Kim is super responsive and sweet. Her store is beautiful and clean and high end. She had lots of options and I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for there! Definitely recommend them in the Philly area, a lot of the stores I tried felt like they don’t hear you in what you’re looking for and try to push you into certain dresses or styles, but I had the opposite experience here. They were also very accommodating when I had questions afterward!Kimberly James Bridal's reply:

I couldn't have been more pleased with my overall experience. My consultant Jess was so nice. She immediately just understood my style and made me feel so comfortable. I found an amazing dress that day and it arrived quickly. Then when I found out I was pregnant after I already had my dress, working with Kim to order extra fabric and discuss options was a breeze. She was always so responsive via email. I would highly recommend Kimberly James Bridal!!Kimberly James Bridal's reply:

Best little hidden gem bridal boutique in Philadelphia
Kimberly James Bridal was the first stop on my dress hunt and it was the perfect first experience. Kim made me feel so at ease with what could have been a very stressful situation. I felt like she really understood what I wanted even when I didn't. I tried on a few dresses and wound up buying the second dress I tried on. It was perfect. I was able to get the dress of my dreams and I didn't have to empty my bank account. Also, Kim never made me feel pressured into buying anything. Another thing that was nice was, my friends were allowed to take pictures. Which to me was important because I know some other bridal salons won't let you do that. From trying on my dress, to picking it up, I felt seen and heard by Kim. Kim and her team's priorities are you and your happiness, and you will undoubtably feel that when you're there. A One-of-a-Kind Experience
Shopping at Kimberly James was a one-of-a-kind experience. Prior to coming to this shop, I had been to at least 5 others and never felt comfortable about finding my dress. I was honestly starting to lose hope. I randomly decided to book an appointment at Kimberly James (during my lunch break, and I was alone) and as soon as I walked in I immediately knew I would find my dress. Juliana did a great job at making me feel comfortable and she did not rush me at all as I tried on several dresses. She is the one that actually picked the dress I chose, and I absolutely loved it. I loved it here so much I actually came back for an accessories appointment and purchased my hairpiece and veil from this shop. The pricing was surprisingly reasonable, and you can tell Kimberly really takes time to hand pick the pieces in her shop. Also, the owner was super responsive, we exchanged a few emails regarding the veil I wanted and to set up pickup for my dress. She always got back to me quickly and was so kind. Kimberly James Bridal was the second bridal shop that I went to, and it was the last! The shop is a beautiful show room in the adorable neighborhood of Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. As a bride who was dreading dress shopping, Kimberly made this experience so comfortable, pressure-free and special. All appointments are private, which is perfect for brides who need a little extra time and attention. Kimberly allows you to pull your own dresses for try on, and combines this with her expertise of style. She was in no way pushy or overbearing, as some shop owners can be. All of the dresses were reasonably priced, and she carries many accessories in her shop as well. The dress I chose was absolutely perfect for our venue and made me feel like a real princess. I would recommend Kimberly James Bridal to any bride looking for a personal and professional bridal gown shopping experience! Thank you, thank you, thank you! -

Kimberly James Bridal was my very first stop when going shopping for my wedding dress. I was immediately impressed the moment I stepped foot in the shop. First, I love that the shop is exclusive to you and your guests during your appointment -- I felt so special knowing that I was the only bride shopping during my time slot. The personal welcome sign on the door was a sweet added touch.
Rachel was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the appointment. She encouraged me to try on all different styles of dresses, and she really helped me figure out what worked best for my body. She was sweet and friendly, making great conversation the whole time we tried on dresses. I later went back for a second visit where Kim helped me try on one of my favorite dresses from my first visit. It was such a pleasure to work with her, as well!
Although I ended up purchasing a dress elsewhere, I cannot say enough positive things about Rachel, Kim and the Kimberly James Bridal experience. I hope to re-visit the shop soon to pick up some other items for my shower/wedding as I hope to be able to support this wonderful business. -

I just got my dress at Kimberly James Bridal and I couldn't be happier! I visited two other bridal shops on the same day I visited here and they just did not compare... The intimacy, the setup, the location... just everything! Let's start off with the fact that they only take one appointment at a time, so you have the whole boutique to yourself and your family and friends for your appointment, which I thought made my experience way more personable. Rachel was my consultant and she was phenomenal! She clearly went over everything in detail, and subsequently allowed you to pick out as many dresses as you'd like to try on. She was patient and informative. I had an appointment after this one, and I just didn't get the same vibe as I got at Kimberly James. I just knew MY wedding dress was THERE. I even called afterwards so I could go back to the shop to try on the dress that I couldn't get off my mind, and I'm so glad I did. Even though the salon was closing 15 minutes prior, Rachel waited for me to come back. She was patient, fun, and engaged with my family and me the entire time. I must've tried on my dress at least 5 times and she was so accommodating. I am so happy I said yes to the dress at Kimberly James Bridal! 10/10 would recommend!Kimberly James Bridal's reply:

My experience at KJB was wonderful! From the moment I contacted Kim to schedule my appointment she made me feel comfortable and excited to find my dress. I asked a bunch of questions as a nervous bride-to-be and she was quick to put my mind at ease that the appointment would be just the two of us figuring out what I want. Having the salon to myself in a private appointment with my family is exactly how I needed to shop! The salon is gorgeous and comfortable and we felt like we were having a girls day out while shopping. When it came to trying the dresses on, Kim was right next to me in the dressing room being positive and reassuring with every single dress to make sure I was comfortable and could make a decision based on how I felt wearing them. There was no pressure to make a decision right away, but she helped me find a dress I truly loved! Every bride deserves a personal touch shopping experience. Shopping here was the best part of my wedding planning! -

Kim and her gorgeous salon offer the most perfect dress shopping experience. I had honestly not been enjoying dress shopping until a mutual friend told be about Kim's shop. Appointments at Kim's shop are totally private, she even closes and locks the door so no one else can wander in. I tried on several beautiful gowns, but unfortunately still wasn't finding something that felt like "me". Kim said to me "It's not my job to sell you a dress, it's my job to help you find the dress you love." I ultimately purchased my dress elsewhere, but knew that I wanted to come back to Kim for everything else because her words really took the pressure off helped me enjoy the process! I made a second appointment and Kim was so gracious in allowing me to bring my dress into her shop so that I could try on veils and accessories. Kim has an equally lovely selection of veils, belts, jewelry, hair pieces, etc and offered great recommendations for what would go nicely with my dress and style, even prompting me to consider options that I wouldn't have on my own. Kim truly focuses on each individual bride. I'll be telling every bride-to-be about Kimberly James! Thanks Kim!
