Best Hidden Gem of Mazozne

The best kept secret of Mazzone’s stable of venues. The reception area is gorgeous with its high ceilings, old bank vaults, and small architectural details. Gabriela and Marc were fantastic from the moment we booked to the end of our wedding day. They made sure everything went smoothly and was exactly what we wanted. Many guests raved about the food (the short rib grilled cheese during cocktail hour is a must!). The cake was absolutely delicious. The location is perfect as well. The Hampton and DoubleTree are within walking distance (Parker Inn was closed at the time of our wedding) and so are so many great restaurants and bars. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our ceremony and reception

Great Venue and a Hidden Gem

Key Hall is a great venue and a hidden gem in the Capital Region. Being a Mazzone Facility means great service and food, and you are provided with both a day of coordinator, and a bridal attendant. Pictures outside of Proctors are very cool, as well as the vault and other areas around Schenectady. It is very comfortable inside and not too cold in the winter or hot in the summer. Cocktail hour is spacious and the high ceilings and lighting make for a lot of cool pictures. There are 2 hotels within walking distance and I'd recommend Key Hall to any couple looking for a unique venue. There is a bridal suite in the facility and a very cool ceremony space that really make it a unique venue

Beautiful venue, fantastic staff, delicious food

I cannot say enough good things about this Key Hall and Mazzone. They were so easy to work with leading up to the wedding and efficiently answered any questions or requests that I had. The day of couldn't have run smoother - we didn't have to do a thing and people were constantly around us giving us updates or a heads up about where we needed to be when. The place is beautiful and more importantly the food was great.

My Dream Wedding

From start to finish, the Mazzone's staff for Key Hall at Proctors went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Andrea Cole, our event coordinator was absolutely fantastic from day one. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and made all of our decision making throughout the entire planning process an absolute breeze. The day of our wedding, the staff was attentive and handled anything that came up without needing to "bother" us with any issues, if there were even any! Kiersten, our bridal attendant was everything we could have asked for and more - she catered to our every need and made us want for nothing all night! Key Hall was my dream venue and the hall itself is an absolute beautiful place to get married!

The best wedding venue

We recently had our wedding at Key Hall and I cannot say enough good things! Andrea at Mazzone was amazing to work with prior to the wedding and Roz and Maki were our day of coordinators and they were incredible. They worked with all of the vendors to make the night run smoothly. The food was delicious and everyone keeps raving about it. We had the best night!

From day one we just knew Key Hall was THE place!

Andrea, Lesley and Maki made everything perfect for our wedding. From the moment we first walked into Key Hall we knew this was the venue for us. The staff make sure everything is just how you envision your wedding day. We couldn’t have landed a more perfect team and they sure did make our baseball theme wedding a home run! Thank you for helping us plan the wedding of our dreams. When you are sad that the planning and correspondence with the staff is over you know you selected the right location.

Amazing Venue

I can't say enough good things about Key Hall. Andrea and Lucien were so amazing to work with and they made everything leading up to the wedding and during the day of the wedding so easy and pleasant. The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous with so much character and all of the food was so delicious. My guests are still raving about how great the food was. Key Hall and everyone there exceeded my expectations in every way. I would absolutely recommend Key Hall to anyone who wants a great wedding in a beautiful venue with great food.

Fabulously

Andrea, Lucien, and the entire team at Key Hall were absolutely amazing! Andrea walked me through my entire wedding and answered every possible question I could come up with! She made planning my wedding so much less stressful and Lucien made my day go flawlessly! Our personal waitress Kiersten was the best person we could have asked for. She took care of not only us but our parents and bridal party all night! Key Hall was beautiful and Mazzone did an amazing job with the food! Overall, this was the best day we ever could have ever hoped for!

Andrea, Lucian, and the whole team went above and beyond all of my expectations. Their communication prior to our wedding all the way through to our wedding day, I did not have to worry about one thing. Not to mention that the Key Hall building is absolutely gorgeous!!!

Mazzone does it right! My husband and I chose Key Hall because we loved the look of the ballroom and the convenience of the location. Maria was fantastic to work with- we planned our entire wedding in just under 3 months and she made sure everything was perfect. Manny and Rayna made sure our special day was executed meticulously! The food was plentiful and scrumptious and the service was spot on (the crispy eggplant is a must). Having the Parker Inn next door to the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception made it easy for out of town guests and the bridal party. The Parker Inn's Presidential suite and lobby decor make for really cool photos. We highly recommend Key Hall!

We absolutely loved having our wedding reception at Key Hall at Proctors! The entire event ran so smoothly, and our guests raved about the food provided by Mazzone's Hospitality as some of the best they had ever had at a wedding. We agreed - Mazzone's Catering provided three absolutely delicious meals. The venue itself is wonderful. Our guests were impressed with the architecture and lighting in the reception room. The wedding party really enjoyed a minute to sit down and relax in the bridal room during the cocktail hour. Moreover, the staff at Key Hall at Proctors made our day extremely special and memorable by going above and beyond. The level of service the night of our reception was fantastic. Thanks to the hardworking staff, we were able to really enjoy the reception and our time with guests while they juggled details behind the scenes seamlessly. Moreover, planning a wedding from afar can be challenging, but the planning process was simplified in many ways by working with Mazzone's/Key Hall at Proctors. All in all, I can confidently recommend them and say that you will not regret making the decision to hold your reception here!

Frank at Mazzone is amazing. Mazzone does weddings...and they do them right. Every detail was perfect, and if it wasn't they made sure I didn't know it. They made us feel like absolute celebrities throughout the process. This venue is gorgeous, has beautiful places for pictures, and a gorgeous building.

The staff at Key Hall went above and beyond to make our wedding day amazing. From the event coordinator leading up to the big day and the banquet manager the day of, everyone was awesome and made sure the day was exactly what we wanted.

Imagine walking into an elegant room with marble walls, soft glowing up lighting, sparkling tableware and elegant linens. If that is your dream, then Key Hall at Proctors is the venue for you. Guest's breath were taken away by not only the venue , but the incredible service and excellent cuisine. Angela and Manny were extremely attentive to every detail, working with us to create our vision. A month after our wedding and our guests are still commenting on the food, the elegant but warm venue and the outstanding service. Key Hall, the staff and chefs brought to life our vision for our wedding. Bravo to Key Hall at Proctors.

Key Hall at Proctor's is a beautiful venue which fit our style very well. Angelica is the wedding coordinator who was amazing from start to finish. Everything was done very detailed and organized, which made it extremely easy on me, the bride. She was able to get the centerpieces I wanted from another vendor and was able to add it to everything in with Key Hall. Amanda and the staff the night of the wedding were so responsive. They made the night amazing. I highly recommend Key Hall to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue. They made the process so easy, and every wedding guest complimented on how beautiful the ballroom and space looked, as well as the kind and professional staff.

Me and my Husband got married at Key Hall at Proctors in October 2015 and it was amazing. We are both huge fans of Broadway and being able to have our wedding pictures taken inside of Proctors was a huge plus. Of course none of this would have been possible without Angelica Gross she is a huge asset to the Mozzone family. She always responded to our emails promptly and was there to walk the space for my when my mother came up from Buffalo. Also our banquet manager Amanda was great and helped to bring everything together. Both Angelica and Amanda were helpful with an undesirable officiant we had hired and our wedding day would have been horrible without them.
The food was AMAZING! of course we were only able to eat everything the next morning and even then it was great. The value of everything at Key Hall at Proctors was great we had 109 guests at our wedding and the space was perfect. I wish we could get married again just to do it all over again.

We are just in the wedding planning process of our wedding and haven't gotten to the big day yet, but so far, Key Hall has been amazing. Our wedding planner is Angelica and she is professional, super responsive and very helpful. From tips about where to find a wedding dress to what kind of speakers we want our DJ to have, she's been awesome. They even sent us a gift card in the mail for a Facebook competition we were in, which we didn't even win. We are excited for the big day, and know with Mazzone's hospitality as the caterer, there is NOTHING to worry about! The price is amazing and Angelica even altered some things and worked with us to make a package that is affordable for us. She answered all of my e-mails and calls regarding capacity and seating when finalizing the guest list too! I have felt no stress with a my reception venue. I can't wait to get into the next phases of planning with Key Hall!

Key Hall at proctors was a beautiful venue that we fell in love with the first time that we stepped foot into it. From the amazing food to the ambiance, all of our guests were raving about the "wow" factor that Mazzone Hospitality effortlessly executed at our event. They decorated everything perfectly and made sure to make my vision come alive. I did not have to worry about anything, always had a drink in hand, and our breakable decorations and family mementos were handled and re-packed with care after the event. The service was beyond five star on the day of the event thanks to Adrianne and our lead server. Also, Angelica Gross was amazing and made sure that every detail was perfect, and that all food preferences and special orders were accounted for. She was so fun to work with and helped to make everything seamless and perfect. We also held our rehearsal dinner next door at Apertivo Bistro, another Mazzone restaurant, where the food, private room and service were amazing! Key Hall and Mazzone will make your day everything that you want it to be and more. Thanks to all!!

My wedding reception at Key Hall was beautiful and stress-free. The staff at Key Hall (especially Angelica) are professional and organized. They ensure that every detail is covered before the day of so that you have nothing to worry about but having fun. I emailed Angelica many questions during my wedding planning process and her responses will always helpful and prompt. They are willing to make any change so that the day is exactly what you envision. Also, you get a lot for your money at Key Hall. Comparing them with other venues in the capital district, they are the most reasonably priced and you can trust the food and drinks will be delicious since it is catered through Mazzone. Thank you, Key Hall, for helping to make my reception everything I wanted!

Key Hall was the absolute perfect location for our recent wedding. We were able to have everything we could have wanted at a price we felt was fair. This beautiful venue suited our style and with just over 100 guests worked fantastically. With the help of the Mazzone staff and that of the Parker Inn, we were able to have our dream wedding!

Our wedding at Key Hall was beyond wonderful! My husband and I were treated so kindly and professionally. It really truly showed how much they cared about the events that go on there. Everything was a hit, from the look of the venue to the food and right down to the cake! Literally everyone was raving about everything days after the wedding! The staff was so accommodating and wonderful. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

This venue was absolutely amazing, the perfect spot for my 20's inspired decor. Not only is the venue gorgeous, the food was delicious and the staff was delightful. Everyone went out of their way to make sure our day was perfect for us. Frank was the best and made sure everything ran smoothly, which it did! Everything was perfect.

Key Hall is one of the most beautiful, majestic places I have ever seen! It was the perfect venue for our vintage fairytale wedding with the marble floors and pillars and the amazing ceiling!

We had our ceremony and reception at Key Hall. Both far surpassed our expectations. From beginning to end the process was smooth and enjoyable. Angelica was our wedding coordinator and Amanda our banquet manager. Both were great to work with and ensured the day went smoothly. We chose to do the buffet option and the food was incredible. Many of our guests commented on how all the staff on the day of the wedding were attentive to their needs. The space is amazing and looked absolutely beautiful on our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get married due to many out of town guests. Hotels and yards away and there are many options for eating and drinking.

Angelica was our wedding coordinator. She helped us with every little detail from the beginning to end. We would have been lost without her help. Our day couldn't have turned out any better! Space was beautiful and decorated just as we asked. There was more food than we could even think of eating. Cake was beautiful. Her staff the day of the wedding were also tremendous. It was perfect. We would highly recommend Mazzone and Key Hall for your wedding.

Key Hall was fantastic for our reception. First of all, the space was beautiful. Every employee there was so kind and helpful. Angelica helped us do all of the details beforehand. Adrian handled the everything the night of perfectly. Raina was our bridal attendant, and she made sure we had everything we possibly could have needed or wanted. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our reception, and enjoyed it so much.

I could not recommend this venue more highly. I have not heard anything less than the highest compliments from my guests. From the beauty of the venue, the quality of the service, the attention to detail, and the food, nothing could have possibly been done better. Everything was well beyond my expectations. Angelica and Felicia were wonderful to work with, very attentive, friendly, and truly concerned with making our special day incredible. All of my guests have raved about the food and the uniqueness of the venue itself. Beyond the venue and food, which I expected to be fantastic, Angelica and Felicia went well beyond my expectations, incorporating my theme and personality into the decorations and details of the day.

Both our ceremony and reception were held at Key Hall at Proctors on 8/1/2014. Our night was perfection from beginning to end. Angelica Gross was our event planner and she was beyond fabulous. When I first met her, she was so professional, friendly, and stylish that I knew we were in great hands. I would say she handled all my concerns but to be honest, we never had any concerns because of the flawless reputation of Key Hall and all the Mazzone properties. However, Angelica handled all my requests and even made sure my friend who has a severe gluten allergy was accommodated. On the day of the wedding, my grandmother had taken a cab from her home to the Hampton Inn and her cab was extremely late. Key Hall had a staff member call the cab company to locate her and then went to the Hampton Inn, met her there, and accompanied her to Key Hall...and she was there in time!! Felicia from Key Hall worked with us at the final meetings, rehearsal, and the night of the wedding. She was so professional and just a wonderful person. Rena was my personal bridal attendant and everyone in my bridal party kept commenting how attentive and wonderful she was, always checking that we were happy. The decor, the food, the atmosphere were all amazing and I cannot say enough great things about Key Hall at Proctors. They truly took care of us from beginning to end of night. Although me and my husband had a personal attendant, every single staff member would check to see if we were comfortable or needed anything. They would even comment how happy they were for us. I felt like I was in a dream all night. My guests have all been raving how much they too loved Key Hall. Now, I'm just hoping someone I know is married at Key Hall because I'm dying to go back!!!

Our wedding ceremony and reception was held here at Key Hall July 3, 2014. It was wonderful! From pre-wedding stages to event staff were amazing. Angelica Gross was our event planner, who was a joy to work with. She is very motivated and creative. She will share whatever your vision is and ensures it becomes a reality. Frank, Adreane, Raina and the rest of Mazzone Hospitality staff were very professional, hospitable and attentive. They made sure everythng ran smoothly and timely. They made sure all our requests were met and guests were taken care of. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and ethereal. The food was phenomenal! I would not change a single thing!

Such a great experience from the beginning with Key Hall & Mazzone Hospitality! I could not say enough good things about our event and planning process. We felt Key Hall and staff bent over backwards to ensure we were always fully satisfied. Answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly and insisted on doing whatever they could to please us. During and after the event our close family and friends agreed that the wedding was wonderful and exceeded their expectations.

Key Hall was the absolute perfect wedding venue! They made all of my dreams come true. Everything was taken care of from start to finish the exact way we wanted it! The staff was so awesome to work with while planning and the service at the wedding was outstanding! My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Key Hall. The food was absolutely delicious - multiple people told me they ate their entire meal and loved it. The service was wonderful - everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Rana was a wonderful attendant - she was very relaxed and reassuring which made it easy for me to be at ease. The cake was so yummy - we look forward to eating it again next year! Angelica and Amanda were absolutely wonderful and were able to translate exactly what I wanted. I really can't believe how perfectly everything went and I have your company to thank - we couldn't have done this without you!

We loved everything about having our reception at Key Hall at Proctors. Emily Miller was incredible to work with and made the entire process enjoyable. She was always quick to answer questions, accommodate our requests and changes, and was an all-around great person to work with. In addition, every staff member we worked with the day of the wedding was phenomenal. Everything was perfect the day of our wedding. The food was delicious, the venue looked beautiful with the blue uplighting, and everything went according to schedule. Our guests had an amazing time and cannot stop talking about how much they loved Key Hall.

There was so much to consider when choosing a venue. We knew that we wanted it to be easy for our guests to get around to various events, we wanted to have the ceremony in the same space, and we wanted character without sacrificing comfort. We got all of that at Key Hall, and had a really wonderful day thanks to Emily, Vito, and the Mazzone staff. We loved that we didn’t have to do much to the space, including rent chairs or chair covers, and our guests loved that they just had to get to downtown Schenectady and enjoy themselves. Emily was full of ideas and insight, great at figuring out what mattered to us, and there for us every step of the way. Everything was seamless, and people raved about the food and the service. We took Emily’s suggestion to hire a DJ that had worked in the space before and had no acoustic issues. Mazzone really made the process so easy on us, and came through with flying colors at our ceremony and reception.

The Mazzone Group does it again! Our experience having our reception at Key Hall was top notch. The staff from beginning to end went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. All of our guests needs were met and everyone left saying how amazing the food, service , and the experience was. We could not have chosen a more beautiful location for our reception and do not hesitate to brag about how easy and fun the experience working with the Mazzone folks was!

My husband and I are so glad we chose to have our reception at Key Hall. The site is gorgeous, and the room's high ceilings and detailed architecture add so much character. The staff are wonderful: from Angelica who guided us through the planning process and our banquet manager Amanda who ensured the night went off without a hitch. Not only was the food incredible, but we were able to enjoy the night worry free because the staff handled everything. They even brought us up slices of our wedding cake and extra food to our room at the Parker at the end of the night. One thing we really appreciated was the grand tasting event that we were invited to several months before our wedding which allowed my husband and I to sample all the food and experience what it would be like to attend a wedding at the venue. It really assured us of the quality and service we would recieve on our wedding night. We highly recommend this venue!

Key Hall was a phenomenal venue for our wedding. The food and service was excellent as well as there was great attention to detail that made our event well executed. The wedding coordinate Angelica was extremely helpful in the planning process and made everything less stressful. My husband I are extremely happy with everything from the ceremony through the reception. Multiple guests commented on how good the food was and how wonderful the wedding was overall. A beautiful space that was perfect for our wedding.

The wedding was amazing! We couldn't have been happier with the way things turned out, and we owe it all to the attentive staff at Key Hall! Since our wedding in June, we're heard nothing but the highest praises from our guests, who were wowed by the food, the atmosphere and the venue.

The staff made us feel like celebrities-catering to our every need at the wedding. Their attention to detail leading up to the wedding as well paid off, and they were able to incorporate several meaningful details into the reception. We showed up to our final planning meeting with boxes of decorations and details, and was completely blown away by the beautiful wedding they were able to create for us!

The staff's professionalism put us at ease, so we knew we were in good hands. Know if you choose Key Hall, you'll be in good hands as well.

I cannot say ENOUGH about Angelica and my Bridal Consultant, Rana. All throughout our planning process, Angelica has been such a lifesaver. She is so kind, sweet, yet has so much positive energy that I truly could not get enough of while planning our wedding. I had not met Rana until the day of our wedding but she was just the best person to have around for me that day. She bustled my dress, got me anything I could have asked for, ensured that everything made it back up to our room, and everything.

The ONLY reason I'm deducting stars (and honestly, I hate, hate, hate having to do so) is because my husband struggled with our day-of wedding coordinator, Manny. He did not unlock the doors until after 5 PM (our wedding was supposed to begin at 5:30), he did not ensure that the groomsmen were lined up prior to the bridal party walking down the aisle, and was not around when my husband needed him. Fortunately, I was not aware of many of these issues until after the wedding, and I hope that this does not dissuade any future brides because there are many other day-of coordinators!!

Other than these slight issues, everything else was PERFECT. The venue is gorgeous, affordable, and the food is DEEEELISH!!

Key Hall is defiantly a venue that holds classic elegant with a modern flair. The LED lights are sure to match any theme that you are working with. The Mazzone menu is unmatched when looking at other caterers in the Schenectady area.

The only negative we experienced is their miscommunication with our DJ. There were times when Mazzone did not follow our DJs agenda and almost skipped certain dances and events we wanted to include. They have a set agenda that they want to stick with so make sure your needs and wants are heard.

Overall it was a magical night that I will never forget and we couldn't have done it without being at Key Hall!
