THIS WEDDING WAS ONE OF THE BEST THAT I HAVE BEEN TO!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

The Kent Manor Inn did a "first class job", very elegant. We held the wedding at the church so only used the site -- The Garden House --for the reception. Part of the package includes the bridal suite for the bride and groom for their wedding night. Their event coordinator - Ashley - was wonderful thoughout the process. The location is absolutely beautiful, combining the charm of historic Maryland with the charm of the water. The grounds include a small bridge and a dock in addition to the historic manor house. All of which are available for pictures. Our photographers took some incredible pictures. The reception was a plated dinner for 100 people in the Garden House. It was a nice fit, too many more and it would have been crowded. We personally met with the chef several months earlier and he worked with us to create a custom menu at a reasonable price. The presentation of the food was wonderful and everyone said the food tasted great. At our request they put a cold basket of food in the bridal suite for the bride and groom to eat after the reception.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Kent Manor! The staff including Ashley, Danielle, and Ann were absolutely amazing! Our wedding was pretty much perfect and I can't thank them enough. We planned our wedding from 2 states away and they made it seamless. We are looking forward to heading back up for our anniversary next year!

I am so incredibly glad I chose KMI as my wedding venue. It is affordable and absolutely beautiful. It was everything I could have dreamed of. I was married by the water and had my reception at the garden house, which is my favorite part of the venue. The staff is phenomenal. The food was incredible and we were VERY pleased with the options at our price point, which wasn't on the higher end. You will not regret having your wedding here! You also get a nights stay at the inn, which is an incredible added bonus!

From start to finish Kent Island Resort has been professional, great communication everything start to finish. So flexible they allowed us to visit on Mothers Day when they were hosting an event and still made us feel as thought we were a priority. I cant stop sharing with people our venue!

First and foremost, I want to thank Ashley, Danielle and the rest of the wonderful Kent Manor staff for their TREMENDOUS, continuous help with planning and coordinating our wedding, from beginning to end.

My husband and I had seen nearly 10 venues in the DC area before we made our way across the Bay Bridge to Kent Manor. We had spent our first Valentine's Day there three years prior, and when we visited Kent Manor again, I just knew we'd have to get married there. The venue is wonderfully maintained; the waterfront location is quaint and intimate; and the garden house provided the most romantic setting for our wedding reception. After looking through other venues' contracts and packages, we were also very grateful that Kent Manor was so accommodating and willing to work with us on personalizing our menus, etc.

Despite the rain on the morning of our wedding, Kent Manor worked seamlessly to move our outdoor ceremony indoors and the rest of the day went so smoothly! It's been nearly three months since the wedding and our guests still rave about how delicious the food was, and how great and accommodating the staff and rooms were at Kent Manor. Friends and family also loved taking photos on the venue's spacious, beautiful grounds at sunset.

The great thing about Kent Manor is their staff - everyone was always so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, as well as patient. My husband and I are so grateful and happy that we decided to get married at Kent Manor - it was such a wonderful experience and day to remember, and we know we will be back to celebrate our anniversary often in the future!

Ashley and the entire team at Kent Manor were simply wonderful. They made our special day stress-free. The food is FANTASTIC, the scenery beautiful, and the atmosphere intimate. What more could you ask for?

Kent Manor Inn was fantastic! Easy to communicate with and always available to answer any questions. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Very accommodating and flexible- KMI was always willing to go the extra mile. I would highly recommend this venue.

From the moment I met Ashley and Danielle, they walked me through the property and answered any questions I had with such a calming, un-rushed attitudes. Throughout the year, they were very timely with replying to my emails, the chef prepared our food with the changes I made without a problem, and the staff at the Inn made me feel like a true queen during my stay there. The staff were quick on their feet the day of the wedding with the last minute changes we had to make because of the rain, they made my guests feel welcome and escorted them with umbrellas into the Garden room. Throughout our picture-taking, we had a few people that butlered food and drinks to us, and throughout the night both my husband and I were catered to.
Danielle set up all my of DIY decorations and utilized the decorations from the outside, in the garden room since the ceremony was moved inside. And the next day all the decorations were packed up and ready for us to take home. I can't wait to go back and celebrate our one year anniversary with them!

This venue was everything that we could have asked for and more! Ashley and Kelley were very quick to answer any questions we had in the planning process as well as the day of. We had a buffet for dinner and the food was AMAZING. Cudos to the Chef for the fantastic Salmon and Chicken, I would recomend this place to anyone!

Ashley and her crew were outstanding and i highly recomend them to everyone ! My favorite part was how faithful the catering staff was to serving us drinks and food during the photos ! I had requested that some food and drinks be brought over, since we would miss most of the cocktail hour doing photos. The staff was wonderful in continually bringing over food and drinks for everyone, and even following us as we changed photo shoot locations ! Our bridal party was VERY appreciative !

AMAZING! Our daughters wedding was spectacular!!! We enjoyed every moment of it. This venue is gorgeous, the food is great, the staff is wonderful and especially Ashley, the wedding planner, she accomodated our every need. Three weeks prior to the wedding we realized that the "Ride Across America" was happening the same day and would shut down the Bay Bridge to normal traffic for at least an hour, which happened to be the same hour of my daughters wedding. Ashley helped us to set up accomodations for guest arriving alot earlier as to avoid the bridge closure. Coffee, tea, cookies, water whatever we asked for she provided. Not one guest was delayed because of the closure and the willingness of Kent Manor to accomodate them. Just cant say enough good things, but Thank you for the beautiful memories.

I highly recommend choosing Kent Manor for your wedding venue. There are so many beautiful places to get married on Kent Island, but the thing that sets Kent Manor apart (besides the comfy Inn setting, the scenic view, and the charming grounds) is the service and attention you'll receive throughout the process. Ashley is fantastic to work with. She'll help create the perfect (and insanely delicious) menu for your guests (including dealing flawlessly with a gluten-free bride and a vegetarian mother-of-the-bride). Tia, also, was INVALUABLE to have as our go-to point person from day one. She is incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares. I am insanely detail-oriented, and Tia was so patient, kind, fun, and easy to work with. I don't exaggerate when I say that she made sure every detail was taken care of, and she did it all with a smile on her face. I couldn't be happier with our choice of Kent Manor.

I could not have been happier with the Kent Manor Inn. From the beginning of planning our wedding through wedding weekend, it was perfect. The night before our wedding, a hurricane came through unexpectedly, and there was a lot of debris and we lost power for hours on my wedding day. The Kent Manor Inn never skipped a beat, cleaned it up and brought in generators for us to get ready. The staff is amazing and the venue is beautiful! Anyone is lucky to get married at the Kent Manor Inn!
*Suggestion - have your guests stay there too. We had all of the rooms rented out from my side and it was a celebration all weekend!

Very friendly and cooperative staff. Couldn't do enough for us. We stayed the entire weekend of our event, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable time for all.

We had a wonderful experience using the Historic Kent Manor Inn for our wedding reception! The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. They were always friendly and happy to answer questions. The venue is absolutely beautiful! It was decorated for Christmas and looks amazing in photographs. Our guests commented on what a beautiful setting we had. We all loved the intimate setting of the round room and the openness with all the windows. The food was delicious; the cocktail hour food display was amazing. During the wedding, the wait staff was extremely attentive to my elderly grandparents and even brought them appetizers, so they did not have to get up. Working with Ashley and Danielle was a great experience! I highly recommend this venue for a wedding!

We had out wedding at Kent Manor on 10/11/15. We chose the venue more out of fate, but also based on their reviews in 2013, and believe it was worth it. Our boss found this venue before we were engaged, and we met at work. Let's just say the cards fell into place for us. Ashley worked with us for 2 years to plan our perfect wedding. Towards the end we had so many changes with Guest List, Ashley was very accommodating. Tounley (sp?) was awesome the day of! I was a DIY bride and she put all my hard work for 2.5 yrs (long engagement :) ) and built my dream wedding. As my dad said, I had been planning it for 27 years, and she made it a dream come true for me. The day of was a circus and the one thing I didn't have to worry about was wedding planning. She took care of every need. We had a cake snafoo where someone knocked our toss bouquet into the cake. Let's just say the cake was worth way more than the flowers. When she found out about it, she adjusted the cake so no one would see, took it away, fixed it herself, and it reappeared at the cake table in time for our cutting. Pure amazing! I also had a bad stomach ache (part nerves part bad rehearsal dinner choices) and she brought gingerale to my and new husband when I was getting fresh air. She was so attentive to details, it made the entire day perfect. I probably should mention the food. You should book this place, first for the food! I wish our tasting, cocktail hour, and dinner was longer with more courses. It was delicious, flavorful, and not a dry piece of meat. Did I mention most guests plates were empty when it came time for cleanup? Except for mine since there was no room in my dress to fit more food. If you want a perfect wedding on the Eastern Shore, especially in the fall, book Kent Manor!

We stayed here the night before our wedding and used the room for the bridal party to get ready and then take wedding photos later that day. The property was beautiful and we loved our stay. It was relaxing and the staff was great.

We had our wedding at the United States Naval Academy Chapel and the reception at the Kent Manor Inn. The Kent Manor Inn's staff did a tremendous job making our day perfect! We were so impressed with the venue that we changed our wedding date to accommodate the date they had left in their schedule. Ashley, the catering manager, worked closely with our family to answer any questions we had during the planning process. Since my father lives overseas, she communicated with the both of us to make sure everything went smoothly as the date got closer. Ashley was flexible with her time, allowing me to bring my floral designer in for a final run through and offering suggestions when she saw fit. The staff that administered our "tasting" made us feel at home and impressed my parents, the hardest part!

My bridesmaids and I got ready in the bridal suite and it was heavenly! The cozy room was exactly the feel we were going for- it was so convenient to just be able walk right up the stairs after the reception and relax in such a beautiful room.

Danielle kept everyone on track the day of the wedding! I did not have to worry about a thing and she dealt with all the behind-the-scene details with such grace. She effectively communicated with all of my "day of" vendors, making it possible for family members to be worry-free and truly enjoy every moment of the day!

We had family and friends travel from all over the world to attend our wedding. Many guests noted that is was the most beautiful and enjoyable wedding they had ever been to! The food was astonishing! The staff was friendly, and the venue was breathtaking. Special things to note: We did a "day-after-brunch" and numerous friends and family enjoyed the delicious spread of food the Kent Manor had to offer. Again, they worked with our requests and were able to make the experience warm and enjoyable. Plus, there is plenty of parking!!!

This place is pricy, but you get what you pay for: Quality.

I would just like to thank Ashley and Danielle for their help in making our wedding day perfect! The entire staff at Kent Manor was a pleasure to work with and I can not say enough good things about everyone! We also held our rehearsal dinner there the day before the wedding and a private Sunday brunch after the wedding as we had many people stay overnight. The food was amazing, all of our requests were met and the staff just handled everything. Danielle made sure the wedding day was absolutely perfect and if there was ever an issue, I never knew about it. Ashley worked with us and our budget and along with the chef was able to give us what we wanted and it was reasonable compared to many other venues we worked with. We had a small wedding and some venues would not even speak to us because they had high minimums, etc, but Kent Manor treated us as if we has a guest count of 300! Kent Manor was the perfect choice for our wedding. It was very intimate, personable, and beautiful! Can not wait to return to another Sunday brunch in the near future! Thank you again!!

This was the perfect spot for our wedding. It is on the water with a beautiful pier. The garden house was the right size for our wedding. The food was amazing and the staff was very nice. What a great time.

We got married at Kent Manor on Sept. 26, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff at Kent Manor goes above and beyond to accommodate you and make you feel at ease. No detail is too small and no ask is too big. Ashley does a fantastic job of making you feel calm and at ease on the day of your wedding. She and her staff take care of all the setup -- everything from pictures to signs to seating charts -- and never once did I worry something was going to go wrong. They are on top of everything.
The food is also outstanding. We had several guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had, and people were still talking about it weeks after. The bar was well stocked and the bartenders and other staff were happy to do whatever was needed to ensure all the guests were enjoying themselves, which has not always been the case at other weddings we have attended.
The grounds and Garden House are well maintained and the pictures from our ceremony are just beautiful. We also filled the entire inn full of our guests, and Kent Manor made sure each one was accommodated -- including switching rooms up to the day of for older guests who couldn't do stairs.
I really wanted a small wedding venue where you were the priority, and that was exactly what I got. The staff at Kent Manor made our day perfect and stress free and I highly recommend it.

This wedding venue is great all around. The staff, views and execution was spectacular. Our day was perfect in every aspect and I would recommend this venue to other brides. My husband and I and our guests will remember this perfect day forever and a big portion of the credit goes to Kent Island Resort.

We loved everything about this venue. Being able to have the ceremony, reception, and lodging in the same location was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. They catered to everything we needed and made the wedding day stress free for us.
