  An amazing photographer and human being

  Kelsey is an absolutely amazing photographer and human being. Our wedding was originally scheduled for April 2020 which of course did not happen due to COVID, and we tried to reschedule it several times but bad things kept happening to us including our first baby being stillborn, so it was a super long and dragged out process to finally get the wedding in the books. Kelsey was not only patient and responsive throughout the almost 2 year planning process, but she also helped us out with other things, like recommendations for a spa to get a gift card to thank our amazing planner.
  
  We came down to Santa Barbara for a weekend a couple months before the wedding, to meet our vendors and scope things out, and Kelsey provided a TON of input and guidance on places to do our First Look and other photos. She was just so amazingly helpful and kind.
  
  But where her kindness really shone through was on our wedding day. She went SO FAR above and beyond to give us the special day she felt we deserved after all our loss (we also had an 11 week miscarriage 8 months after our first baby was stillborn, and my mom was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in the height of our grief). She truly wanted our day to be as perfect as possible and she really delivered.
  
  My husband and I are both pretty shy, awkward people so we were super nervous for the photoshoot as we hate people looking at us and being the center of attention. Not only did Kelsey (and our wonderful videographer Jennie from Riviera Productions) make us feel completely at ease, but somehow, magically, she actually made it fun?!?!? Taking the photos between the ceremony and the reception was the most fun part of our wedding day, we had a blast and the photos are absolutely BREATHTAKING. Like straight out of a magazine. I don't know how she did it but she made everything look so beautiful and we could not be more thrilled with the photos.
  
  We knew she was good, because I'm the type of person who reads a million reviews and does a ton of research before I book anything or go anywhere, but Kelsey is next level. The photos are far better than anything we could have ever imagined.
  
  Even though we live in the Bay Area, we will be using Kelsey as our family photographer forever. She is worth 9 hours in the car round trip. Heck, I'd drive days to see her! If you're trying to decide who to book, stop wasting your time wading through reviews and just book Kelsey already. She is fantastic and we feel so, so, so fortunate to know her.

  So hands down Kelsey is the BEST photographer in the Santa Barbara area! I may be biased since she captured the most gorgeous photos from my husband and our wedding day at the Fess Parker this June, but honestly, she is the best.
  
  Our initial contact, I immediately knew that I wanted KELSEY, because I knew we would click, and we did! She met us when we came down to SB for a visit, as we don't live in the area, and gave me SO many recommendations, including my videographer, sweetheart cake, Flowers! Honestly, I credit her for the amazing vendors!
  
  Each photo is gorgeous and I would not have changed anything! She's so generous and provided my husband with some special stuff out of the kindness of her heart.

  We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelsey. She was so friendly and helpful and truly went above and beyond to capture our big day. The photos exceeded our expectations and were absolutely stunning. She takes her job very seriously and is a dedicated photographer and it shows! We highly recommend her services!!

  I can't say enough positive things about Kelsey! Lucky for me, I attended a bridal event and I won an engagement photo session from her! At the mention of how much I love all things Disney, this unbelievably sweet woman was more than willing to go down to Disneyland and shot out engagement photos in my dream location! She is so much fun to work with and I've gotten so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. I felt so bad that it was such a big gap of time in between the engagement photos and us actually getting married, but I never once doubted that I would be booking her for our wedding! Her work is phenomenal and the cherry on top is that she's a fun person to be around. She handles herself with graceful professionalism and goes above and beyond for her clients. Trust me when I say that there is no way on earth that you will feel any level of disappointment with Kelsey Crews Photo!!

  Wedding pictures are really what's left after your wedding so they should look like the memories you want to save after the fun and exciting day is over. Some people want to see everyone who came, some people just want the pictures of themselves as bride and groom, and I wanted to really capture the fun, happiness, and love.
  
  So after looking for some time for pictures that really had a "feel" that I wanted I found Kelsey, and she really made sense of what I was looking for in my photos. She worked with me before hand and had great insights and ideas while also making sure the elements I wanted photographed weren't missed. Her and her husband were so great to have around that day and paid attention to every detail that made our wedding special and were sure to capture it.
  
  Kelsey is so easy to work with, very responsive, and such a joy to work with! I also can't get enough compliments on the photos!

  Working with Kelsey (and her partner Mike as a second shooter) was the perfect choice. You make a lot of decisions when planning a wedding that you can worry about. After our engagement shoot, we were 100% certain that hiring Kelsey was the best possible decision we could have made and there was nothing to worry about. She was professional, creative, encouraging, enthusiastic and fun. Most importantly, the shots were breathtaking works of art. I think that seeing ourselves through her lens actually made us a happier, more confident couple at the wedding.
  
  Sure enough, our wedding roll is stunning, and the wedding party and families really enjoyed working with Kelsey as well. Our wedding was outdoors, and about 20 minutes before it ended, long after we stopped even thinking about photos, she pulled us away for a quick shot she had spent considerable time setting up using the outdoor lights at the venue. She could've been relaxing at that point, but instead she put together a beautiful scene that turned out to be the shot of the wedding. Kelsey is now helping us design a large-scale print to show it off in our home.
  
  Without reservation, we recommend hiring Kelsey.

  Kelsey was so wonderful to work with from the beginning. She made us feel so comfortable from the start with our engagement photos. We had a wonderful time with her and were really looking forward to working with her on our big day. Her level of excitement and enthusiasm really kept our own enthusiasm and excitement going, especially through the hustle and bustle of the wedding day. She was open to our ideas and suggestions and had plenty of wonderful ideas of her own. We were so happy with the photos that we got from her and we are looking forward to the wedding album!

  The only thing we loved more than working with Kelsey Crews Photo was all of our beautiful photos. Kelsey was friendly, responsive, easy to work with and a lot of fun.   Kelsey was wonderful to work with on so many levels. She is warm and positive and extremely calm - which is exactly what you need on your wedding day. I have a degree in photography so Kelsey had to deal with my many MANY opinions; she was so flexible and took all my requests into consideration. The end result is a phenomenal and unique batch of wedding pictures that we love! Couldn't have been happier with her and her work!!

  Kelsey completely exceeded our expectations! She is professional, down to earth, warm, and was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process!
  She really captured the essence of the day beautifully, as well as the sublime backdrop of Napa Valley.
  We had so many incredible shots to choose from, and she made a slideshow that we both adore!

  Kelsey is amazing! She has a great energy, lots of ideas and takes gorgeous photos! She is so easy to work with and communicate with. She gives great ideas before the event and is very responsive to any questions. She photographed my wedding last year and I couldn't be happier with our photos!

From the day I sent her an inquiry about her services until the last time we saw her on our wedding day as we drove away--she was genuine, professional and just an amazing person to work with. I was very worried about our pictures looking staged, or awkward--but when Kelsey delivered our engagement pictures I was shocked!!!! I absolutely LOVED our pictures!!!! Kelsey was extremenly flexible driving around with us to the locations we had selected and she seeemd very upbeat and excited about what we were doing. On our wedding day, we felt like she was an old friend of ours who was taking pictures because we felt so comfortable with her after doing our engagement photos that everything just felt natural. Kelsey delivers the pictures in a short time-frame which is unheard of, and the details of the packaging and presentation is just an extra bonus (I'm talking about the CD the pictures are on--details, details!). All of our guests commented on how great our photographer was on capturing those "moments" that you just can't stage...we feel incredibly lucky that we had Kelsey as our wedding photographer.   I am camera shy which is why i immediately booked Kelsey for our wedding. I didn't even shop around because I knew we would only have our wedding album after the day was over. Kelsey is really comfortable, relaxed, and a lot of fun. Her enthusiasm is contagious!! Kelsey made our wedding look better than I remember! Even our guests mentioned how great our photographer was.
  

  I am camera shy which is why i immediately booked Kelsey for our wedding. I didn't even shop around because I knew we would only have our wedding album after the day was over. Kelsey is really comfortable, relaxed, and a lot of fun. Her enthusiasm is contagious!! Kelsey made our wedding look better than I remember!   I couldn't have asked for anything more. Up at the crack of dawn with me to not miss a single shot. Beautiful pictures too. Every precious moment was caught. Amazing!

  Kelsey is AMAZING!!! She did such a fabulous job capturing our special day. She knew exactly what we would want, without us having to tell her. She really captured the feeling of the day and the love and excitement is palpable in all of the photos. Her professionalism, and positive, go with the flow attitude made her so easy to work with. So many people have looked at our wedding album and said they wished they had used her! It is no surprise that so many of our friends and family have now used Kelsey and continue to recommend her to their friends. It's now 5 years since our wedding, and Kelsey has been there to capture both of our boys as newborns and will continue to be our family photographer for all of our momentous occasions!

She was totally open to our suggestions and directions, but at the same time was always quick with suggestions to make a shot better. That was exactly what we were hoping for from a photographer.   I got married this past June and used Kelsey as my photographer. Kelsey is simply amazing, she makes the day super easy and relaxing. She is easy to work with and makes everyone feel comfortable. Her attitude is fun and relaxed. I gave her a list of photos to get at my wedding and she made sure to get them all. I would definitely recommend her!
