Brittany is Brilliant

Kathy selected Brittany to support us managing the wedding. I wasn’t sure we needed a planner or manager, but I needed help with finding a venue. I figured the rest would be easy. We contracted Brittany and within a couple of weeks found a venue, which we pretty much did on our own. I approached Kathy to cancel contract, but she and others encouraged me to keep their services. I am so glad we did. There were so many details, and so many decisions, and Brittany always stood back at first, found out if we needed help, provided options, and then helped us select option if we couldn’t, on all the vendors, and then tiny decisions about center pieces for the tables. The day of, and management of vendors in execution. No way could do without her. Behind the scenes, my wife and I were asking Brittany to help with surprises for each of us, which of course we didn’t know the other was planning, and asked Brittany to do and keep quiet, and she was sending out update details to both of us, while sending updates on the surprises.

That’s my side as groom.

Her side as bride, she had a problem with the dress. She had it made in her home country, picked it up and it was wrong. She tried to brave it out, and finally let me know it was a disaster a week before the wedding. At first she didn’t want to deal with it, and just accept things as they were. Which seems Zen, but it wasn’t it:) I convinced her to let Brittany know to see if she had ideas, and she did, and we got her an insane dress.

Would use Kathy for planning my life, if I could :)

Kathy was so helpful and attentive throughout the the wedding-planning process, and made my wedding weekend flow so easily. I didn't have a worry in the world on my wedding day, which means so much to me. She's very knowledgeable about the industry and was always quick to offer suggestions or advice where I needed it. Kathy recently helped us plan our December, 2017 wedding. We were very impressed by her attention to detail, vendor knowledge/recommendations, and timely responses to all inquiries. The quality of her work exceeded all expectations. Leading to the day of the wedding, we found her detailed agenda and ability to ensure all (families, bridal parties, and vendors) were on the same page crucial to the success of the wedding. Kathy could not have been more on point the day of; this included ensuring everything took place according to schedule and made sure all protocols were followed. She was swift to answer all questions, accommodate all request, and address any concerns throughout the entire process. Wedding planning can be a long and elaborate process, and there’s no way it could have gone as smoothly, stress-free and enjoyable as it did without her involvement. All in all, outstanding work, the list of highlights is long and we highly recommend to others!

Attention to every detail is what Kathy provides. From planning to day of Kathy gave a spectacular, worry free wedding for our daughter. She knows her business and sincerely takes on the task at hand. We are so thankful that we hired her.

Kathy was absolutely FANTASTIC! She was extremely organized leading up to the wedding and it made the whole process a LOT less stressful for my mom and me. At the rehearsal and on the wedding day she was took care of EVERYTHING and made the entire wedding party and all of our family feel at ease. I HIGHLY recommend her!

Kathy was an amazing wedding planner to work with. We live out of state and she made communication super easy and was always available to talk to us. All of my guests loved her and were impressed with how well our rehearsal, ceremony and reception were organized. I highly recommend her and her team when you plan your wedding.

KG Weddings was outstanding from start to finish. Our wedding was run like clockwork and was beautifully handled. As father of the bride, I was able to relax and totally enjoy the evening while Brandi handled all of the event with grace and poise. We had a wonderful time and were thrilled with KG Weddings.

Brandi Crone from KG Weddings was an absolute pleasure to work with. We orignially had a different planner who had to cancel our contract due to her own personal issues and we were very worried that we would not be able to find someone else.

Finding Brandi was a true blessing and she made sure that everything went the way that it was supposed to go; before and on the day of. She paid so much attention to detail and to us and she really made us feel like she was on our team. She worked really well with some of the crazy and large personalities that were at our wedding and she truly put us both at ease. You will not go wrong if you chose this company and ask for Brandi!

K & G's Brandi Crone was very professional in all aspects of my daughter's wedding. Everything she handled was done as if she was a part of the family. I took her advice at ever step in the planning and the day of the wedding. She was right every time!
I highly recommend Brandi Crone and I will use her again in future.

Brandi Crone of KG Weddings was worth her weight in gold! We hired her to coordinate the rehearsal, the ceremony, and the reception for our wedding. We worked for more than a year planning the big day and researching and booking the vendors. We found Brandi at the Boutique Bridal Show of Galveston Island, put on by KG Weddings and Island Flowers. It did not take her long to convince us that we most definitely needed to hire her to coordinate the wedding. And indeed, that was the right decision. We didn't need her services to recommend very many vendors because most of those that we hired came from the vendors they carefully chose to be a part of their very small bridal show. We knew when we left there, we wanted to hire at least half a dozen of the vendors we met. But when we asked Brandi about other vendors, she recommended those who were a perfect fit for us and our wedding. A few weeks before the big day, we had our first consultation. She had already begun coordinating and we left there much more relaxed than when we arrived. We now had someone who was taking over some of the duties we had been working on. We could tell we were in great hands. As the wedding day came closer, she took over all the duties of making this wedding a resounding success. All she needed from us was details and some last minute decisions. At the rehearsal and the wedding, there were no problems that popped up that flustered her. She remained calm and steady throughout while quietly resolving any issue that presented itself. It helped that she was so personable and fun to work with. She easily formed a bond with us that helped relieve any tensions we may have felt. The bridesmaids enjoyed her so much, they even hijacked her to pose with them in the photo booth! Because of Brandi, all we needed to focus on was ourselves, enjoying the day, and having fun. We just went where she told us when she told us and just followed her instructions. What a blessing to just focus on the day.

Kathy and Brandi were extremely professional and handled their portion of the event well. We didn't have to worry about anything while they were onsite. Any problems or issues pertaining to the wedding were handled discreetly and in short-order.

Brandi was an absolute dream come true! There were actually problems that I was not even aware of until days later that she just "handled"! She never once was frazzled and went above and beyond our expectation!

If you want your dreams to come true she definitely is the one.

KG Weddings is simply the best. I had the pleasure of working with Kathy during my entire engagement. She helped me every step of the way and help me make decisions throughout the entire planning process. Kathy knows weddings and helped me arrange appointments with different vendors. She attended all meetings and was a key player in making sure our wedding day ran smoothly. The rehearsal went as planned thanks to her attention to detail. Kathy had itineraries for all members of the wedding party ready to go at the rehearsal. She checked in with me throughout the week prior to my wedding day asking how she could help me. I was able to relax and take in the whole day because I knew I was in good hands with KG Weddings.

from our very first meeting until the end of the wedding and even days after, Kathy was there for every email, text, phone call, meeting with Four Seasons, Church, Darryl & Co. that we had and took care of everything we needed. Very attentive and professional, yet down to earth and solved any problem we "thought" we had.

I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner since I wanted such a small no fuss wedding. I was really busy with work and definitely wanted someone to help me out the day OF the wedding. I had heard great things about KG Weddings so I set up an appointment to meet with Brandi. Initially the costs were just too much since we didn't have a huge wedding. Brandi found a way to work with my budget and tailor my package specifically to me which was amazing. The day of the wedding is when I realized I would NOT have been able to pull this off without her. SOO many little things were going wrong here and there then the big things started to happen. Brandi kept me from #1 having to deal with any of them and #2 from finding out about 90% of them. She is a delight to be around and made my wedding day absolutely flawless. My family was able to enjoy the day without the stress. HIGHLY recommend this vendor.

We were so lucky to have Kathy Glass as our wedding coordinator! She came highly recommended to us and did not disappoint! Kathy is very personable and fun to work with. I was very impressed with her communication with me the week leading up to the wedding. I felt at ease knowing that she had everything under control and every detail accounted for. Kathy even helped my groom secure a getaway car-just days before the wedding!

The KG staff (Kathy, Brandi, Brianna) was very professional and helpful to our family and wedding party. There are so many small details that come together on the wedding day, and they made sure that everything ran smoothly. We were able to enjoy our day knowing that they had everything taken care of.

My one piece of advice to all brides would be to hire KG Weddings! You will be so glad you did!

Kathy's input and recommendations for vendors and at vendor meetings was invaluable. Her suggestions for each detail of our big day (ceremony, catering, lighting, rentals, florals, audio/sound, sequencing, logistics, etc.) were thoughtful and spot on. She went above and beyond planning our event and then she and her team out did themselves on our wedding day! She is great as what she does, she's amazing, and I highly recommend her wedding planning services!

Hiring KG Weddings & Events was the best choice I made. It hit me the day after the wedding that I did not worry? I realized that I had enjoyed the wedding without thinking about pictures, dress malfunctions, food service, decor, band, flowers or anything. It was a pleasure to actually enjoy the wedding and have someone else do all the worrying. All of the professionals associated with KG were amazing. They were also fun to work with. My daughter voiced it very well when she said, "it was everything I ever dreamed about". What more could a Mother want for her daughter's special day?!

Kathy was amazing! She was available whenever I needed her to reassure me the wedding was going to be beautiful! The wedding truly was everything I had dreamed about and I couldn't have done it without her. She made it so easy for my mom and I to concentrate on ourselves and not on making sure the event went as scheduled. I'd recommend her, my florist (Island Flowers), my photographer (Barron and Barron Photography), and my venue (Hotel Galvez) to anyone having a wedding in Galveston or the Houston area.

I realize all the big (& little) expenses that go into planning a wedding add up quick!!! However, it's worth leaving out something or spending the extra money to at least have a wedding planner the weekend of your wedding... I promise! KG Wedding's was amazing to work with, very professional, friendly & thorough to all my questions/concerns. Brandi covered all the tiny details I would have never thought of. The weekend of our wedding she was on her game & I was never the wiser of any hick ups that may have come up. She was there in the background making sure our day ran smoothly & perfectly as we celebrated and enjoyed the moment! KG Wedding was worth ever penny & Brandi was a rock star!! Thanks KG & Brandi!

I can't imagine not having Kathy there on my wedding day! From the day we first spoke to the end of the reception, Kathy was nothing but professional, poised, organized, and extremely supportive of anything we needed. She helped to keep all family members, wedding party members and even me (the bride) on time and organized so we didn't have to really worry about a thing once the big day rolled around. Everything from contacting vendors to coordinating family member agendas to helping bustle my gown, Kathy was on the ball and prepared. I would recommend KG weddings to anyone who is looking for entire planning services or as we did, just for the weekend of the wedding. It's well worth the cost to have a professional like Kathy and her team there to tie up all loose ends and keep you calm on your wedding day!

Kathy did an amazing job! She was very responsive the whole weekend including weeks up to the event. I had some crazy family members i warned her about and she was very professional and let me know that i had nothing to worry about, that she could handle anything....and she did! Everything was perfect and went very smoothly! I would recommend her to anyone, for any event. She really knows her stuff!

My wedding would not have gone as smoothly if Kathy Glass wouldn't have been my wedding coordinator! My parents, my groom and I were relaxed the entire day because we knew KG Weddings had it under control. At the end of the day, I could not have been more satisfied how the night went. It was perfect! You won't regret hiring Kathy Glass!!

Kathy was absolutely amazing to work with. We used her as a day-of wedding planner. Kathy had everything planned down to the last minute. The wedding went of with zero hitches. All we had to do was be there looking pretty.There was literally nothing for us to worry about. We simple needed to star in our wedding production that Kathy had put together for us. It was exactly what we had wanted. She listened to us and made the event truly ours.

I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone getting married. Even though we only used her as our "day-of" planner, Kathy was very knowledgeable on vendors and venues in the area. We also received discounts on many vendors by working with Kathy. Kathy also hosts a bridal show in Galveston. She took the time out of her busy day at the event to meet with us and discuss vendors with us personally.

Working with Kathy was an absolute pleasure. She was always upbeat and ready to help us in anyway. The wedding was perfect and we can't thank Kathy enough for it.

Kathy and KG Weddings were invaluable to us as we planned our daughter's wedding from afar! Our daughter married in Houston and we live in California. Kathy was a wonderful resource for us in the planning phase; all of our other vendors came from her suggestion and we were pleased with every single one. In the final weeks and days KG weddings was invaluable: she made final negotiations with vendors, made sure that everyone involved with the wedding had detailed information about where to be and when, handled dispersing vendor tips and payments on the day of the wedding, and made sure everything was beautiful and flawless.

You always hear that something will go wrong with the wedding, but with Kathy I was confident that if something were to happen it was going to be something entirely out of anyone's control and probably not a big deal at all. Sure enough, the trolley we had booked for transportation broke down on the way to pick us up for the wedding. Kathy was able to get us another bus in time and broke the news to my fiancé and me so sweetly. The replacement bus even came in time to be decked out in the decorations that my SIL had made for the trolley. Even though I had been really excited about the trolley, it was entirely a nonissue.

If you, like I was, are on the fence about whether you want a wedding coordinator, I encourage you to just do it. The weeks and days before the wedding were entirely stress free for all of us because of Kathy. She is worth every penny and then some.

We hired Kathy Glass with KG Weddings to coordinate our wedding in Galveston, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had over 250 people traveling from all over the United States to be at our wedding, and it was important to us that we be able to enjoy our time with them, and not stress about last minute details. KG Weddings allowed us to enjoy every minute of our wedding weekend. We had such a wonderful time at our wedding! I always have heard that it is just a blur, and that you are too busy/stressed to enjoy your wedding day, but that was not the case for us. We chose the Wedding Weekend package. Kathy took care of all of the details, making sure that everything went smoothly from the ceremony, to the reception, to getting our gifts upstairs to our room along with some late night cake, champagne and snacks. She made sure we had a chance to eat, had a drink in hand, were able to circulate and visit with our guests, and also able to spend time on the dance floor with family and friends. She also made sure that things flowed well so that our guests had a good time, and we have heard so many times since the wedding that it was "the best wedding they have ever been to". Kathy was easy to work with throughout the planning process, making helpful suggestions along the way. I highly recommend hiring KG Weddings to coordinate your wedding.

I loved working with Kathy. Getting her full-service package is well worth the expense. I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day-- I was able to relax and enjoy spending time with my friends and family. You hear all these nightmare stories about brides being so stressed out on the day of the wedding that they don't even get to enjoy it... but I had the opposite experience, thanks to KG Weddings.
The only place I see room for improvement is that my family, bridesmaids, and I got so much attention that I think the groom's side felt a little neglected and adrift.

Kathy and her staff were excellent. The wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception was detailed down to the last minute( Every participant had a detailed time list of what they were suppose to do and where they were suppose to be at. Everything was taken care of professionally and with enthusiasm and my wife and I didn't have to worry about one thing. Kathy was excellent to work with and she was always there trying to answer any questions you might have and was willing to "alter" anything you might want to have done. I will use her again when my next daughter gets married and I highly recommend her for your wedding. Hiring Kathy was the BEST decision we made in helping plan our daughter's wedding. Collaborating with Kathy Glass was without a doubt the best choice I made when preparing for my wedding. Kathy is super sweet, calm, extremely prompt and professional, and she really does make you feel like your wedding is her top priority. She is extremely experienced, she had actually done multiple weddings with all my other vendors (who all also had great things to say about her) which, I feel, made things run even smoother. Kathy really cares about all her clients. I never felt dumb asking a single question or asking if something I envisioned was possible. Kathy is so creating and has such a wide base of contacts, if she didn’t have an answer right away, she reached out to someone who did. During the wedding itself, Kathy kept everyone on schedule, myself, the groom, all the wedding party, and family in the wedding ceremony (she even remembered all their names!). working with Brandi was wonderful! She truly helped pull everything together and I couldn't be happier. I could not imagine getting through the day without her help. I would definitely recommend using KG Weddings

Kathy provided the wedding day coordination for me and my wife, and her services were excellent. She was always very responsive to our requests and extremely organized throughout the entire process. She made sure that the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception all went without any significant problems. Kathy coordinated arrival times for all vendors, she put out all of our personal decor, distributed tip money, arranged all of the bridal party before the ceremony, put together and executed the reception itinerary, and managed the logistics of all of the clean-up. She even was thoughtful enough to leave my wife and me some cake in our wedding suite. I can't even think of an honest criticism to make, no hyperbole. The value of her services was unquestionable, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the event as much as I did without her.

Kathy was great! She was very responsive to our requests and helped us plan a beautiful wedding day that was everything we had imagined it would be! Kathy created a wedding day timeline for our wedding party and vendors and kept us on schedule the entire night. It allowed us to enjoy our wedding without worry. I don't know how we would have done it without her assistance!

Kathy was great the week and day of the wedding! As far as I know, everything went totally smoothly and according to plan. She had great recommendations and contacts at different price points.

The only thing I would say is there should have been better coordination with the wedding planner at Haak.
I was not at all happy with the food situation. I complained about the lateness of food being served and the
quality of the food. It was not what should have happened for what we paid for the Haak location.
Sarah tried to say you gave her a timeline and it was the timeline she followed. Yet, all the services they
did that day were late.. The linen company was 1 1/2 hours late. I was there at 9:30, and they did not get
there until after 11 am. The food should have been ready by 4:00 pm at the latest.

I worked briefly with Kathy, my father passed away and we cancelled the wedding. My source of discontent does not come from what Kathy did but from what she failed to do. She did not reach out after I emailed her. To worsen matters, even when I let her that of all the vendor-deposits we lost, I was most bitter about hers because she failed to reach out. She then made excuses and she did not apologize.

Had my other vendors not been so amazing and empathetic about our situation I would not have been so bitter about my interactions with Kathy. Hotel Galvez gave me a complete refund, my photographer called regularly to speak with meto see if my plans had changed... which they inevitably did.

I would not recommend her, my situation was unforseen but I am truly bitter about losing the deposit with her. Not because I lost a deposit but because I felt she was cold, did not care and still did not apologize when I brought it up to her.

My experience with KG weddings was miserable. Let me first start by saying that if I could do my wedding over again, I would’ve never hired KG.
My first meeting with the coordinator went well! She was enthused & made a great first impression; however, she was not as “on top” of things as she presented. She sent my wedding day agenda 2.5wks late.
On wedding day, the bridesmaids & I arrived early. The coordinator repetitively came in the suite to tell me of things gone wrong just to tell me she fixed them. At one point, she came & sat for several mins with us just to complain about her knee & the heat outside. It was a very uncomfortable situation for all of us & a rough start to the day.
After the ceremony, the night got progressively worse. The coordinator did not keep the timeline AT ALL. We were an hour behind schedule the whole night. I had to push to stay on track. She completely forgot about the garter and bouquet toss and I had to remind her but because everything was thrown off, my photographer was changing his battery & missed it. When the photographer told her that was unacceptable, she got an attitude with him and that was not the only person she was ugly with that night. She was quite rude toward my band, the venue coordinator & my sister-in-law! The Bridesmaids & my family were very disappointed in her performance all night. By the time the send-off came, she stated that she was “out of here”. My aunt had to ask her not to leave. These are just a FEW examples.
After a week, I called Kathy Glass herself & gave her a detailed walk-though of the night in its entirety. She even spoke w/ vendors about their poor experiences; however, she was unreceptive. She did not give me empathy nor respect. I was very taken at her lack of concern and attitude toward mine and the experiences of my vendors. I have tried to get in touch with her since our last conversation & no response. I expected much better & I hope this never happens to another bride.

Avoid at all cost!!

Horrible service. We made a deposit a year before the wedding. When the time came to meet, Kathy was non responsive and provided multiple excuses as to why she couldn't meet with us in a timely manner 60 days before the wedding. I would give her zero stars as we were forced to hire another coordinator because we needed help and she was no where to be found, and then insisted we make full payment. This is not an honest way to do business. Be warned.
