Hi, I'm Allison... I am Kismet Visuals! A mom of two, graphic designer and a photographer who is in love with every detail that goes into a wedding day!

Allison Leonard earned degrees in Visual Communications and Fine Arts from Ohio Dominican University in 2001. She has worked in various disciplines within the field of graphic design, including branding, layout, web design, and photography. Allison is proficient in editing photos using the Adobe software suite and enjoys the world of opportunities inherent in the use of software to create and expand the photographic possibilities. She works exclusively in Columbus, Ohio, and the surrounding areas.

Allison is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) organization.

Wedding Review

Allison was a quiet comfort on a busy morning filled with nerves. She has such a calming presence — never intrusive, always reassuring — and somehow managed to capture every intimate, emotional, and joyful moment so effortlessly. Her eye for detail is impeccable, and she tells the story of the day in such a beautiful, authentic way. When we received our gallery (which she delivered ahead of schedule!), we were completely blown away. Every image felt alive — genuine smiles, happy tears, and all the little in-between moments we didn’t even realize she had noticed. Best Ohio Wedding Photographer!!!!

Allison was absolutely amazing to work with!! She made us feel extremely comfortable and captured every magical moment that occurred on my wedding day. Even when there were very stressful moments, she was able to calm me down and think of alternatives to help the situation. We received our pictures back in less than 2 weeks after our wedding and every single picture was absolutely perfect! I cannot recommend Allison enough! I will definitely keep coming to her for other special moments!

Best.Wedding.Photographer!!!! A no-brainer selection :)

Choosing Kismet to capture our wedding photos was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding day. She is fun, knowledgable, and one bad-ass photographer. From engagement photos to wedding photos, we are SO glad Allison was a part of our experience. We cannot recommend enough!!!

The BEST wedding photographer!

Allison was the most amazing photographer. She was so fun and easy to work with, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her photos were stunning, and she perfectly captured our day. She also was able to provide the photos to us so quickly! I cannot recommend her enough, and I know she will be taking photos of our family for years to come.

Best Wedding Photographer- Hands Down!

What can I say about Allison and Kismet Visuals other than: the best there is. Every time I told a vendor that I hired Allison for my wedding, they said she was the absolute best and that we would be in great hands. I do not like being photographed and can be very camera shy, but Allison made me feel so comfortable and was absolutely amazing to work with. I really wanted our pictures to capture the love and beauty of our family and friends for our wedding day, and she did just that. Our pictures turned out better than I could have imagined and I am so grateful for Allison and her team. She was professional, responsive, and totally on top of it from a timing standpoint. If I could do it all over again, I would hire Kismet without a doubt. She is by far the best wedding photographer in Columbus and if you have the opportunity to hire her- please do! You will not be disappointed.

The BEST Photographer!

Allison is truly the best photographer you could have for your wedding day. She made my entire day effortless and the photos turned out so natural and less "portrait-like". We are not a photogenic couple, but somehow she captured literally hundreds of photos that we actually loved. Not to mention, the price she charges is extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of her work. She is accommodating to the hours that you want, she makes you photo albums and even takes your engagement photos. She is worth every penny and the sweetest vendor we had on our wedding day. I am so glad that I chose Allison to capture the memories that we will look back on for the rest of our lives.

Allison is the best in the business

Allison is a dream to work with. She is so extremely talented. My husband and I don't like having our photos taken, but Allison made us feel comfortable and the pictures turned out better than we ever dreamed. It is obvious that she is exceptionally experienced and creative. Book her before somebody else does.

Best Photographer Ever

You know when you select a photographer for her vision and color scheme, but then you get so much more. I can’t tell you how kind Allison and her team are! They were so wonderful to have on the day, she helped guide the day and locations to really help create a good story in the photos and helped with timeline advice! And I can’t speak enough about how obsessed we are with every photo she took. It was truly Kismet that we had Allison apart of our wedding day!

Amazing! I would recommend.

Kismet (we primarily worked with Allison) should be your go to if you want beautiful photographs of your wedding. Allison is extremely talented, experienced, and put us at ease. My husband and I hate having our pictures taken, but Allison made us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend!
