Kevin Miso and his band are incredible! First off, they are so talented and incredible musicians. They are so much more than just a wedding band. He took the time to speak with my wife and I via zoom for over an hour to make sure it was exactly what she and I wanted. He was so courteous and respectful. Plus, when you meet him in person you will realize immediately how good of a guy he is and how much he cares about your special day. I would highly recommend him to anyone for any occasion. Definitely ask him to play his 90's hip hop freestyle montage...just trust me. Thank you again Kevin for being so professional and easy to work with. Our entire wedding party loved you guys and more importantly you made our wedding day what we wanted!

Incredible!

Kevin is simply put - amazing!! His live performance during the ceremony was so beautiful and romantic - we couldn't have asked for more! And then there was the reception, where we got MORE! During dinner he broke out the harmonica and was playing his guitar simultaneously as he played Sublime's Love Is What I Got & 2 Pac's California Love, among others - & our guests loved it!! And we loved it!!! He maintained our requests on his play list, as well as those on the do not play list (despite some friends asking for certain songs haha!) During our initial phone call, he was super chill, warm & sweet, stating how much he loves doing weddings & is able to feel the crowd and just goes with it! You will NOT be disappointed in him, his kind nature & insane talent. He was just more than we ever could have dreamed of!

A no-brainer!

Kevin was recommended to us by several people in the industry, and we can definitely understand why! Kevin is such a pleasure to work with. He is a true professional and kept us organized from start to finish. He also is such an awesome person, and his easygoing personality was such a breath of fresh air during what can be a stressful time. Our guests were blown away by his voice and the sentimental ambiance he created. We had so many people ask how we found him. Kevin is such a versatile performer. He played live acoustics at our ceremony and dinner and then transitioned into a DJ/MC for dancing. He made the whole night seamless and was spot-on with his song choices and timing. Entertainment was a top priority for us when planning our wedding, and Kevin far exceeded our expectations. It was such a pleasure to work with him!!

Best decision we made

Kevin is a total gem. Our venue didn’t allow bands, so we thought Kevin would be the next best thing as a musician/DJ. Turns out hiring him was one of the best decisions we could have made. From our first meeting on Zoom, we could feel his excitement and passion for what he does through the screen. He helped us figure out our timeline and what songs would be best played when. Walking down the aisle was made that much more dreamy with his acoustic melodies and he got everyone on the dance floor during dinner with his pop mash ups. People can’t stop talking about him. Thank you so much Kevin!

Incredible musician and all-around great human

HIRE KEVIN RIGHT NOW! Kevin was seriously THE BEST to work with and such an incredible musician and artist.

Right from the start, we knew Kevin would be a good fit for us because is he a joy to chat with over the phone. He is so casual yet professional, chill yet detail oriented... just our vibe! Leading up to the day, we felt like Kevin had everything perfectly under control and taken care of.

During our wedding, Kevin timed everything PERFECTLY and was a great mix of ever-present but also faded into the background at all the right moments. He's great at reading a room and kept my family and friends on the dance floor all night! I really loved how Kevin played his guitar and harmonica during dinner, it was so special! Hiring Kevin Miso was the best decision we made!

Kevin is SO incredible! From start to finish he was so easy and awesome to work with. I'm a wedding planner myself who had worked with Kevin a few years ago. I remember thinking to myself, when I get married we are 100% hiring him! Fast forward, when it came to picking a musician for our wedding, Kevin was a no brainer.

His live music performances are so incredible! During our wedding and even to this day, our guests have raved about Kevin and his musical and artistic abilities! Not only was his live performances amazing but his DJing was great too! He knew exactly what to play, made announcements so naturally and kept the party going.

We could not recommend Kevin enough!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!

Hiring Kevin Miso was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Kevin was AMAZING!! He played live, DJed, and was our MC!! Our guests LOVED him!!! He was so fun to work with and made everything fun and easy!! He kept the party going all night! He was more than just a musician/DJ...he also personalized our wedding by mixing together our favorite songs on the spot, learning Taylor swift songs for us, and singing Killer Whale by Andre Nicatina! 10/10 would recommend!!! Oh man, Kevin is so amazing! My now husband and I decided to hire Kevin for our December 2019 wedding and we are so glad we did! Not only is he an incredible performer and DJ, but he also brings such a fun presence. He is so talented and everyone at our wedding kept asking for his information! We had him play his live music during dinner and it really created such a special vibe. He’s super friendly and just an all around great guy. I HIGHLY recommend Kevin if you’re looking for someone who can do it all (live music, DJ, entertain)!

Hire this man!

Kevin is the best, straight up. Echoing everyone else's reviews of him: he's rad, so easy to work with, super talented, flexible, and amazing at what he does! Nothing is worse than a super corny wedding MC/DJ, which is why we're so glad we hired Kevin for our big day. He has effortless cool dude vibes and can bop from live music to DJing just like that. Kevin was incredible! Our guests couldn't stop raving about him

Kevin was absolutely fantastic. He played a beautiful acoustic set during our ceremony, a DJ set during the cocktail hour, and a combination live-band/DJ set during our 5-6 hour reception. His band was awesome too; all so talented. He's an incredible musician, easy going, and a delight to work with. The next day our guests couldn't stop raving about the incredible music. 11/10 would recommend again and again!

This past weekend I had the privilege of working with Kevin Miso for the first time in my three years as a wedding coordinator. I had never heard of him before and was skeptical when my clients told me they had a DJ of their own in mind. Kevin Miso not only met expectations but he exceeded them and not just mine but all of the guests' expectations as well. Besides his professionalism and flexibility, Kevin delivered not only as a vocalist but as a DJ as well. He was able to sing the low notes AND the high notes beautifully all the while meshing songs and beatboxing. When it came to the reception, he was able to get ALL the guests, young and old, on the dance floor. That is a rarity. I honestly do not have enough good things to say about my experience with Kevin.

From a wedding coordinator's perspective, Kevin made sure to familiarize himself with the client's timeline and always made sure to check in with me before proceeding with the night's major events. Despite changes in the timeline, Kevin remained flexible and made announcements when asked. I would most definitely hire Kevin for my own wedding when the time comes. Thank you for all of your help, Kevin! It was a perfect wedding!

Cannot speak more highly of Kevin

Kevin is seriously the man, and our wedding was so special because of him. First of all, he's an incredibly talented musician who can play piano, guitar, and sing. He also took the time to learn all of our favorite songs and artists before the wedding, played the perfect DJ set during the reception, and was an amazing MC. Kevin is the man!

Kevin did a tremendous job as our DJ and MC. Our original appeal to picking Kevin, was that he could double as a DJ/MC but also play guitar and sing during the ceremony/cocktail hour and man he did not disappoint! Not only did we love him right from the start and he was a joy to work with during the planning process, but now our guests still 1 month out from the wedding cannot stop raving about how amazing he was and already asking for his referral! He seriously has such a wonderful vibe and positive energy that he emits, it directly transmits to the atmosphere of wedding. He is a phenomenal musician and definitely kept the party going on the dance floor as the MC/DJ. There was never a moment that the dance floor was not packed at our wedding and this is mostly in part because of Kevin. He also made all of the transitions throughout the wedding (ie from the cocktail hour to reception to speeches and dancing) so seamless. We are so grateful that we had Kevin there for our day and we would highly recommend him to all of our friends and family. Thanks Kevin for making our dream day the best day of our lives!

This is your DJ!!

I truly have no idea where to start when it comes to Kevin. He is truly one of a kind, unique, and personable DJ and musician. When you first meet him it’s like you have known him for years! He is very flexible and is always there to answer any of your questions. When we met with him prior to the wedding he knew exactly the vibe we were going for and nailed it at the wedding! People haven’t stopped talking about Kevin. There was never a dull moment at our wedding because of Kevin. People danced all night long!! Seriously look no further. Kevin not only Dj’s but plays the guitar and sings as well. He is a very talented, down to earth guy who will make your wedding a party.

You can't go wrong with Kevin!

My daughter and her fiance attended a wedding several months before their December 1st wedding. Kevin was the musician and DJ performing at the wedding and they found their guy! Kevin was professional, fun, kind and extremely talented! On the day of the wedding, Kevin traveled to our Palm Desert home where the reception was being held, smoothly set up his stations (he performed in different locations), and greeted our guests with his musical talents and charisma! As a musician, emcee and DJ, Kevin’s presence wowed us, gathered us, and guided us through announcements, speeches, dinner, dancing and the merriment of the evening. Because of Kevin’s warmth and authenticity, several of our guests thought Kevin was a family friend! It is difficult to describe in words how grateful we are to have had Kevin be such an important part of our daughter and her husband’s wedding day and story. More than just a wedding singer!!!

Kevin Miso will absolutely ROCK your world. We had a 9 piece band, and to say they rocked the night away is an understatement. If you want your wedding to be the best day of your lives, and you want the most amazing dance party, you’ve come to the right place. Kevin was an absolute delight to work with from beginning to end. Throughout the planning process, Kevin was helpful, kind, reassuring, and professional. Kevin worked with us to plan every piece of our wedding ceremony, cocktail party, and reception bringing his extensive experience to the table to guide us to the perfect event. After our final Facetime call with Kevin the week before the wedding, we felt so comfortable and cared for going into what could be a very stressful event. Then the wedding day arrived. Then we got to see the real Kevin Miso. The dude showed up early, shredded acoustic guitar for our guests while they arrived and got settled, helped people when they had questions and then cued the waterworks with INCREDIBLELY beautiful guitar while the wedding party came down the isle. I'd like to tell you that he nailed my bride's song too, but after the first 3 chords and the first sung words of the song we'd chosen and a glimpse of her in that dress, I about blacked out. From what I'm told it was perfection, too. Kevin wowed our guests with a few hours more of his acoustic playing and magnificent singing voice-- and I was about to shut him down because of the nearly constant praise I was hearing from my family and friends practically stealing our spotlight. But how could I? I felt like I was front row at a Clapton concert in 1968 getting my face melted and couldn't peel my ears away for a second. This man crushes guitar. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Kevin put the guitar away and started throwing down fire track after fire track on his DJ set lighting the dance floor up for the remainder of the night. Following the ebb and flow of our guests, he kept the energy high when people were cutting rugs and brought bodies close with some soulful slow songs. Kevin Miso made the night. In short, Kevin is professional, kind, immeasurably talented, and the right man for your wedding too. I'm going throw another party just to hire him again.

He's AWESOME! My wife and I can't say enough good things about Kevin and his professionalism. We were given a list of about 6 DJs from our venue on the "preferred vendor list". After one conversation with Kevin I knew he was perfect for us and to best capture the vibe of our wedding. Something that set him apart was his clear love for what he does. Getting to know him in the 6 months leading up to the big day, he only confirmed [repeatedly] that we'd made the right choice. He was extremely helpful in helping us coordinate our reception playlist including offering suggestions, he played his guitar during dinner hour (A DEFINITE MUST), and even helped with some minor setup prior to...that wasn't even DJ related. I can honestly say our Wedding Day wouldn't have been quite as special without Kevin. If you're thinking about booking him, DO IT!

Kevin Miso and his band were absolutely amazing at my wedding in Laguna Beach, CA on 6/30/18!!! From the beginning, Kevin was quick to respond to my emails and texts. We met in person before the wedding to go over all portions of the ceremony/reception and he provided a "shared document" for me so I could edit the song choices and timeline as needed. He also provided a list of song choices/ideas which helped a lot! He played acoustic guitar and sang during our ceremony and cocktail hour, was the MC to announce all parts of the reception, and then lead singer of the 5 piece band! He got the crowd pumped up and the dance floor was going the whole night long! Without Kevin, my wedding would not have gone soo smoothly! He is so so talented and all of my guests were extremely impressed! He is a fun, outgoing person and made the whole experience awesome! He played all of the songs we requested. It was pretty awesome to be able to have our first dance to a "live band"! I highly recommend Kevin Miso for any bride and groom to be! You will be very happy with your choice!

I cannot say enough good things about Kevin. Simply put, HIRE HIM NOW. You will not regret it. In fact, all your guests will rave about him and it will be one of the best decisions you make while wedding planning - that's what happened for us. He does it all and does it all REALLY well. He's a talented musician, DJ and emcee (also a super nice, down-to-earth guy). I gave him our ceremony music a few weeks before the big day and he played it all acoustically (and beautifully!) he even learned our communion song at the last minute and it was incredible. He also took our music preferences into consideration and threw in a few covers of our favorite country songs during dinner - everyone loved it! Not only did he deliver on the day of, he made the planning process a breeze. He was accessible, professional and super helpful. From start to finish, Kevin was unbelievably helpful, professional, responsive, and so much fun to work with!! Jake and I could not have chosen a better musician and DJ for our wedding day! He played guitar and sang live for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance and DJed/MCed the rest of reception. In rewatching our first dance video with family and friends, the first thing everybody mentions is how amazing Kevin's voice is - he is truly SO talented!! And on top of it, once he started DJing later in the evening, every single one of our guests was on the dance floor (even those who NEVER dance). Kevin's excitement and energy are contagious and you can't help but have a great time working with him!

If you are looking for a unique, non-cheesy, fun, professional, and talented musician/DJ Kevin is your guy!! We can't imagine our wedding day without him and are still getting comments from our guests about how amazing he was!

We hired Kevin to play acoustic ceremony music, play live for cocktail hour and DJ our wedding. He also played music while our cousin sang during the ceremony. It was one of the best decisions we made! At the wedding, so many of our guests came up to us and told us how great he was, and he kept the party going all night. I don't think there was a moment when the dance floor wasn't packed with people. We highly recommend Kevin!

When you get engaged, a huge overwhelming rush comes upon you. Where are you going to have the ceremony, reception, food, drinks, music, decor, color scheme, flowers?!?, etc. When I started my journey on finding music for my wedding, it actually wasn't until I went to my friends wedding where I found Mr. Kevin Miso. He BY FAR made my wedding. His voice sounds like John Mayer (better in my opinion). He has such a warm personality and just made the whole reception flow. He definitely made it fun for everyone. I sent him a 'do-playlist' and a 'do-not playlist' and he did exactly what I had wanted, with a few surprises thrown in (where he would play the songs acoustically). I was so lucky to have found him and am such a big fan of Kevin. Brides - do yourself a favor and have Kevin at your wedding. You will be so glad you did! :)

Kevin truly did it all at our wedding and was a huge component in making it a success! Kevin is an incredible entertainer, singer, and musician, first and foremost, and cannot be matched with his vocal ability and versatility as a live performer, DJ, and MC. During our ceremony and reception Kevin was able to sing and play music we asked him to play live, added his own original content which fit our island style theme, and was able to anticipate and read the crowd to ensure a constant flow of energy.

At one point during our wedding we had to make a last minute decision to take sunset photos before our program had concluded for dancing. This required about 30 minutes of entertainment. Instead of just playing recorded music Kevin was able to, on the spot, play a mash up of our favorite 90's and 2000 songs effortlessly which started the dance floor -- our guests are still raving about this performance!

Most of all, though, Kevin is a good person and brings energy and fun while being genuine. A wedding is a huge day in someone's life and working with Kevin was one of the best decisions we ever made for our wedding.

Hiring Kevin Miso and his band for our wedding was the best decision we made by far! My one piece of advice: spend your money on Kevin and his band and your wedding will be fun and memorable for everyone! From the very first meeting, Kevin was accommodating, professional, extremely knowledgeable about weddings, and I have to mention that my mom, wedding planner, husband and I all call him Mcdreamy because he's so good looking. I did a lot of research on bands for my wedding because I wanted to stay within budget and Kevin miso was priced extremely competitively.... he should really charge more because him and his band are beyond talented. My husband and I didn't even know what to ask during our meetings but thankfully Kevin walked us through them asking relevant questions. He got to know us on a personal level and catered his music to our taste. He helped us pick out songs for the ceremony and some of the important dances, it helped a lot. He learned a few new songs for us as well, which he played to perfection! We got the 5-piece band and they started playing after dinner.... absolutely phenomenal. People young and old were all on the dance floor, the music was so well rounded. We keep getting compliments about the rockstar female vocalist, the guy on the keyboard with his sweet rendition of daft punk, and the overall vibe that Kevin and his band provided that night. Kevin was the ultimate MC and handled our last minute changes with ease (like our bridal procession switch up last minute). I have nothing but positive things to say about Kevin miso and his band and will refer him to everyone I know getting married because everyone at our wedding had a blast thanks to him!!!

Kevin was recommended to us by our wedding planner and we could not have been more happy with him! He sang before ceremony and during the processional, and was the DJ for the reception. Everyone we spoke to mentioned how blown away they were with his singing. He even learned a song for us. We gave him little-to-no direction for the reception and he perfectly followed the tone of the evening by slowly building up the dance music so that once the night was over, the party was still bumping and everyone had to be kicked off the dance floor. We would give him more than five stars if we could!

Kevin was absolutely INCREDIBLE. He, like the review below, was the star of our wedding and vendors. We had him sing for our Ceremony/Cocktail hour and Dinner and then DJ the rest. We asked him to learn a few songs for us to sing acoustic for the ceremony and he did! Our goal was to be able to create an intimate small ceremony with 136. We had soo many compliments about him and his voice - even now, 2 weeks after our big day! We are so Thankful for Kevin keeping the energy and vibes alive the whole time. Our families are trying to find future events to hire him for because he was so exceptional. You will not be let down if you include Kevin to be apart of your big day - that is a promise.

Kevin Miso was the glue that held our wedding together! Before our wedding, we met with Kevin two times. Each time, we didn't want him to leave because we enjoyed chatting with him so much. He not only is a fab DJ but an ever better musician . He sang pre-ceremony, ceremony and during dinner. Everyone was telling us throughout the night how amazing he was! One of my dear friends from high school liked him so much, she hired him that night for her wedding next year! Such a pleasure working with Kevin!

If you're looking for a DJ, Band, or hybrid of the two....LOOK NO FURTHER! There isn't enough to say about how amazing Kevin and his band were at our wedding. We learned of Kevin through a friend early on in the planning process and booked him right away because music was a huge deal for us and he came highly recommended as a DJ. At that time we were only planning to use his DJ services because we had a huge list of songs we wanted to play. Later in the game we decided to add on the band and do a mix of the two. This is one of the BEST decisions we could have made for our big day! Our dance floor was overflowing the ENTIRE night and we even had guests join them on stage for a song or two. No one sat down, they really kept the party going which was exactly what we wanted.

As far as quality.... they surpassed expectations and took our wedding to a level we couldn't have even imagined. We went with their 4 piece band and had a very diverse group of guests which made the playlist very important. We wanted to be sure something played for everyone and it certainly did. The skill level was unmatched.

Lasty, this was a team of FUN professionals who kept things clean and classy, but know how to have a good time. If we had to do it all again, there is no amount we wouldnt pay to have Kevin and his band members there. We are so thankful to them.

Kevin is one of the first vendors we booked for our recent July and we had the best time with him!

If you’re looking for the perfect audio-meister to preside over your wedding, here are a few reasons why your search is over:
1) Kevin was absolutely instrumental in setting the mood for one of the most laidback and fun nights we've ever had. He really made our night, and we felt 200% represented on the dancefloor and off!

2) He's super talented - Firstly, he hosted the entire evening with minimal (by this I mean zero) input from us; treated us to super sublime live acoustic during our dinner reception, (his renditions of some of our favorite songs blew us away); and his DJ set was on point and kept our normally extremely reserved crowd on the floor right till the very end!

3) He gets it - He put us at ease from our first call, but beyond that, Kevin understood where we wanted to go with our music choices after we shared some tracks we liked. We never had to specify a playlist, whether during the dinner or dancing, but were constantly amazed by how he got it right, track after track. Case in point, our dance reception was hosted right next to another wedding's - and our music was 50X better than theirs the entire night!

4) Every single guest raved about him (girls and guys alike)!

In short, Kevin’s truly an all around rockstar and we cannot recommend him highly enough!

Booking Kevin Miso was the best decision I made regarding my wedding. Music is very important to me and Kevin blew me away. He is a true professional who is also incredibly talented. He played live for my ceremony, our first dance and dinner service, he MCed, AND he DJed an awesome set that had everyone dancing. He set the tone for the entire event and I can't tell you how many people raved to me about him. He was super easy to work with, and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He even learned my favorite song and played if beautifully for my walk down the aisle. I honestly feel so honored that he was a part of our wedding day!

We hired kevin for our wedding just three weeks ago and we were so IMPRESSED! Not only did we think he was PERFECT for our event but our guest are still talking about just how talented he is! I can not say enough about just how awesome this guy is. He treated us like we were good friends, he made the event absolutely stress free, and his voice is unbelievable. He was by far our BEST DECISION in our planning and if we ever get around to planning another event we would love to have him a part of it. Thank you so much Kevin! Kevin is Aaaahmazing!!! We could not find a dj/band combo we were satisfied with for our Paso Robles wedding. We heard about Kevin from a friend and so glad we booked him! All our guests kept talking about how awesome he was! Kevin is more than a wedding band/dj - he is a very talented artist who loves what he does and who genuinely wants to throw the best party for your wedding! He has a great attitude and one that will keep everyone dancing! I know I danced for most of the night, and so did everyone else. We could not help it. :) Definitely was one of the best decisions we made as well!!

Kevin Miso is a ROCKSTAR! We were referred by our wedding planner, Amy Kuchta at LVL Events (She's a ROCKSTAR too!) She had done multiple events with Kevin and mentioned that he always did an amazing job with any kind of vibe that the couple was looking for. He is multi-talented; he can sing, play the acoustic guitar, MC and DJ. All at an extremely high level. When he was singing live, people forgot that there was an actual person singing, that is how exceptional his voice is. He took great interest in the kind of vibe that we wanted in the different parts of the wedding (Acoustic love songs in the church; cocktail reception at a contemporary estate, vegas poolside feel; dinner- acoustic set of classic songs; and dancing- started with all ages songs to full on dance party!) He was so amazing and as a testament to his skills, the dance floor was NEVER empty, always full and we danced until 2am! 4 hours straight! Countless people have told us since the wedding, that this was one of the best PARTY weddings they have ever been to! All thanks to the vibe Kevin set! On top of all this, he is the nicest guy to interface with. You can not go wrong with Kevin Miso with live music and DJ services! We highly recommend him!

Kevin Miso was the best possible choice we could ever have made for DJ and Music at our Wedding. Bluff ceremony with no power close by; No problem, wireless sound system. Cocktail hour music playing in the background not to overwhelm guests’ conversations and away from DJ setup; No problem, separate stand-alone speakers. Specific choice of DJ playlist to accommodate bride and groom's tastes; No problem. If he doesn't have it, he'll find it. Laid back and easy going (non-overwhelming) MC direction; No problem, "Hey folks, the Bride and Groom would like to have dessert first. A little unconventional, but hey, I'll go for it". I reviewed allot of DJs and received several bids, but Kevin was hands down the most flexible and the only one we felt comfortable with. Not only does he offer standard DJ services, but he can also tailor his own style of music with songs and acoustic guitar (our venue would not allow amplified music). He even accommodated our non-standard acoustic choices for the processional (Desperado, Pretty Woman, etc.) Kevin Miso is the absolute best choice for Music at any Wedding in Southern Calif. !!

When our reception venue told us no live music (because of noise restrictions) except for one guy... we were shocked... When that guy turned out to be Kevin Miso, we couldnt have been happier!!! From the moment we met him, we knew that he would be a great match for the wedding we envisioned.

He is extremely talented, responsive, professional, attentive, punctual, and did we mention, extremely talented? We went to see him at a live gig he was playing in Venice Beach and confirmed our suspicions that he was the REAL DEAL! After our wedding was over, we asked some of our friends who had been married recently about what they paid for entertainment and were shocked at what a deal Kevin was for such a professional. He played acoustic guitar at our ceremony, then again at cocktail hour at a different venue. Then he killed it as a DJ during our reception. 100% of our guests commented on what an incredible DJ, singer, and guitar player he was. He absolutley set the tone for an incredible evening, one that wouldn't have been the same without him. If you're looking for a musician or DJ for your wedding and you're in the So-Cal area, you'd be very, very lucky to book Kevin.
