I could not have been happier with my wedding makeup! She made me feel absolutely beautiful and brought my vision to life perfectly. Sarah Sent on 11/15/2025Kim J and Team Will Make You Feel So Beautiful and Natural on Your Special Day
Kim and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. I booked pretty early, so I got to work with Kim directly, and she has such a calm and kind vibe. She was professional and communicative throughout. I am not a makeup girly and rarely do my hair, so I was very nervous about feeling like myself on my wedding day/ I've always felt a little like a clown when I wear alot of makeup. My trial experience was so positive-- I added extensions as my hair is pretty thin/ fine and also a spray tan, which a member of Kim's team did. I'd never had a spray tan before, and I loved it. I'm very pale, and it was very subtle and glowy. The week before my wedding I got flu and a bad sinus infection, which completely dried out my skin and led to weird red flushing. Kim was so flexible and adaptive, keeping in touch the week before and figuring out a way to still get my makeup on and looking beautiful. She and her team were early and all set up when we arrived, and both moms and all bridesmaids had a really chill/ positive getting ready experience, and we all felt beautiful. Would absolutely recommend. -

Amazing and Highly Recommend!
Kim came to do my hair and makeup for my wedding on 10/18/25. She also did my daughters hair and my niece who was the flower girl. Kim was amazing from beginning to end. She reached out months prior to the wedding to get a sense of what I wanted and we did a trial. On the day of she was prompt, was ready to get going and did an amazing job. She also did an additional hair for my sister and eyelashes for my friend! So flexible! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great experience and to feel their best on their special day. -

We had the best experience with Kim J Beauty for our wedding! From the start, the team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with, which made planning everything from out of town so much less stressful.
Our stylist, Madi, came to our Airbnb on the morning of the wedding and was absolutely amazing. She was so nice, personable, and easy to talk to — it felt like having another friend there with us while we got ready. Not only was she such a calming and fun presence, but she’s also incredibly talented. Our hair and makeup turned out beautifully and lasted all day.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to Madi and the entire Kim J Beauty team for helping make our day so special. Highly recommend! -

I have only the highest praise for Kim and her team, particularly Ashley, who handled my wedding hair and makeup with exceptional skill and care. From our initial consultation through the final touches on the day itself, Kim was consistently professional, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond, even assisting my personal hairstylist and me in selecting the most suitable hair extensions for the occasion, a gesture that speaks volumes about her dedication and expertise.
For our destination microwedding, I had hair and makeup done for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day, and my mother and mother-in-law were also styled on the day of the ceremony. My mother-in-law was so enamored with her makeup that she joked about sleeping in it just to preserve the look for the next day, a testament to the artistry and care that went into every detail.
I first met Ashley during my makeup trial, and we immediately connected. Her approach was grounded in making me feel like the best version of myself, and she was both receptive to my preferences and full of thoughtful suggestions to refine the overall look. Beyond her technical talent, Ashley brought a calm, uplifting energy that proved invaluable amid the whirlwind of wedding-day activity. Thanks to the trial and rehearsal styling, we had a shared vision and rhythm that made the wedding day feel effortless.

From the very beginning, Kim was an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly communicative, warm, and easy to talk to, which instantly put me at ease during the wedding planning process. She set up my trial appointment seamlessly and made the entire experience so enjoyable.
On the day of my wedding, Kim and her team exceeded every expectation. They were professional, organized, and such a calming presence to have around. Kim truly listened to what I envisioned, and somehow managed to make me look even better than I imagined: flawless, glowing, and still very “me.” My makeup lasted all night (through happy tears and dancing!), and my hair stayed picture-perfect until the very end.
Beyond the talent and skill, what really stood out was how kind and thoughtful she was every step of the way. It felt like having a trusted friend by my side on such an important day. My bridesmaids were also thrilled with their looks, the entire team worked efficiently without ever making us feel rushed.
I cannot recommend Kim and her team enough. If you’re looking for someone who is not only incredibly talented but also truly cares about her clients, Kim is the one. She made me feel beautiful, confident, and completely taken care of — and for that, I’ll always be grateful. -

Kim and her team are absolutely amazing. Kim was booked on our day, but I worked with Nancy, Lyndsey, and Camille. They were incredible from start to finish. Kim was so helpful and responsive in getting everything scheduled and set. Nancy, Lyndsey, and Camille were not only on time, they were early, and kept us completely on track for my timeline. I had very few modifications from my hair and makeup trial, but Nancy and Lyndsey listened perfectly and made me feel incredible on my wedding day. Camille did all of the flower girl's hair and they looked perfect. I couldn't recommend them all more. Bridal hair was an updo, but bridesmaids did a mix and all styles worked very well. -

My experience with Kim and her team was nothing but perfect! Pricing definitely matched their quality of work. As a non-makeup wearer I was hesitant to wear a full face for my wedding but my stylist, Madi, exceeded my expectations! I was very pleased with my end result and had never felt prettier! I would 100% book again if needed! -

Would absolutely recommend Kim's salon! I am not from Colorado, but got connected to Kim through our wedding planner. Kim was not able to do my hair and makeup on the day of my wedding, but one of the gals from her salon, Tosha, did. And she was fantastic! I felt so beautiful. Kim was an absolute amazing add to my wedding day! From our first email, to the trial to my big day she made me feel absolute beautiful and was so EASY to bounce ideas on and give the tea too about certain wedding party elements! She and Madi made my bridesmaids and mother and mother of the groom feel beautiful from head to toe and had a great range — full glam to super minimalist which was for my group of ladies. Even my bridesmaids commented nonstop on how great they felt in how they looked. I couldn’t be more grateful to have had Kim and Madi by my side on the day of. Christine at Kim J Beauty saved the day! I was not confident in doing my own wedding hair and makeup and she absolutely nailed everything I asked for. I even threw her for a loop and had a completely different hairstyle picked out than previously planned and she didn’t bat an eye and put it all together so beautifully. She was very professional and personable, you will feel like you’ve known her for years. Beautiful Boho HMU
I had very little inspiration to go off of — basically just wanted something simple and natural — but Kim and her team did such a great job taking the image in my head and creating real magic. Because of the outdoor setting of the ceremony, we had to move the times up. Thankfully, the HMU artist Chloe showed up with plenty of time. My anxiety was immediately dampened. She also gave me a “to-go” bag of touch up items for the actual ceremony site. She thought of everything! I was incredibly impressed and the photos turned out beautifully. -

Kim and Madi did a fantastic job on our hair and makeup! They were so great to work with and we enjoyed talking to them while getting ready just as much as we enjoyed our looks for the wedding day. Some of my bridal party were a bit indecisive, and Kim's team was willing to work with them trying out different styles and adjusting their makeup until everyone felt their best. We really appreciated their flexibility since many of us hadn't had professional makeup or hair done before. We looked gorgeous!!!! -

Planned a small wedding from out of state and Kim made everything so easy! She was super responsive to all inquiries and Ashley did a fantastic job with my hair and make up! They were so easy to work with and everything turned out exactly how I wanted. Hair and make up held up pretty well even after hiking 5.5 miles up a mountain. The Kim J team completed hair and make up for our bridal party, moms, & groomsmen on our wedding. I absolutely loved working with Nicole. In addition to being super talented, she was also incredibly kind and helped put me at ease. In particular, I appreciated that we took the time to revisit all of the notes she took after our trial. A big thank you to her for helping me feel so beautiful throughout my wedding day!
Although I didn’t spend as much time with the other hair and make up artists, the entire Kim J team were professional and problem solvers - my husband has super thick curly hair which he wanted to put up in a bun. 30min before pictures he accidentally snagged the back and the team rushed to put it back up. (That night, I pulled out 37 bobby pins and an actual rubber band from his hair lol - they were not messing around!)
Overall, the team was very easy to work with, super talented, and it was so nice to have such friendly and warm people around as we got ready. -

I had an absolutely amazing wedding day with a huge thanks to my Kim J Beauty stylist, Jessica!
Jessica was so kind and helpful! She kept me and my family calm and gave us so many tips on makeup and connected with us through stories of her family that we could relate to. The mothers were a bit nervous since they don’t wear makeup often, but Jessica really made them comfortable and feel beautiful!!
I am very happy that I did the trial so I had an idea of what things to tweak for the wedding (plus I’m a more anxious person so knowing details of the makeup & hair plan ahead of time really helped control my anxiety).
I adored my hair style, hair extensions, and makeup! There was some rain day of my wedding so after multiple hours outdoors my hair did come a bit un-done. Though the rain did change the appearance of my hair, it still looked beautiful and I don’t think that is something that could have really been avoided by the stylist.

I originally had an awful trial with a different hair and makeup team and I am so happy I found Kim and her team to save the day! Kim and her fabulous team did hair and makeup for me, 10 bridesmaids, and 3 relatives on my wedding day. They were amazing! So professional: communicative, timely, and they went above and beyond. Tina and Jessica from the KimJ Beauty team were fabulous! I was confident after my trial went so well with Tina but somehow I looked even better on my wedding day. I feel like Tina thought about it and made the effort to somehow improve the look and she did!
Also they were so efficient we were able to get done early and have more time for pictures. But they did not rush. I felt like they took their time and all our hair and make up turned out beautiful. They really listened to each of our preferences and made each of us feel beautiful! Each bridesmaid had a unique hair style and make up look, they really can do anything! Jessica was even able to talk to my niece about dinosaurs so she sat still for her hair! Just an amazing job! -

Kim was phenomenal to work with, I can't say enough positive things about her! She listened to my needs and requests and delivered perfectly! Amazingly Professional Experience
Kim's team (I had Jessica) was incredibly professional and really knew hair/makeup. My technician came in and gave me amazing, flawless makeup and when I didn't love my hairstyle in the first go, I felt very comfortable working with her to get it just perfect. Kim J Beauty was an amazing team to work with. I loved my pre-wedding consultation where Kim effortless created a style based on pictures I had pulled from the internet. We tweaked the makeup appearance and found a natural and flattering look for my day.
On the day of she gave me eye masks to make sure I looked my best which helped so much! My mom and grandmother both have short hair and are older and both were nervous about whether their hair and makeup would look natural. Both loved the experience of being pampered and preened over, and looked stunning!

I particularly loved her flexible pricing (my mother in law didn't want her hair done, so we were able to add makeup only for her). Kim was such a joyful start to our day; she had all the girls smiling, laughing, and having a blast before heading out to the wedding. Our hair and makeup lasted all night and I felt so confident! Would hire Kim again in a heartbeat! -

Wedding hair and makeup
My husband and I came to Colorado from South Carolina and got married September 20th! Tina from Kim J Beauty is who came to my air bnb to do my hair and make up! She showed up right on time and had everything she needed to make my dreams come true! I had a couple of ideas and she showed me some she had similar to what I had saved and we settled on one and she did her thing! When it came to make up I didn't have many ideas I just wanted to look like myself but still glamorous. I let her do what she thought would look best and when I tell you she blew me away with my hair and make up its a understatement! She made me feel so comfortable and made sure every step of the way that I was happy! I highly recommend Kim J Beauty not only because of great service but they are very adorable! Coming from out of town and not knowing what to expect can be scary but they were amazing and made my dreams come true for my hair and make up on my Wedding day! -

Kim did the hair and makeup for my daughter and I, for my wedding. I don’t think there are enough words for me to express how outstanding she is!! She was professional, yet down to earth. She was compassionate, caring and ended up feeling like she was family! If we asked for something to be tweaked a little, she was all about making us feel comfortable and heard and was always open to feedback and suggestions.

The BEST Wedding Hair + Make-Up!!!
KimJBeauty was recommended to me by my photographer, Jill Houser, and I am SO happy that I trusted her judgement!! There are so many great things that I can say about Kim and Tina!
First of all, Kim and Tina are incredible at their jobs! One of the things that drew me to Kim initially is that she specializes in natural make-up. I’ve had professional hair and make up done a few times and I have definitely had stylists put on a little too much make up for my liking. I still wanted to look like myself on my wedding day! Kim blew my expectations out of the water! She made me look and feel both gorgeous and like myself. And Kim and Tina also did a wonderful job doing hair and make up for my whole wedding party (8 ppl)! AND it rained on my wedding day and all of our hair and make up stayed perfectly intact!!
Second, I absolutely love Kim! She is such a kind and funny person. I instantly felt comfortable around her. She is so easy to talk to and we were laughing almost the entire morning on my wedding day sharing ridiculous and hilarious stories with my bridesmaids. Kim definitely helped me calm my wedding nerves. I seriously cannot imagine any other stylist I’d rather have spent my day with!

Ashley & Sydney did my bridal trial, as well as on site hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids, my mother in law, and even styled my fiancés long hair. Quite possibly my favorite vendor from my wedding day. Not only did they do BEAUTIFUL work, but effortlessly made any little adjustments needed to make you feel perfect. Kim did an incredible job with my hair and makeup for my wedding! At my trial, she tried things and then started over, just to make sure I was completely satisfied. I asked for light makeup, and she delivered - I even had to ask her to go a little heavier, which she did, and it was perfect. She checked in on me afterwards to make sure my hair and makeup had lasted all day and there was nothing else I wanted to change. On my wedding day, she was so fun to have around while we were getting ready, and me and all of me bridesmaids looked fantastic. -

Kim J Beauty made my wedding hair dreams come true! My husband and I eloped in Loveland Pass, and having them come to me to do my hair was a life saver, as I don’t know the area and had no clue where to start. I was a little worried since I was unable to do a test run, but little did I know I had nothing to worry about! Amy arrived to my Airbnb a little early and was so friendly and down to earth. Kim has a brilliant team of stylists and has been a pleasure to work with! Ashley has been my stylist for my engagement photos and now my wedding photos. She took all my inspiration photos and created something better that I could have imagined. Ashley is a great listener and has an eye for detail - she will make sure you look your best for whatever event and for whatever vision you have in mind for yourself. I hope to work with her again in the future!
Morgan and Jen were also part of the stylist team on the day of! They had so many bridesmaids, moms, and a grandma to take care of and they did amazingly! Everyone loved their hair and make up and felt so pampered and cared for on the day of. My grandmother who has been having a difficult time lately was so happy to get her hair and make up done. Throughout the day, she couldn't stop asking everyone to look at her pretty hair and make up. Thank you again for lifting up her spirits and making her feel so loved on.
