Keswick Vineyards was truly the wedding venue of our dreams - as wine lovers, we toured two years (two!!!) out from our wedding date before even being engaged, and my husband immediately turned to me after and said, “Okay, I want to get married here.” So we were that crazy couple who booked almost two years out, pre-engagement.
Two years of dreaming and planning did not adequately prepare us for the beauty of our wedding day at Keswick. We have seen many types of venues - barns, country clubs, hotels, museums, you name it - but nothing parallels the “wow” factor and unique flow of Keswick. From the ceremony with the backdrop of the vines and Blue Ridge Mountains, to the twinkle of cocktail hour in the courtyard, and the stunning garden party tent reception - everything was pure magic and perfection. Our friends and family were genuinely *blown away* by the estate and venue, and are still commenting on it this day. We have gotten so many comments saying how it was the most beautiful wedding our guests have ever attended.
The day of our wedding, the entire venue staff was incredibly kind and accommodating to our friends/family and us as a couple. We didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Cindy, Keswick’s owner, until day of, and everything couples say is true. She went above and beyond to know that we had the day/night of our dreams. My husband dislocated his kneecap during our first dance (tragic but true), and Cindy didn’t miss a beat to make sure our night carried on without a hitch. She brought bandages for wrapping, crutches so that he could hobble from place to place, and helped us/him get around the venue at large on a golf cart - tell me another venue that could accommodate all of that, or another owner who cares enough to provide her couple with anything necessary to see them happy. Despite his injury, we were truly floating on Cloud 9 all evening, and Cindy played a crucial role in making that happen. We will forever be grateful to her for the part she played in our day, and we would get married at Keswick over and over again, without hesitation. Katherine Sent on 12/09/2025The Most Stunning, Seamless, and Perfect Wedding Venue!
We booked Keswick Vineyards just two weeks after our engagement because, as soon as we saw it, we instantly knew it was the one. Our wedding day confirmed it was the best decision we made!
Keswick is absolutely breathtaking. We had a fall wedding, and the scenery was simply magnificent. The entire estate is a photographer and videographer’s dream, offering endless backdrops: the grand estate and fountain (which turns on beautifully right after the "I do's"), the vineyard, the pool area, carport, the trees deserve their own category, and more.
Our guests told us that it was the smoothest wedding they had ever attended logistically. The flow is perfect: the ceremony seamlessly moves to the cocktail hour, and then directly into the reception. Each area has a beautiful, dedicated space, eliminating confusion while still allowing guests to wander and enjoy the grounds. There was ample space for everyone, and the staff was extremely accommodating for our wheelchair accessible needs.
We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the getting-ready spaces. The Groom's Suite was a major selling point for us! We rarely see a grooms' suite so perfectly decked out. The groom and groomsmen had so much fun playing pool, watching college football, and relaxing before the ceremony. The bridal suite is also the perfect spot to get ready, featuring plenty of space and excellent lighting/mirrors.
The staff at Keswick is also fantastic. Cindy was a joy to meet, so kind and provided great advice throughout the planning process. Alyssa was wonderful and knowledgeable in all our meetings, and she even made sure no one disturbed us while we took a private moment in the grooms' suite after the ceremony.
And finally, the Aurora tent. This reception space is INCREDIBLE, featuring a rare turf floor that truly elevates the experience. While it was in the low 50s outside, the hidden heaters made the tent so comfortable that our guests didn't even need the blankets we brought! And the dance floor is the perfect size, big enough for all of our dancing guests but not too big that it ever felt like it was empty.

We had our wedding at Keswick this past weekend and truly cannot recommend it enough. From the very first tour to picking up our decorations the day after, the entire experience was absolutely amazing.
Alyssa, the event manager, was unreal. She answered our million questions with patience and never once made us feel like we were asking too much. She was knowledgeable, kind, and played a huge role in making sure our wedding day ran seamlessly.
Cindy, the owner, was equally wonderful. She was so warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made us feel so welcome throughout the entire planning process.
Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the venue was and how great the wine tasted. We’re still in awe of how stunning the grounds are. Honestly, we wish we could get married all over again just to experience this venue one more time.

We had the most incredible experience having our wedding at Keswick Vineyards, and we cannot recommend this venue enough! From the very first moment we reached out, the staff were beyond amazing, consistently going above and beyond to make our day as perfect as possible. Throughout the entire planning process, they were incredibly responsive, always available to help with anything we needed, big or small. On the day of the wedding, the team kept everything organized, ensuring that the day flowed smoothly without a hitch. Any minor issues that came up were swiftly resolved, allowing us to enjoy every moment without any stress.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and there is truly a beautiful view around every corner—each location offering its own picturesque backdrop for photos and moments of serenity. Keswick is a no brainer for hosting your wedding. Their onsite staff helps the day to go off without a hitch (even when we had a spontaneous thunderstorm, they were ready to go with umbrellas for our guests to get to the bathroom). Our guests made several comments about how kind and attentive the staff was. Also.. just look at it! It's stunning and doesn't need excess decoration. Thank you Keswick! -

As many have noted previously, my wife and I knew Keswick Vineyards was the venue for our wedding the moment we step foot onto the property. The elegant ambiance and breathtaking scenery of the property is second to none. To start, we were given a recommended vendor list, along with some key documents to review. Grace, the coordinator at Keswick was truly amazing, she answered all of our burning questions and made sure that we were taken care of each time we visited Keswick (wine tasting, walkthrough, etc.) Grace was definitely an asset that was instrumental throughout our wedding planning, she was very helpful and often offered guidance and suggestions for everything from hotel to transportation service.
On the day of the wedding, Cindy and the Keswick team were a huge help in making the day an unforgettable experience. Every detail was flawlessly executed and the day went on seamlessly. We couldn’t have chosen a more magical place to celebrate our special day. To this day, we still have family and guests rave about how beautiful the day was.
Joanna and I are truly grateful for their hard work, dedication and commitment throughout this journey and we can’t wait to come back and visit. We highly recommend Keswick Vineyards for anyone seeking a dreamy and memorable wedding venue!!

We knew Keswick was the venue for our wedding the moment we drove onto the property. The drive through the vineyard is breathtaking no matter the season. We were initially torn between a date in August or late October. Cindy, the wonderful owner of Keswick, spent over an hour with us on the phone (before we had even signed a contract) talking through each date’s pros/cons, showing us pictures of the vineyard at the respective times, and helping us coming to our ultimate decision of October. She was so kind and patient with us as we went back and forth with our decision. Working with the Keswick team was a dream – we are not from the area, but they were able to accommodate a visit each time we were in town for us to check out the property again. We were given complimentary wine tastings when selecting the wines we’d be using for the wedding. They have a dedicated area on the property for you to bury the bourbon if it's a tradition you choose to take part in.
Grace, the event coordinator, was amazing. She was quick to answer any questions we had via email or over the phone. Cindy, the owner mentioned above, goes above and beyond to be sure your day is everything and more you would want it to be. She is subtly present the day of your wedding to make sure everything is running smoothly. She drove us and our photographer around in a golf cart during cocktail hour to make sure we found the perfect spot in the vines for golden hour. She genuinely wants your wedding to be the most special day.
The beauty of the property really speaks for itself. We were so lucky with the gorgeous weather coupled by the stunning fall scenery of the foliage and vines. We continue to have our family and friends rave about how beautiful the day was. We would choose Keswick over and over again!

You cannot beat this venue
The venue was absolutely stunning and the on-site team was 10/10!! This is an outdoor venue (though they have a beautiful backup tent), but you truly cannot beat this venue on a nice day. It was showstopping! And there are a lot of different ways you can orient your ceremony to fit your taste, which is a great feature! Cindy was incredibly helpful as well!Keswick Vineyards's reply:

The venue is absolutely beautiful and we received many compliments during and after our big day. Unlike a typical vineyard venue, the ceremony/reception area is completely separate from the tasting room, making it a very private evening, which was important to us. This also allowed us to easily book the venue for the whole day without interfering with the tasting room, which doesn't happen at other vineyards (we could also start our ceremony before 6 pm due to this setup, unlike every other vineyard we toured). Staff were easy to work with and flexible to help us with what we wanted to do. Everything was clean and the grounds look great, couldn't have asked for better scenery for us and our guests. We could not recommend Keswick Vineyards more as a winery as well as a wedding venue! After contacting several wedding venues in the Charlottesville area, the moment we started talking to Cindy at Keswick, we knew this was the venue we were destined to get married at. So much so, we booked it without visiting beforehand. We were able to do a virtual tour with Cindy, and she answered all of our many questions with great detail and assured us we would have a perfect day. We fully put our trust in the Keswick team and could not be more thankful! Once we booked with them, we received a comprehensive recommended vendors list, which we followed and couldn't be happier with the vendors we worked with. They were all very experienced with working at Keswick Vineyards, which contributed to our wedding day flowing seamlessly.
Leading up to our wedding day, we were able to visit Keswick on many occasions - to do our wine tastings for the wedding, bury the bourbon, and do our final walkthrough. Each and every time, the team was so accommodating and eager to welcome us back. Grace, the Keswick Vineyards Wedding Event Sales Manager, is extremely on top of things and worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed for our wedding and that we were comfortable with all the decisions we'd made.
The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. The venue is stunning, and minimal decorations and florals are needed to enhance the space. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was - it felt like we were in the French countryside! The way the venue is set up also helps the day flow seamlessly - from the ceremony in the front facing the vineyard, to the cocktail hour area, down to the reception tent. Everything was stunning and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect day.

Today is our one month of being married and my husband and I truly don't have the words to summarize Keswick Vineyards. We did what most couples do once they get engaged, which is to go venue shopping and nothing really popped out at us. In fact, we were about to call it quits and just get married in our backyard. Until we pulled up to Keswick Vineyards. The second we got out of our car we knew this was the one. Then we went inside and met Cindy and all the stars aligned. I can't say enough great things about how amazing she was with every single aspect of the wedding planning. She was thorough, kind, and made our vision come to life. Her team was nothing short of incredible. She encouraged us to bury the bourbon and thank goodness we did! It was supposed to rain (and yes, I called her almost in tears fearful that would happen) but she told me to believe in the bourbon and that everything would work out. Our wedding day was PERFECT and not one drop of rain, our fairytale dream came true. We wanted an outdoor wedding with a beautiful white tent and Keswick Vineyards exceeded our expectation. We were able to have our horse and carriage and our ceremony in front of their gorgeous home. From the breathtaking landscaping to the flawless getting ready rooms everything was spectacular. Don't get me started on the wine, which was to die for!!! We had Cindy, the owner, as our day-of coordinator (best decision we made) and her son was our videographer (another amazing decision) they are just the greatest people. We left feeling like we were family and I did tear up leaving the venue the day after the wedding because I was going to miss Cindy so much! I wish we could relive this day!Keswick Vineyards's reply:

Keswick was the first venue we checked out. Once we went to Keswick, all other venues really paled in comparison. The view, the scenary, the carriage house everything, blew us away. Most importantly, we were able to have our dogs with us on our special day.
Both Cindy and Lindsay were always so quick to respond to my onslaught of emails when the day was approaching. We knew we were in great hands. If there were any confusions, they were quick to clarify, and will do their best to work with you. Everyone at the wedding could not stop talking about how enchanting and mesmerizing the venue was! Everything was well taken care of, right from the start to the end. I can't thank them enough for our perfect fall wedding :)Keswick Vineyards's reply:

Perfect venue!

Had our wedding here early September. All outdoor was a bit of a gamble with the weather, but my GOD this venue is gorgeous so any bit of heat and discomfort was totally offset by the party favor fans we provided and the STUNNING BEAUTY of the venue. We couldn't be happier with our decision to get married at Keswick Vineyards. The venue was perfect for the entire day from getting ready in the bridal and grooms suites to the multiple ceremony and reception locations. Keswick was an amazing place to get married. I still have guests commenting to me on how amazing the venue was and how gorgeous. The staff at Keswick was awesome to work with and really went above and beyond. The owners are really good people. The flow of the day was perfect, the sunset even better and the reception made for a really fun night. Cocktail hour was seamless and we had the games set up in the back lawn to allow for more activity. It was so romantic at night. I had a very large bridal party (12) and all of us and even family were able to have enough space to get ready and move about before the ceremony. I don't have a single regret on choosing this as our venue. The wine was also amazing (rose especially was a hit) and its awesome we have a place to visit now for years to come. When my now husband and I walked into Keswick Vineyards we knew we had to get married there. We first met with Brian and he was super professional, nice, and informative. From there, whenever I had a question they always answered quickly and were always friendly. I loved that they let us have free tastings to taste the new vintages whenever we went to visit Charlottesville to help us decide what to get for the wedding - it just shows how much they care about their couples! On the day of Cindy, Brian and their team were soo friendly and helpful and after the fact Cindy even mailed us pictures she took of the wedding day! We really felt so loved and welcomed there. Not to mention people could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was - they still can’t and I don’t blame them! Back Home Wedding
Keswick, VA held a special place in Aaron’s heart as we began looking for venues to tie the knot. His family has a neighboring property, so it seemed only fitting to explore Keswick Vineyards as a possibility… we were amazed! The venue and home of Cindy and Al really speaks for itself, but touring with Brian brought an added layer of magic. He really took the time to make you feel like you were the only couple he was catering to and helped you see yourself getting married at Keswick Vineyards. However, my parents live out of town and we still needed their blessing. We brought them to Keswick Vineyards to tour with Brian and we did not make it halfway through the tour before my dad was on board and ready to book!
Cindy and Brian take such pride and joy in making sure all of their couples and guests have an unforgettable experience and that is transparent. Halfway through our planning process, Brian decided to explore his passions and get back to his roots of cinematography. He stole our hearts from the beginning, so we couldn’t let him get away that easily… we had to track him down to be our videographer!
The services Keswick staff provided (we believe) is unmatched by any venue around. Their communication is top notch. They provide recommendations of vendors that took the guesswork and mystery out of the search, along with the stress knowing vendors had the Schornberg seal of approval (the team dynamic between the vendors was absolutely perfect the day of the wedding!). They pay attention to the smallest of details (details we would never have thought of) to make your day even that much more memorable. We had the majority of family coming in from out of state, so Cindy and Brian provided a hotel list and airbnbs in the area. It almost felt like we had a wedding planner that came with the venue!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Keswick Vineyards and their family. We continue to hear high praises from our guests on how great of a time they had (we had a blast too!). We cannot help but to contribute a large part of that success to the environment and camaraderie the Schornberg family worked so hard to establish.
The Schornberg’s truly go the extra mile to make you feel loved and welcomed. In short, “perfection” is the one word that stands out from start to finish.

Perfect wedding day at the perfect venue for us!
Keswick Vineyards was the first wedding venue my husband and I toured. We loved it, but thought we should also look at other venues just to be sure. Well, after each tour we kept talking about how much we loved Keswick, and that is how we knew that it had the perfect blend of elegance and natural beauty that we were searching for. We knew that we wanted an outdoor wedding with multiple options for ceremony spaces, cocktail hour, and a large, gorgeous tent for the reception – Keswick has all these things and more. After a long engagement and two pandemic postponements, we were finally able to hold our wedding at Keswick this past October. We received countless compliments from our guests about how beautiful every part of the property is, and how much they enjoyed our wedding. Not only that, but co-owner, Cindy, her son, Brian, and the rest of the Keswick Vineyards team were a delight to work with. They truly accommodated all of our requests and made our wedding day feel very special. It was very clear from the beginning that the family truly cares about their couples and ensures that the whole wedding operation runs smoothly. My husband and I fell in love with Keswick Vineyards the moment we laid eyes on it, and even among the many gorgeous vineyards to choose from in the area, Keswick stood out as it combines a beautiful breathtaking views and elegance. All of our guests shared our sentiments; we heard over and over how this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Cindy and Brian were a pleasure to work with! We had to reschedule twice due to Covid and they worked with us seamlessly in changing the date each time without charging us a fee and making sure we could find a new date. Cindy obviously cares so very much in each and every one of her couples and making sure are happy. She is sweet and wonderful! Keswick allows for so many beautiful backdrops for wedding events and photos, including the gorgeous mountain view, the vineyards, fountain, the beautiful mansion, gorgeous pool, ect. We cannot recommend Keswick Vineyards, specifically Cindy (the owner and planner), enough! My husband and I originally had a June 2020 date, but because of COVID, we postponed not just once, but twice. At that time, we had Brian, Cindy’s son working with us directly, and he was amazing throughout our postponements. He never made us feel bad about our decision and was very professional with trying to make a new date work. Planning a wedding is stressful, but having to plan a wedding with COVID in mind takes on a whole new stress level. We chose Keswick as our coordinator and we could not have been happier with Cindy. She’s very organized and detail oriented which is what you want in a planner, but because she knows the venue inside and out, it made the wedding day even more stress free! All of our guests kept saying how beautiful Keswick Vineyards was and it really is beautiful. You have numerous backdrops which include a beautiful mansion, fountain, vines, trees, and mountains which is perfect for photos! Everyone at Keswick was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Our day was picture perfect and our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the venue was, even on an overcast day! They swiftly relocated the other guests to the cocktail area, moving the food and drinks up there, as to give our guests space and to not take away from the celebration for the others. Wow! Keswick Vineyards was a dream! We hired Brian as our day of coordinator and he did a fantastic job! The weather was on and off raining and he made sure we had the most perfect day! He kept checking on my fiancé and I and we had our dream ceremony in front of the fountain!! Everything went so smoothly!! If you are worried about rain with it being an outdoor venue, don’t be!! Where to start...both Brian and Cindy at Keswick made our wedding day feel like a complete fairy tale and we are so incredibly thankful for all that they did to provide us with a safe, socially distanced ceremony and reception when two other sets of wedding locations and venues/vendors cancelled on us completely during covid and gave us no options. Their property is the most beautiful vineyard I've ever been to--and I used to frequent the Sonoma/Napa area when I lived in CA--it couldn't even compare! Keswick had so much beauty to it and it was a gorgeous day weatherwise which made it even better! I don't know what we would have done if they hadn't agreed to let us have our small and intimate wedding there. We had already hit so many roadblocks prior to coming to them and will just forever be grateful for the gift they provided us with their ability to empathize and then being so so helpful during the extremely short timeframe and helping us find new vendors and getting everything together. I will never be able to put into words what it felt like to walk down the aisle on their gorgeous property with music and all of our friends and family there--it truly was magical and I felt like I was in a dream that i never wanted to end! Even our friends and families mentioned to us that they had never been to such a beautiful wedding (and this was all planned in under a few weeks)! They do a free tasting for you to pick out wines for your reception and their wine is also incredible--everyone raved about the Cab Franc and we signed up for their wine club right away and look forward to visiting in the future! Keswick was wonderful! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and private and the staff was incredible. Throughout the entire process, they were extremely helpful and responsive and very attentive on the wedding day. In addition to everything else, they took lots of pictures at no extra charge and shared them with us after, which nearly doubled the amount of photos that we had. Our photographer left before a lot of the dancing and so the photos that Keswick took allowed us to capture memories we otherwise wouldn't have. I could not recommend them any higher! -

A venue that will have you on Cloud Wine
Saying it was a dream wedding doesn’t do justice to what Keswick Vineyards was able to provide us. From our first visit, my wife’s teared up eyes said it all. After 10+ tours across Richmond and Charlottesville, we knew this was “the one.”
Throughout the entire planning process and day of coordination, the team at Keswick went above and beyond to deliver on their promise to us. I would say we are pretty good planners, but we would have never expected the level of detail that a venue could offer us and provide an experience that was enjoyable and one to be excited about. This is a family business, and it comes across in everything they do. And trust me, it comes across to your guests as well. With roughly 125 guests, mainly from out of town, they were WOWed by the beauty of Keswick Vineyards and experienced a true destination wedding tucked away in Central Virginia.
We highly recommend this venue for your wedding 😊 And it doesn’t hurt that they have amazing wine too! We are now wine members and enjoy coming back to visit their tasting room. Their staff is always kind, considerate and go out of their way to make you feel special. Having our wedding at Keswick, I feel like we are partners in wine and joined an amazing family who hold a special place in their hearts for Keswick Vineyards.

And both during the lead up and on the big day itself, Brian and his team perfectly balanced being attentive to our needs while having a "light touch" so that we could enjoy the perfect day that it was. And they gave us great recommendations for vendors and guidance during our planning process.

Beautiful venue - loved it!
Keswick was our dream venue, and we were so happy we chose it! The views and gorgeous tent, along with access to the awesome carriage house, make Keswick particularly special. Not to mention, we love their wine (worth becoming a gold member for the discounts)! Our guests still rave about the views almost a year later. I will say that we found the cost a bit high though not unreasonable for the area and the industry. There were a lot of additional charges for things along the way that could be included given how high the rental fee is (even some of our vendors were surprised by the additional charges for items onsite like the pergola, extra wine barrels, shepherds hooks, etc), but this is something we found to be the case throughout the wedding planning process and in the end, it was all worth it. They are also very up-front about what's included and what's not, and it was helpful to not have to go through another vendor for those items.
Cindy and Colleen were sweet and helpful - even though we had a friend doing our day-of coordination, Cindy's expertise and experience helped ensure everything went perfectly, including watching the weather for us (every rainstorm went right around us - that mountain is magical). Since we were planning our wedding from DC, it was tough to make visits during the week and while it was clear this was not ideal, they were willing to work with us on that.
We have no regrets and are glad we picked a venue we can keep coming back to visit to relive all the happy memories.Keswick Vineyards's reply:

I switched a couple of things up last minute and they were on top of it all, making the transitions unnoticeable. The venue is absolutely breathtaking! The beautiful Blueridge mountains backdrop the already gorgeous view of the rolling vineyards. Their sail tent, no matter how elaborate or simple you decorate it, is so romantic and a fantastic way to bring an outdoor ceremony out of the elements. I can't think of any other word to use to describe our day but "perfect" and that is all thanks to the KV team. They went above and beyond. I wish everyone could experience a day as perfect as ours. If you choose Keswick Vineyards, you will not be disappointed.

The team at Keswick was extremely pleasant to work with and were so kind and gracious to us, going the extra mile to make our day special.
Between the picturesque vineyard views and the gorgeous outdoor tent, that is perfectly set up to cater to events (with the perfect bar area, dance floor, lighting, etc), we absolutely made the right choice in hosting our Indian wedding and ceremony there! We are so thankful to the Keswick Vineyards team. We highly recommend hosting your wedding there.

Sasha Sent on 10/26/2017I can't rave enough about Keswick Vineyards. My day was everything I wished for and a million times more. Seeing the venue during the daytime in no way does any justice to how beautiful it is during sunset or at night time- which made our day all the more special. I strongly recommend getting bistro lights for the tent, and we also added Chandeliers. Barb Wired was our wedding planner, who made the day Seamless!

Keswick was actually the only venue we ever visited, and booked it shortly thereafter. Their Special Events Coordinator, Angelica, is responsive, helpful, and super sweet. The property itself is beautiful and the wedding package they offer is an amazing value for what they include. We are very much looking forward to our wedding day at Keswick in a few short months!
