Exceptional Experience!

My husband and I could not have been happier and more thankful for the most beautiful ceremony that Kim performed for us. Her calm and kind demeanor set the tone for our very small and intimate wedding as she embraced the love that we share for one another with her eloquent words. We will always remember Kim for making our most precious day together truly something memorable and so dear to us. Many can be ordained to marry someone, but Kim is not just anybody. She puts love, care and professionalism in her service. With no hesitance, we recommend highly!

Wonderful and Caring Officient!

Kim did an amazing job officiating our wedding, and made it unique and customized to who WE are. She even showed up the day before for our rehearsal and was highly instrumental in making sure it all went without a hitch. She was recommended by my uncle who considers her a great friend which only made it that much more personal. I highly recommend Kim for your officiant needs.

Couldn't have asked for a better ceremony experience!

Kim Session was amazing to work with! She gave us the most meaningful ceremony without including any religious aspects (as requested). We received soooo many compliments from our guests on Kim's beautiful words! The ceremony was "us," and the love that we share for each other was first and foremost. We cannot thank Kim enough for making our wedding so special! We truly cherish our ceremony and all her words and will remember them as we go through life together! Thank you so much Kim!

Look no Further....

Professional in every way, Flexible with our changes, Listened and adapted and advised. Kim worked with my daughter and her fiance regarding their recent April 2021 wedding. The ceremony was the one part of the wedding that my daughter wanted to be a surprise to me. Kim's professional, kind, intelligent, and gracious demeanor was perfect for delivering the couple's messages and vows. The officiant was high up on my list of "things that mattered most" for my daughter's wedding. Kim Session exceeded my expectations for having a meaningful, sweet ceremony. I was not a part of the pre ceremony plans with Ms Session, but I know from my daughter and her then, fiance........that they very much enjoyed working with her and felt she listened carefully to what they thought to be important and then worked and reworked what was to be expressed during the ceremony. We all very highly recommend Kim Session as a wedding officiant!

Beautifully Written Vows & A Lovely Ceremony

Kim performed a beautiful ceremony for our wedding. It all began with a draft of vows she had written for us based upon a questionnaire she sent to both of us. After several rewrites and a lot of input from us we ended up with the perfect set of vows. My husband threw her a curve by deciding to memorize his vows at the last minute and she didn't miss a beat. The ceremony was beautiful and memorable and we appreciate Kim's input and participation in making our wedding such a wonderful affair.

Kim is literally the best. I didn't know what to expect when picking an officiant, but Kim really set the bar high. She was wonderful to work with! She gave us plenty of time to review our ceremony and was open to any changes we had. Also, I had a meltdown when trying to obtain a marriage license because I was confused about some of the needs needed by the County Clerk. When I e-mailed Kim about these concerns she quickly responded and was as helpful as she could be!! I highly highly recommend her!

We hired Kim for our wedding in February, and she was wonderful. Prior to the big day, she talked with us over phone and email (we live in New Jersey) to get to know us and the type of ceremony we wanted. We filled out a questionnaire for her, and she sent us her ceremony write up a few weeks before. We were able to go over it and edit it a bit to perfectly fit us, and it was great. She attended our rehearsal, and was so helpful, walking us through the main points of how the ceremony would go (along with our Day of Coordinator). She reminded us to look at each other and not her, which was definitely helpful the day of since I tend to look at someone when they’re speaking! ha :) On the day of, she arrived on time (and happened to dress in a black lace dress, which is what my bridesmaids were wearing, and was an awesome coincidence!), and spoke with me a bit beforehand to put me at ease a bit before the ceremony began. The next time I saw her was at the end of the aisle, and the ceremony went beautifully. It was exactly what we wanted. After, she stayed to take a picture with us, and then she left and took care of everything with our license, and we received it back from the state in a timely fashion. We also appreciated that a portion of her fee went to the charity of our choice. We couldn't recommend Kim more, she was great.

Kim officiated our wedding in October, and we're so happy that we chose her! Kim wrote a beautiful ceremony for us, we didn't even have a single change to make after reading it. She writes so poetically, and speaks with such a calm, elegant voice. Thank you Kim for making our ceremony so special!

Kim was amazing to work with for my wedding! She met with me and my husband and we had multiple conversations through calls and emails. She was extremely responsive and wanted to make sure we were completely happy with the ceremony beforehand. She was willing to make the trip 3 hours away from Austin to get to our venue (for the rehearsal the day before and then the wedding) and she did a great job! She created a ceremony so beautiful that had everything we wanted. When we wanted to make a few changes so was happily willing to do so! You can't go wrong with Kim! She's so welcoming to all faiths and backgrounds and will make your ceremony a truly special one!

I’m a firm believer that “everything happens for a reason”, and nothing could be more true about Kim Session. Just days before our wedding, my husband and I received a call from our officiant saying that there was a miscommunication and that she will not be able to officiate our wedding. Luckily, she contacted Kim Session who was willing and ready to step in. Kim immediately put my husband and I at ease and we instantly knew that we were in good hands. On our wedding day, Kim arrived early and delivered such a beautiful wedding ceremony. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable in her presence and we will never forget the way we felt getting married. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I am so happy that Kim Session was a part of it.

We hired Kim Session to provide two separate wedding services for our daughter's wedding. One as officiant and the other as day of coordination services. We could not have chosen anyone better for both services!
Kim was available to answer any and all of our questions. She took extra time to get to know my daughter and her fiance (they live out of state) and created the most beautiful wedding ceremony I think I have ever heard! It was so personal and thoughtful; there was not a dry eye in the place! Everyone talked about it for days and days afterwards!
We also hired Kim, in addition to providing officiant services, to help with the day of coordination. She was exceptional! She made sure everyone was where they needed to be for the champagne toasts and prayer for the reception etc, when they needed to be there and made sure all aspects of the wedding were completed on time. She helped the whole ceremony and reception run smoothly. My daughter's wedding was a huge success in large part to Kim providing excellent, professional and exceptional service. We could not have been more pleased and would recommend Kim Session services as officiant, wedding planning and coordination services to anyone looking for a truly remarkable experience.

Kim was marvelous! She was our officiant on 04/04/16 and before that she was my parent's officiant in 2010. I remembered what a great job she did at their wedding that I knew I wanted her for mine. Kim took the time to work with us to make sure we were completely pleased with the ceremony. She was not only willing to accommodate our special ritual but she went above and beyond by explaining to us how it should work. When we had any questions she was quick to respond and help us out. Kim is such a wonderful and sweet person and she goes above and beyond for her clients. If you are looking for an excellent officiant that is reasonably priced I would definitely recommend Kim Session!

Kim was absolutely amazing! She made sure that everything went down as planned for our special day without any wedding day drama. She was so supportive, and offered advice to my fiancé and I on writing our vowels. Kim also wrote one of the most beautiful ceremonies for us, taking into consideration our families, values and religious/spiritual beliefs.
I cannot imagine this day being more perfect. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for officiant for their wedding day.

Kim did an amazing job for my wedding! We do not live in Austin so it was a destination wedding for us. We were not able to get to Austin before the wedding to meet her but we booked her anyway based on the great reviews we had read on multiple sites. She was quick to respond to emails and as soon as we were paid in full, she had a rough draft ready for review within days! It was perfect, made me cry and we didnt even have to change a thing! She arrived early the day of the wedding and was soooo sweet in person too! She was very patient when I was running behind because I could not find the note I wanted sent to my husband before I walked up. The ceremony was beautiful, it felt like we had known her for years but we had actually just met her before the ceremony! I even woke up the next morning to an email from her saying how nice it was to meet us and to please stay in touch! Ladies, there is a reason she has such great reviews...if you are thinking about booking her for your big day, do it!

Kim did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony and was very easy and professional to work with. We met her in her house in Austin to initially discuss the type of ceremony we wanted and she was very welcoming and even had cookies for us to snack on. After getting a sense of our background and what we wanted in a ceremony she provided us with several readings to choose from and helped us draft and edit our ceremony until it was just the way we wanted it. We live in Houston so throughout the planning process she was very helpful and prompt when responding to my emails. On the day of the wedding she was very punctual and helped coordinate everything for our Chapel Dulcinea wedding - music cues, making sure the guests and groom were in place, signalling the bridal party and myself to enter. I would recommend Kim to any bride, especially anyone getting married at Chapel Dulcinea. Thank you Kim!

Kim Session was fabulous! We contacted her to do the wedding and she was very prompt in getting back with us and letting us know if she had the date available and thankfully she did! She asked about Mehgan and Evan and the wrote the most beautiful vows for them! I don't know how she does it but there wasn't a dry eye at the ceremony! She came out and did our rehearsal and made us all feel so at ease about everything! Thank you Kim for making our special day even more special!

My guests were impressed by how great of a job she did. My guests did not make it easy on her considering that they were 40 minutes late. She was very patient and flexible even though half the family was mad that we started late and the other half was late. She handled it well, and then gave us a stunning ceremony. I highly recommend her!!!!!!!! The writing was beautiful, but it really did blow me away hearing it at the ceremony. She was incredible, and I am so grateful to her for her professionalism!

We wanted a spiritually romantic ceremony with personal vows. Kim wrote a ceremony that was absolutely perfect!!!! She made us feel so comfortable and we did not "stumble" at all along the way!! Kim was just amazing!! Not only was she so helpful and communicative from beginning to end; she gave us the most beautiful ceremony! I didn't hire a wedding planner, or coordinator, and Kim was there to comfort me and walk me through! I was SO happy and deeply moved by her words. My guests also said that it was the most touching ceremony. Kim wrote everything! My husband and I were to nervous to write for ourselves. I cannot put in to words how much of an amazing asset Rev. Kim was to our wedding! From the first conversation I knew she was going to be a perfect fit. She was extremely welcoming and warm and embraced our concept right off the bat - which was extremely important to me;I wanted to make sure our ceremony fit in with our moral code and beliefs. Kim even helped us right our vows, which were perfect. I am still getting compliments on them! I would highly recommend Rev. Kim - she is a joy to work with and makes planning your wedding so easy!

Wow! Kim Session is definitely doing what she is suppose to do in this life! She officiated my daughter's wedding at Chapel Dulcinea and her words gave a new meaning to beautiful. It was one thing to see the vows on paper, but her to speak them in the manner she does is indescribable! There wasn't a dry eye (joyous tears) in the house! Love was truly in the air after she spoke. Kim also took the reins and had everyone in their places prior to the ceremony, which we really needed. She met with each individual prior to the ceremony which brought a sense of ease and comfort. We couldn't be happier!

Our wedding was very last minute due to my mother's illness. She gave me a great deal for her service and was very understanding of my situation and the immediate need of her service. Since this was last minute, I didn't have a wedding coordinator. I was extremely nervous on how the ceremony would run prior to my entrance due to this. Kim was very helpful and knowleadgable on how things should go. I felt at ease with her handling everything. She went slower in the ring exchange b/c my husband and I were nervous on being able to repeat her with all the emotions going on. She was very prompt at responding to the many emails I sent her making sure everything was set and organized. I'm very fortunate to have found her and we are grateful for her service.

We highly recommend Kim as an officiant for wedding ceremonies! Working with Kim was a wonderful experience. She was flexible and provided great communication! Reverend Session was so awesome for us. She created a beautiful and unique ceremony for us and helped us in creating such beautiful and personal vows to each other. Not only did they move us, but our guests were emotional as well. She also gave us the idea for a unique unity ceremony that everyone loved!

If we had interviewed a hundred ministers, we would not have found any one more perfect or more special to provide this service for what was the happiest and most magical day in our lives. Kim did a great job at our wedding. She made suggestions for the ceremony that were new to us and that we really liked. The handfasting ritual was one of her suggestions that we used. I will treasure that moment and that cord forever.
Almost every family member commented on the officiating...saying how professional, kind, heartfelt and truly good it was. I would strongly recommend Kim for any type of wedding ceremony.

Kim was GREAT and made our ceremony special and unique with the words she wrote. The original idea was a "just the two of us" ceremony but just like life all things do not go as planned. So David and I changed our minds and wanted to start our married life with his kids being there on our special day. Since two became four Kim and I worked together and found a way to include the kids in the ceremony and that was just one week before the wedding. One of the things that Kim did that day that we will never forget is ask the kids to sign our marriage certificate and be our witnesses that unplanned moment shows how she considers what will make it more special. Kim Session was our first choice and the right one.

Kim Session performed a baby blessing for our 7 month old daughter at Trattoria Lisina. She did a wonderful job. She is very special to us because she married me and my husband and also performed a baby blessing for our first daughter back in 2009. Everyone knows that weddings are very stressful. However, I can honestly say that my husband and I never once had any worry or doubt concerning Rev. Kim Session. She was responsive, reliable, professional, and personable throughout the entire process. She helped us develop a personal and meaningful ceremony, that I feel was the most beautiful ceremony I have ever witnessed (although I might be a bit biased :) ). Kim prepared the most lovely ceremony I have ever witnessed. Our guests were very complimentary and wanted to know who wrote it all! She met with us and sent us several versions, one of which was spot on for exactly what we were looking for. Kim was wonderful. We eloped and are not from the area so we really had no idea how to find someone to perform the ceremony and not feel completely like a stranger. Kim was perfect. We contacted her via email and she agreed to do the ceremony. She sent me a few questions and based on my answers she created a ceremony which she emailed back in just a couple of days. She told us we could modify it as we wished, but she did such a wonderful job, it was perfect.
We met her just a few minutes before the ceremony and she made me feel so comfortable with her. We have a lovely copy of our ceremony which is fabulous. We brought it to our reception when we got home and there have been nothing but compliments on how lovely the words are. It had a very personal feel and is taylored perfectly to us.

My husband and I had never met Kim before our wedding day. We live in Houston and were getting married in Austin. She did a fantastic job of figuring out what kind of ceremony we wanted (religious, spiritual, etc). When she had an outline of the ceremony written up she emailed us to make sure it was what we wanted. A few weeks before the wedding she checked to see if we wanted to add anything else. Rev. Session was one of the highlights of our ceremony. We wanted a non-denominational garden wedding that highlighted our devotion to each other as well as our friendship, but still wanted a Christian foundation. Reverend Session captured the spirit of our love while also blessing our union with a wonderfully written, custom ceremony and vows.

Our friends and family are still talking about how they actually paid attention to every word that was said. They complimented us on how professional she was and how great our pictures with her looked since she seemed genuinely happy for us. Not only that, but she was a very nice task master who kept us all on track. A few days before the wedding, we were nervous because we were sure what we needed to do. We're **very** happy that we went with the rehearsal that Rev. Session recommended because everyone knew where to go, what to do, and our wedding ceremony looked very natural though it was practiced. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do NOT skip the rehearsal. It's worth the extra fee and will help you relax on the big day.

Rev. Session was the most affordable officiant I could find that I felt comfortable talking to about my wedding. She was courteous and professional and did everything I asked. My only complaint was that on the wedding day, she was in a BIG hurray. I ran a whole 5 minutes late (not my fault - guests were still arriving), and she seemed eager to get us down the aisle as quickly as possible. I literally got dragged down the aisle before I even had a chance to catch my breath because she was rushing things so much. She did a great job performing the ceremony though, and I appreciated that she gave us a printed copy of the whole thing (including our personal vows) on nice paper as a keepsake. I would recommend her, but whatever you do, don't be late!

I chose Kim because of other good reviews I read. I had a very small wedding but it will still very important to me of the quality of the vendors I chose. She seems nice but on the day of the wedding, things where very disorganized. She did not tell anyone in the wedding party what they would say and when even when asked if she would go over all of this before and she agreed because we could not do rehearsal before since we were coming out of town. Therefore, that left her telling everyone what to do and say during the actual ceremony and it was just all disorganized and tacky. It ruined the whole thing for us. On top of that, she interrupted our photography session after the ceremony by calling the photographer and telling him to go and start shooting the wedding after us because they were both vendors for the next one as well and showed up early, when we still had 30 more minutes we paid the photographer for and therefore made the photographer rush. I would not recommend her.
