We thoroughly enjoyed working with Kismet Visuals & Co. throughout our entire wedding process. From the very beginning, she was easy to communicate with, responsive, and always prompt in answering any questions we had. She made us feel confident and at ease every step of the way.
Our photos turned out absolutely amazing! Every time I look through our gallery, I find even more favorites. I especially love how she captured all of the little details of the day, as well as the candid and naturally posed moments that truly reflect our personalities and the emotions of the day. She had a clear vision for each shot and knew exactly how to guide us, so I had complete trust in her throughout the entire process.
One of the things that impressed us most was her turnaround time. She delivered a sneak peek of 40 incredible photos within just 24 hours of our wedding, which was such a special surprise. Even more impressive, we received our full gallery within just 2–3 weeks, far sooner than we expected. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and cannot recommend Kismet Visuals & Co. enough. We are so grateful to have these beautiful memories to cherish forever!

We hired Kismet for our wedding photography and it was the best decision of all our wedding decisions. Photos are what last a life time so we budgeted for a higher amount at the start of our planning. The photos turned out to be everything I imagined and more! What can I say about Allison and Kismet Visuals other than: the best there is. Every time I told a vendor that I hired Allison for my wedding, they said she was the absolute best and that we would be in great hands. I do not like being photographed and can be very camera shy, but Allison made me feel so comfortable and was absolutely amazing to work with. I really wanted our pictures to capture the love and beauty of our family and friends for our wedding day, and she did just that. Our pictures turned out better than I could have imagined and I am so grateful for Allison and her team. She was professional, responsive, and totally on top of it from a timing standpoint. If I could do it all over again, I would hire Kismet without a doubt. She is by far the best wedding photographer in Columbus and if you have the opportunity to hire her- please do! The BEST Photographer!
Allison is truly the best photographer you could have for your wedding day. She made my entire day effortless and the photos turned out so natural and less "portrait-like". We are not a photogenic couple, but somehow she captured literally hundreds of photos that we actually loved. Not to mention, the price she charges is extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of her work. She is accommodating to the hours that you want, she makes you photo albums and even takes your engagement photos. She is worth every penny and the sweetest vendor we had on our wedding day. When I first got engaged I didn't know a lot, but I knew one thing for sure: I wanted Kismet to shoot our day. I knew Allison's work was bright and detailed, but it went above and beyond that the day of. Allison was attentive, organized and as my husband said "know's her stuff". The order of which she shot made sense for our timeline and she didn't miss a beat. THE top photographer for a reason
We had the best experience working with Allison and we are over the moon with our photos. She was my #1 choice for our photographer and I was so excited when she was available on our date and willing to take on a small ceremony on a Friday morning. She captured so many special moments that we get to hang on to for the rest of our lives, and we had so much fun reviewing the shots she managed to get (we kept saying to each other, "I didn't even know she was back there!"). It has been a pleasure to work with Allison throughout this process. She did an amazing job memorializing our wedding day! Honestly, we didn’t interview many photographers as she was one of the first we contacted, but we knew immediately upon meeting and speaking with her that she was going to be the best fit for us. We were so lucky that Allison was available to capture our wedding day. Our wedding pictures are so beautiful and uniquely us. My husband and I are not in front of a camera often, so we were nervous to have our engagement pictures taken. However, any nerves were gone in the first five minutes of working with Allison. She is very relaxed and took the time needed to make us feel comfortable. Not only is her work stunning (just look at her Instagram!), but she also is a great person. Our wedding was supposed to be in October of 2020, but we had to postpone due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Allison was so accommodating and understanding when we had to reschedule. She is quick at responding to emails and is always happy to answer any questions I may have. Honestly, having Allison be a part of our big day was one of the best decisions we made! We are currently planning a reception for 2022 since we had to do a small ceremony because of COVID. One of the first things I did was book Allison again. I could not speak more highly of her and her work.

Thankful to have Allison on our wedding journey
Allison was wonderful from the beginning. I had been following her under her previous brand name and knew if I ever got married she had to be my photographer. When that time finally came, she shared some dates that she was available so I could coordinate when booking my venue. Our engagement pictures were great and really captured how much fun my husband and I have together at some of our Columbus favorites. Once COVID hit, Allison was helpful with rescheduling two additional times and was supportive even though she was also struggling with the difficulties many businesses were facing. We had a small legal ceremony Allison was not able to attend but she captured our first anniversary wedding celebration. For me, pictures are the most important vendor of the day and I’m so happy Allison was able to capture our happiness and love. The hardest part was picking the favorites to be printed, then the next hardest is the holiday card photo! Thank you so much for everything Allison!

Perfect in every way
My husband and I had our wedding scheduled during COVID and restrictions which was obviously stressful. We ended up getting married in 2020 with 11 people attending total, including us, and had Allison take our photos that day and at our postponed reception this year.
Our wedding day is what really stands out to me. We were so bummed that our friends and family couldn't attend our wedding and yet our time with Allison felt NORMAL (the first time anything felt normal in 2020). We walked around downtown taking pictures, just the three of us, and it was so enjoyable, exciting, celebratory, and fun. I cannot find the words to describe how meaningful this time was to us and it will be a unique memory we have forever.
Our postponed reception was also perfect. We finally got to have Allison photograph us with our friends and family and, to no one's surprise, she was so organized and timely. We also ordered a rather large canvas to hang in our reception venue pretty close to the reception date that Allison edited, ordered, and got to us so quickly.
Our photos turned out beautifully and as expected based upon Allison's portfolio. We have received countless comments regarding how wonderful the photos look. I'm not the type of person to hang a lot of photos of myself in my house but we are definitely printing and hanging some of our wedding photos!
We will 100% ask Allison to photograph all future events and memories and I've already suggested her to all of my friends. She's literally the best.

Couldn't be better!
Let me start by explaining I had booked a "Budget photographer" in the early days of my wedding planning process, trying to cut costs, etc. After about 4 months of wedding planning I realized that your photos are one of the most important parts of they day, and not just anybody can do it. This is when I decided to break my contract, and I was absolutely heartbroken to do that to another vendor, and felt so upset with myself for rushing into booking with someone who's work I did not particularly love...But I had to rebook another photographer. Well, I was petrified of making the same mistake so I decided I would find the absolute best person I could get, and book them...With this search I found Allison. Wedding planning was stressful for me, and I felt so much relief knowing my photos would be amazing and I didn't have to stress about it because I booked with Allison. Phew! It was such a relief. I kept telling my family and friends she was the absolute best, her work is incredible and we will all be stunned....well, that's what happened! Every. Single. Photo. Is. GORGEOUS! I have looked them over and over and I couldn't conjure up a complaint about Allison if I tried. She also got us back on track time wise (nearly 30-40 mins behind), absolutely cranked out the family photos to get the not-so-fun stuff done quickly. She is efficient, and professional...you truly couldn't be in better hands if you book with here. I am moving to Florida with my husband but we already have discussed flying to Ohio if we need photos in the future because she is so amazing. Thank you Allison! I can't wait to display your gorgeous work in our home.

Kismet was the first vendor I booked because I had seen Allison’s work and instantly knew I wanted her to capture my wedding day. I knew I would walk away with an amazing collection of photos, but what I got actually far exceeded my high expectations. I was beyond impressed with Allison’s professional manner, creative talent, and turnaround time. She captured moments that my husband and I will forever cherish and pass down to our family for years to come and that is something that is simply priceless. Would 10/10 recommend Kismet to anyone!

Having Allison there with us on our wedding day was absolutely amazing! Allison was like a big sister to me that day. She helped me get into my dress and cooled me down when it got too hot! She captured some truly amazing pictures. She is kind, professional, and an excellent photographer!

Phenomenal photographer
We couldn't recommend Kismet more. Shortly after we booked Allison, we had to reschedule our engagement photo session due to a conflict on our end. Allison was more than accommodating, working with us to find a new date and time. When we saw our photos from the session, we were hooked. It had been a horribly humid July day, but looking at the photos, you'd never be the wiser. Multiple friends reached out to tell us how good the photos looked, which was wonderful to hear considering that my fiancé (now husband) and I are both a little camera shy. When it came to the wedding, Allison did it yet again. Despite rain early on in the day, general mugginess, and a lack of air conditioning at our venue, my husband and I look completely flawless in our photos. There are so many shots to choose from, and we can't wait to gift so many of her prints to our family and friends. Throughout the day, Allison was professional, calm when any issues arose, and just generally fun to be around. I don't love having my photo taken, but Allison and her second shooter went out of their way to help me feel more comfortable and make sure that the poses we chose felt true to who my husband and I are as a couple. I still don't love having my photo taken, but the next time I do, I'll be sure to call Allison. I recommend you do the same!

Where do I begin?? I've worked with Allison many times over the years so when it came time to choose who I wanted to capture this special day, I knew EXACTLY where to go. More than I could have ever hoped for
This entire wedding process, including working with Allison is more than my husband and I could have hoped for or imagined. It's funny how things have a way of working out just as they're supposed to and I believe that's exactly what happened with us, and being able to work with Allison. This was our 5th (Yep, FIFTH) planned wedding due to Covid. Originally planned in Puerto Rico, then two different locations in the Bahamas, then moved to Mexico and finally in Columbus, OH in February! Not exactly what we had planned or envisioned. #thankscovid. Having all of our friends, family and loved ones together for a huge beach celebration changed to us getting married in front of just our immediate families in our Columbus church. It turned out to be even more special than what we had originally planned and Allison captured every single special moment in the church that we now love so much.
I wish I could take Allison with me on every important day in my future because I know her pictures would tell the perfect story. Nothing felt scripted or forced, nothing was staged or awkward, and I didn't even realize she was there most of the time. She took time to ask up front what our expectations were, and I think that is the most important part of what she did - she knew exactly what we wanted, what our perfect shots would look like, what type of image we were interested in capturing, and she delivered on it 110%. A true creative and caring professional who knows exactly what she's doing, but takes the clients wishes into account and delivers exactly what they want and not what she thinks they should have. Since she asked so many questions up front and got to know us, she also determined that we would appreciate at least a few of the smaller details that we didn't originally think were important and I'm so thankful that she captured those as well. She was a strong leader during family photos, extremely organized throughout the entire process, and was an excellent communicator. She would email me back early in the morning or late at night, usually within minutes if not seconds of my original email. We are beyond happy with our choice to work with Kismet, and as an official "Kismet Couple," we'll look forward to working with Allison again for many special events to come! Cheers!

Best Wedding Photographer in the Columbus Area
I highly recommend Kismet Visuals! Allison and her second shooter Alina did a fantastic job photographing our wedding on October 31, 2020. They spent 8 hours with us, at 3 different locations and captured each moment of our big day perfectly. Our church had some very strict guidelines due to COVID-19 as to where they could be during the ceremony and they handled it so well. All the photos turned out amazing, the quality, lighting, and style were exactly what we wanted. I love that Allison took so many detail shots during the day, not all photographers take the time to do this. I am especially obsessed with the portraits she took of my husband and me around the church and our reception venue. Allison is super professional, prompt, and a great communicator. She was an amazing leader on our wedding day arranging shoots with our family members and the wedding party. The day wouldn’t have been as smooth and stress-free as it was without her! She had our edited photos back to us within two weeks of our wedding, we were literally sitting on the beach during our honeymoon viewing our wedding photos. Kismet Visual was incredible to work with. We also did or engagement photos with her and I’m looking forward to continuing to book sessions with her as we start our family. My husband and I are both pretty go-with-the-flow types of people, and Allison was great at making us feel comfortable and getting amazing candid photos of us on our wedding day. Allison was the photographer for our wedding last August and our photos are absolutely amazing!! We could not be more happy or more impressed with how our photos turned out! Allison has such a creative eye and talent for what she does and it definitely shows through to all of our photos. She was so professional throughout the whole process and was quick to respond to any questions we had right away. Allison is an amazing and very talented photographer. She is extremely organized, easy to work with and has a natural eye for detail! Her photos are absolutely stunning, beautiful and timeless with gorgeous lighting! She captured all the beauty of our wedding SO perfectly; the emotions, romance and our playful love! Booking with Allison and Kismet was the best decision I made when planning my wedding. It was the first vendor I booked with (even before the venue). Kismet was more than just my photographer, Allison is my friend who did an amazingly perfect job at capturing every moment of our wedding day. I could not be happier with the kindness, generosity, and level of professionalism I received with Allison and the pictures are unreal. Allison is a very respected and well known photographer in Columbus and is the best. I would not wait on booking with one of the top photographers in Columbus. She is worth every penny too. She specializes at shooting at Oak Grove Jorgensen Farms and makes the pictures look unique and different even after shooting there so often. Oh, and her Instagram is also perfect. Allison was very responsive through email and even stayed over her contracted time allotment to capture a few more special moments of my wedding. Stunning Wedding Photography - Highly Recommend
I would HIGHLY recommend Allison at Kismet Visuals- she did our wedding photos, and they were beyond gorgeous. She captured the atmosphere and emotions of the day, the venue and small details, the unplanned special moments and the planned groups shots to perfection. She did a great job with adjusting at the last minute to my husband's broken ankle, and making sure to create gorgeous shots that took the attention away from the boot. She was incredibly responsive at all times throughout the wedding planning and had a highly detailed timeline pulled together for the day-of that helped us organize our day. When it came to getting the photos back- she did so very quickly (around a 2 week turn around time), with all shots edited and in an easy to use gallery site. We were blown away with how amazing the photos were- we could hardly choose our favorites! Allison is great at what she does- if you're looking for timeless images, she's the one!

Allison is amazing - she makes you feel so incredibly comfortable and takes such creative and thoughtful photos. She really cares about how you want to remember your special day and is so flexible, easy-going and fun to work with. We loved having her with our wedding party throughout the entire day - she was there for every moment, even snapping photos on our party bus! We got all of our wedding photos back two weeks after our wedding - such an amazing turnaround time and you can tell a lot of time went into the final delivery. I love little details! This is one of many reasons I was drawn to Allison as our wedding photographer. She is professional, efficient, and kept our day on schedule (not even her job) while capturing every little detail. Best Vendor Decision for Our Wedding
Choosing Allison as our photographer was seriously one of the best vendor decisions that we made for our wedding! Allison was so easy to work with - she was professional, responsive, and so helpful with all my questions. She helped me work out details from the beginning to end that met my budget and timeline needs. On our actual wedding day, I never needed to worry about a single detail b/c she is so experienced and directed us to get all the beautiful shots the we didn't even know we wanted! Oh, and did I mention she was super fast in turning around our final photos?
I know it can be scary committing a significant amount of budget towards photography, but I really feel like it was funds well spent at the end of the day. Don't hesitate to hire this wonderful photographer! The quality of the experience and the photographs themselves is well well worth it!

Best Photographer we could have ever worked with
Brides if you are looking for a wedding photographer you can stop looking, Allison is by far the best one you'll find. When I started looking for wedding photographers for our wedding last October I looked at plenty of photographers work on Instagram and was truly blown away by Allison's work. We loved her work so much that we picked our wedding date based on when she was available. Allison made us feel so comfortable during our engagement pictures and we laughed and had such a blast getting them done and were so thrilled when we received them. They were truly beautiful. Our wedding day was no different. She went above and beyond to answer any questions that we had beforehand and did an amazing job throughout the day even when were ahead of schedule. She gave us so many incredible images that I truly classic and timeless and we will treasure them for a lifetime. Being a good photographer is about so much more than taking good photos, it's also about making sure your clients fee comfortable with the poses and making them feel like they aren't even posing but are just having fun while someone is capturing the moment and Allison is a master at that. We are having her do a photo session with us every season and we can't wait to see her again soon for our snowy season and our spring session. But brides don't wait, you will truly not regret hiring her as your photographer.

Capturing the Magic
We had been referred to Kismet by close friends. Allison took our engagement pics and while we were super awkward at first (because we hate having our pictures taken) you wouldn’t see that in the photos. She helped us feel more natural and after a while we forgot she was there (in a good way). Our engagement photos were better than anticipated but our wedding photos... wow!!!
Allison and Julia really captured the magic of the evening. We felt like they were friends hanging out and celebrating with us. Our families and friends felt comfortable and again, didn’t notice them (in a good way!). We just attended a wedding prior to our own where the photographer had everyone pause halfway down the aisle in order to pose for the pictures. In fact, the entire wedding was posed and re-posed. It felt fake and completely took away from the actual wedding. It was a photo shoot. That was not the case with Kismet.
Not only were their ideas creative but the talent of getting those amazing shots. I don’t know how they did it. I don’t know how they were able to capture not just photos but so many moments that night. You can see the magic through their photos. It’s amazing.

Best Wedding Decision I Made
In a season of thousands of decisions, knowing that I could rely on Kismet Visuals was a wonderful feeling. Amazing photography

What a magical experience, and Allison captured it all!
Allison and her photographer were so professional and wonderful from start to finish. They were so flexible and compassionate, even when they had to get our 20-person bridal party together for group pics (they turned out so amazing). I really do believe it was "fate" we found her because she captured every special moment that I would have missed! Allison is the best of the best. From day one when I reached out to her with interest, she was so quick to respond and informative regarding my questions. She is SO organized, and I because of that, I always felt like I was a priority - even though I know she juggles HUNDREDS of other clients in a given season. Her work is gorgeous, and she knew how to make my fiance and I comfortable in front of the camera, even when I was deathly nervous before our ceremony. Our experience having Allison as our wedding photographer couldn't have been more amazing! From the get-go, she answered all our questions in such a timely matter that that alone made us want to work with her. She was also very flexible with time and location on all our meetings. When this time is most stressful for most couples, she really was a breath of fresh (calm!) air. We met with multiple photographers, hers being the first, and no one lived up to her presentation, organization, and professionalism. All these qualities really shine through in her work.
We couldn't imagine having used anyone else other than Allison for our big day and will definitely be using her in the future :)

Allison is such a sweetheart and did an amazing job on both our engagement and wedding photos. We were very nervous about feeling awkward during our engagement shoot, but Allison really put us at ease with her calming and fun personality. We had such a great time with her on the wedding day and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful. All of the poses she suggests are very natural and turned out great in the photos. She also has a very speedy turn around time and always quick to respond to emails. We definitely plan on contacting her in the future as we build our family.

We planned a wedding in little over two months and everything came together so beautifully because of the professionalism and dedication of people like her! She made everything very comfortable and relaxed...she even stood outside in the middle of a rainstorm for us! So much dedication to providing a variety of photographs! Our pictures are not only memories, but small works of art. She captures so many emotions, every time I look back on our pictures (this happens quite often :)) I get goosebumps! Brett & I could not say enough about how wonderful it was to meet and work with Allison for our engagement and wedding pictures over the last year. She is a joy to be around and always made us feel comfortable. Her smile and laugh are contagious and she becomes more than your photographer, but your friend. She is up for anything, so flexible, and always willing to do whatever it takes to make your vision come to life. She is quick to respond and answer any and all questions you may have. For our engagement pictures we brought our 4 month old golden retriever along, and although he was a bit finicky Allison captured some amazing shots of us with him and understood how important it was to us to involve him. We are so thankful that we will have those pictures forever. I cannot say enough about how beautiful our wedding pictures are. In just a 6 hour span on our wedding day, Allison captured amazing shots of our details, family, bridal party, venue, and of us. Since my husband and I were living in NYC (but having our wedding in Ohio) we were anticipating some "added stress" to our planning process -- but because we chose Allison, that was not the case AT ALL. From start to finish, Allison was flexible, professional, warm, TALENTED and so very kind. She went out of her way to accommodate our last minute decision to do engagement photos and was flexible with our crazy travel schedule. Leading up to the wedding, she was very clear on timelines and due dates. Allison does her 'homework' and genuinely wants to understand your vision so she can capture those very special details and moments. One of my favorite things about Allison was her presence on the day of the wedding. With a big bridal party, you want someone that can command the group, while keeping the mood light and everyone happy -- not once did we feel like we were being bossed around. It was so nice to put my trust in her entirely as she led the flow of our day. She even taught us last minute how to cut the cake! Last but not least... the photos. They were everything we wanted and more. She captured our personalities - and those of our guests as well. We are thrilled that we invested in Allison to give us memories that will last for a lifetime.

Allison was better than we could have ever imagined. I have a background in photography so I had a lot more little things I was looking for when choosing a photographer. On top of that, I know how difficult it can be to capture critical moments because of all the thought & preparation that goes into getting that perfect shot. Allison was able to capture those moments, and she gave me peace of mind after our engagement photo session. One less thing to worry about made a big difference on our wedding day. When it came to our family pictures she controlled the situation very well and worked quickly and calmly. She had a plan B (and probably a plan C if she truly needed it) to get the little ones to cooperate.
Simply put, you can't go wrong with her, if she is available on your wedding day then save yourself the time of looking around and book her now.

We had Allison for our photographer at our wedding and she and her assistant Renee were absolutely amazing! They knew exactly how to make us feel comfortable. I knew just from looking at Allison's previous work that she was going to make our photos beautiful. It was so extremely windy for our wedding and looking at my pictures you can't even tell! I really don't know how they managed to capture the amazing shots they got, but we were more than thrilled with how everything turned out!
