Venue of Dreams

I chose the inclusive package offered by this wedding venue, and it covered 80% of the wedding planning. The convenience of having everything taken care of allowed me to truly enjoy my engagement while preparing for the big day. Our energy was focused on preparing for the marriage, not the details of a single event. The venue handled all the details, surpassing anything I could have done myself. From start to finish, they took my vision and brought it to life effortlessly.

Amazing, stress free, and beautiful!

Our wedding was this past weekend and I cannot thank Elaine and her staff enough for how beautiful our wedding was. The communication and assistance from the very beginning was amazing. They guided us the whole way. We did the big package and barely had to lift a finger for planning and that made a huge difference for us with 3 kids and two full time jobs. Their expertise is apparent in everything they do. I 1000% recommend them and wouldn’t change a thing!

A Perfect Day at Kindred Oaks

Our wedding day at Kindred Oaks was nothing short of magical! From the moment we stepped foot onto the grounds, we knew we had found the perfect place to celebrate our special day.
The professionalism and expertise of the staff were exceptional. From our first meeting to the day of the event, the team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was executed flawlessly. Elaine was a lifesaver, guiding us through the entire planning process with ease and grace. Their dedication and passion for creating memorable moments were evident in every aspect of our celebration.
As the sun set and the evening unfolded, the venue transformed into a magical wonderland. The lighting, coupled with the romantic ambiance, created a dreamy setting for our reception. The dance floor was lively, and the music echoed through the night, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the unforgettable experience that Kindred Oaks provided on the most important day of our lives. We could not recommend them enough!

Wedding made easy

Long overdue review! My husband and I got married at kindred oaks in March. We decided to do their all inclusive packaging which made planning a wedding in 9 months that much easier. Elaine and her team were quick to respond to emails, answer any questions, and calm concerns. The separated dance floor and reception space allowed for different groups of people to congregate where they get comfortable, and the twinkling lights helped to make the space feel magical. To add, the team really does work together well. The team at zuzu’s was able to put to life my floral vision and Donna made sure my wedding ran smoothly. I highly recommend anyone to have their wedding here.

Our best wedding decision!

Kindred Oaks was the first decision we made about our wedding, and definitely the best! We couldn't have asked for kinder or more helpful staff. We didn't have a wedding planner, but we didn't need one thanks to KO. They went above and beyond to make our day special, especially with the day-of coordination. Not to mention--it's a stunning venue!

Amazing venue!

My now wife and I recently had our wedding at Kindred Oaks and we can't recommend this place enough. Kindred Oaks was the first venue we looked at and we loved it at first visit. We did our due diligence and checked out several other locations but they didn't come close to being as special for us.

We're both pretty poor planners and were overwhelmed with the idea of planning a wedding for our ~85 guests but Elaine and her team really do make it easy. We went with their all-inclusive package which covers A LOT of the heavy lifting. For anything not included, Kindred Oaks has plenty of recommendations and will keep you accountable to make sure things are getting done.

As for the special day itself, no one wanted it to end. Our guests couldn't stop raving how beautiful the whole night was with the twinkle lights, the floral designs and the outdoor vibe in October.

Amazing venue

This was the perfect place to get married! They have several ceremony locations and a backup in case the weather takes a turn. We got married at Lincoln Chapel (HIGHLY recommended) and had our reception under the pavilion. They even have a playground for the little ones that was a huge hit. The wooden LOVE sign is the perfect place for couples/families to take pictures and the dance floor was lit up with some beautiful hanging lights. The flow of the venue is absolutely perfect with plenty of space to eat, drink, and be married!

Beautiful Wedding Venue!

Venue is BEAUTIFUL. Elaine and Julie were incredible with helping to make our Wedding amazing. The venue is breathtaking and the staff was always helpful. We highly recommend stopping by for open houses to imagine/plan your special day! We did a wedding (Texas) package and it was worth every penny as they take great care in the details of what you want from a wedding as a couple! The BEST venue for a stress free wedding day

Kindred Oaks is an amazing venue. Their packaging options make your wedding day stress free. I had heard it before our wedding but it definitely rings true when they say that you literally will feel like you are forgetting something. They take care of EVERYTHING in the Texas Package and the venue itself is gorgeous. If it rains and your ceremony is outside? No worries! They will just move it to the beautiful reception area inside! Don't like one location on the property? No worries! You can pick from one of the other multiple location options. I can't say enough about it, the open house events give you a great idea of what you can expect. The attentiveness of the staff make you feel reassured that everything is going to workout great. And the pricing to have everything done is outstanding. The flower shop is on the same property, the caterer is part of the package, the DJ can be part of the package, the day of planner is part of the package, the bartender is part of the package (although I will say that if you are the groom and have friends like mine that would like to drink in the parking lot while waiting for the ceremony, they will get on you about it. Even though all the girls are popping bottles in the dressing room, the GUYS get threatened to be cutoff of the alcohol they purchased before the event even starts.... we had ONE beer in the parking lot 4 hours before the event and got a talking to.) Other than that one gripe we had, everything is included except your choice of photographer, officiant, and the cake! Everything else is taken care of and you just pick your options! If you're like us and didn't want to have to deal with stressing over finding all the different people for your event, this is the place to go. If you do however, want to individually pick everyone you want, this is still the perfect venue to do it at! We are now the third couple we know of between work and friends who have been married here and we will definitely be recommending it to others.

Best Venue EVER!!!

My husband and I got married at Kindred Oaks on 12/18/21 and to say it was the most magical, perfect day is an understatement. We booked with KO back in 2020 knowing we had a lot of time to plan out everything exactly how we wanted, and over those 2 years Elaine always made sure we felt seen and heard. We walked away from every conversation feeling confident and happy. Elaine always remembered our names and that we wanted a Christmas wedding - live Christmas trees were super important for us. Elaine worked with Heather at Zuzu's to create our ideal winter wonderland wedding. On the actual day - it rained. I was a wreck, of course. But Elaine kept me calm, hugged me when I cried, and was there for my every need. The KO staff had a plan B already set up and ready to go, but allowed me to make the final call only 2 hours before the ceremony was set to begin - they truly made me feel so special and HEARD! Of course there were also a few things that went wrong during the wedding, but Elaine and Julie were there to jump in and take care of it all! I highly recommend buying the mini day-of coordinator if you do not go with their All Inclusive Package. I love this venue and I love these people. I will forever recommend this place to any and all future brides. I will be grateful and cherish my memories of Kindred Oaks for all of my years

Super helpful team and beautiful venue!

Let me start off by saying I could not be happier with the experience my husband and I had with Kindred Oaks. Right from the jump when we first toured the venue, Elaine and her team were extremely informative and helpful to us being a young couple who had no idea how to plan a wedding! Throughout the entire process they were so kind and helpful with any questions we had and always responded quickly. The property is absolutely gorgeous and accommodating, and the scenery and trees surrounding it make it even more magical. I fell in love with the venue the first day we saw it and just knew we had to have our wedding there, it was perfect. All in all our experience with Kindred Oaks and their team was phenomenal and we are so happy we selected them, they truly made our wedding experience amazing!

No stress Wedding!

Elaine and her team are absolute professionals! They have most everything covered when you book Kindred Oaks. As a bride during COVID, I didn’t want to have to worry about much of anything and if you go with this venue, your prayers are answered! The only real decisions you make on your own is finding an officiant, getting a cake and transportation really. Everything else is taken care of in the Texas Package. My wedding ran seamlessly. Elaine and her team have it down to a mad science to where the bride and groom get to really enjoy themselves and their guests. The venue itself is so romantic and having Zuzu Petals on site makes it even easier when picking out your florals. I would recommend Kindred Oaks a million times. You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful Venue

Elaine and her team made everything so easy for me. I can’t tell you how stressful the thought of wedding planning was for me. I booked Kindred Oaks just a few months before my wedding and it was the best thing for me. Elaine made everything so easy and already has a team of vendors that she works with. All I had to do was pick a few things out and that was it! They respond quickly to emails and are always offering to let you come see the venue. My actual wedding day ran smoothly and I had barely any stress as they took care of everything. My actual wedding pictures turned out amazing at this venue and all my guest loved the views. On top of all of this they clean up after your wedding is over. I can’t say enough good things about Elaine and everyone at Kindred Oaks.

Gorgeous Private Venue in the Hills

Kindred Oaks is the absolute best! The venue is incredibly well kept, has a dozen gorgeous spots for your big day, and Elaine and her team are amazing with their communication and support the whole way up to the wedding. We got married on April 24th 2021 and it was beyond perfect. They even have an onsite B&B that you can stay at if you'd like to skip the post-wedding travel. The bridal suite was perfect for our party of 6 to get ready in, and the preferred vendors that Elaine suggested were all wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

Wedding Dream

My husband and I booked our venue from states away without seeing the venue in person until 2 months before our wedding. I would highly recommend this venue to all my friends and family members. Elaine and her staff are so kind and enthusiastic when handling all your wedding needs. When looking for a venue I was torn between two places and I am so happy I made the choice for KO! I am still constantly receiving compliments about the venue's beauty. I was a very frantic bride because it rained all week and on my wedding day. The rain would only stop here and there. I had to choose to risk it for the outside ceremony of my dreams or plan B. Let me tell you guys, plan B was gorgeous! I can remember walking down the aisle with my dad and hearing the rain pour on the roof. What a beautiful sound! Make sure you guys love the plan B as much as plan A! I also loved that you can rent linen from the venue, which made it less stressful. Another wonderful thing about this venue is that you really do not need a lot of décor due to the natural beauty of the venue itself. If you still are on the fence about choosing KO go for a tour! Magical in Every Way!

After deciding to move our wedding from a backyard event to a venue, we immediately fell in love with Kindred Oaks after making an appointment and touring the property. It was the only venue we looked at for our wedding and we knew we had picked the right spot. The day of the event was so magical. Everyone that we came into contact with from the Kindred Oaks team was so friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. With having to host so many events day in and day out, Elaine and the rest of the team made us feel like we were the only bride and groom they worked with. In addition to the wonderful people who helped us, the property itself is absolutely stunning. Our wedding truly did feel like a fairy tale. The bridal suite created the perfect environment to get ready for the big day, and all of the nature around the property created a beautiful and ethereal atmosphere. Dancing with my husband on the dance floor under the lights made me feel like I was dancing under a shower of shooting stars. I could go on and one about how wonderful this venue is. Simply a Dream Come True

There are no words to describe the amazing treatment my family and I received. From start to finish, Elaine, Heather, Elaine's husband, THE ENTIRE STAFF was HEAVEN sent. I got married Feb 25th 2021, so yes, it was covid season. We all had the best time of our lives. That day Elaine and her staff did everything and anything you can think of to make sure everything went perfect. Honestly, I can't stretch anymore how amazing these wonderful people are. Their presence and spirit is everything!! So clean and beautiful that place was. You MUST book with them if you want a fairytale wedding. That was one of the best decisions, I've ever made. They will not disappoint. The property speaks for itself it's so beautiful! I want to get married to my husband over and over again just so we can do it there. Also take the advice from them when choosing vendors!!! The whole experience was amazing thanks to Karen and her team at Kindred Oaks!!!

Perfect in every way!

This venue is amazing! The outdoor archway with a view of the river, the gorgeous green landscape, the outdoor dance floor surrounded in twinkling lights, the fireplaces in the reception hall making it feel so cozy and intimate. I highly recommend visiting this venue, because I guarantee it will take your breath away.
A beautiful venue alone, wasn't it though. Elaine and everyone else who works here worked so hard to make sure we knew everything we needed to know and answered all of our questions super fast. My wedding would not have gone as smoothly without their help and kindness

Beautiful outdoor venue and awesome team.

Elaine and team were so great to work with. The venue was just perfect for what we were looking for and even though we had to reschedule a little later due to COVID quarantine in place during May, our smaller June wedding was beautiful and perfect! They were easy to work with, gracious, and you can really tell they love what they do and are proud of their venue!

You cannot find a more beautiful setting than Kindred Oaks for your wedding. Expansive views, several ceremony site options (each one gorgeous) including an amazing chapel, and amazing amounts of room for celebrating. And I cannot say enough about the staff and their incredibly helpful, supportive attitude and efficiency. I highly recommend Kindred Oaks for your wedding and reception! You can’t go wrong here!

A beautiful venue for our daughters special day!

We chose Kindred for our daughters wedding on March 8, 2020. Everything was beautiful - memorial - wonderful. We chose the package with BBQ and it was awesome! Working with Elaine was an added blessing, she is kind, loving, helpful and accommodating. I had no worries. Our daughter had the wedding of her dreams and we are so blessed!!

Excellent Venue with

Excellent experience for our wedding. We opted for an inclusive package and were thrilled with everything. It was like having a “destination wedding” (in town ) because it was all handled and made so easy for us. The decor & flowers were beautiful, the cake delicious, the food amazing, the dj was so fun, and the planning and execution of the wedding went seamlessly. The people at Kindred Oaks are true professionals as well as the vendors they use!

Incredible venue and staff!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Kindred Oaks in May of 2019. Elaine and the rest of the staff were awesome! During the whole process they were reachable and responsive. My husband and I are from the Northeast so we used their all inclusive wedding package. The venue does not needing too much extra decor and is beautiful on it's own. Our special day was absolutely gorgeous and our friends and families had a blast! All of our guests raved about how the gorgeous and unique the venue was. The day of Elaine was onsite and made sure that we didn't have to worry about things going smoothly. Our whole experience was made less stressful and at the end of the day we knew we made the right decision with KO!

Perfection

I loved everything about this venue. Everyone was so nice and easy to work with. The venue itself is gorgeous. The trees are beautiful and provide the perfect backdrop. I did one of the inclusive packages which made the whole planning process so much easier. This venue and all the vendors they directed me to made all my wedding dreams come true.

Elaine answered every question incredibly promptly. They have the wedding process down. Most beautiful venue - twinkle lights & chandeliers in the trees over the dance floor. It was a magical day & the venue made it even more magical.

Beautiful and Perfect!

If I could rate Kindred Oaks higher than 5 stars, I would. I guess I'll start off with how wonderful Elaine, the owner, is. From the moment I stepped onto their property, she was so welcoming and nice. I really felt like I was home when talking with her. She not only gave me all the information I needed from day one, but sat me down and explained everything in detail. No surprises from this venue, because she explains it all. Even before we decided on Kindred Oaks, she would email me just wondering how our search was going and put no pressure on us at all. Once we decided on Kindred Oaks for our wedding of about 120 people, she and her crew there were in constant communication with me through the entire experience. I never once felt like I was planning this alone, ( I never hired a wedding planer) and felt like their crew were the unsung heroes of the night. They helped me with every little detail and kept me on schedule for all of my other vendors I was looking for as well. They helped orchestrate the rehearsal onsite the day before, and they helped the day of the wedding run so smoothly. Let's just say the day of our wedding went perfect because of them.

The next thing and a HUGE thing that I can not say enough is, THIS VENUE IS GORGEOUS!!! I fell in love with this place the moment I got there. The pictures on the website are just a little glimpse of how beautiful this place really is. Kindred Oaks has lot of land, multiple open areas for guests to walk and mingle, a giant wooden LOVE sign that is lit up at night, a beautiful wooden deck with a tree in the middle, and a pavilion with a fireplace and old wooden doors on one side. Another thing that I really liked was the kids play ground they had off to the side. Our wedding was kid friendly and that was such a plus to have that day for the kids. The inside is accommodating with a bridal and groom room to get ready in and a private honeymoon suite to end the night with. If you love the outdoors and twinkling lights on oak trees, this place is for you.

The final thing that really impressed me about the entire experience was how they had Heather with ZuZu Petals (flowers) on site for me to visit and talk about table decor, flower arrangements, bouquet... everything! It made things really easy to visualize what our wedding would look like beforehand, and that helped me feel like everything was going to look perfect. It looked more perfect that I could ever imagine. ZuZu Petals listened to me and went above and beyond with my vision.

If you are looking for a venue that has a great package deal, and is also extremely beautiful, just go to Kindred Oaks and talk to Elaine. I promise you will not regret it.

Truly Wonderful

Many wedding venues in the Austin area are beautiful but not all of them have a caring, patient, professional staff to help you with anything you need. The crew at Kindred Oaks were always so kind and they did everything + more to ensure our big day was perfect.

Amazing! Kindred Oaks is a dream come true!

Everyone at Kindred Oaks is absolutely amazing! They made planning our wedding a stressless breeze and we could not have been more thrilled with how everything turned out! Our guests are still contacting us about how elegant it was and how unique the venue is. Greatest experience ever!

We loved Kindred Oaks so much. Right after we got engaged, we looked online found this place and set up a time to visit. When we walked on the property, it was love at first site. This is all made easier by the amazing staff at Kindred Oaks. They made the process of everything so easy and I highly recommend their packages. Perfect venue, perfect staff. We knew from our first meeting with the KO crew that they were the venue for us. They are PROs through and through and made our whole planning process so easy. they are responsive, prepared, experienced, and organized. Our big day went off without a hitch thanks to them and any uh-oh moments were hidden from us. not to mention the venue is gorgeous!! the bridal and groom suites are spacious and well lit and the grounds are great for all ages. the view is gorgeous too! we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Great venue! We were able to capture some great photos throughout the ceremony and reception. We did get rain on our special day, but at Kindred they were able accommodate very quickly. A big thank you to Donna our wedding coordinator. I was able to keep my sanity in check because Donna was taking care of absolutely everything. Also, a big thank you to the whole KO team, you guys are awesome!

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I haven’t one complaint about anything. If you’re looking for professionalism with a mix of personalization then this is the place to book. God couldn't have sent me a better venue with heaven sent staff. Even Olin in the floral (ZuZus Petals) was amazing, he captured the very essence of what I was looking for. The team at Kindred Oaks made sure the entire event went great! Even though it may cost a bit more to have a package deal, I would recommend it, especially considering the price and headache of having to coordinate a wedding on your own.
I recommend looking at their preferred vendors as they really do a great job. I also recommend taking their marriage counseling class, not only for the marriage certificate discount (which is awesome) but because the instructor seriously knows his stuff and gives you some cool communication tips even if you have been in a relationship for a long time.
Elaine and the staff made sure we were treated like royalty from start to finish, even making sure we had breakfast for our early morning departure from the honeymoon suite. For my bride to be beaming from ear to ear through the entire process is worth every dollar we spent. Thanks guys!!

Our daughter's wedding was magical. The staff at Kindred Oaks is outstanding. From the moment we signed a contract to the actual wedding, every detail was looked over with precision. The grounds are gorgeous with numerous places to take wonderful pictures. I strongly recommend the package deal as it saved us money and allowed us to do things we might not afford otherwise. The day of our daughter's wedding we feared it would rain and the staff was fully prepared for anything weather wise. We had a short rainfall but that allowed the photographer to take pictures with rain as well as the sun. I thought I would not hire a wedding planner but Donna Aleman came highly recommended and she was spectacular. Donna helped me decide where to spend my money and what to skip. She held monthly then weekly calls with us (we live on Galveston Island) to review the status of our tasks. She was patient beyond belief and worth four times her charge. I totally recommend Kindred Oaks to anyone seeking a romantic and beautiful setting. We spent four weekends touring all of Austin and surrounding area before we found Kindred.

Kindred Oaks was an incredible venue with really great staff. Everything leading up to the wedding felt organized and thorough. Our guests were so impressed with the layout of the venue and how beautiful it was set up. We did the package deal and thought it was definitely worth the money at the end of the day. The flowers were gorgeous, I"m just so happy with ZuZus. The day of coordinating had a couple hick-ups that they dealt with super quick and professionally. All in all, I loved Kindred Oaks! There are not enough words for me to explain how much I loved working with Kindred Oaks. Booking Kindred Oaks for our wedding was one of the BEST decisions I could have ever made. The wedding packages with preferred vendors that they offer make the wedding planning process so simple, which was key for me as I was planning my wedding as a full time student in college while also working. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and professional and they are always willing to answer any questions you have in a timely manner. Besides all of that, there are so many small things that this venue and the staff have to offer that make it truly one-of-a-kind and so very special to get married at. You absolutely CANNOT go wrong with Kindred Oaks!

I can't even begin to describe how happy I am with my decision to hold my wedding at Kindred Oaks. The venue is so incredibly beautiful and romantic. The staff is so sweet, responsive, and wonderful. I never waited more than a day for an answer to any of my questions and they constantly surprised me with how on top of everything they were. The girls are enthusiastic and excited for you at all times, and a calming presence when you need them. Heather and Elaine were my day of coordinators and everything ran flawlessly. I didn't choose to use their all-inclusive package, but I did use several of their vendors (Zuzu's Petals, D&C Entertainment, Hill Country Events). There is a huge benefit to using vendors that are so familiar with Kindred Oaks, it just makes the whole thing even more effortless. I loved having Zuzu's Petals on-site-no delivery fee or returns or any of that, and they did an amazing job. I love how spacious and open Kindred Oaks is as well. I just can't stop thinking about how perfect everything is at Kindred Oaks. The dressing rooms are gorgeous and the honeymoon suite is such an awesome way to end your night there. When we got to the suite it had a bottle of champagne chilling, cake and cupcakes from the wedding, and a few of our centerpiece flowers. There is not a single detail that Kindred Oaks has not thought of. They take care of the little stuff too-like hiring the police officer. I just can't say enough positive things about the staff at Kindred Oaks, the beauty of the venue, or the perfect night we had. One more quick shout-out: the outdoor dance floor is gorgeous and really gives a nice flow to the ceremony (outside for dancing, under the pavillion for drinks and talking.

I can not say enough good things about Kindred Oaks. They are absolutely the best! I had a lot of questions leading up to our wedding day and the staff at Kindred Oaks were always quick to respond, most of the time same day! Elaine, the owner, is so kind and has so much experience I always felt like I was in good hands with her and her team. They have a monthly open house and one time when we were getting pretty close to our wedding day I stopped by and Elaine took the time to sit with me and walk through our day of timeline and ease all of the concerns I had and answer every question. She is just really amazing!

We had the staff there do our full setup and coordination of the day and it was so worth it! Every single detail was taken care of and the day could not have been more perfect. Even months later we are still receiving compliments on how perfect the day was! They go above and beyond with everything.

It has taken me 2 months to try to find the words to describe my daughter's fairytale wedding at Kindred Oaks. I still don't have adequate words, but it's past time to recognize these folks for their outstanding service and beautiful venue. My daughter chose Kindred Oaks for several reasons. Initially, the natural beauty of KO drew her in. Just a few minutes from major roads, the venue is situated on a lush, green property. You feel totally away from the city and get some great views. Landscaping is perfect in accenting the huge shade trees. Upon meeting with the staff, we felt so comfortable, almost as if we had known them for years! Elaine, Heather, and Whitney obviously have lots of experience with weddings because each time we spoke with them, they had great suggestions and answers for us. Steve was available to talk to us about how he sets up the site for events, and to go over their reassuring plan in case of bad weather. Throughout our year of planning, every contact we made with the office was answered immediately, or promptly responded to with a phone call or an email. I had a few mother of the bride panic moments and Elaine was so understanding and always made me feel better. Even though I know KO has lots of brides they work with, we felt as if we were the only clients. Every single detail was addressed and we are still getting compliments from our guests. Thank everybody ay KO for a perfect wedding with memories we will cherish forever!

We had a March wedding at Kindred Oaks and couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue. We planned the entire wedding from out of town after visiting the venue once when shopping around for a location. Elaine, Whitney, Morgan and Heather and their entire team were always in sync with the planning and made the planning so easy. Our guests loved the beautiful outdoor venue and continually said it was one of the best weddings they had been to. While the venue itself was breathtaking and didn’t need much added decor, we worked with their onsite florist Zuzu’s Petals for bouquets and centerpieces. They did an amazing job and I got tons of compliments on my bouquet. It was so nice to be able to enjoy the location when all of our guests left and the Kindred staff left us with cake, champagne and a to-go box of our wedding meal. Plus, they brought us a great breakfast in the morning. I worked almost entirely with vendors from their recommended list and we heard nothing but fantastic things about Kindred Oaks from everyone. Because the vendors were all familiar with venue and wanted to maintain their status as a preferred vendor, they worked seamlessly with Kindred Oaks. We couldn’t have asked for more. Kindred Oaks and their vendors truly made our wedding day the best day ever. Even months after our wedding, we are consistently hearing from friends and family that it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to.

These ladies are absolutely amazing at what they do. I found out about this venue online. I live in Hawaii so I knew planning a Texas wedding would be no easy feat - or at least that's what I thought. After we chose Kindred Oaks as our venue, Elaine, Heather and Whitney simply made planning our wedding a breeze. They had a quick answer for every question I had and were able to assist me with every request. Their response time was always within 24 hours and that is hard to beat. I felt at ease knowing they would be by my side on our special day.

We chose the package deal for the venue and it was the best decision. They handled so much for us regarding communicating with our vendors to make sure everything was set. They are the real deal and know their trade inside and out.

Fast forward to the day of our wedding and my smile when I pulled up to the venue said it all. Breathtaking, beyond perfect, more than I could have ever wished for - those are the words I use to describe how I felt. The tables were set up exactly how we requested them down to every picture frame and piece of decor. Our wedding guests described the venue as rustic/gorgeous and that's exactly what it is. The venue is already beautifully decorated with shining lights and hanging chandeliers which eliminates the need to go over the top with what you bring in.

Elaine and Heather didn't miss a beat at the wedding. They directed our wedding party during the ceremony and made sure everyone was where they needed to be, they helped me with my veil before I walked down the aisle, if anything needed to be taken care of these ladies were already handling it. I couldn't even tell you if something went wrong that day because they surely fixed it before it could happen. They are wedding superheroes and I am so happy they were there to share our special day with us and simply made it PERFECT.

If you are still questioning what venue to use, stop now. This is it. You will not be disappointed.

We planned for our wedding to be outdoors, however it was pouring down rain on our wedding day. The staff was kind enough to set up both the outdoor and indoor ceremony sites just in case the rain let up. We ended up doing it inside and it was absolutely perfect! Kindred Oaks was the perfect place to host the laidback, outdoor wedding my husband and I had always envisioned. We booked KO sight unseen because we were living out of state when we started wedding planning, but we were completely confident in our choice. Seeing it for the first time a few months later, our initial feelings were confirmed - we had booked a beautiful, unique event space, tucked away in the hill country. The helpfulness of the KO staff was just a bonus. The staff were so hands-on and incredible to work with, always patiently answering my questions in every email and phone call. And how many people get a beautiful honeymoon suite on site complete with morning brunch? One of our favorite parts of our night was after all the guests went home and we just sat on the porch with the trees lit up, eating leftover dessert and debriefing. We received so many compliments from our wedding guests about the gorgeous space and if we could go back in time we would pick KO again and again.

Kindred Oaks was one of those locations you feel was a special find. We had tried several vendors before and were not impressed, felt our money was not being used, and felt like just another couple in a sea of them. Then we went to Kindred Oaks open house. Changed everything. The venue itself is stunning during the day and the night. It almost needs no decoration as it is simply beautiful. Then you find out several vendors know the site and know each other, so they all work well together. Even better. You find out about the packages that make getting all the wedding details locked, paid for and completed easier. Remarkable. Finally, you meet the team. Wow. Truly wonderful folks who love what they do and take pride in bringing couples together. Really loves all of it. I would recommend this location to everyone. HOneslty, attend the open house and you will fall in love. It is fantastic.

Kindred Oaks made our wedding amazing. We were married there this past weekend (10/24/15), and we could not have asked for a better wedding. Even with a hurricane going on outside, everything ran smoothly, the guests all enjoyed themselves, and the setting was beautiful. I must have sent hundreds of emails throughout the wedding planning process, especially the last couple weeks leading up to my wedding, and I always received a prompt response, usually within a couple of hours. We also hired them to serve as our "day-of coordinator", and from the moment we arrived at the venue on our wedding day until we left, we didn't have to do a single thing- they took care of everything for us the entire night, and made everything look beautiful. If I were to go through the wedding planning process again, I would absolutely have my wedding at Kindred Oaks again. Thank you, KO!

I got married May 16, 2015 at Kindred Oaks, and it could not have been more perfect! From the very beginning, Elaine, along with all the ladies at Kindred Oaks, made the whole process easy and fun. They were always on top of things even if I wasn't. They had tons of recommendations, a list of vendors, and a vast amount of knowledge on everything wedding! They were even able to recommend me a pastor when mine backed out less than a month before the wedding! The ladies are so incredibly nice, and are able to handle even the most panicked bride! The closer it got to my wedding day, the more emails I sent, and every one of them was answered either the same day or the next! On the wedding day, everyone at Kindred Oaks bent over backwards to make sure everything went perfectly for us. Our wedding was perfect, our guests LOVED the venue, and the ladies there are some of the sweetest I have met! I have nothing but praise to dish out to Kindred Oaks!

When we found Kindred Oaks, we instantly fell in love with the entire package. Our wedding day was absolutely amazing and the staff at Kindred Oaks turned our dreams into a reality.

The main draw to Kindred Oaks for me was the Plan B that they have for any bad weather. Fortunately, we were able to have our slightly chilly ceremony outside, but we were prepared and equally excited at the option of moving the ceremony indoors. For anyone that once an outdoor wedding, I strongly recommend looking at this venue to save yourself the stress and panic of worrying about the weather.

The packages that they have available are amazing and truly worth the money. Everything was taken care of and coordinated by the Kindred Oaks staff. Every email and phone call was answered with the utmost professionalism and detail.On the day of the wedding, they were there every step of the way and ensured that everything ran smoothly and just as we had pictured it.

We received many, many compliments on the venue and the staff throughout the night. We wouldn't have changed a thing!Absolute dream!!!

We wanted a quaint and intimate location to have our small wedding, but not spend a small fortune to rent it. Kindred Oaks not only provided this, but as part of the package we were given use of the "honeymoon suite" along with a breakfast the following morning. No other venue we looked at provided these two options in their pricing which was not a factor, but it was a superb bonus. The venue had multiple locations to use, but in our situation it was a little on the chilly side and by using the fireplace we were able to be warm and have that feel of intimacy that we felt was needed for our special day. EXCELLENT location, perfect price, and the staff was extremely friendly along with the owners which all gave the feeling that they sincerely wanted us to be happy and have that perfect wedding.

The folks at Kindred Oaks are completely amazing and so very helpful. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and was beyond all of our expectations. Everything was perfect, down to the tiniest of details. This venue is absolutely gorgeous and the owners and staff, while completely out of sight during the events, help everything run so smoothly. Our wedding was two months ago and our friends and family still cannot stop talking about it! :)

We decided to use one of their all inclusive packages, adding Donna Aleman's wedding planning services. If you are looking for a hassle free option, this is the way to go! We were never stressed during the planning stages as KO and Donna help you with every step of the process -- from choosing a caterer to a photographer to a DJ to whatever. The entire planning stage was so much fun and very easy. We couldn't have picked a better venue to work with!

Kindred Oaks was the first venue we visited and it was love at first sight. None of the other beautiful venues in and around the Austin area could compare to the service and beauty offered by Kindred Oaks. From the moment we met Sarah (our wedding coordinator) it was pretty much decided K.O. would be our venue. She is so warm and friendly and was helpful from the moment we met months before the wedding until she bid us goodnight when letting us into the honeymoon suite after our wedding. Kindred Oaks runs their beautiful wedding venue as if they are your family are hosting a wedding for someone they love.
From the gorgeous outlook to the beautiful stone fireplace in the reception hall every spot there looks warm and inviting to your guests. Our friends and family have not stopped talking about how much fun they had at our wedding and we know we owe that in large part to Kindred Oaks.
We now consider all of the K.O. team part of the Lin family!

I had the wedding of my dreams, everything was absolutely perfect! The staff is very friendly and the grounds were very well kept. The lights in the trees and reception area (and dance floor) give the perfect romantic setting. Honeymoon suite is gorgeous and so relaxing to have after the wedding. Breakfast the next morning was so delicious. Wouldn't have gotten married anywhere else, absolutely amazing!

Kindred Oaks was amazing! The venue is gorgeous and the staff are wonderful. They helped me pull off the best day ever. The Ladies that work at Kindred Oaks are exceptional and very knowledgeable in anything you could ever need. They stay close in touch throughout the whole process to answer any questions you may have, whenever needed.

I would definitely use Kindred Oaks over and over again. I give them 6 stars!!

Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life. Thus, it is important to find the right venue to host such a special day. Kindred Oaks and the KO Team come HIGHLY recommended to anyone who is in the planning process of their special day. It is is an incredible venue with a sweet, rustic charm, and the staff are some of the most kind and genuine people we have ever met.

We are so happy to have had the Kindred Oaks scenery as the backdrop to our outdoor wedding, and we are even more grateful to have had the help of KO staff (Elaine, Sarah, Donna, etc..) to transform our wedding dreams into reality.

Our daughter and son-in-law were married last month at Kindred Oaks. We could not be more impressed with the beautiful setting and excellent staff. We were planning the wedding from a distance which can be tricky, but Elaine and the staff made it all so easy! They were always quick to respond to questions and patiently guided us through the whole process; I can not say enough about how wonderful everyone at Kindred Oaks was!! By the time the wedding was over, we felt like we were leaving family. The wedding itself surpassed our expectations; the staff was so supportive and was there for us with whatever we needed! The amazing beauty of the facility and the professionalism of the staff can not be surpassed. We have so many memories of our daughter's wedding that we will always cherish- Thank you to all at Kindred Oaks!!!

My husband, Brian, and I got married on March 22nd at Kindred Oaks in Georgetown, Texas. We were engaged for about a year and KO was the first venue we toured. They have an open house once a month where they invite vendors to come and meet with couples. This was super helpful in our planning. We were able to choose all our vendors (even our travel agent for our honeymoon!) from these open houses. There was always something tasty to eat and drink too! Kindred Oaks offers a wonderful package deal with 3 price levels (depending on food) that was very competitive with any other venue we priced. It’s also soooo beautiful out there! They have done a great job of maintaining the grounds. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous everything was. They offer a honeymoon suite on site, so that you can stay and relax. They even bring you breakfast in the morning! Elaine and the other staff members were always super punctual about answering questions and were very easy to work with. I appreciate greatly that they are very upfront about their pricing. This is very uncommon in the wedding world! An awesome place for a beautiful wedding!

When me and my fiancé first got engaged we started looking around for venue's. Somehow we stumbled upon Kindred Oaks. After attending an open house we knew that it was the perfect venue for us. My now husband and I both have crazy hectic schedules so we choose to do the complete package and also hired Donna as our planner. The staff at Kindred Oaks was amazing and our wedding was a huge hit. Zuzu's did an amazing job with all the center pieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. Donna was an exceptional planner and took care of pretty much everything. Alcohol was served by Hill country events they did a fantastic job keeping up with our crowd. I have no complaints at all. I would highly recommend Kindred Oaks to anyone who is looking for a wonderful venue.

Another great thing about Kindred Oaks is that they have a honeymoon suite on site. After the wedding was over and everyone went home my husband and I were able to sit on the porch at Kindred Oaks and look out over where we had just perviously said our vows and recap on our night.

Kindred Oaks was fantastic for many reasons. The property is beautiful, it was even better than I imagined. The staff is so helpful and calm. They remain on top of things so you don't have to worry. Not only are they helpful on the day of the event, but in every way leading up to the event. They made sure we didn't forget a thing. I'm so happy to have found Kindred Oaks.

My fiancé and I just got married here a few days ago and the wedding could NOT have been more perfect. The ladies that work here (Elaine, Sarah, and Heather) are kind, helpful, encouraging, and wonderful people. Throughout the entire planning process they never failed to respond to calls or emails with perfect timeliness, and fabulous helpfulness. Each one took a very active part in our wedding planning and our wedding day and provided very valuable time and encouragement on the overwhelming day as we scrambled to get things together. Any time I or my husband needed anything done, it seemed as though they were always nearby, stepping in to pick up any task we needed completed. It was so wonderful. In addition, the location and the venue are gorgeous. Both are already decorated with lights and little chandeliers making it an already beautiful canvas to work with. All I needed to do was decorate with just a few little things to make it personal to Chase and I. They also have a beautiful back up plan if the weather will not allow an outdoor ceremony, the indoor reception area can be made into the ceremony site as well. My fiancé and I always joked that even if the weather turned out bad, the back up plan was no loss because it was just as beautiful a setting as the plan A. These people know what they are doing, they are naturally equipped to handle stress and lots of people running around and they are so personable. Every time I called with a question all I needed to say was " Hey, its Kaitlyn" and they knew exactly who I was. I would never recommend any other place over this one, it is truly the best. Chase and I had the perfect day here and we will remember the great fun and help we had for the rest of our lives.

Elaine and her team at Kindred Oaks are fabulous!! I don't think I would have been as calm and collected during the planning process if we didn't have such a wonderful venue and team available to us. Planning with the preferred vendors was easy and helped get me on track. We got so many compliments on the venue, location and how accommodating the team was. It ended up raining until about 2 minutes before the ceremony and everyone joined forces to wipe off seats so we could have the wedding under the beautiful arbor. It was a perfect day. The dance floor is probably my favorite space with the chandeliers and lights. You will not be disappointed if you choose Kindred Oaks!

These women are hands down the only reason I did not elope. They are amazing at what they do. Every time I had a question/freak out moment they calmed me down and assured me everything is taken care of. They have thought of everything. They were extremely respectful to me and my husband and all of our guests. I would recommend this location to anyone! It is a breathtaking place that really becomes your own and makes you feel as if it's your home and not a place you are just renting out.

Elaine, Heather, and Sarah were AWESOME! They answered all of my questions, they were there to help me through every bump in the road. Our wedding day was chaotic, but they helped calm me down and made the day so incredibly special and beautiful. We laughed and cried tears of joy with these special women. I loved that our newlywed suite was on site so we didn't have to go anywhere after the reception and the gourmet breakfast the next morning was perfect! We are already planning a stay in the suite again for our anniversary! I cannot say enough great things about this venue and the people who work there. You can't beat the packages here, they include everything except cake and photography, but Elaine provided me with some amazing vendors to choose from for those services. I highly recommend this venue to every bride looking in the Austin area.

Kindred Oaks and Family by far made our big day incredibly special!! From the moment we first sat with Elaine and Steve we felt completely welcome. I began planning in June for our November wedding and their All Inclusive package made planning my wedding in less than 6 months not only possible but amazing! They were always very fast at responding to my questions and concerns and walking me through the processes. I loved the fact that all of the vendors they work with are like one big family so you won't have to worry about one vendor stepping on another's toes, they are all one team working to make your day perfect! I would love to name everyone there on my wedding day by name but I wouldn't want to leave anyone out as they were all so wonderful, from greeting us as soon as we pulled up to seeing us to our beautiful Honeymoon Suite once everyone was gone.

The grounds are absolutely picturesque, there were so many places to take amazing portraits. It is just magical at night with all the lights twinkling and chandeliers hanging in the reception areas. We continue to get compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything was. The only complaint anyone had was not by fault of the venue; some guests were caught off guard by being asked to leave the grounds when the get away was over but I didn't explain to them how that would all work. We explained to them that they were just trying to get us settled in to enjoy our wedding night together! (Not to mention none of us know what it's like to get somewhat intoxicated party goers on their way at the end of the night) As long as you explain the rules to your guests there will be no surprises.

Wrapping up our time at Kindred Oaks was a wonderful breakfast in the morning and some time to enjoy the grounds in the morning. So peaceful and beautiful. We also enjoyed the cute kitties that live on the property :) Thank you so much Kindred Oaks for such an amazing experience we will remember forever.

I was married at Kindred Oaks 2 years ago, and it remains the most amazing memory of my life. When planning the wedding we went to about 7 venues and toured. Kindred Oaks was the ONLY place that I was beaming from ear to ear after the tour. They were very open and honest and straightforward with me in that tour, and while getting my parents to come visit to give the final approval and put down a deposit. The venue itself was the perfect mix of indoor/outdoor, rustic beauty and an appreciation of the natural surroundings. The preparations leading up to the day were wonderful; they work with a team of vendors that really help ease the entire process. They also host open houses and several events so you can meet vendors, talk to other brides, talk to the staff and keep sane while planning. I liked every staff member I met, talking for hours with them and remaining friends with a few of them to this day, two years later.
I still receive questions and compliments from people that attended the wedding, from asking about the venue itself to telling me they've never been to another one as beautiful and well organized.
I am writing this review in reflection of our recent anniversary. We reserved and stayed at Kindred Oaks on our 2 year anniversary. We arrived later at night than we had wanted to, but everything was set up for us. We took a walk through the grounds, which have not only been maintained but made into even more intimate and special background for a wedding. My husband and I toured through all the rooms, reliving the memories of our wedding, and finding out little details that the other didn’t know. Like - The place where he first saw me in my dress and started crying. The place where I first saw him walking nervously around and felt all of the butterflies in my tummy.
If you are looking for a special, once in a lifetime moment, Kindred Oaks is really the place to go. They open their arms and treat you like family.

Kindred Oaks is seriously a 5/5 venue. From the sheer beauty of the place to the friendliness of the staff - I cannot imagine having my wedding any where else. The grounds are beautifully lit at night to create the best pictures, and the dance floor is magical. The fact that they have a honeymoon suit for the bride and groom to stay in on their wedding night is genius! We loved it so much and really took the stress off of figuring out what to do that night. Plus they provide a custom breakfast in bed the next morning. Elaine and whole staff were so attentive to my needs the entire planning process and on my wedding day. People were always doting on me, making sure I was happy. I felt like a princess! I would recommend this place to everyone in Austin looking to get married at a beautiful, rustic venue with charm.

Kindred Oaks

Kindred Oaks hosted our wedding on May 27, 2013 (take note- they stayed open on a Monday for us... I believe we were their fourth booking of the holiday weekend). We used their package option and it was probably the best decision we made throughout the entire process! Elaine and her staff were so welcoming and easy to work with. They listened carefully to my few ideas, were honest in their feedback, and offered lots of creative suggestions when we had questions. Elaine also listened to problems that weren't exactly wedding ceremony/reception related and provided us with lots of helpful advice! (:

The lack of stress in my planning process I attribute almost entirely to Kindred Oaks. They took care of all of those little details that might slip through the cracks- catering number changes, coordinating table placement, tying a zillion chair ties just right...

On the day of the wedding, I had no big responsibilities and no worries of any size. Tables and flower arrangements were tactfully moved before I even knew and Elaine was quietly sneaking around asking questions that were absolutely necessary and keeping things running smoothly.

After the ceremony and reception, it was so nice to be able relax in the honeymoon suite without having to travel far. Our Tuesday morning breakfast from Eudora's Cuisine was delicious as well!

Walking into our wedding, I was more impressed than I ever could have hoped for and that feeling carried through the entire night. A huge thanks to everyone at Kindred Oaks for a simply marvelous experience!

When we started looking at wedding venues last January, Kindred Oaks was the first place we visited. We immediately fell in love with the place. It has a Texas Hill country feel to it and the grounds, pavilion and wedding arbor are gorgeous. My daughter and son-in-law didn't want to look any further. Kindred Oaks felt right, so we booked right then and there. We were never disappointed. Working with Elaine and her staff was a dream. Elaine is Zen woman...nothing ever ruffles her calm demeanor and she is full of helpful advice. I loved that they have a Plan B option in case of inclement weather, so I didn't spend a lot of time worrying about the weather on the wedding day. Luckily, we were blessed with perfect weather and Kindred Oaks felt magical that night, with the twinkling lights in the oak trees and the crickets chirping in the background. Elaine has a list of preferred vendors based on her experience. We did not go wrong when we stuck to her list, only when we hired a limo company not on her vendor list. Kindred Oaks met and exceeded all of our expectations for the perfect wedding for our daughter. I highly recommend it!

I previously wrote a review and realized that I was fresh off a bad mood and would like to recant what I said. I had a couple people in my ear telling me all the things that were wrong and wasn't listening to the 150 plus people that were telling me how everything was amazing! While it was rather hot in the Groom's room and Bridal suite, I'll say that is the only real complaint I have. Elaine, the owner happened to be sick the night of our wedding so her husband was there. Looking back, he wasn't in a bad mood, I'm sure he was just very overwhelmed! Candace and the other woman there were by far more helpful than I could have imaged. Before the wedding, Elaine was so prompt to respond and so helpful with everything. I am in the process of trying to figure out how to take the previous review down but can't figure it out. Therefore, I gave them all fives! Please do not let a bad mood shine over what an absolutely beautiful place Kindred is and what a pretty awesome staff they have!

Thank you to Elaine and her entire team at Kindred Oaks for providing a storybook wedding for our daughter and son-in-law. The venue itself is beautiful with its view of the lake, twinkling lights, covered eating veranda and separate dance floor. We chose to use the vendors on the package and we very glad that we did. Each vendor was first-class, particularly Culinary Delights that provided excellent food and service. Using Donna and her team as wedding coordinators made wedding preparation easier and the whole day carefree. By using the package, Elaine and her vendors took care of everything. The package was economical and we only had to make a single payment except for the photographer and wedding dress. Kindred Oaks was the perfect choice for our special day!!

As mother of the bride I could not have asked for a better place for my daughter to get married. Elaine, Steve and all the staff did an amazing job. They did such a wonderful job that there was nothing to be stressed over. Using there vendors made the planning oh so easy and stress free.

Our guests were so impressed and had a great time and are still talking about it a month later.

I loved Kindred Oaks! We had such a beautiful wedding, and everyone who worked there was really nice! The only issues I ever had were with Eudora's the primary culinary vendor they work with, but as we were able to bring another company, it worked out great! I love the amount of time they give you, it really makes for a calmer wedding, and adds to the environment. It was also really nice getting to stay the night there and not have to worry about honeymoon details for at least a little while! I loved it and would definitely recommend it!

There just aren't enough words to say how wonderful Kindred Oaks is! Our day was absolutely perfect, despite the rainy weather! Their facility is absolutely gorgeous, and 1 month later, we are STILL getting compliments about how wonderful the facility is, and how nice and courteous the staff is.

We decided to move the ceremony into the pavilion at the rehearsal, and on the day of they made it look like we had planned it that way all along! They didn't bat an eye with the changes we made at the rehearsal, and they really put me at ease. I really do think our plan B (by the fireplace) turned out prettier than the plan A would have been. So gorgeous and perfect for a winter wedding!

Elaine and her staff were so nice and responsive when we had questions/concerns. The all-inclusive package is worth every dime, and probably saved me from tons of extra stress. I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day, b/c I knew they would have everything handled. They let me be able to sit back, get pampered and enjoy the day to the fullest. If something went wrong on my wedding day, I'm not aware of it - either nothing went wrong, or they didn't tell me - which is exactly as it should be!

Their honeymoon suite is absolutely gorgeous! They added so many nice little touches for us (leftover flowers from our wedding, cake, leftover wine/beer), they just made us feel right at home, and the little touches just made our night extra special.

Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect at Kindred Oaks. From our first meeting Elaine was extremely helpful and provided so much input into making our day extra special. Elaine and Steven have worked so hard to make the venue unique, and even in the year up to our wedding have made so many wonderful changes to the venue to really set it apart from other places in the area. On the day of our wedding, everything went so smoothly that I kept wondering when the first hiccup would come (as everyone expects one issue on their wedding day) and it never came. The staff worked so hard that day that everything went perfect and it honestly was the best day of my life. After the wedding, I received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how unique it was.

I couldn't dream of a better venue to get married at. The venue was so beautiful there is natural greenery and flowers where not much decorations was needed. Eliane and her staff were so helpful in planning and when we had questions they were very easy to get in touch with. On our wedding day they assisted with those finishing touches so that the wedding went off without a hitch. I would recomend Kindred Oaks to anyone. Demetria

This was one of the best experiences of my life! They made it so easy and stress free. The Texas package was awesome! Everything they promised and more was taken care of and everybody had the best time!

Elaine and the team at Kindred Oaks truly does treat you like family. They take care of every detail and walk you through every step of planning. On the actual day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch and it was absolutely gorgeous, and everyone had an amazing time.

We worked with Heather from ZuZu's Petals and she did an incredible job - everything was beautiful and just what we hoped for.

I wouldn't have changed a minute of my wedding day or the planning leading up to the day, and it's all because of the amazing, dedicated staff at Kindred Oaks.

I'm Elaine's daughter, so some might think that I have a biased opinion about my experience, but everyone who works at Kindred Oaks does their best to treat every one of their brides like family, so I'm not too far from any other bride who has gotten married here :) The only thing about having my wedding at a family run business is that pretty much everyone who works there was invited as a guest, so there weren't many people to work the wedding! The fact that my wedding still went off without a problem tells you how well things are run at KO. My mom made it clear at the beginning of my wedding planning that I didn't have to get married at Kindred Oaks but for me it wasn't much of a question. Even removing any family ties from the situation, the beautiful atmosphere still made it the perfect place for my wedding. In the end I'm still technically biased, but read all of the other glowing reviews on here and know that I'm not alone in my assessment! :)

Wow! Kindred Oaks is a wonderful place for a wedding and we highly recommend this venue in all ways. What a lovely setting in the trees. Everything was just beautiful. Owners Elaine and Steve are easy and fun to work with and they really work hard to make the place look great and function great; they made our special day very special! We wound up with great weather but their pre-designed and built-in “rain plan” took the worry out of the weather. The on-site honeymoon suite was a very “sweet” topper to the evening. It was beautifully set up (candles, flowers, music, champagne, Jacuzzi) and being able to kick back immediately after the big event without any travel time was a superb treat for the bride and groom, as well as having access to the kitchen for a late night snack and being served breakfast the next morning. The floral folks at ZuZu’s Petals provided beautiful high quality service and flowers. Their bartender team (Amy at Hill Country Events) was fun and “spot on” with their suggestions (great Sangria). Thanks to Elaine and Steve and Kindred Oaks for an incredible wedding and many outstanding memories!!!

If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor venue in the Texas Hill Country, then definitely give this place a look. I loved this venue from the minute I set foot on the property.
The wooden plank dance floor and the twinkle lights are lovely for dancing, and the stone walkway to the ceremony site is gorgeous.
While other venues in the area have similar concepts, this one is best because they upkeep the property regularly, always making improvements over the years. Elaine, her husband and her team are WONDERFUL to work with and help out with WAY more than they need to. They went above and beyond for us to make everything go smoothly.
Brides--the bridal chamber where you change with your girls is AWESOME. There is a massive full-length mirror that everyone agreed makes you look thinner and mirrors throughout for your bridesmaids to use to put on makeup, as well as a big ol' wall-length closet to hang dresses, and a bathroom and a shower. Plus, you have a full view of the ceremony site and you can watch from the window as your guests show up!

All I can say is Elaine and Steve have it all ready for you on your wedding day. As the mother of the bride, I was so stressed out, but Elaine helps get it all together. We arrived in the morning of our daughter's Sunday evening wedding to get all our tables decorated, bows on the chairs, appetizers set up, and then to get us all ready and not pulling out everyone's little bit of hair left.
The facility is so beautiful for an outdoor wedding and reception, and it is even more spectacular after dark. She had a small wedding party and wedding and everything was so gorgeous that, I could not have wished it to be any more beautiful on her day!
Preparing for their wedding, we went to open house to see everything and also took the guys down for a visit about 6 months before. Elaine is full of ideas and suggestions that are so very helpful, you can't ever imagine! She is there helping with whatever you need and assigns one of her assistants to you with your plans and on the BIG day. Even my husband, dad, was impressed.
If you want a spectacular outdoor wedding in the country at a beautiful country house, this is the place to go!!!!!!

We couldn't of asked for a better wedding day! Everything from the staff, service and venue was phenomenal. And Zuzu's Pedals did an extraordinary job on our flowers. The best part was that they are onsite at Kindred Oaks! Even though it did rain at our wedding, it was a blessing in disguise! It is a memory we will always cherish and remember and are so glad we chose Kindred Oaks as our venue! We would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone!

Elaine and the team at Kindred Oaks really made our day special. It started from the first time we met. Elaine remembered my name and date every time I called, all the way to day of, they remembered sooo many small details that I forgot. The venue was beautiful and awe inspiring. All of my guests raved about how beautiful the place was.

I truly believe that could not have gotten better service from anyone or place in Texas. Thank you Kindred Oaks.

The owners and staff at this venue are nothing short of amazing. They made us feel right at home and were always available. They made our day as special as it deserved to be. I don't think that we could of accomplished that with out them.

Oh my gosh...I can't say enough how much I am in love with Kindred Oaks. Fairy tale venue, with Elaine as a fairy godmother. T
he price may be high for some tight budgets, but it is worth every penny...and truth be told, it is not bad at all for what you get. Not only do you get this amazing venue for both ceremony and reception, you get your tables, chairs, help cleaning up AND your honeymoon suite for your first night married is on location...plus the most decadent breakfast ever = AMAZING.
I love this place and am so glad we picked it for the wedding...we want to come back just to do the bed and breakfast.
Totally, yes, you should get married or host your event here.
