Kelly took my fiancée's and my engagement photos in January 2023. We were both super nervous -- we had never had professional photos taken and can be awkward in front of a camera -- but Kelly put us immediately at ease. She helped at every step of the way, even consulting on our outfits and my makeup to ensure we were dressed in a way that would translate well to photographs. She also made the process playful and fun.
Our session with Kelly was one of the first she shot with a manual camera (as opposed to the automatic digital cameras most photographers used). It was clearly a complex process for her -- and one only someone absolutely in love with photography would ever commit to! -- but the photos turned out amazingly. The colors were brighter, clearer, and more vibrant than I could have ever imagined.
I am so grateful to Kelly and happy to have found her work online. Were we not getting married in another country with a near-impossible visa process for wedding photographers, we would hire her for our wedding in an instant!! I truly could not recommend her more highly. -

Hire kelly!
Kelly is an incredible photographer, professional, and person. She was the most organized vendor that we had the pleasure of working with (by a LOT!), which made the entire process easy and great. For our engagement shoot and the wedding itself, her photos are simply stunning! We wanted photos that were vibrant, colorful, and full of joy. She nailed it. She has wonderful energy, a kind heart, and a steady demeanor under stress. We highly, highly recommend Kelly! -

When we moved our wedding because of Covid, we needed to find a new photographer for our November 2021 wedding. Our planner recommended Kelly and we immediately clicked! She understood exactly what we were looking for and when we met her the day of the wedding, she immediately made us comfortable. She did a fantastic job capturing all the moments and the feeling of our wedding really came through. We were also excitedly surprised to receive all our pictures ahead of schedule. Truly can't recommend her enough! -

DREAM Wedding Photographer!
Kelly is the most wonderful person to work with. She delivered the most stunning photos and brought the most contagious, joyous energy to every call, meeting, photoshoot, and event. My partner and I cannot sing her praises enough! Her brand is one of efficiency, fun, and authenticity. Wedding planning is a big endeavor, but every aspect that involved Kelly always felt really great. She is the perfect balance between the vendor that listens to what YOU want and also reminds folks of what they may need (as we often can miss these things in the big planning process). Especially as a queer couple, Kelly made us feel like we could be completely ourselves and delivered the most beautiful, candid photos that made our perfect day feel like it truly will last a lifetime. Oh, and the best engagement shoot we could have dreamt up too! You truly couldn't hire a better pro. -

I’m almost not sure where to start on describing how amazing Kelly was as our wedding photographer. From being accommodating and transparent through a global pandemic, to giving us the most amazing wedding pictures we could ever imagine. One of the best things I thought about Kelly’s business is that all packages must include an engagement shoot. It gave us not only time to get used to being photographed, but also used to the way she works, terms shes uses, etc. Kelly’s personality makes everyone involved feel more comfortable and excited about every second of the day. We got all of our photos from engagement to wedding day wayyy faster than we expected and they were every bit as perfect as we hoped. If you’re having a wedding in DC/NY/NJ we highly recommend talking to Kelly! -

Kelly is an amazing photographer and was a really fun addition to our wedding! From the beginning of the wedding planning process, she was attentive and helpful in making sure that we would have great photographs to last a lifetime. Early on, she scheduled an engagement photoshoot for us (which we hadn't initially planned) in order to get to know us as a couple and what kinds of photos we liked. The pictures from that day are superb! She then followed up with us throughout the planning, making sure to know which moments throughout the day we wanted to capture. When she learned that we would be holding two separate events just before the ceremony (tisches), she made sure to bring a second photographer along so that both events would be equally captured. During the wedding itself, Kelly and her partner were totally unobtrusive -- I never felt like a camera was in my face or in the way of anything. At the same time, she even made a last-minute suggestion (to hold our simcha dancing outside the tent rather than inside) because she thought both the photos and the experience would be better -- and she was totally right! The pictures from the day are excellent and truly capture the joy we felt. I highly recommend Kelly's services for your wedding! -

We hired Kelly last year as our photographer for our (now postponed) March 2020 wedding. Right from the start, Kelly has been nothing but sweet, helpful and thorough in all of her thoughts and questions. We wound up having two engagement photo sessions as we chased cherry blossom blooms, and had a beautiful sunset session in the Central Park conservatory. Our photos came out extraordinarily beautiful, and everyone marveled at how gorgeous our save the dates were when we sent them out with our photos on them. When we had to postpone, our biggest consideration was Kelly's availability-- she has been such an instrumental part of our engagement journey, and we couldn't imagine not having her with us the day of. It was the biggest relief when it turned out she had our new date available! She continues to be a strong support, always offering her expertise and kindness. My fiancée and I could not recommend her highly enough! -

Kelly, and her wife Natalie, are THE BEST!!! Everything from their flexibility on our engagement shoot location, to her sneak-peek photos and slideshow after our wedding, and the completely STUNNING images she captured of our wedding day was just PERFECT. We have received nothing but compliments on her photography so far and we don't even have the full album yet.
Kelly is a delight to work with and clearly loves her job. We felt completely comfortable following all of her terrific directions, and learned that earning her exclamation of "Ugh, so cute. BARF!" is the highest possible praise we could get, and resulted in some particularly incredible shots of us laughing together throughout the day. Kelly is a phenomenal person and photographer who was able to truly capture our personalities and the joy of our guests. -
Rachel Sent on 11/02/2017As the dancing subisided from during our wedding, Kelly grabbed us to take pictures with the sunset. We kicked off our shoes and walked down the breakwater at Lighthouse Point, occasionally wading in the surf. To get these shots, Kelly hiked up her dress and marched into the sea, risking the waves toppling her, ruining her dress, and destroying her expensive camera equipment. She did all of this while a roving band of five year olds threw pebbles at her. If this does not convince you that Kelly is the greatest photographer ever, you don't deserve her :)

Laura Sent on 12/02/2014I found Kelly two years before even being engaged because I ran into a beautiful wedding picture on the internet and it happened to be hers (of course!). I knew since then that if and when I got married, Kelly would be our photographer - even though, yes she was in CT and we were in PA. We loved Kelly from our initial meeting via Skype - she is organized, professional, creative and all around a great person to work with. Kelly has a perfect timeline that explains what happens when and on the day of the wedding she helped us not worry about the actual times and events (she took my phone and watch away :). We simply cannot say enough about what a great experience working with Kelly was. Our multicultural, multiple faiths, bi-lingual, gay wedding was beautifully documented and we will be looking for opportunities/occasions to work with her again soon! -

Her friendly, quirky, relatable personality put us instantly at ease which helped us be relaxed and comfortable for engagement and wedding photos. It felt like having a good friend around, so we were natural and relaxed. Kelly's artistic eye is incredible, but at the same time, the photos are more about YOU than about showcasing her style and talent. Our photos are gorgeous and everything we wanted. Kelly was great at guiding us where we needed advice while pulling from us our own preferences and wishes. I can't recommend her enough. -

Jacquetta Sent on 03/30/2011Beyond talented and very down to earth, Kelly has such a beautiful aesthetic and is not afraid to get down and dirty for her perfect shot.
She is a joy to work with and made us feel so comfortable, relaxed and beautiful. She also shot our engagement photos and upon our first meeting we felt like we were hanging out with a friend we've known for years rather than someone we just met. Very nice personality.
She is extremely flexible and wants only the best photos, and she will get them. While being accommodating, she is still very honest and will let you know what will and will not work and how we can get the shots that she needs and her clients will love. Her number one priority is amazing photos/happy clients.
Will be our go to photographer for life!

Jamie Sent on 08/20/2009Kelly has an amazing talent and creative eye for photography! I have worked with her on several occasions, most recently a boudoir session as a gift for my hubby! The photos were STUNNING! She got the best shots and was full of ideas on poses and angles. I highly recommend Kelly and Film Noir for any type of photography! You can tell this girl lives and breathes her work! She's super fun to be around and you'll definitely love your photos! Thank you soooo much Kelly!!!! : ) -

Cynthia Sent on 05/17/2009Kelly was AWESOME!!! She is truly in love with her work and it shows it. She was very flexaible, and had great ideas for photos. My husband and I are not one to really pose for pictures. Our best pictures are captured in the moment and thats exactly Kellys style. Her pricing is a deal...She was with me from start to finish..930am to 8pm. She is there with her partner who also was great and helped out and shared her ideas which was great for Kelly. I have already recommended her to two other people who will be married this year. No questions asked she went above and beyond...I am a pregnant and will be contacting her for some pregnancy/baby photos.
