We hired Kezia to officiate our wedding and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made! We felt so out of our league and overwhelmed while trying to book vendors, but speaking with Kezia about the process of getting married eased our minds. Kezia was kind, communicative, and provided amazing resources not only to plan our ceremony, but also to ease into married life. Her attention to detail while writing our ceremony was exceptional and left us and our guests inspired. We are so grateful for Kezia's ceremony services and we could not be more satisfied. Kezia was absolutely phenomenal to work with for our 9/21/24 wedding. From the moment we met her, she made the whole process easy for us. We had an initial Zoom meeting, followed by a questionnaire and a packet of info, followed by a few wave of edits on our script. She also explained the whole process to us and reminded us when to get our wedding license. We wanted to do a "secret" section for our ceremony, so Kezia had us fill out separate questionnaires that she hid from each of us, and we got to hear the most beautiful words about each other at the ceremony. We also wanted to incorporate a few Jewish elements, and she explained the meaning behind everything that made the ceremony that much more impactful. In general, she executed everything flawlessly and so many people came up to afterwards to tell us how special the ceremony was. Hire her!! Thank you, Kezia!Kezia Bacon Weddings's reply:

Kezia is one of a kind, the best kind! She took my now husband and I’s, story and put it into words for our family and friends to hear. She truly captured the love we share and shared it with our guests. What I loved most about Kezia, is her approach to planning and preparing for the big day. She provided us with all the right resources and answered all of our questions. Fantastic!!
Kezia was absolutely wonderful to work with! She spent so much time with us learning our story, constructing a ceremony script, and then tweaking it until we felt it was perfect. We had so much control over what was said and the different elements of the ceremony. Kezia also was great about guiding us through the different steps to get our marriage license, and followed up promptly after the wedding to keep us in the loop with the paperwork side of things to make sure we got our certificate in a timely manner. She even sent over some info on how to best go about changing our names! Kezia is truly a great choice for any couple looking to have their ceremony feel personalized, warm, fun, and effortless. We were looking for someone to help us craft a humanistic wedding ceremony, and we hit the jackpot with Kezia. From start to finish Kezia was such a pleasure to work with and exactly what we were looking for in a celebrant and officiant. She is extremely professional, organized, and calm, but also a very warm person. We hit it off with her from the beginning, and were re-assured every step of the way that we made the right decision - she honestly took a lot of the pressure off since we knew she was on top of timelines for getting the ceremony in order. She created such a unique and specialized ceremony for us - better than imagined. She sends out a questionnaire ahead of time to get to know the couple and their story, and to help draft the final ceremony script. Filling out the questionnaire served as a really special exercise for my husband and I since it allowed us to reflect on our relationship, ourselves as individuals, and what we both want for our shared future. Honestly, it was some of the best unintentional self guided pre-marriage counseling we could have gotten! All of Kezia’s guidance along the way, and her story telling technique, and the exhaustive collection of wedding readings to choose from, resulted in the most beautiful ceremony, highlighting who my husband and I are as a couple. Overwhelmingly, our guests remarked that it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended, and loved how we incorporated science, humanism, and humor into the telling of our love story. Kezia’s very calm demeanor helped us stay in the moment as we were preparing for the big day but especially during the ceremony itself. She also did a fabulous job with the rehearsal so the whole wedding party knew where to be when and what was going to happen. One thing that we’ll always remember is during the rehearsal, instead of reading through the script (and instead of saying something like “blah, blah, blah” as a placeholder), she instead said “love, love, love, love & science, science, science & more love”. We thought it was cute at the time, but then it took on a life of its own. Right before the ceremony, as a few of us started to get a little anxious, one of the bridesmaids yelled out “love, love, love, love”, which we all repeated in unison as our mantra. It calmed the nerves, and kept the happy tears at bay. Thank you so much Kezia for making our wedding ceremony so special! Throughout the entire process, Kezia's professionalism, compassion, and eloquence shone through, making her a wonderful celebrant. Her dedication to making our ceremony perfect was evident in every interaction. We highly recommend Kezia to anyone in search of a wedding officiant who will truly make their special day a highlight to remember.
Kezia is exceptionally organized. We had our vows and ceremony written well in advance of the wedding, which allowed us to have a restful night's sleep before the big day.
She is an active listener and collaborator, capturing every detail that was important to us in the ceremony. Kezia managed to keep the atmosphere light-hearted and enjoyable while still delivering a meaningful and personal ceremony.
Her expertise in structuring the format and content of the ceremony made it inclusive for all guests.
To top it off, she followed up for weeks after the wedding to make sure we received our marriage certificate.
Guests complimented us on how modern and touching our ceremony was. Thank you so much for all the care you put into us. We're so grateful! -

The best Celebrant out there!
Kezia Bacon is by far the best of the best. Kezia made us feel so comfortable from the beginning. She has seriously fine-tuned the ceremony process. My husband and I really didn't know what to expect when it came to planning the ceremony - but we did know we wanted it to have a personal touch. Kezia did just that - taking stories that went back to the beginning of our relationship and weaving them in along the way in a meaningful and sometimes funny way. She went above and beyond by even wearing a shawl that matched our color scheme. We have received infinite compliments from guests about how intimate and personal she made the ceremony. Great personalized ceremony
Kezia was amazing from the second we reached out to acquire about her doing our wedding ceremony. She is very knowledgeable and helps you every step of the way. Our ceremony was perfect our guests raved about how personalized it was and how it told our story. I loved that we got to make it our own and special to us by picking what we wanted included.
