Kelly is truly everything we could have dreamed of in a photographer and more. She not only captured every beautiful detail, but how we FELT at our wedding, which is exactly what we wanted and why we can't stop looking at our photos! What makes Kelly a cut above the rest is her ability to spot those candid moments you'll want to look back on, like my dad carrying my dress into the bridal suite, our flower girl sitting on her grandma's lap during the ceremony, and my mom and mother-in-law laughing together at cocktail hour. She's also just so much fun and easy to be around - some of my favorite memories are taking our sunset and second look photos with Kelly. We took most of our photos before our ceremony and had a tight timeline, but Kelly never once made us feel rushed and kept right on schedule. She also researched our venue in advance and arrived early to scout out every photo-worthy location, and she really took the inspo pics we shared with her into account. I didn't even realize she had taken so many of our inspo photos until we got them back!
I could go on and on, but if you want to feel your absolute best on your wedding day, Kelly is your girl! -

The first time we hopped on a call with Kelly, I knew she’d be capturing pictures on our special day. Right off the bat she listened to our ideas, was so sweet, and most importantly she was down to being stuck in traffic to shoot our sunset engagement pictures at the Santa Monica Pier. We met her there for the first time and she was amazing at directing us and making us feel like we were the only ones on that pier (when there could’ve easily been hundreds of people around us) … and I will admit that was one of my fears! But everything ran smoothly, we all laughed, enjoyed that beach breeze, and most importantly got beautiful pictures.
On our wedding day, I couldn’t be more grateful for Kelly’s patience. She’s just always ready to get some amazing pics and in such great spirit and vibe, which is such a relief especially on a day like this. And a huge thank youuuu for creating a timeline for that day. That helped us out so much!
My now husband Ryan and I are so grateful for these beautiful pictures that will live on forever.
Can’t wait for our next shoot together, maybe future baby pics?! 😊😊

It was amazing
Kelly came recommended by a mutual friend and it was the best recommendation by far for my wedding. She worked around mine and my husbands extremely difficult work schedules to make an engagement photo shoot happen. She even got in the water during our engagement shoot! She is always so sweet, professional, and so easy to work with. Would respond to any question I had. I would recommend her to anyone I know getting married or even personal photos! -

We connected with Kelly via our day of coordinator services, and we are beyond grateful for the recommendation! In fact, we haven't even received our complete wedding photos--sneak peek only!--and I'm already writing a review because we loved working with her so much. Kelly was warm, energetic, and responsive from the start. My partner and I really wanted to make it to our cocktail hour, and Kelly worked with our day of coordinator to adjust the timeline and ensure that we were able to maximize time with our guests. She even showed up earlier than we had booked her for on our wedding day to scope out places for our first look and take a few extra photos of details that I hadn't even planned for. She was fun, enthusiastic, and a great hype woman during all our photos. We've only seen our sneak peek, but we loved the moments she captured, from wedding details we didn't get to appreciate to fun candids of our guests. What I appreciated most about working with Kelly was how responsive she was over both email and text and how receptive she was to our ideas and making them work! Such a DREAM wedding photographer!
Kelly was the most perfect wedding photographer I could have imagined. She worked with us for our wedding at the Westlake Village Inn, and she absolutely nailed all of our photographer hopes and dreams. She was SO easy to work with and knew exactly what she was doing. She helped me map out my timeline, coordinate the day and made sure things were moving according to schedule, and ensured I was looking AND feeling good the whole time! She was the best wedding day hype woman! I didn't have any sort of stress or worry when it came to the coordination of the day, adhering to our timeline, or wondering if our photos would turn out well. Having Kelly as our photographer was a vital part to our wedding day! She is not only hard-working, punctual, and dedicated to her work, but she is also kind, goes above and beyond your expectations, and becomes your friend! She takes all the necessary steps to ensure all photos turn out amazing. She really impressed me as she arrived early on her own time to the venue to scope out great areas to take pictures. Honestly, I was really thankful for Kelly when the timeline for the day started to run off course as some things took longer than expected and she navigated the situation perfectly, keeping me (the bride) as calm as possible. If it wasn’t for her, I feel like things would have totally fallen apart. We added on a second shooter with Kelly for our day and looking back, I realize that was so important. Together they made my special day run smoothly! Kelly always made sure the was taking the types of pictures I wanted in addition to amazing photos of her own creativity. She is simply wonderful! You would regret not having her as a part of your big day. I HIGHLY recommend Kelly and her team!! -

Kelly with Kelly H Photo is truly unparalleled when it comes to a photographer. I was fortunate enough to use her as a photographer for my engagement photos and wedding photos and I am so thankful for the effortless experience she provided us with, and the timeless, classic photos that will hang on the walls of my home forever. She goes out of her way to ensure that your wedding timeline is practical, efficient, and exactly how you want it. Any questions you have regarding logistics, she has a perfect answer for. When shooting your photos, she makes you feel relaxed, and gives you the best suggestions for photos that don't feel posed or modeled. My husband and I don't take a lot of pictures, so having someone we trusted to ensure we were getting pictures that actually represented our personalities and relationship was incredible. Now that our wedding is over, I find myself going back to her with advice for our album. I trust her eye, opinion, and instincts more than my own. Kelly is incredible! Highly recommend
My husband and I never take pictures and are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Kelly's energy, enthusiasm, and lighthearted coaching helped us feel at ease and allowed our personalities to shine through. Our family couldn't stop raving about the photos and how natural and beautiful they all turned out. With how stressful the past year has been, Kelly was understanding, flexible, and worked with us throughout our various postponements. Kelly's talent for photography, mixed with her her bubbly personality made our wedding day feel effortless. Kelly is beyond professional but makes taking photos so much fun! We constantly felt like Kelly had been our best friend for years and made us feel so confident in front of the camera. At the end of our wedding all of our guest had nothing but wonderful things to say about her about her. Many of our newly married friends wished they had picked a photographer who was this much fun to work with. Within 24 hours Kelly even delivered a handful of beautiful sneak peaks. WOW. Where do we begin? Kelly did our engagement shoot in Malibu and she seriously BLEW us away. Josh and I do not typically take a ton of photos or ever feel comfortable in front of a camera but somehow Kelly was able to get us out of our comfort zone + capture the most incredible photos! Kelly was an absolute Godsend throughout the wedding experience. She is so much more than your photographer! She helped every step of the way and showed us the best ways to manage time on the wedding day! Wonderful!
Kelly was just wonderful to work with. She was always so quick to respond to questions and I loved that she set up a video chat before the big day to really get to know us as a couple. My wedding was a bit unconventional and she was flexible the whole day, and helped me to feel so calm. We had never had professional photos done so we were a bit nervous but she made us feel so comfortable and natural. And of course the pictures!!! Unreal! The sneak peek came so fast and the whole gallery was ready in less than a month.

Hire Kelly!
Working with Kelly was amazing! I am so glad we found her to do our wedding pictures. I dread taking pictures because I am the least unphotogenic person ever and posing felt like it would be so awkward. Kelly made sure we didn’t feel like that and our pictures looked so good and she was able to capture natural moments. Leading up to our wedding everyone kept asking if the photographer(Kelly) who did our wedding pictures would be doing our wedding ones as well because they loved our engagement pictures so much. We were crying looking at our wedding pictures and we’ve been telling all our engaged friends that if they’re going to spend money on anything it has to be pictures because we felt ours were truly priceless and Kelly was the best investment we made. -

From the moment we hired Kelly to do our engagement photos, she was a joy to work with.
We had originally hired her to take photos of us in October, but due to the restrictions of the pandemic, she was extremely flexible with us on changing the date. We had to change the date two more times, and she was able to accommodate us at no extra cost (of course we made sure to notify her WAY before). When we finally got together, she made us feel so comfortable. I’ve never had professional photos taken of me before so I was a bit nervous, but she made it so easy. Not to mention the pictures were GORGEOUS. she gave us a sneak peek of about 7 photos within 24 hours and then had the whole album to us within 2 weeks. She was such a fun photographer and if I was getting married in CA I would have used her for our wedding! -

We had the pleasure of working with Kelly H for our small wedding in La Jolla, CA. Kelly was such a joy to work with. She was on time, enthused, fun, and just a great person to be around. My husband and I live in San Francisco, CA so we did not have the pleasure of meeting Kelly until our wedding day but she made us feel so at ease that we had such a blast during our pictures! I am so glad she captured our big day. She took some gorgeous shots and I love all the details of the day she was able to capture.
Communication before, during, and after the wedding was a breeze. She sent us some sneak peeks the very next day and our full wedding gallery was ready in a timely manner.

A blast and our photos are so symbolic of our relationship! An amazing capture!
She is the best!!!!! We didn’t think we were going to take engagement photos, but then realized we had no photos together, and couldn’t be happier with our session. She provided a consultation getting to know us and our “style” and was super personable during it. Kelly then helped handpick about 7 locations near where we live that matched the vibe of what we were going for. Then she helped follow through and get the correct permits and was super flexible when it ended up raining. On top of all of that it was a super fun and carefree session where both my fiancé and I felt super comfortable. She got beautiful sneak peeks over to us almost immediately and I could not believe how many amazing shots she nailed. Now we are just having a difficult time picking them for save the maybe dates (that covid bride struggle) because she’s just toooo good hahaha. I tried to book her for our wedding but she had already been spoken for that date hahah. So brides/grooms/peeps ... she goes fast and you don’t want to miss out. Our photo session flew by and truly felt like I was hanging with a friend. We also shared our photos on FB with friends and family and the love and praise they got were awesome!

Kelly was amazing! My fiancé and I actually won FREE engagement photos through a contest she had online and she treated us just like her paying customers! She responded quickly to e-mails, sneak peak 2 days later, and our FULL gallery 2 weeks after. We LOVE them. We hadn't taken professional photos before and she directed us and got the perfect shots! -

Kelly is awesome. We used her for our engagement shoot at sunrise at Griffith observatory and the photos were breathtaking! We wanted to do something different from a typical beach shoot so my fiancé and I both wore black. The contrast between our outfits and white backgrounds at the observatory along with early LA city skyline turned out even better than we imagined thanks to Kelly’s editing skills! Her turnaround time is quick, we got a preview of some photos to use within a few days and got the full album in less than 3 weeks. She’s super sweet and we felt really comfortable with her as she’s very professional and great at directing couples during the shoot. Kelly got amazing shots of us together and some individuals, I used my close up as a new professional headshot! We used her photos for our save the dates. We wanted to book her for our wedding but we have an extremely tight budget so unfortunately we had to book someone else. If you have the funds for fine art photography, Kelly is absolutely worth it! -

Kelly was amazing in every single way, she made our engagement photo shoot a breeze! My fiancé was skeptical about doing a shoot (we’d never done one) but we left wanting more haha. It was the first time we had met her & we felt like we’d known her forever, she was easy to get along with and made some pretty awesome jokes while taking pictures (which resulted in some epic candid photos)! Kelly is perfect
Kelly is the best wedding photographer ever!! She photographed our engagement photos, a post-elopement shoot, and our wedding. She was so patient and accommodating for all of our (multiple) changes during COVID and was such a huge support through it all. I hate being in front of the camera, but she made us feel so comfortable during all of our photos and it really shows in how they came out! She is so much fun to have by your side through your wedding day, it felt like she was in our bridal party. My. mom even said that it felt like we had a second Day-Of Coordinator because Kelly was so organized and kept our day flowing perfectly. I can't stop scrolling through all our photos, and I would highly recommend her to anyone! -

Kelly was an absolute delight to work with! She was friendly and flexible from the very beginning of planning. We felt completely at ease with her and she truly made the whole process effortless. Nothing felt forced or too posed and she was able to make it super fun for all of us! Kelly turned around sneak peaks for us so quickly. We were so pleased with them and couldn't wait for the full gallery. I still can't believe how many amazing photos we received, I am truly struggling to narrow down my favorites!
