Could not be more thrilled

We loved working with Kim so much! She helped with our timeline, made key recommendations about how to structure family formals, and even made a plan to ensure we got photos painlessly with every single guest. She arrived an hour early, which was amazing. Our day had questionable weather, but she made sure we got all the outdoor shots I really wanted and took advantage of the moments without rain! Could not be more thrilled with Kim - she was so responsive and helpful. And now that we have the photos back, I can't stop staring - they're like a beautiful documentary of the day. Don't doubt - book Kim!

Kim is a very talented photographer who is so fun and easy to work with! Highly recommend!

My husband and I hired Kim to photograph our minimony on February 12th, 2021. Our interaction with Kim throughout the whole experience was very pleasant. It truly exceeded our expectations and we are so extremely happy with her work! The pictures turned out so cute and romantic, we couldn't have envisioned the pictures to be any better. In our first meet-and-greet call, I could immediately tell that Kim is a very thoughtful, kind and personable photographer. Rather than talking all business, she already started imagining the day with us and offered a lot of helpful tips and advice for the big day. It made me feel like she was already our photographer. In the months leading up to the big day, she also helped us brainstorm on various design decisions that are not entirely related to photography. She also took the time to scout the area and shared pictures with us of possible locations for the bride/groom photoshoot and family formals. On the big day, she showed up earlier than she said she would, and she made the whole photography process so easy and fun for us. Our guests had the same impression of Kim. Overall, Kim really went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer on our big day!! Thank you Kim!

Well gosh, where do I start? Let me start with, after the wedding, I told my husband, "I think I want to be her best friend!"

As many of the other reviews mention, Kim was so friendly, funny, and easy to work with. She scheduled a time with me the day before the wedding to get a layout of my parent's house, just so that she could determine the best lighting for our first look. Many of my bridesmaids commented on how this went above and beyond the typical photographer duties.

The actual pictures were stunning. They took my breath away. We are ordering an album through Kim and when she told me to narrow it down to 50, I gasped - it was next to impossible. I have spent hours trying to find the "best" pictures.
I will also note that she got us our pictures within 3 weeks of our wedding. Again, many of my bridesmaids told me that this was not typical; as they waited months for their proofs.

Thank you so much Kim for capturing the beauty of our day - we love our pictures! Oh, and let me know if you want to be best friends ;)

I'm so glad we found Kim Branagan for our wedding photography. She is the ultimate professional and is wildly talented behind the camera lens. Kim did our engagement shoot as well as our full 8-hour wedding day and all of the pictures are truly stunning. We used one of our engagement shoot photos for our save the date and got countless compliments on it. Beyond just her ability with the camera, Kim also kept our entire wedding day on schedule. At one point during our reception, Kim pulled me aside and reminded me that we still needed to do the bouquet toss and the garter toss with only 30 minutes left before our exit - without Kim, I would've completely forgotten those things. She truly became an integral part of our wedding day. Highly recommended!

Kim took photos of me and my closest female friends and cousins the morning of my wedding - I will cherish the photos forever! Not only were the pictures amazing, but Kim was so fun, friendly, and professional. Taking photos on a rocky boat is not the easiest thing, but she captured special candid moments and well as various group portraits. She also got the final photos back in record time, with options to download for printing as well as for social media. I would highly recommend hiring Kim to document your special event - whatever that may be!

You know how sometimes you go through an experience and think, “I would have never gotten through this without __.”? In regards to my wedding, that sentence ends with Kim’s name. First of all, I did not marry a ‘wedding guy.’ My husband hates having his photo taken and much prefers a pair of well-loved Converse to dress shoes. At one point I was prepared to secretly hire a ninja who would stand in the shadows in order to photograph a few moments from our day. Fatefully, we attended a friend’s wedding photographed by Kim and both knew she was the one.

From our first call I felt we were in amazing hands, yet nothing could have prepared me for what she did for us the weekend of our wedding. She flawlessly served as photographer, friend, time manager, emergency cocktail-maker and comedic relief. Flexible, fiercely funny, and fazed by nothing, she conquered both Mother Nature and bridal anxiety. When we realized it was going to rain on our wedding day, Kim shot our portraits they day before. When we wanted to use our South Philly neighborhood as a backdrop, a place where many would see streets lined with bird poop-covered cars, Kim captured an urban jungle of colorful doors and weathered brick walls laced with vines. When Chris said, “I don’t know what to do with my face!” she guided him to "give me more….oof okay no give me less” and captured all of the natural laughs in between that would eventually bring me to tears when they arrived in my inbox.

More than being beautiful, and capturing us exactly as we are, Kim’s photography let us relieve the moments that I thought would simply become memories in my mind. I tried to absorb it all at the time, but the surreal-ness swept me away. So when I saw the photos of the ceremony I was brought to tears. She had captured everything: the laughter, intensity, joy. All of it. Everyone says that your wedding will go by in the blink of an eye and it’s true. Kim gave it to us forever, and in a way that I believe only she could.

Kim was amazing from the first email. You could say that my (now) husband and I are quite specific, especially when it comes to photography. Kim answered all of our questions prior to the day, and day of, she was absolutely amazing. By the end of the day, she felt more like a close friend than someone I met only a few hours earlier.

We had a small intimate wedding with our closest and craziest family on Cumberland Island. Kim was able to capture every emotion, on every face. She was even able to keep my family happily in line long enough to get family photos taken! She took honest and beautiful photos of one of the most important days of my life, and I couldn't be more grateful. Everyone who has seen our photos has told us that it looked like a fairy tale, and I would absolutely agree! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Kim took photos for us for our two year anniversary and we absolutely loved them. The pictures capture our personalities and who we are in our marriage. All I can say is that we truly had fun doing the shoot and the pictures represent that. Kim made it nice and easy to get the best possible photos. There is no one I would suggest to you more than Kim.

I LOVE OUR PHOTOS! Kim took our 2nd anniversary shots, and I couldn't be happier! She captured our fun and love for each other so effortlessly. Everything felt so natural while we were shooting. She was so fun to work with. Some of my favorite shots are when she had us laughing together! If you are looking for an amazing photographer who will make everything easy and fun, you've found her! My fiance and I were nervous about finding the right photographer but we could not have asked for a better one than Kim. She was great from the beginning. Very friendly and wanted to get to know us as a couple and really listened and used that to get shots she knew we would love. We do not live in Savannah but Kim worked with us sending us samples and answering questions to make sure we had everything we needed to make our decision.

She was wonderful at the ceremony and reception. At times I had forgotten she was there as she did a good job of staying out of the way but was still able to get so many good candid photos of us and our guests. My father even thought she was a guest at the wedding, one of our friends from college.

My favorites were probably the ones she caught of my new husband and I when we thought no one was looking. They are beautiful, non-staged photos that will bring you right back to that very moment. Which is exactly what we wanted in a photographer. The day goes by so quickly and for her to capture our favorite moments for us to revisit for years to come is truly a gift.

We took the standard family photos which is sometimes a challenge with my sister's two little ones and the fact that my husbands family lives abroad so it was a great opportunity to get some really nice shots of both sides of the family.

I have to say that we were very impressed with the final product, she did an amazing job of capturing everyone at their best. She is very responsive and easy to get a hold of for questions through out the entire process. I am just looking for an opportunity to use her again. You will not be disappointed.

We booked Kim for our wedding day & our engagement photo session. My fiance & I live in Atlanta but Kim lives in Savannah. She was extremely accommodating and willing to come up during the week to take our engagement photos. Before the session, she sent wardrobe ideas, which were much appreciated by both of us! She made the session fun & relaxed. Kim's a natural & she knows what kind of shot she's looking for before she evens sees it. She picked a specific time of day when the sun was starting to set & with Piedmont Park as our backdrop... the pictures were stunning! We had a blast taking the photos & watching her work. I honestly cannot say enough good things about her! We are looking forward to having her as our photographer for our BIG DAY in February!

Kim photographed our destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico on June 5th. We had an amazing day and Kim captured every wonderful part of it. She has an amazing style, and aside from the photo shoots that we had planned out, there were so many beautiful candid moments that she got as well. I'm fortunate to be able to say that I truly had my dream wedding. Going through the albums I felt like I was re-living the day and was even able to see some great moments with family and friends that I missed as the day flew by :) She also conveniently provided both online access to the albums, which made it super easy to email and share on social media, as well as CD albums. My only problem has been narrowing my favorites down and deciding which ones to frame!

I really cannot recommend Kim highly enough as your wedding photographer. My husband and I had an intimate outdoor ceremony in Whitefield Square and Kim did a beautiful job documenting the lovely surroundings and the joy of the occasion. The posed pictures are nice (and a must-have), but the candids really blew me away and brought tears to my eyes. I was a bit nervous about having many candid shots, as my experience has taught me that at least one person in the picture will be making an awkward face, blinking, or doing something else that kind of ruins it. I have to say, though - Kim's candid shots are the BEST. I don't know how she made everyone so photogenic! The photos of my mom looking at us and beaming, of our guests smiling and laughing, and of my husband and me simply gazing at each other are the ones we will cherish the most. It was as if Kim had known us for years and knew exactly what we wanted. And, although I did not even notice her there until it was time for her to gather us for posed shots, she was very attentive. In fact, when I mentioned that a part of my bouquet had very special meaning for me, she took it aside and spent a couple minutes taking photos of it that turned out to be absolutely stunning.

The turnaround time for our photos was great - just a couple of weeks, and Kim's post-shooting work is fantastic. The shots she chose to finalize in black and white look elegant and timeless. We received a release with our CD so we can upload the pictures, print them on our own, etc., but Kim also offers very reasonably priced print packages.

In sum, don't hesitate to hire Kim. Her prices were MUCH better than others I considered, and her work is as good or better than the examples I saw in other professional photographers' portfolios. We are thrilled with the photos we received and we give her our highest and most enthusiastic recommendation!

I was given Kim's name by Marcia Banes with Savannah Dream Vacations. I wanted to get some photographs of my husband and I while on our second stay in beautiful Savannah GA. Kim was wonderful to work with in getting the date scheduled and the squares to have the pictures taken in. My husband has MS so walking can be a challenge and luckily the home we were staying in was on Monterey Square and Forsyth Square which are two of my favorite squares. Kim made us both feel very comfortable and captured some amazing shots of us in such a natural way. Family and friends also felt a wide range of emotions when they saw the pictures as well. I feel if a photographer can spark an emotion whether it is laughter, joy or tears they are very talented!!! Kim was also gracious enough to set the pictures up in frames that I had mailed to her and she had them back to me in no time. She also had added some flowers she had picked at the squares and dried them and set them in amongst the pictures which just added the perfect touch to the pictures I will treasure for a lifetime! Thank You Kim!!!!

Kim and my fiancé pulled off the BEST surprise engagement! Kim and my fiancé staged an afternoon photo shoot on my college campus. She had requested us as models, but little did I know, my fiancé had contacted her for help pulling off the surprise in addition to having her capture our big moment. She did an amazing job capturing my emotions, from freezing cold, to pure surprise, to happy tears, to joy. She did not miss a beat. She was able to capture an very intimate moment without feeling like she was in the middle of it, which I greatly appreciated! After my surprise proposal, she walked all around campus with us and we had an engagement photo session. The pictures are amazing. We have them all over our walls and we also used them for our save the dates! We would absolutely use her again!

We are overjoyed at the way Kim was able to capture the emotions attendant to the celebration of our daughter's engagement. Unobtrusive in every way, Kim was able to "be there without being there," so that every captured image feels so real and genuine and precious - because they are. The most intimate moments of our future son-in-law's proposal were captured for eternity in a way that truly amounts to high art. What she saw through the lens of her camera became a timeless treasure. We have enjoyed other dimensions of Kim's photography, but her uncanny ability to capture the beauty in life seems to be a natural strong suit in which she excels. We couldn't be happier.

I have had the pleasure to work with Kim on several occasions, and have always come away from our sessions excited to see what moments she has captured. Kim is not only passionate about her work, but she is extremely thorough as well as responsive, and has an artistic eye. Kim is both diligent and energetic, which makes for fun and productive sessions. I was pleasantly surprised by Kim's speedy turn around time, and adore the photos she has taken of my infant (and now toddler) son. Her editing touches really bring out the emotion and expression in the photos. I have received many compliments on Kim's pictures, and am sure they will be family keepsakes as the years roll on. I highly recommend Kim for your photography needs. You will love her work - we certainly do!

It was an absolute joy working with Kim. Her approach to working with people is so natural and comfortable. She took pictures of our two young children and they hardly noticed the camera because they were having so much fun! The pictures that we have are absolutely stunning and will be something that we will treasure for a lifetime.

Kim Branagan is a volunteer photographer at the Humane Society for Greater Savannah who's pictures help our animals get adopted more quickly. If a picture speaks a 1,000 words, Kim's speak about 2,000! No matter how squirmy the animal, Kim can capture it and for that we are so lucky she volunteers her time (and talent!) to our animals.

Kim did such a wonderful job capturing pictures of my busy little toddler for her second birthday! Thank you for being so patient as she ran around the Park Avenue Park. I absolutely adore the photos!
