Our wedding was at "The Barn" we discovered this venue by attending wedding expo our wedding planner highly recommend!!!! Great way to see some venues.
What a perfect venue all in one for our wedding. We had the option of our ceremony on the beach (yes please), also included tables/chairs/arbor- set up and break down included. Plenty of room to move around, big dance floor, great for mingling. We also had a bounce house in the back and still enough space for kids to run around.
Ps. Love the fact they include a prefered vendor list, I found helpful when I need a photographer, and DJ. Super helpful -

Beautiful May Wedding
We had a wedding on May 6th for my son Austin and his beautiful bride Tori and we could not have had a better experience. The venue was great and Nancy was absolutely wonderful to work with. So helpful and pleasant. She went far beyond the call of duty. I would advise any couple considering having a wedding at this venue to definitely go with these people. Thank you to all for making this such a memorable weekend. -

Perfect spot for a Book Launch!
We held Matthew Quick’s We Are The Light book launch event at Keeper’s Galley and it was the perfect fit for us! Plenty of room for attendees, book signing table and sales table.. Nancy created a great set-up for our interview including a boxwood wall that was a great back-drop for video and photo.. event couldn’t have gone smoother and Nancy couldn’t have been easier to work with! We will definitely be keeping this venue in mind for future events! -

10/15/22 Best Wedding
Renting all six cottages at Haven on the Banks for the weekend & Keepers Galley for our wedding + reception was the best idea & deal ever! We were able to host gatherings & our rehearsal dinner at the pool / tiki bar. Although the bridal suite was gorgeous, we had too many people & used the cottages as our get ready locations. The courtyard was perfect for our ceremony. Keeper Galley is beautiful as is only requiring minimal decorations. It was wonderful to have everything within walking distance especially for the guest staying on site with us. Local air bnbs & hotels hosted the remainder of our guest, but it was wonder that they could come by at any time. Tara & Nancy were both flexible & accommodating during our planning process. They recommended the best vendors & our time was amazing. Our guests keep asking when we are going back for a vow renewal. We are from DE & there are no venues like this in our area! Highly recommend!! -

We held our wedding reception at Keepers Galley! From initial contact with Tara and Nancy to execution of the wedding day, everything with them was amazing! They were both extremely responsive to emails and phone calls, were open to ideas for my reception that fell within the contract guidelines, and were so helpful in the planning process. The venue itself is gorgeous and there is a Bridal Suite for the Bride and her party to get ready, as well as a Grooms Den that is excellent for photos and a smaller space for the the Groom to get ready. I've provided a few photos from my wedding to give you an idea of the space! You will have to provide the linens and everything for your tables, but the venue will provide all the tables and chairs you need! 10/10 recommend! -

I can't recommend this venue enough. The space was absolutely gorgeous and Nancy, the concierge, was able to pair us with local vendors on short notice to make our event incredible. They were incredibly flexible with our group and willing to accommodate any of our needs. We had to change our wedding venue due to Covid, but Tara and Haven on the Banks made it all worth it. The venue itself is gorgeous on its own, plus the beautiful outdoor place and proximity to the beach for our beach wedding was an added bonus. Tara really has thought out everything needed for an event space and made it top notch. The get ready spaces, the spiral staircase, the lights, even the bathrooms, everything was spectacular. We are so happy we had to change our venues, because otherwise we would have missed out on this beautiful space for our wedding! The cottages, perfect. The venue, perfect. The weekend, dreamlike. Hands down, Haven on the Banks is the BEST VENUE on the planet. Tara and Gerry poured their heart and souls into these properties and it shows! We have 100% trusted in their vision from kneeling in construction dust saying “yes to the address” all the way until we were next up to “tack the plaque”! The attention to detail exhibited by Tara and Gerry is astonishing and we wanted for NOTHING during our wedding weekend festivities. Keeper’s Galley was absolutely magical. A short walk down the street to Small Dr. for our stunning beachfront ceremony and on to the gorgeous courtyard for our post-ceremony happy hour. The cottages were pristine and modern and bright. We are still actively swooning over those front porch views! The weekend was blissful, relaxing, and practically stress-free knowing we had our wedding party and immediate family in the houses with us and the rest of our guests within walking distance to the venue. Our guests are still ranting and raving about the weekend and the amenities! We couldn’t have dreamed up a better weekend to celebrate our marriage and that is due mostly to Tara and Gerry who have become family to us. We can’t begin to say thank you enough to those 2 for keeping us (mostly me) grounded throughout planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic, but we love them and they know we couldn’t have done this without them. We booked Haven on the Banks for a 3 night stay at the cottages and the reception for our wedding. We love the all together feel, amenities, beautiful decor, the property. August Wedding 2021
Tara and Gerry were awesome right from the beginning. We actually toured the property when the 6 houses were completed, but Haven On The Banks was not built yet. Tara met with us, showed us the houses and her plans for Haven On The Banks. From touring the houses, we knew the venue would be beautiful. We booked the venue and houses the next day. When we had to reschedule due to COVID, Tara was very understanding and allowed us to reschedule with no issues. Come one year later than planned, the venue is BEAUTIFUL. They have plenty of tables, chairs, and the decor inside was amazing. I did simple flowers for table centerpieces and that's all that was needed. The lighting and fireplace were awesome. We did all our family photos in-front of the fireplace inside. We did our first look on the spiral staircase. We had plenty of room for 11 tables and a huge dance floor. The bridal get ready suite was perfect. Myself, 3 bridesmaids, mother, and mother in law all got ready here and had plenty of space. We hired 2 bartenders, one for the bar inside and one for the bar outside. The only issue we had was the lawn outside. Our original plan was to do a beach ceremony, but they changed after COVID. We did the ceremony in the lawn outside. The lawn was a little hard to walk around and placing the chairs was a challenge, but in the end it all turned out beautiful. While we had high hopes of being the first couple to get married at the Keeper’s Galley, it unfortunately was not finished in time, but we were still able to rent the house portion at Haven on The Banks! The dream for our beach wedding was to have our bridal party/friends all staying in one location to make a mini vacation out of the special occasion, and Haven on the Banks was honestly everything we had hoped for! The cottages are absolutely gorgeous and stocked with everything you need, and the owners are so sweet. The tiki bar/pool area provided the exact spot that we had envisioned for all our friends and family to hang out together on the nights leading up to our wedding. Most of us traveled down on Wednesday and enjoyed relaxing together at such a beautiful location until our wedding on Saturday. We grilled steaks, drank cool beverages, watched the Nationals win the World Series, drank coffee on the front decks looking out each morning at all my friends at their separate cottages, hung out in the hot tubs, and most importantly spent so much time together because we were all in one location. I would highly recommend these adorable cottages to any group looking for a getaway with a large group.Keeper’s Galley and The Barn at Haven on the Banks's reply:

Amazing Venue - Keeper;s Galley at Haven on the Banks
Keeper’s Galley at Haven on the Banks was a phenomenal venue to host our annual, corporate, Appreciation Party. The venue provided a beautifully appointed space that Nancy and her team helped to transform into a memorable, show stopping event! The back lawn was large and private and offered enough space to add a tent to create a wonderful indoor-outdoor flow for the event. A special thank you to Nancy, Tara, and their team for a wonderful venue and event. We highly recommend Keeper’s Galley at Haven on the Banks and look forward to future events! -
