Phenomenal Experience!

100/10 would recommend Kezia to be such an integral part of your special day. When asked what we looked forward to most about our wedding day we constantly replied the ceremony. Kezia did a phenomenal job creating a custom ceremony that told our love story. Our ceremony came out to be so personal and enjoyable. It was full of small details and stories from our relationship over the years and did a great job of including humor as well as heartfelt sentiments. Guests continue to compliment us on our unique ceremony. Our family loved her so much that my sister and brother in law are also booking Kezia for their wedding! She does such a great job keeping you on task and even celebrating milestones leading up to the wedding (celebrating one year leading up to the wedding, for example), all while being so supportive and friendly. Every step along the way Kezia provided us with the materials to go through, a deadline to have a draft by, and reminders of tasks that needed to be completed. This involved the ceremony creation, the preparation of the wedding such as when, how, and where to get a marriage license, and it continued even after the wedding where she gave clear guidance on how to get copies of our marriage certificate. She made the process completely painless and absolutely beautiful! We can’t wait to see the next beautiful ceremony she creates for our family members!

The most beautiful ceremony!

We are so happy we chose Kezia to officiate our wedding! Kezia was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is thorough, extremely organized, and made the process of creating our ceremony as seamless as it possibly could be. The script she created for our ceremony was beautiful on its own, but her delivery is what truly made the ceremony so special. We had so many guests tell us that this was the best wedding ceremony they have ever attended. Kezia was everything we were looking for in an officiant

We are so grateful to have had Kezia as our wedding officiant! From the very beginning, they were incredibly communicative and supportive, guiding us through every step of the marriage process. She helped us craft a beautiful ceremony and even assisted with writing our vows, making sure the words truly reflected who we are as a couple.

Her organization and attention to detail made such a difference – from walking us through the structure of the ceremony to running a smooth rehearsal, and then delivering the most heartfelt, seamless ceremony on our wedding day. A dream come true wedding ceremony

We are so grateful that we chose Kezia to officiate at our wedding. The whole process of collaborating with her was seamless, joyful, and so special. To get to know her clients better, Kezia sends out questionnaires followed by rounds of edits to craft a script that feels personal and special - my husband Raphael and I thoroughly enjoyed reflecting on our journey and love together throughout this process. We wanted to include elements from both of our cultures as well as some elements of spirituality, and what resulted was a beautiful ceremony that felt international, welcoming, meaningful, magical, and heartwarming. Our guests were so touched by how personal and beautiful our ceremony felt, and we couldn’t agree more. Amazing experience with Kezia for our ceremony

Kezia was absolutely phenomenal to work with for our 9/21/24 wedding. From the moment we met her, she made the whole process easy for us. We had an initial Zoom meeting, followed by a questionnaire and a packet of info, followed by a few wave of edits on our script. She also explained the whole process to us and reminded us when to get our wedding license. We wanted to do a "secret" section for our ceremony, so Kezia had us fill out separate questionnaires that she hid from each of us, and we got to hear the most beautiful words about each other at the ceremony. We also wanted to incorporate a few Jewish elements, and she explained the meaning behind everything that made the ceremony that much more impactful. In general, she executed everything flawlessly and so many people came up to afterwards to tell us how special the ceremony was. Hire her!! Thank you, Kezia!

Fantastic Wedding Celebrant!

From the beginning, our experience working with Kezia was collaborative and enjoyable. She was professional and dependable throughout and worked closely with us to understand the goals we had for our ceremony and how to share the story of our relationship with our wedding guests in a meaningful way. She set very clear deadlines for us, which we appreciated during such a busy time. She offered a full rehearsal of our ceremony the day before our wedding, which was incredibly helpful to make sure our wedding party was well prepared. We absolutely loved our ceremony and got so many compliments from our guests on the narrative style and personal feel. We can't recommend Kezia enough!

Kezia made our ceremony magical!

My husband and I were a little late to start the search for an officiant, but Kezia made every single step of the way so easy! Her professionalism and warm humor really stood out from our first conversation, and that held true through the ceremony and beyond. Despite the tight timeline, Kezia brought our love story to life and worked closely with us to create a beautiful, personal ceremony that had everyone dabbing their eyes. We were able to incorporate all of the Filipino traditions that I wanted, and Kezia had excellent questions and suggestions on even the tiniest details so we knew we were in good hands. I would recommend Kezia a million times over - I cannot imagine having such a magical, true to "us" day without her as our officiant!

Fantastic!!

Kezia was absolutely wonderful to work with! She spent so much time with us learning our story, constructing a ceremony script, and then tweaking it until we felt it was perfect. We had so much control over what was said and the different elements of the ceremony. Kezia also was great about guiding us through the different steps to get our marriage license, and followed up promptly after the wedding to keep us in the loop with the paperwork side of things to make sure we got our certificate in a timely manner. She even sent over some info on how to best go about changing our names! Kezia is truly a great choice for any couple looking to have their ceremony feel personalized, warm, fun, and effortless. She made the most important part of our day feel truly sacred, and like it was a perfect reflection of us as a couple. Thank you Kezia!!

Where do I begin? Kezia was hands down the easiest wedding vendor we worked with. From the initial chat we had with her, we knew things would be smooth sailing - and they were all of that and more!
Kezia has many, many years of experience and it shows. We were provided with so many resources, customizations, and revisions to our wedding ceremony to truly make it our own and to capture our love story in the most genuine way. Not only does Kezia support her couples leading up to their wedding day, she also provides many tips and tricks after their big day to help with any name change processes, initiates the return of any materials used, and surprises her couples with a token of appreciation. Best wedding ceremony we could have imagined!!

We were looking for someone to help us craft a humanistic wedding ceremony, and we hit the jackpot with Kezia. From start to finish Kezia was such a pleasure to work with and exactly what we were looking for in a celebrant and officiant. She is extremely professional, organized, and calm, but also a very warm person. We hit it off with her from the beginning, and were re-assured every step of the way that we made the right decision - she honestly took a lot of the pressure off since we knew she was on top of timelines for getting the ceremony in order. She created such a unique and specialized ceremony for us - better than imagined. She sends out a questionnaire ahead of time to get to know the couple and their story, and to help draft the final ceremony script. Filling out the questionnaire served as a really special exercise for my husband and I since it allowed us to reflect on our relationship, ourselves as individuals, and what we both want for our shared future. Honestly, it was some of the best unintentional self guided pre-marriage counseling we could have gotten! All of Kezia’s guidance along the way, and her story telling technique, and the exhaustive collection of wedding readings to choose from, resulted in the most beautiful ceremony, highlighting who my husband and I are as a couple. Overwhelmingly, our guests remarked that it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended, and loved how we incorporated science, humanism, and humor into the telling of our love story. Kezia’s very calm demeanor helped us stay in the moment as we were preparing for the big day but especially during the ceremony itself. She also did a fabulous job with the rehearsal so the whole wedding party knew where to be when and what was going to happen. One thing that we’ll always remember is during the rehearsal, instead of reading through the script (and instead of saying something like “blah, blah, blah” as a placeholder), she instead said “love, love, love, love & science, science, science & more love”. We thought it was cute at the time, but then it took on a life of its own. Right before the ceremony, as a few of us started to get a little anxious, one of the bridesmaids yelled out “love, love, love, love”, which we all repeated in unison as our mantra. It calmed the nerves, and kept the happy tears at bay. Thank you so much Kezia for making our wedding ceremony so special! Highly recommend choosing to work with Kezia, it will be the best wedding planning decision you make!

Incredible Officiant - Best Decision!!

I do not have enough good things to say about Kezia. She is an incredible officiant and captured the joy and love we have in such an elegant and organic way.

I was so impressed with the preparation Kezia does ahead of the ceremony - she really takes her time to get to know the bride and groom, their story and their goals of the ceremony. She then artfully ties it all together into a ceremony 'script' that she reviews with you both. This was so helpful as it really gave us a good sense for what the ceremony would be like. We had friends and family raving about the ceremony for weeks.

If you are looking for an easy-to-work-with, organized, thoughtful and kind officiant, I highly recommend Kezia. You will be in great hands!

A personal, professional, and beautiful ceremony

Kezia was such a wonderful part of our wedding day! She carefully walked us through every step of the wedding preparation process, from selecting readings to writing vows. Kezia was able to carefully craft and present our love story in a way that was engaging, beautiful, and personal - so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the ceremony. The best Celebrant out there!

Kezia Bacon is by far the best of the best. Kezia made us feel so comfortable from the beginning. She has seriously fine-tuned the ceremony process. My husband and I really didn't know what to expect when it came to planning the ceremony - but we did know we wanted it to have a personal touch. Kezia did just that - taking stories that went back to the beginning of our relationship and weaving them in along the way in a meaningful and sometimes funny way. She went above and beyond by even wearing a shawl that matched our color scheme. We have received infinite compliments from guests about how intimate and personal she made the ceremony. Kezia is the best officiant!

We first saw Kezia when she officiated our friends’ wedding. We instantly knew she was the right choice to officiate our big day. We were so thrilled when we connected with her and found that she was free for our wedding. From the start we were blown away by how prepared and thorough Kezia was in her efforts to provide us with an amazing ceremony experience. She really took the time to get to know us and learn who we are and how we work as a couple, so that she could put together a script that would appropriately highlight our journey to the big day. She was full of important and relevant insight that helped guide us throughout the process and always made us feel like we were the stars of the day. A personal, beautiful ceremony

When looking for an officiant, my husband and I were looking to create a ceremony that was unique to us, one that would tell our story, and highlight things important to us and our relationship. Kezia delivered exactly what we were looking for. She got to know us through a very detailed questionnaire, and helped us craft our secret vows, making sure they matched in tone and length. After the ceremony, we had some guests ask us who our officiant was, because it seemed like she had known us for years!

Not only did Kezia write a beautiful ceremony for us, she walked us through the whole process, and sent reminders at the appropriate times so we wouldn’t get overwhelmed with too much information at once. She provided a good ceremony template, so we knew where to start, but was open to customizing whatever we wanted. She was also very responsive and communicative through the rounds of edits. During the rehearsal and ceremony, we appreciated how she was so organized and printed our vows and cue cards. Afterwards, she even sent us keepsake copies of the ceremony and our vows — such a nice little touch.

Ever the professional, Kezia loves what she does, and she’s really good at it. Do not hesitate to have her be a part of your special day!

Personal and professional

Kezia helped us coordinate our wedding and put together our ceremony script. She was very personal and professional throughout the process even after having to wait an additional year to officiate our wedding thanks to COVID.

She was consistent in her communication, appropriately reaching out with timelines and tasks in a deliberate manner so that we wouldn’t get overwhelmed. From the very beginning we knew we made a wise choice. She had done this many times before. She even helped us with our vows!

At the rehearsal and ceremony she kept us on track in place, wedding parties included. She was so gracious and kind throughout the days. She’s the best and would highly recommend Kezia if you want a stress free and amazingly fulfilling experience. She is truly amazing! 10/10!

Kezia is an amazing Officiant!

We would highly recommend Kezia for any lifecycle celebration! Kezia officiated our intimate wedding and even though it was a very small wedding she customized the ceremony to ensure it was perfect for us. It was very personal and meaningful and represented us in every way. Kezia communicated with us throughout the whole preparation process in a kind and professional manner and was very open to include our wishes in every aspect of the ceremony. Kezia walked us through the very daunting process of wedding preparation right down to how to apply for the wedding license and how to write vows etc. We could not have done it without Kezia and were truly honored that she was with us on our very special day to marry us!

Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved our wedding ceremony. Kezia is wonderful

Kezia was exactly the person I was looking for when I was searching for wedding officiants. She is extremely responsive and accommodating. She walked me and my husband through the entire process of the ceremony and its elements. I don’t consider myself very articulate and when I was stuck on the wording for a piece of my vows, she was able to come up with well written words that explained exactly how I felt. Her calm and collected demeanor rubbed off on me which I very much needed! I’m so happy we found Kezia and am forever grateful to her for being such an important part of a very special day.

Kezia is very patient, thorough and kind. From the first Zoom meeting we had with her, we felt at ease during what can be a very overwhelming process! She guided us through everything and told our story perfectly. I can’t count the number of people who asked me how Matt and I knew Kezia, as she genuinely got to know us and our story to the point that people assumed she was a family friend. Very professional officiant who guided us to exactly what we were looking for. The Ceremony of our Dreams!

My husband and I were one of the many couples who had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. We debated several times whether we should call off the big day we planned. I'm so glad we stuck to our plan, because having our ceremony with all our friends and family was beyond special, and that was entirely Kezia's doing. Kezia came highly recommended by some close friends, and we could not have been more lucky that we were able to book her. She is very communicative and kept us accountable for deadlines and she made sure that our ceremony was truly a reflection os us. My husband's family has some difficult names, but Kezia rose to the challenge and learned all of them and spoke them flawlessly. Both during the planning process and on the day of, she was prepared for everything and knew exactly what we needed before we needed it. Our ceremony was magical and will forever be something we look back on with so much joy. We are both so thankful that Kezia was able to be part of our day!

Best of the best

Kezia is the best of the best! From the very start we felt that our wedding ceremony, arguably the most important part of any wedding, was in the most capable hands. Kezia stayed in contact with us frequently throughout our planning process. It is easy to get anxious with wedding vendors not responding or not responding in a timely manner, but Kezia always got back to us immediately. Our ceremony was beautiful, all of our guests loved how it was told as a story. Many guests, who did not know our entire story, said that after the ceremony, they felt like they had been there the whole time with us because Kezia told it so well. Some even asked how we knew her or if she was a family friend because of how beautifully it was done! She took away any and all stress from our ceremony and made it hands down the best part of our day.
She also sent us a beautiful keepsake copy of our script as well as our vows.
We are forever grateful to her.

Amazing Ceremony

I loved working with Kezia. She was so organized and thorough and as a type A person this was just what I wanted. She was super responsive to our emails and questions as well. I loved that she tailored our ceremony to what I was looking for. When she sent the first draft of our ceremony I wasn't sure what I actually wanted from the ceremony but after emailing back and forth with Kezia and with her support and tweaks we got it just right. The rehearsal went so smooth and even our wedding venue coordinator was impressed with how organized Kezia was. Due to the pandemic we communicated mostly through phone calls and emails but the day of the rehearsal when we met it felt so right to have Kezia marrying us. Even after the wedding she followed up with information on next steps and helpful information in how to change my last name. Kezia was amazing and you can tell she really cares about the couples that she works with to make it the best possible day for them.

Amazing officiant!

Kezia officiated our wedding on September 6th, 2021 and it was more than we could ever have asked for. Amazing experience, perfect ceremony

Such an important part of my wedding!

Kezia was such a wonderful part of our wedding. As the groom I admit that I did not have a huge role in planning the wedding, however, in the end it was Kezia whose presence had the most effect on me. I was super nervous before the ceremony and Kezia was really helpful in assuring me that it was all perfect and going to plan, and she kept me sane throughout the process. Her words and story telling was incredible. After the ceremony the first thing my groomsmen said was 'Kezia for president'. She was able to accomplish exactly what Eleanor and I wanted which was a wedding ceremony with as little patriarchal influence as possible. 10/10!

The Best Officiant!!

Kezia is absolutely amazing to work with!! My sister in law highly recommended her, because Kezia officiated her wedding when she got married. My husband and I wanted a meaningful and personal ceremony. My husband and I got married on 8/23/2020 and Kezia did an amazing job! Our ceremony was meaningful and personal to us. Kezia is professional ,extremely organized, very responsive to emails. We had many changes due to Covid but Kezia was so flexible and extremely supportive throughout the whole process. Kezia was a dream to work with! You work with her to put together the entire script exactly to your liking. She does a great job guiding you so you have a great framework and direction on how the ceremony should flow. She gives you complete freedom to customize it to your vision. She is very organized and keeps all other vendors in the loop. My photographer complimented her by saying he had never been given a cue card by any other celebrant/officiant. Everyone who attended our wedding thought she was a family member with how well she knew our story and made it feel so personal. I recommend her to any bride who wants a celebrant!

I recommend Kezia to any couple needing a wedding officiant. Like many couples in 2020, my daughter and her fiance cancelled their larger gathering due to COVID. Kezia is wonderful! My husband and I decided to get married in a small intimate backyard wedding a few weeks ago after our wedding was postponed not once, but twice due to the pandemic. Kezia was so easy to communicate with and flexible! She helped ease my stress during all of the unknowns. When we postponed our wedding the first time we had a conflict with the new date, Kezia responded quickly and reassured me she would find another officiant to be there for us. By the end of the day she had someone lined up and put us in direct contact with them. We ended up moving our "big wedding" to May 2021 and we are so happy we get to have Kezia officiate both our big and small ceremonies. She quickly adjusted our original ceremony script for our small backyard wedding and made sure all the small details were accounted for. Our families loved our ceremony and keep talking about how beautiful it was. We couldn't be more appreciative and can't wait to celebrate with her again next year.

Kezia is the best!

Kezia has been absolutely the best! She wrote us a beautiful and personalized ceremony for our May wedding. When we had to postpone due to COVID19, Kezia could not have been more flexible and supportive. She wrote us a new abbreviated script, guided us through the process of planning a small ceremony, including suggesting possible outdoor venues and married us on our original date after all! February Wedding 2020

My wife and I were very overwhelmed on how to pick out Djs, photographers and especially officiants. We relied on recommendations for the prior but most of our friends had church weddings. We needed someone to help us figure out what WE wanted.

Amazing ceremony

I would highly recommend Kezia for anyone looking for a wedding officiant! We felt comfortable with her from the first email and call we had. She is professional, well-spoken, and incredibly knowledgeable. We knew we wanted a relatively short ceremony, but beyond that didn't have any idea how to put together a ceremony, and Kezia guided us to a perfect-for-us ceremony. She provided a ton of information to help build the ceremony, and we were active participants in the writing as well.
Kezia did a great job keeping in touch in the months and days leading up to the wedding, so we knew we were prepared. We didn't do a rehearsal, so shortly before the ceremony she ran through where we were to stand and what we were to say (and helped calm my sister down about her role doing readings too). The ceremony was beautiful and exactly what we wanted, and since the moment the cocktail hour began after the ceremony, I have heard nothing but praise from all our family and friends about how personal, warm, and lovely our ceremony was. Helped us create an amazing ceremony

Kezia was lovely to work with, from the beginning she made the process of writing vows, etc so simple. Giving us all of the tips that we needed. She did such a great job of having our ceremony be a celebration of our love. Kezia is awesome!

My husband and I knew we wanted to have a special, sacred ceremony, but neither of us have ties to a specific religion. Kezia was the perfect option for us. She did the work to learn about us and write up our ceremony, but we were able to tailor it entirely to our liking. With her effort, and our collaboration, it became something that felt so right. Kezia also makes the whole process so easy on her clients - she is incredibly organized and consistently tells you what you need to do next (she sends reminders but is also flexible and understanding about deadlines). When you're so busy organizing the other logistics of the day, it's a huge relief to have someone so on top of your ceremony. I highly recommend her as an officiant, especially to anyone doing a DIY wedding. A few more great things about Kezia: It's very comforting to have her at your rehearsal because she is so organized and knowledgeable about weddings. She has a great attitude and is kind, considerate, and gracious. Last of all, with her effort, our ceremony was more magical and unforgettable than I could have ever imagined. Organized, intelligent, thoughtful...simply amazing!

Kezia is a special person and truly amazing officiant. Where do we begin?! She was so on top of things from day 1. We made several changes to our wedding script, and Kezia never once complained or made us doubt our choice. She replied to every one of my gazillion emails, promptly and with total confidence. That’s exactly what you want in a wedding officiant, and I’m so grateful we found her. Another one of the best aspects of working with Kezia compared to other vendors was how considerate she was leading up to the wedding; she drove out twice (over an hour drive), texted us when she got there so we weren’t worried about it, sent us our wedding script on the morning of to make sure that we had an electronic backup just in case, and covered every single one of the bases that I hadn’t even thought of. Even little details–from adding in a few lines to make the crowd laugh, to bringing about 100 colors of scarves to match the wedding party beautifully–Kezia covered beautifully, professionally, and elegantly. During the rehearsal, she brought extra copies of the readings and vows. She is also very experienced–she told us little details that at the time didn’t seem important, but on the day of I realized exactly what she meant. I remember toward the end of the ceremony, when I was tired and had definitely forgot some of the tips and tricks she said, Kezia walked over and whispered to me “I do” (nobody saw it) to remind me what I needed to do; even such a minor, sweet and considerate gesture made me feel completely at ease (and also made me not forget the two words, which could have totally happened at that point!). I thought to myself, ‘Thank goodness we have Kezia’ in the moment, and I feel the same way looking back on the entire process. I am a planner, and can’t emphasize how nice it was to have someone who thought the same way. I will add that, even for those of you out there who don’t necessarily work far in advance, it’s so worth it to have Kezia there helping you along. She sent us reminders about our marriage license, e-mailed us when she mailed it back to City Hall, and got us working on the script early enough that we didn’t feel rushed in the last few weeks. We got perhaps the most comments on the ceremony than any other aspect of the wedding, and it’s all thanks to Kezia. I never expected so many of my guests to tell me that they cried multiple times (happy tears!), and it warmed my heart to know that Kezia captured all the emotion we felt, and conveyed it to the guests. We recommend Kezia 1,000%!

Brilliant and guided experience

Kezia is more than an "officiant" or a "JP." She was instrumental in keeping us on track. She provides a totally custom and beautiful ceremony package.

For us, she provided constant and relevant updates on ceremony prep and on the marriage license.

Our guests could not stop saying that the ceremony was amongst the best they had ever witnessed, if not THE best. We agree and honestly can't recommend Kezia highly enough.

Still blown away!

Kezia was an absolute highlight of both our wedding day and wedding planning. As a bride who did NOT enjoy every minute of planning/details/vendor organization, it was a huge help having Kezia on our side and making sure things ran smoothly for the ceremony.
She is extremely professional, timely, organized, and calm throughout the whole process (which helps when you yourself are the opposite).
Just like all of the other reviews, our guests all asked us if she was an aunt because of how personal she made the ceremony. It ends up being a lovely story about your meeting, dating, and your shared vision for the future. Our guests laughed, cried and cheered throughout the ceremony and it was truly so much better than I could have imagined it.

So Amazing! Best Decision Ever!

We hired Kezia as our officiant for our wedding in August 2018. We wanted something non-religious, but with a couple Jewish elements thrown in (I'm Jewish and my husband is Catholic). We loved Kezia and hired her at our first meeting. She is super organized while also being so relaxed, which made us really feel at ease.

She gave us a ton of information that helped us understand the options for our ceremony, including vows, rituals, and tons of optional readings. She combined this with information from a questionnaire we took to create a fully customized ceremony completely tailored to us and our personal story. We loved having something so personal for our ceremony and Kezia did a wonderful job. We went back and forth with edits a number of times and Kezia was super accommodating to all our minor tweaks.

When it came to the weekend of, everything about the ceremony went perfectly. Kezia delivered the ceremony beautifully and we were told by so many people how much they loved it. We highly recommend Kezia as the celebrant / officiant for anyone else's wedding. She was absolutely amazing.

I could not have imagined a better officiant for our wedding. From the very start, Kezia took the time to get to know us and our vision for the ceremony. She was always responsive to questions and comments, and made us feel like we were the only couple she was working with. Kezia kept our ceremony planning process on an organized timeline, so by the time we got to the actual ceremony, everything was stress-free! She even made the trip out to our venue for a rehearsal the day before, and arrived well ahead of time the day-of to liaise with the DJ (who provided ceremony music) and our day-of coordinator. The Best Officiant

Kezia was by far the best officiant we could have ever hoped for! We found her on a random Google search after having already looked at so many other options. I was looking for someone with a website that had substantial content; to me that meant that officiating wasn't just something they did on the side in addition to their 9 to 5 job and I wanted someone I felt connected to. Kezia fit that mold! From our first conversation on the phone, she put us at ease and when we met in person, we felt completely confident that she was the right one for us! From the very beginning, she cared to learn about us - about our history, what we wanted for our ceremony and what our hopes were for the future. She gave us a timeline of how to proceed and worked continuously with us during the months leading up to the wedding to edit our ceremony until it was just right. If you are even considering Kezia to be your wedding officiant - stop. right. now. I'm serious. Your search is over! My husband and I really lucked out when we picked Kezia to be our officiant. I considered the ceremony to be the most important part of the wedding and Kezia most definitely delivered. She made the entire process so smooth and even enjoyable. Kezia is very organized, and she has clearly been doing this for a long time. She had a multitude of resources available to us in order to make our wedding ceremony truly personalized and reflect who we really are as a couple. She communicated well with our other vendors and she made sure that everyone was on the same page. During the planning process, Kezia gave us manageable deadlines so that the whole thing wasn't too overwhelming, yet she was flexible when we needed to extend a few dates.

The first time we finally met Kezia at our rehearsal, it felt like we had known each other for years! She is personable and friendly, yet she knows to be firm in order to get stuff done. During the ceremony, when we were a little overcome with emotion during our vows, Kezia's calming presence really helped both of us to take a deep breath and keep going. After our ceremony, our guests kept commenting on how wonderful the ceremony was, how it was one of the most heartfelt they had ever witnessed, and that they had never cried so much at any other wedding before (not that we want to make our guests cry, but happy tears are good). Another guest said that hearing our story (which Kezia told beautifully) made them look at their own relationship in a new light.

To summarize, my husband and I (and our guests!) could not be happier with Kezia's services. Please book her now; you won't regret it!

Kezia officiated my wife and I's wedding 9/2/18 in Boston. She did a fantastic job. We had 66 family members and close friends attend our wedding and everyone came up to us after the ceremony and shared what a fantastic job Kezia did. We met Kezia close to two years ago and from the moment meeting her we believed she was a perfect fit. She was very responsive to emails, had a very good timeline that she kept my wife and I too. She was helpful when we chose to write our own vows as well. My husband Elliot and I could not have chosen a better person to marry us than Kezia!! We are so happy that we worked with Kezia – she did a wonderful job and numerous people have told us that it was the best and most touching wedding ceremony they have ever been to.

Elliot and I are not religious but we wanted a personalized and meaningful ceremony. Kezia worked with us to get to know our story and understand our relationship. She put together a beautiful script about our love story that she read on our wedding day. Writing this script was a collaborative process - Kezia asked us a number of questions that made it easy for us to share details that would make our ceremony unique and personal. She then created a draft that we were able to edit as many times as we wanted before it was finalized.

Getting married also requires decisions about readings and music, choices around ceremony structure, as well as legal forms that need to be submitted. Kezia is incredibly organized and patient and walked us through every step of this process. With so many other things to manage with planning a wedding, it was so comforting to know that Kezia was on top of every one of these details. She helped us to make different decisions along the way and sent us reminders to make sure everything was completed on time.

Also – I should mention that our wedding was on Cape Cod – I was nervous with every vendor I booked that was located off the Cape as summer traffic can be very bad. I did not have to worry about this with Kezia whatsoever. She was early to both our rehearsal and our wedding, organized and ready to go. The day of the wedding she sent me a text once she was on the Cape (several hours early) so that I would not have to worry.

I absolutely recommend working with Kezia, she is the best!

Kezia was wonderful! Our ceremony was so important to my husband and I.We had a lot of ideas but before working with Kezia I was at a loss as to how to put our vision into action... I am a sentimental and spiritual person and I wanted the ceremony to be unique & special, to incorporate symbols, rituals and readings that were meaningful to us, our history, our families, and to capture the essence of our love and life together but we also wanted it to look and feel like a “normal” ceremony incorporating a lot of ‘tradition’ …..all while keeping things on the short and incorporating some humor….no easy task and I was worried about working with a “stranger” for such a deeply personal moment in our lives but Kezia made it easy AND special. We appreciated her structure and organization…she is a pro and was on top of things every step of the way. She was extremely responsive through email and has a clear outline in terms of planning the ceremony. My husband and I both have demanding careers and planning a wedding was hectic…she checked in frequently as we approached our ‘deadlines’ but was never pushy and was understanding if we needed a bit of extra time. She kept us on track and thought of everything.
She provides material to help you piece together the elements of your ceremony but is also flexible in terms of making your unique vision a reality. Although she was organized and prepared… nothing about our ceremony felt ‘canned’. She was prompt to our rehearsal and ceremony and professional, discrete and friendly. She worked well with all of our vendors and took care of little details we might have overlooked. We would highly recommend Kezia. I couldn't have dreamt up a better Officiant/Celebrant for our wedding. Kezia was a home run for us. For me (bride), the Ceremony was the single most important part of the wedding as I wanted someone who embodied and could communicate exactly what love means to my (now) husband and me. Kezia was it, and more. She went to great lengths to meet with me where it was convenient for me, even before I hired her. She was the utmost organized, very kind, open and friendly, and above all, she listened and then manifested the ceremony we asked for. The best part is, she creates your ceremony from scratch, based on what you tell her you want/don't want, and I was able to pick amongst an endless list of readings, quotes, vows, etc. to really make the ceremony script our own.

The whole process working with Kezia was seamless. She was with us every step of the way, was on top of deadlines, checked in frequently, and was flexible when things fell behind schedule (because of me!). She's thorough, eased any anxieties we had right up to our wedding day and during the rehearsal, and was detailed in her instructions of where to go, when to say what, etc. She's also excellent at following up with how to apply for a marriage license.

When you're juggling so many balls in the air in planning for a wedding, you want your Officiant to make things super easy, and Kezia is that person. She's also incredibly thoughtful. She's considerate, asks the right questions and even has 15+ different colored scarves for the bride/groom to choose from in order to match or coordinate with your wedding colors!

On our wedding day, I loved that she stood off to the side so that the photographer could get ceremony photos of just us.

After our wedding day, she followed up with detailed instructions regarding how to obtain a copy of our marriage license. I will tell everyone I know getting married about her. I couldn't have imagined a better Officiant to marry us, she's simply the best!

Kezia is absolutely brilliant! From the first day we met her, I knew she was the celebrant I wanted to work with. She is a pillar of organization, professionalism and experience in the midst of the most chaotic event of your lifetime: your wedding. Trust me, I know your best friend says they'd *love* to be your Justice of the Peace, but there is just no substitute for the quality that Kezia brings to your special day; and, besides, let your best friends enjoy your wedding day without having to stress out over the details of officiating it. Something I especially loved about her service was how she really focused the ceremony around our story as a couple. Several of our guests approached us after the wedding and were convinced Kezia was a family friend!

Hiring Kezia was one of the best choices we made in our wedding planning process. Kezia was incredibly organized and thoughtful throughout the entire process. For a type A person like me, this was a godsend. I appreciated how Kezia had a very clear timetable and deadlines for each step of the process. We iterated with her on the ceremony until we all thought it was perfect and told our story as a couple. In order to help us craft the ceremony, Kezia provided tons of resources like example vows, readings, and rituals. Kezia also made sure to help us with logistical things like getting our wedding license. She even helped me when I subsequently lost said wedding license 2 days before the wedding.

During the ceremony itself, Kezia spoke very articulately and warmly and her pacing was perfect. It was the opposite of the dry, highly-religious ceremonies that you might have experienced before. She made us feel at ease and really brought the audience along in the story. A true professional - she blended the appropriate level of humor and emotion into her delivery .

After the wedding, Kezia promptly handled all the paperwork. She also mailed us a lovely keepsake version of the ceremony which we will definitely hold onto.

Kezia was really just straight-up fun to work with. Even though getting married is a serious commitment, we liked how she shared our attitude about not taking yourself too seriously. Definitely hire her!

You should absolutely hire Kezia as your wedding officiant. From the initial meet-and-greet through the post-wedding logistics, Kezia was responsive, professional, and organized. She laid-out the whole process for us and worked with our feedback to craft the perfect ceremony. She even provided back-up copies of all materials in case of disaster, and made queue sheets for the photographer and musicians. Kezia is warm and eloquent, and it really shined through during our ceremony. About 1/3 of our guests commented to me about how remarkable the officiating was - it basically became people's ice-breaker at the reception. Thanks Kezia!

Beyond happy we chose Kezia for our special day; I can't imagine having anyone else do it better. From day one Kezia has been kind, flexible, responsive and professional. She offered us so many resources to help us achieve the ceremony of our dreams and kept us on a very helpful timeline for getting everything done. Her resources included examples of vows, readings, the different things to think about when putting a ceremony together; also included resources for things to think about when preparing for marriage. She worked with us every step of the way, giving us advice, keeping us on the ball with preparing everything with as little stress as possible. She offers a really great way to go about the ceremony; tells your unique love story instead of typical ceremony readings you hear all the time. We had so many compliments from guests that they actually enjoyed listening to our ceremony and hearing all personal details/stories that were added. The day that we actually got married I was beyond impressed. Kezia delivered our ceremony with such ease and grace, keeping our guests engaged and us relaxed. Listening to our story, reading our vows to each other.... everything went perfect and again I had so many compliments for having such a unique and engaging/beautiful ceremony. Pick Kezia for your wedding, you will NOT regret it.

We had a wonderful experience being married by Kezia. When planning the wedding, we were having trouble deciding on who should marry us. We had no connection to a member of the clergy and our families are different religions, so we were considering asking a friend to do it. We ultimately decided that it would be too much of a burden to put on a friend.

Though we did not want to admit it, we were worried that our ceremony was going to be a let-down for our guests and ourselves. That is until we found Kezia! We found her through the internet, and after an introductory meeting we were ready to work with her. She has a great personality for connecting with people and lots of wonderful ceremony ideas.

Having Kezia there really decreased the stress for us (as two people who are not into event planning). She does a great job of providing options for what you might want and explaining exactly how everything will work when it comes time to execute. She also helps with everything from the marriage license to the ceremony rehearsal. She is extremely organized.

One of the nicest (and most impressive) things that Kezia did was provide a backstory of our relationship and why we wanted to get married during the ceremony. She synthesized this from a set of questionnaires that she gave the bride and groom, and her delivery was spot on. Many people have told me how they thought that part of the ceremony was so nice. It was meaningful for myself too in the moment.

Overall I would highly recommend Kezia as a wedding celebrant. The ceremony was a highlight of our wedding day.

Kezia was absolutely the right choice for our wedding. Given that we were planning a wedding at a distance we were a bit hesitant over the choices available. You never know how someone is in person when over the Internet! But Kezia surpassed expectations. From start to finish she eased our minds during one of the most hectic processes I've been through. She made what seemed a gigantic task so manageable. Additionally she was incredibly warm and calm on the day which helped relieved some of my anxiety! Thank you Kezia!

Kezia was very flexible and helpful with us, we plan our weeding in only four weeks and she was so accommodation. The ceremony came out beautiful.
