    Dress Preservation

    Wonderful customer service with great attention to detail! I took my dress to Kimmel's after my wedding for it to be cleaned and preserved, I got it back and it was like a brand new dress! Highly recommend Kimmel Wedding Gown Specialist for all your dress needs!

    This company did a phenomenal job cleaning my wedding dress. We got married on a beach and the bottom half of my dress got extremely dirty. I even walked through black mulch and they made it spotless. Their quality of care is priceless and I’m so grateful my dress was in their hands for the preservation. Everyone is friendly and easy to communicate your needs with. I find comfort in knowing my dress will be in great condition for the rest of my life. Thanks Kimmel’s for the amazing work you do. You’re the best!!!!

    I would like to thank Kimmel Cleaners for taking such good care of my daughters wedding dress. When we dropped it off they were very attentive to the detail of the dress and went over every bead, and found some of the beads were missing and they offered to replace them to make it look brand new again. They also cleaned the sash that was worn with the dress, and when they packaged the dress in the box they placed the sash on the dress as it was worn for the wedding. When I picked up the dress I was so excited to see the box they packed it in had a window to be able to always see the dress and sash. To further protect the dress, the box was packed in a dust free cover. Instructions and a nice letter was included in case we ever have further questions about the dress. We couldn't be happier with the care they showed us and for the professionalism in handling my daughters dress. Thank you so much.

    We had a wonderful experience with this company! They are so friendly and accommodating - very easy to work with, yet also very professional. We had our daughter's wedding dress cleaned and preserved - it is such a precious and sentimental thing - and they took wonderful care of it! We highly recommend them!

    You're not going to find any place better than Kimmel's! They did an outstanding job on my grandma's wedding dress by restoring it back to white. They greatly exceeded my expectations, and helped to make my wedding perfect! I highly recommend!!

    The staff at Kimmel are amazing! They went over my dress with me to find any little spot that may need special attention. They sewed buttons back on, explained everything. They were so kind during the whole process. The staff allowed me to come back in and view my dress after it was cleaned, before they preserved it. Kathy Kimmel came out and chatted with us & explained the materials they use, how to store my preserved gown, and how everything worked. I was nervous to send my wedding dress off to some random company to be cleaned with not knowing if something would happen to it. Kimmel Cleaners made me feel so much better keeping my precious dress safe. Kimmel keeps everything in house, you know exactly who is working on your dress, and that they truely care that they take extra precautions to protect your dress. Plus it is a bonus to support a small town business. I would highly recommend them to anyone!. Thank you Kimmels!

    KImmel's service is outstanding. Kathi and Angie met with me and explained in detail the process of cleaning and preserving my daughter's dress. They notified me that I could come over and look at the dress before they packaged it. I did that, and the dress looked wonderful. They did a very thorough job! My daughter and I are thrilled!

    Kimmel's did a wonderful job packing my wedding gown! We did a destination wedding and they packed my dress into a box that was perfect size to be my carry on luggage to take on the plane so there would be no chance of it getting lost! When we arrived at our destination I was able to just hang my dress, no wrinkles, no ironing needed they packed it so well! I would highly recommend Kimmel's!

    As mother of the bride, I was very satisfied with the personal service we received at Kimme'ls. In regards to comparison with other cleaners/restorators, because Kimmel's was recommended to us by the seamstress who altered my mother's 62-year-old wedding dress, we did not take the dress to any other cleaners for their opinion/estimate.

    I have known about the Kimmel Corp. reputation for a long time. They have been known to be reasonably priced and provide a high quality of service. When it came to my wedding dress, I was still nervous about how it would turn out. Wasted thoughts, because they did a fabulous job!

    After getting married in Mexico, partying in the sun and sand, drinking plenty of margaritas, and dancing our night away... Then returning to Ohio, to repeat the whole thing over at our reception, my dress was...trashed. Unfortunately, not on purpose... I had dirt and sand all through my dress, margaritas and wine spilled down my dress... and quite possibly beer inside my dress (from that group shotgun), my gown definitely showed the amount of fun we had! A few months after our celebration, we relocated to another city, then again a year later, relocated again... all the while, my poor dress sat in the basement festering... So fast-forward three years after my wedding, I finally got the time to pull my dress out, to my surprise, the stains were darker and the smell was stinkier. I reached out to Kathy to ask her if there was even any hope for my dress, and the cost associated with cleaning something so soiled, and she reassured me, it wasn't too late! I am so grateful that her team was able to take such amazing care of preserving my dress for many years to come, all for a VERY reasonable cost! Knowing her quite personally for a few years, I knew I could trust that my dress was in great hands, but was even more elated when she sent me the photos of it! If Kathy and her team aren't miracle workers, I don't know who is! My dress looks brand new! Seriously, there's no need to head to big name business to be price gouged (believe me, Columbus cleaners wanted $500-700 to clean my dress)! Head to a hometown cleaner who will make sure your dress is pristine, all while giving you personal and quality service! I can't thank Kimmel Cleaners enough :) <3

    I cannot say enough about the service that I received at Kimmel Cleaners. I have decided to wear my Mother's wedding gown for my wedding on 9-9-11. The dress had yellowed significantly over the past 38 years and there were several stains so I searched high and low looking for a restoration specialist that I could trust this gown with. I live in Chicago so one would think that I would be able to find a reliable cleaner there...but I couldn't. So on a trip back to Cleveland I stopped by Kimmel Cleaners to drop off my Mom's gown. First of all, customer service was amazing and they all seemed to be just as excited about the gown as I was. Secondly, the time frame to have the dress restored was just over a week. And lastly, my Mom's dress/my dress turned out absolutely perfect!!!! I highly recommend Kimmel Cleaners for gown restoration!!!!!

    Kimmel Corp. did an excellent job in cleaning and preserving my grandmother’s wedding gown from 1929, my damaged gown from 1988 and my daughter’s gown

    What a blessing it was to learn of Kimmel Corp. and the excellent service they provide in cleaning and preserving wedding gowns. After my daughter was married, I was extremely cautious about where to take her gown, being that my wedding gown had been damaged by a company during the cleaning and preservation process 28 years earlier. Kimmel did such an outstanding job on Allison’s dress that I asked if they might be willing to look at my gown and my grandmother’s as well, from 1929. I am so thankful I entrusted Kimmel with these damaged and old gowns. They worked extremely hard to make these gowns look like new and were so wonderful to work with. Kimmel Corp. can be counted on for beautifully preserving wedding gowns, no matter what the age. I can’t thank them enough!

    My wedding dress and shoes were covered with mud, and they told me it wouldn't be a problem. I had my doubts, but when I saw the dress it looked like the day I bought it. They did a great job with my shoes, and I know they can be very challenging to clean. Kimmel's even let my grandmother-in-law come in to see how it was bustled and packaged. I was very happy with my experience with Kimmel's. Emily

    You will get personalized attention with this company, which I greatly appreciated. They offer a lifetime warranty on their work if you keep the box sealed, but you can see the dress before they box it up to make sure it was cleaned well. They also give you a pair of gloves in case you do want to take it out of the box later. These are all reasons why I felt like it was worth it to pay a little more to use this company than to ship off my dress to a company that charged less but also offered much less.

    I had my daughter-in-law's wedding gown restored and preserved for a Christmas gift 3 years after their wedding. Since it had been so long and the dress was so soiled we were not sure how it would turn out, but it turned out better than I could have expected! They were able to get out all the stains and repaired the intricate beading. My daughter-in-law cried when she saw it!
