I would go back to KiKi over and over again.
KiKi's one of the most talented and sweet individuals you'll ever meet. All of the photos she provided us are the top quality and she remained in contact in case we had any other questions or concerns about the photos. I'm absolutely in love with all the work she did for our wedding and engagement pictures. My husband and I both take every opportunity to show off our galleries whenever possible and we always get super positive feedback for how the images all came out. She was the first wedding vendor I knew I wanted when we started wedding planning and she's definitely the best choice we could have ever made.

We absolutely adore Kiki!!! She was so wonderful to work with and was completely laid back and made us feel so comfortable. Her work is absolutely stunning and authentic. We were not looking for super posed photos and she created and captured exactly what we wanted and more. Kiki captured our day with authenticity and the photos felt candid and bring us back to our big day. Our photos were turned around impressively fast as well. We are so grateful that we found Kiki!! Speechless!
KiKi and Doug captured my and my husband's elopement. It was so important that we find the right person to shoot such a special event so we could share with family later. Kiki is so talented and makes photoshoots fun!
We just got 60 photo teasers back from Kiki (only 48 hours after our wedding!!) and we're OBSESSED! We can't stop looking through these beautiful photos! Kiki has such an eye for capturing the special moments, and with a style that really makes our photos a piece of art. She was so relaxed and fun that she got even our most shy guests to pose and get silly. She had my husband and I interact with each other so organically that our photos really look, and are, candid. We were fortunate that Kara was able to do our Engagement photos in January and our Wedding Photos in August as well. They turned out incredible. There was no one else I would have trusted for such special moments and she captured them so well. Our wedding was not perfect and we had to deal with rain, but Kara made it effortless and easy for the photos. My family and friends are so impressed by the photos because they are all beautiful and unique.

Kiki shot our wedding this March. She's a spectacular photographer. Very professional, prompt with responses (you have no idea how important this is until you have a bad photographer), and has a very quick turnaround time. I love the look of her photos. It truly stands out from the rest. Her compositions are well thought out, and the tones she uses are simply stunning. Even though the images she captures are unique, as a collection, they are consistent, and really tell the story of the wedding. She creates art with every photograph and highlights emotions that help bring you back to your special memory. I don’t feel like I can do her any kind of justice telling you about it, you just have to meet her and let her capture your most important moments because the results will take your breath away. She is truly an artist and has provided us with the most magical photos of our wedding. We found it very difficult travelling from the UK having never met Kara, we had blind faith from seeing her work online and speaking with her via email. As soon as we met her all of those issues disappeared, you feel like you have known her for years and she is so much fun we didn’t stop laughing the entire time. She manages to move unnoticed taking pictures (and we had a VERY small wedding) whilst also being an awesome guest and, as it turned out for us, she became a really special part of our day and memories! My husband and I got married last October in Asheville, NC. Kara was an amazing photographer and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding!! She was incredibly responsive and easy to work with during the planning process. Since we live in Chicago, all of our communications with Kara were either over the phone or via email in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. She was available and easy to get in touch with. We didn't meet her in person until the day of our wedding, but instantly felt comfortable with her and knew that we were in good hands. Our entire wedding was indoors and it rained most of our wedding day so we couldn't even venture outside for a couple of pictures. Kara was very versatile and creative in terms of making the best use of the venue and indoor space. We ended up with SO many great wedding pictures that it's hard for my husband and I to decide which ones we want to order and frame in our home!

All of our wedding guests still talk about how amazing she was and how it felt like she was just one of our friends taking our photographs. She was so easy to work and communicate with -- she even put my husband, who absolutely hates taking pictures, at ease and made him comfortable enough to enjoy the process. Kara was, is and always will be THE BEST photographer and human. It's been hard to write this review because I can't put into words how absolutely amazing our experience was. First, Kara is just the best and will become family by the time your wedding day rolls around. She takes the time to get to know you and to understand your wants and needs so that everything is perfect. I highly recommend doing your engagement shoot with her as well. We aren't very comfortable getting our photos taken, but after our engagement shoot was so easy and comfortable - and the photos were amazing - I wasn't anxious about photos at all on our wedding day. I also recommend letting Kara's creativity run wild because she is a true artist. Something may seem weird at the time, but just go with it, she knows what she's doing!
On our wedding day there were a million little things that went wrong with our venue and rentals, but Kara's bright smile and our shared loved of nerdy jokes kept me laughing and calm when I easily could have lost my mind.
When we got our photos back, we were in tears. She captured the day, our love, and our families so perfectly. My only regret is not having Kara in at least one of the family photos!!

Wow- I really cannot say enough good things about Kara. She is phenomenally talented- a true artist. Especially if you have a magical, artistic vision for your wedding, she is the one to book. She turned my dream of an upscale fantasy wedding into a reality- I could have never captured it correctly without her! I've highly recommended Kiki Creates wedding photography to several couples. And I can't help but compare her to other photographers I've seen at weddings, and when I do, the higher my recommendation goes. Because the talent in wedding photography can't be purchased from Canon/Nikon, or captured by Aunt Sarah or Cousin Jimmy. I personally think, it's how comfortable the photographer makes the couple feel and how much effort they make to capture the most important moments of the wedding. That's exactly what Kiki, aka Kara, did for my wife and I. The day felt like a dream and the images she delivered haven't really convinced me otherwise.

Kiki was very professional and our pictures turned out perfect. We have gotten so many compliments on how good our photos are. We also rented the photobooth, which was a big hit. Everyone gets a printed picture strip with a personalized logo created just for the event.

This is the second time we have worked with KiKi. She has not only done our engagement and album but also our wedding and photo booth at the wedding. Of all of the vendors we hired for our wedding, Kiki (Kara) is my favorite. Prior to Kara, we had a really unfortunate situation with a less-than-honest photographer that left us a little weary to hire another for our wedding. However, from the very beginning, Kara was so understanding of the entire situation and was patient with our going through her photography agreement with a fine tooth comb. After that point, everything went so smoothly! Communicating with Kara was easy and she was always quick and responsive to emails. The day of the wedding, she was one of the most important factors in pulling it all together. She knew exactly where and what to do with my groom and I. She and Tanner (her assistant) were so polite and you could definitely tell that dealing with brides and wedding day chaos didn't bother them! They seemed like a very natural part of our wedding. The photos were well worth the wait - you'd assume there would be at least some "meh" pictures in the batch, but no! I loved them all and had the hardest time deciding which to post on Facebook or print out for our scrapbook. All of my friends and family love them.

I honestly can not say enough great things about Kara with Kiki Creates. I was stressing about finding a wedding photographer for my wedding because everyone I loved was outrageously expensive. I somehow stumbled upon KiKi's website and immediately fell in love with her work. After meeting with her in person, viewing more shoots she had done and talking over prices and options, I immediately booked her because not only was her work great, but her prices were SO reasonable! It was the best decision I made for my wedding. She doesn't just take pictures-she creates a piece of art. After we got our engagement photos back, I was even more excited for our actual wedding. And let me tell you-she did not disappoint!! I have had so many people compliment our pictures, and several even ask for her info after seeing how amazing our pictures turned out. She (and Tanner!) are both fun, relaxed, easy-going, and low-stress. She made my husband and I, and everyone in our wedding party feel comfortable, while still staying professional. She laughed and joked with us through out the entire day. It truly was an amazing experience and worth every penny. I will use her for all photo shoots moving forward. You will not regret hiring her!

I cannot say enough great things about Kara. There are so many wedding photographers out there and it was overwhelming to research them all. And not only that, but when I'd look at portfolios, they'd look like pictures I could take myself (and I'm not a photographer). Then I found Kara - her pictures are like art! Right away I was very interested and wanted her to take our pictures - then I went to look at pricing, fearing it would be toooo much based on her quality of her pictures - and she is so reasonably priced! Not only is she so talented, but so fun, kind and disarming...it was so easy doing our pictures with her. I have 1 picture from her so far (our wedding was not even 2 weeks ago at time of writing this review) and seeing just the 1 picture literally made me cry (happy tears!). I cannot WAIT to see the rest! I also love that she has a partner, Ryan, that is there to catch shots from all different angles with Kara was taking her own. Really nice touch to have that second camera to catch those candid shots and shots from afar.

Kara (aka "KiKi") is an amazingly gifted and passionate photographer. My husband and I planned our wedding from afar, so we did not have the luxury of meeting any of our vendors in person. My husband works for a magazine so he is very familiar with some of the things that generally make a good photographer. He grilled her with a list of questions on the initial call and she totally scored 100%! She knows her stuff and it shows in her photos.
The day of, she and Tanner were on time and ready to go. She has a very laid-back demeanor and is good at scoping out areas that will make for good shots. I can't personally speak for her counterpart Tanner's demeanor (he took the groom and groomsmen photos and other candids throughout the day) but the photos he took also turned out great so no complaints!
We also chose KiKi Creates to do a photo booth setup at our reception. We purchased a special backdrop that we wanted to incorporate and they accommodated it with no problem. A fabric background backdrop as well as props were also included in the package. We opted to add on the on-site printed photo strips as well as a photo guest book and both of those were big hits with our guests.
Leading up to the big day, Kara was readily available via email or text for any questions or concerns that I had. I've since received the final, edited photos and they are amazing. Lots of good group shots as well as candids. Her finished photos have a very unique style, which was one of the reasons we initially reached out to her. Choosing KiKi Creates was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and I hope that one day we'll have the chance to work together again.

I absolutely loved working with Kara and her partner Robert on my wedding day and for my engagement photos! They made everything go very smooth! And they made taking pictures not awkward at all! The talent and creativity here is beyond words. Such beautiful photos that look like they were shot in the midst of a fairtytale. Her work is edited to perfection while still keeping true to the subject. Along with her amazing talent, Kiki is a pleasure to work with. She is dedicated to giving her clients the best product and experience possible. I've had the pleasure of attending a couple weddings that she has photographed and also hired her to set up a photo booth for a friend's baby shower. No matter the situation, she directs her business as a very experienced professional. I cannot say enough good things about Kiki and her photography skills. I knew even before I booked her that her pictures would capture our wedding day beautifully because I had seen her work her magic at my friend’s wedding the year before. She completely exceed all expectations, as high as they were, and we received sooooo many compliments from friends and family on how beautiful our wedding pictures were. She used the setting sun to get gorgeous “golden” hued pictures, and used shadows/light to make seemingly ordinary pictures look like art. I cannot recommend her enough. If you are hoping to capture your day and have pictures/memories that are even more brilliant than the day itself…you absolutely need to call Kiki!

Kiki was absolutely fantastic. We loved that she scouted the site first, and had a clear and outstanding plan for where the most beautiful pictures could be taken. She and her assistant were so easy to work with on the day of the wedding, and the photo shoots were a lot of fun. The proof though, is in the pudding! The pictures are unique and amazing. We loved every one and had a difficult time narrowing it down to the album. Kiki just sent us the proofs for the album, which clearly took QUITE a lot of attention and dedication. It's simply fantastic, and she devoted much time to just the correct layout, photo adjustments, and cropping. In short, she was outstanding in every capacity, and we would recommend her highly!

Where do I even begin with Kara?! She was my angel during our engagement shoot and wedding. Nothing ever felt awkward or staged with her throughout the entire process! The day of the engagement shoot she was early, and the day of the wedding she was perfectly on time. Every email was answered in a timely manner (which to a planning Bride is the equivalent of Heaven). The amount of time we booked her for was just perfect enough that we got every thing that I wanted a shot of. My husband and I even snuck away with her for 10-20 minutes during the reception to take some really romantic night shots. She's super creative and thinks outside of the box so that you don't end up with "cookie cutter" wedding photos that every couple has on their mantle/wall. Not to mention, she's hilarious. She broke any tension that built throughout the stress of the day leading up to the ceremony! LOVE LOVE LOVE her! Absolutely recommend!!!

Kiki was great. She was flexible in coming up with a plan that suited our photography needs. She took fantastic pictures and helped us to prepare ahead of time by planning out the shots. She kept people moving. She takes absolutely beautiful artsy photos using the lighting/reflections, and the somehow captures all that beauty while still getting the people. She took some shots that I didn't even know happened, which was so fun to look at afterwards. Within about 48 hours after the wedding she had some teasers up, and in another 6 and 1/2 weeks we had the rest of the shots. She really put us at ease and took care of everything photography related the day of the wedding. We did not take many formal shots, but if I had to give any feedback to future brides, if you are concerned/interested in a lot of the formal shots I would definitely let her know, and I'm sure she would be happy to accommodate whatever your needs are. I definitely recommend Kiki Creates!

We got married on the Beach in Jacksonville, November 4th and we used Kiki Creates as our photographer. She did an amazing job to say the least! Kara was fantastic!! She was so easy to work with and made my bridesmaids and I feel very comfortable while we were getting ready and also while taking our pictures. All of our wedding guest have commented on how friendly and professional Kara was. She was very organized and was always exactly where she needed to be to get all the shots! The photos we have received so far have far exceeded our expectations, they are beautiful! I would highly recommend Kara to anyone looking for an amazing photographer, and gave her all 5 stars because she worked hard for them. She is the best of the best, thanks so much for making our wedding day perfect!!

I would highly recommend Kiki Creates! She worked very hard to make sure we had a great experience…even my fiance, who was not really into the whole engagement photo concept, enjoyed himself which is saying a lot. She is very easy to communicate ideas to and always quick to reply which was really important and helpful. Kiki is able to give great direction during photo shoots and will lead you (if you have trouble like us). She was always on the lookout for the perfect shot. Needless to say, we had many photos to choose from! Also, the prices are very reasonable and you can order all prints from a website making it easy to show to family and friends. Without hesitation, I would choose Kiki again for any photography needs.

When I was first was planning my wedding choosing my wedding photographer was a valuable element I took into consideration. After booking with Kiki Creates I realized I had made an great investment. To begin she was there for me the moment I started getting ready until the point I threw my bouquet. My husband and I enjoyed her creativity and dedication throughout the ceremony and the banquet. I treasure the pictures she captured on the beach at sunset. She suggested a few unconviental poses but nevertheless she knew best. Not only was I completely satisfied my friends and family loved her photo booth. Props from wigs to mustaches she really created an unforgettable moment.

Amazing experience
Kiki was absolutely awesome to work with. She was a joy during the planning process, and had so much knowledge about Created Butte (in addition to giving great suggestions about other vendors and the overall vision). On the day of the wedding, she was just the low key / low stress vibe we needed (even as it threatened to rain), and did such a good job providing us with structure / advice that was balanced with flexibility to our own ideas / requests. And the photos came out BEAUTIFULLY!!! She captured everything with an incredible eye, both for the scenery and the moments themselves, and we loved the aesthetic of her approach. All in all couldn’t recommend more.

Kiki accommodated well to a family vacation and a surprise proposal in the mix.
Was extremely patient and made us feel comfortable in front of the lens.

Insanely talented photographer with an incredible soul to match.
What Kiki does is so much more than just taking gorgeous photographs of a wedding. She has such a unique and stunning style and eye for what makes a photo truly special. I fell in love with her photos immediately and knew that if I knew nothing else, she would HAVE to be our photographer. She was so easy to communicate with and made every time we met such a fun, chill time. She makes you feel so comfortable and captures the most intimate and truest moments possible. We also used her photo booth for our wedding and it was a huge hit. The style of the photo booth was so unique and really added to our boho, rustic vibes. I am beyond ecstatic about all of our engagement photos (included in our package) and wedding photos we have received so far!! I highly recommend Kiki Creates for any and all of you photographic needs!! PS: she also is doing wedding videos now!! I didn’t book this but I’ve seen some footage of another wedding and, as expected, was blown away with her artistry. BOOK HER!! :-)

KiKi was great! She came and shot my wedding in Florida a day after hurricane Matthew hit. The whole wedding plan changed in a matter of a day and she was so flexible and easygoing about all the different changes and chaos of the day.

Kiki was a rockstar! She did our pictures for both engagement and the wedding and they are so pretty and unique. I loved that she has a signature style that is truly artistic. There's a lot of great wedding photographers out there, but all the great ones look the same. Then there's Kiki! Her skills are fierce! And unique. The fact that she was easy and superfun to work with too, was a total bonus. She even stepped in when my Day of Coordinator wasn't on point. Thanks Kiki! We'd definitely hire again for another formal event.

Kiki was great to work with. Super laid back, you didn't notice her being there during the important moments during the ceremony and reception, but they were captured.
There was an unfortunate event that I believe only happened to my husband and I and maybe one other couple, from my understanding. An image card was lost sometime in the process. The card contained the images of the bridal party getting ready and several images of the full wedding party pre-ceremony (the assistant captured the full bridal party images, however they were taken from the side as we were looking at the camera with the card that was lost, so the quality of the photos are lacking. Still thankful we have what we do though). The saddest part for me was that I was only left with one casual photo with my mother from the entire wedding day as the photos of her buttoning my dress, putting on my jewelry, etc were on the missing card. Kiki gave me a very nice wedding album, a disc of all photos and standard prints you could have developed at a store as compensation. We do love the album, it is gorgeous, just missing some very important images.
Overall I feel like she was a good photographer for the event, just an unfortunate situation that is non-recoverable.
