to read my mind and body language which was a plus. I didn’t have to speak for her to get me. I found a dress that looks like it was made for me.
Tips:
Try other dresses on first so you have an idea of what shape you want before going there. It will help to save some time so you can make the most of your appointment.
Don’t wear lace panties, all of the zippers and hooks will get stuck when trying dresses on / taking them off. -

I was not expecting to buy my dress here, but the second dress I put on, I fell in love with. It was the one.
Rosa knew exactly what I wanted and kept me under budget. She didn't overwhelm me with too many dresses at once and made sure that I absolutely loved EVERYTHING before making any decisions. Even encouraged me to come back another time for a veil because she could see I was getting overwhelmed with my "possy", and I did come back later that day and completed my look!
Suzanna was the most amazing seamstress. She worked magic on my dress and made it look like it was made FOR me. I felt so beautiful and sexy and she played such a huge role in that.
Ronnie (the owner) even came in during my last fitting and gave me his card, telling me he wanted a picture of me on my wedding day in the gown because of how good of a job Suzanna did! -

We left and went to a second shop, had lunch, and called Kleinfeld's to see if we could go back and purchase THE dress. My consultant was kind and calmed me throughout a somewhat overwhelming process! I had never been dress shopping before and didn't know what to expect. There was 1 dress I had saved on my phone that I loved and wanted to try on. My consultant had me pick some other options to try on first to give me the opportunity try other styles. Then, I tried on the dress I already had in mind, my consultant "jacked me up" and did the whole "are you saying yes to the dress" and it was really sweet. I'm glad she gave me the opportunity to try on those other dresses first so that I could be 100% sure in my decision. I had a great experience and there are so many options to choose from! -

Being a NYC native and having watched Say Yes to The Dress I knew I had to visit Kleinfeld at least for the experience when I went in search of my wedding dress. Well needless to say I said Yes to the Dress there. My budget was probably average for most, maybe slightly lower for those who visit the store but that didn't stop Lisa from giving me excellent service. She was attentive, stayed within my budget and really listened to what I was looking for. I also decided to go through Kleinfeld for my alteration and couldn't have been happier with Ayana as my fitter. She was fantastic!!! Would recommend to anyone. -

At the risk of sounding like a cliche, my Kleinfeld experience truly made me feel like a princess. When I went to pick out a dress I had Debbie as my consultant, and she understood my vision immediately. I tried on about 5 dresses, and found the one. It was a Michelle Roth gown, and since it was during her trunk show I got to meet her. She helped pick out the perfect veil to go with the dress. I still had an appointment at another salon scheduled for that day, and she didn’t put any pressure on me to make a decision on the spot. She gave me her card and told me to come back the next morning if I wanted the dress. When I came back the next day, she said “I had a feeling you’d be back.” The designer of the gown came back when I tried it on again, and she even did my measurements and talked about how she would customize the pattern for me.
I also went with Kleinfeld for alterations, and that whole process was smooth as well. Lule was my fitter, and she made me feel beautiful during every fitting. She talked through all of the changes they would make, and listened to me to make sure the dress looked exactly how I wanted. During my second fitting, one of the managers came up to us and asked if this was the final one because the dress already fit so well. It turned out to be everything I wanted in my dress. I couldn’t be happier! -

I tried on exactly one dress. 😭 Day three into dating my (now) husband, I found myself browsing Pinterest, visualizing what it would be like to marry the man I already knew in my heart to be my husband (because: VIRGO). This Pnina Tornai gown was the dress of my DREAMS, but I pinned the dress purely as inspo since Pnina Tornai designs dresses exclusively at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York, and when would I be traveling to NY?! When Regg popped the question, we got into planning mode almost immediately and I’d picked out a few bridal boutiques in Virginia for me and my mom to visit, but not before showing her “the dress to rule them all.” One look at the gown and the bridal inventory for the boutiques I proposed, and my mom said absolutely not ... she told me we would be flying to New York to try on the dress, even if only to rule it out because she knew I would never stop dreaming of it and nothing would ever measure up. One of my bridemaids was amazing enough to meet us there 😭 So yes, I tried on exactly one dress. It fit like a GLOVE and I was pretty sure it was the one. But as soon as I saw the tears run from my mother’s eyes the deal was sealed and I said “Yes” to the dress, in the very bridal parlor where the saying became a thing. Thank you to my AMAZING, loving, selfless mother for moving MOUNTAINS to make my dream dress a reality while creating memories to last us a lifetime, together. --
The Kleinfeld's team was a DREAM. Paula was amazing from the very start. It just so happened that her room number is 11 and 11 is my life path number, birth date, and our anniversary. We took it as a sign! Josephine in alterations was such a joy to work with each and every time we came to visit! She began to feel like extended family! If I could do it all over again, I'd do everything exactly the same way! I wouldn't change a thing. I HIGHLY recommend the Kleinfeld experience for any new bride! -

We live in Boston and had to travel to NY several times in order to find the dream dress. Last year April I had found the perfect dress. Months later I found out I was pregnant! Had a great time picking out my dress with my mom and friends at Kleinfeld. Beautiful store and tons of inventory to choose from. I had a very specific style in mind that is not so common. Our stylist worked hard to find me options and we narrowed it down to a favorite. The tailoring experience was fabulous--Anna did such an amazing job and was patient when I went back and forth between wanting it tighter or looser. It came out just right, could not be happier. -

It has been my dream since I was a little girl to go to Kleinfeld’s and I was lucky enough to have this be my first and only stop on the hunt for my dress.
My consultant was Farrah and she made me feel just like you watch on the tv show. She pulled numerous Hailey Paige dresses I printed out and even pulled Hailey in to see me in each of her dresses! (It was her trunk show, so she was there all day!) In the end it was Farrah who selected THE dress, a Blush Hailey dress - I immediately cried and knew she had found the winner, just based off of our discussions.
Akela was my seamstress and she was a dream to work with! The dress was ordered a size larger up top and by the third fitting you never would’ve known! I had my heart set on going to Kleinfeld’s for my dress and they exceeded my expectations. They provide mimosas for you and your entourage while you wait for your appointment, they even gave me a mini bottle of champagne to take home and had bottles of water for us which was really cute. My consultant Candace was the sweetest, she was patient and a really dope person. Just the best! And I even got to meet Shay and took pictures with him.. loved him! Candace brought me dresses that I showed her and also what I described but the dress I ended up picking was something she brought out for me. Everyone loved it, I’m beyond happy with my decision. Fast forward almost a whole year.. the dress is altered and home with me :) I’m still so happy with my experience at Kleinfeld’s. (Dress not pictured) -

From my very first day with Kleinfeld, to the day I picked up my dress the week before my wedding, everything went exactly as I would have hoped. I went to Kleinfeld last May to try on dresses, and had the perfect consultant, only showing me dresses in my price range, and of all different styles she thought would look right for me. I fell in love with a Maggie Sottero and purchased the dress that day!
I also had all of my fittings with Kleinfeld which was perfect! My seamstress did an amazing job making sure my dress fit me like a glove! I had 4 fittings overall, and by the last fitting we were good to go! My dress was so comfortable and fit perfectly I only wish I could wear it every day! -

I always wanted to go to Kleinfeld's, being a fan of Say Yes to the Dress since I was a teenager, so I was worried I had set my expectations too high. But I was wrong - it was everything I dreamed! My bridal consultant Farrah, which coincidentally was the consultant for my FSIL who is getting married this month, was a rockstar! She laughed with my family, listened to everything I wanted, and stayed wayyy beneath my budget. I felt like she genuinely cared about my experience. I said Yes to the Dress and I can't wait for my big day. Thank you Kleinfeld's and Farrah! -

It was really exciting going to a place to get my dress after seeing it on tv for so long. I flew in from Texas, so it was a largely anticipated trip! I also had a terrible experience thus far, trying on over 40 dresses and thinking I was never going to find the one. Francesca was amazing though and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I got so many compliments and was so happy with my dress, I wish I could wear it again! -

A dream for many years.
I always wanted to experience the Kleinfeld moment with my granddaughters. First to get engaged was Jen and we brought family from Ohio, Rhode Island Tennessee and Maryland.
Best of all we had Lisa as our consultant who made all of us feel like the most important clients of all. Lisa MADE the dream come true. My granddaughter said Yes To The Dress and we have the marvelous memories of our Kleinfeld experience. Smiles all around!! -

I had been to a few other bridal shops in Manhattan and had not found a dress. I made my appointment at Kleinfeld not thinking I would actually find my wedding dress here, I was more so going for the experience with my parents. I had preconceived notions that they would be rude, just have really expensive dresses and I would feel out of place but I was SO wrong. They were without a doubt so much more professional and helpful than any of the other bridal shops I went to. I was paired with Michelle and she was beyond helpful, kind and supportive. She was really knowledgable about the inventory and pulled some really beautiful dresses for me. She was constantly uplifting me but would be honest when something didn't look good, she was genuine and wasn't trying to talk something up if it wasn't right, she really was searching for THE dress. We finally found one that I fell in love with, a Michelle Roth, Opal. I decided to do my alterations at Kleinfeld which I also HIGHLY recommend, they are the best in the business and they take pride in their work. I worked with Silis and she was a dream. She constantly had a smile on her face and worked tirelessly to make my dress fit like a glove. On my last fitting, a week before the wedding, I tried the dress on (for what I thought was the last time) and when I lifted my arms up, the dress fell off me, I lost too much weight since the last fitting. I was secretly happy that my workouts worked, but the look on Silis' face was less excited. I had to go back 3 times in 2 days and they had to get the manager involved. I was in a panic, but they stayed professional and made sure I wasn't walking out with the dress until it was perfect, which it was by the end. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend going to Kleinfeld! -

Originally went to Kleinfeld to get my bridesmaids dresses, which was an easy enough success, but then they were having their pop-up shop in NJ & being curious browsed through. Not only was I ecstatic to have found the perfect bridesmaid dresses in the perfect color, but the pop-up shop did not disappoint! I found the exact concept that I thought I would never be patient enough to find. Overall Kleinfeld proves to be the best & I’m so happy with the results! -

I was a little nervous when I first walked in. The place is massive and this was my first stop on the wedding dress hunt. Thankfully I was paired up with the dream team of Judith and Ariel. They knew exactly what style would work the best for my shape and listened to all my likes and dislikes. The knowledge of their inventory was remarkable. They stayed well within budget and I walked out the door with the perfect dress. I can definitely understand how the experience could be overwhelming for some, but my team kept me feeling very safe and sheltered. -

After looking at 5 places for a wedding gown, my daughter wanted to check out Kleinfelds in NYC. We worked with Paula Hittner and she knocked it out of the park, as the dress that my daughter decided on, was beyond perfect her! It fit her like a glove and she looked more beautiful than I have ever seen her. Maria M. was the seamstress and she should be commended for her patience and talent. The December 2, 2018 wedding just took place and my daughter looked like a princess. If you go to Kleinfelds, make sure to request Paula Hittner as your salesperson and Maria M as your seamstress. -

My mom used to love watching "Say Yes to the Dress" and would tell my sister and I that when we got engaged, she would take us there. My wonderful mom passed away before my sister and I each got engaged but we both went to Kleinfelds to make our mom happy and thankfully, we both found the gowns of our dreams there! I went into Kleinfelds feeling nervous and emotional without my mom. I brought my sister and two cousins with me and when I met my consultant, Morgan McCullough, all of my nerves and sadness went away. Morgan had me pick out dresses and we got to know each other first before I had my sister come into the room. I felt this was important because Morgan got to know me and my vision without having any one else's opinions in my head. Morgan showed me tons of beautiful dresses for my very first dress experience and in that first time, I tried on THE DRESS. However, I did browse and return to Kleinfelds to try on more dresses to ensure that the dress I had fallen in love with was truly THE ONE! Thanks to Morgan, my family, and all of the consultants that helped me along the way, I had a FANTASTIC, seamless experience at Kleinfelds. I also had my mom with me in spirit and I know she was thrilled that I found THE DRESS at Kleinfelds! I'd also like to thank my amazing, talented, and overly kind seamstress, Akela Knowles, for making the dress fit PERFECTLY. My dress was made by Alvina Valenta and it was a romantic, elegant ivory cashmere a-line gown. I wanted to be a classy, romantic bride and I felt like one in this gown! Thank you EVERYONE at Kleinfelds, especially Morgan and Akela! It was truly a dream!

Myranda Sent on 10/26/2017This was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made!!! It was everything that I wanted and more!! It was so worth the multiple trips made from the selection to the alterations! Debbie was my consultant and I think I had a heartache when she called my name! Of course I have seen her on the show but I didn't realize that the consultants on TV worked with brides not on the show. She picked out the perfect dress based on the options that I brought but within my budget, however turns out I didn't like that dress, I didn't get the feeling I was hoping for. Debbie went and picked out a dress she thought I would look good in and BAM, that was the dress that I bought!! Not only did she find me the perfect but also a veil and a head piece. Everything matched so well together, like they were all made for each other and meant to be together!! The dress was even under my budget!! I was able to get my headpiece, veil, the dress, and the alterations for my original budget!!
The alterations department was just as amazing!! Josephine was awesome! I had a mild panic attack when she got the scissors out and just started cutting but she definitely knew what she was doing!! I loved that every time I went back for another appointment I got to meet with her, so we were on the same page every time. Every attached she made was perfect, she knew exactly what needed to be done! It fit like a glove!
This was definitely a trip of a lifetime!!! To top it all off, during one of my alterations appointments one of the owners, Mara walked by and I got so excited! She came over an introduced herself and made she I was having a good experience!! -

I did not have a high budget (as typically seen on the TV show), but they found me multiple options. Ashley was my consultant on the day I found the dress. She was so nice and down to Earth. Suzana was my seamstress. She did an unbelievable job. My dress fit me perfectly. There is no place like Kleinfelds. -

He allowed me to try on the dresses that I liked online but also picked what he felt would look best on me. I tried on his choice first and it ended up being the dress I purchased. The staff is super friendly and made the purchasing process so easy. They have already been in touch numerous times and I just purchased my dress on Friday. I would HIGHLY recommend going here!
