Dream Day with Dream Music - 04/23/2022

Chris was a dream to work with as a DJ. He made the planning super easy with a very extensive planning document with varied questions to make sure the day was exactly what we wanted it to be. He respected our music choices and made sure to not play the songs on our "Do Not Play" list, even when they were requested by guests! He kept the party going all night and took our lead to make sure the night was exactly what we wanted it to be. The guests loved being able to text him requests. He was professional, respectful, easy to work with, and made sure that our mutual love of music was perfectly represented on our big day. My only regret is that I didn't spend every song out there dancing!

Hire Chris!

Chris was awesome! From our initial meeting to the big day, he was great to work with. Chris was very professional, communicated clearly, had an inclusive song planner for us to fill out and gave helpful opinions on reception flow, song choices, etc.! He added up-lighting for us last minute and brought glowsticks to the party, which was a fun surprise! The song choices kept the party going all night and he made sure no songs on the "do not play" list were not played, even if they were requested by our guests! Chris was an amazing vendor to work with and I would recommend him to anyone in the KC area. You're the best, Chris!

Chris was absolutely fantastic! He was easy to work with, professional and his planning guide made planning so easy. Chris was quick with responses and communicated well in all aspects of planning. Fantastic DJ!

Chris was such an awesome DJ at our wedding reception! He worked hard to ensure he knew exactly what we wanted (and didn't want) in the weeks leading up to our reception, and he absolutely delivered. The dance floor was rocking all night long - no awkward pauses or dull moments! We were so impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. Not only is he good at what he does, he has a great personality that's easy-going and fun. Chris is an unbelievable value for the quality you receive. If you're looking for a DJ, look no further! The DJ Hunt Stops Here!

We are thrilled that we ran into Chris from KC DJ Unlimited at a wedding expo. After reaching out to learn more about him and his services, we knew that he was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ! Chris is very organized and has put together a Reception Planner which guides you in determining the details and timeline of the evening prior to your wedding day. It also encourages you to list songs you for sure want played, those you do not, and what types of music you enjoy. About a week or two before your wedding date, Chris will set up a phone meeting to discuss what you have written. After that conversation, I felt so much relief knowing that my special day was in good hands and that Chris would be worrying about keeping thing moving well on the day of the wedding so that I wouldn’t have to. As such, we were able to simply relax and enjoy our special day! In addition to his organization, Chris is personable and thoughtful. He is quite easy to talk to and responsive to emails, typically responding within 24 hours. This was a huge blessing when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19 and had to pick a new wedding date in a timely manner before slots started getting filled by others in the same boat. Finally, he helped us implement different ways to help promote safety amongst our guests by keeping an eye on the buffet line to ensure social distancing as well as placing “text song request cards” on the tables. If you want someone who will treat you as a person and not a paycheck or who will DJ your wedding with the amount of care as if it were the wedding of a close friend, then we recommend booking Chris with KC DJ Unlimited! You will be so glad you did!

Great Wedding DJ!

Chris is an incredible DJ, and he handled our wedding to perfection! He did a great job prepping for the wedding and made sure he learned exactly what we wanted. He played all the music we liked and emceed the wedding better than we could have hoped! Would recommend Chris to anyone!

All-around great DJ experience!

Equal parts DJ, host, planner, Chris oversaw our big night, without being intrusive in any way, to make sure that our big night was fun and stress-free. We received so many compliments from our guests not only about the music, but also about how funny and warm our DJ was. Prior to the wedding, Chris met with us on multiple occasions to make sure the music and reception was just the way we wanted it, which is a testament to just how much professionalism he brings to his work. He is flexible, creative, and helped us so much in the planning stages. We would highly recommend Chris for your reception. Ours would not have been the same without his presence. Five stars and four thumbs up from this couple!

Thank you, Chris (KC DJ Unlimited) for your excellent DJ’ing at the party I recently hosted for my husband’s birthday. Everyone had a wonderful time at the party. And several people commented to me (unsolicited) that they thought “our DJ was fabulous!” Each of those people said generally the same things: That you played background music that was soft enough it didn’t disrupt conversations, but not so soft and mellow that it sounded like elevator music. That once in a while they would pause to listen, and the songs were ones they enjoyed. But mostly they just focused on chatting with the birthday guy, or with friends they hadn’t seen in a while. Your music made the occasion seem festive, friendly, comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyable.

We can't say enough good things about Chris. He was incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating during every step of the process, even taking very last minute requests for what we wanted to hear during the wedding. He was very nice and cordial along the way as well. A fantastic vendor in every sense of the word! We will recommend Chris for anyone we know looking for DJ services.

Cannot begin to give Chris enough praise. He does an awesome job from start to finish. He is such a professional and great to work with. His wedding planner allowed us to really iron out the details of our wedding reception prior to our special day allowing us to not have to stress about the flow of the reception. He did a great job sticking to music we requested and keeping the dance floor packed all night. So happy we found Chris and he was able to help us create and celebrate our special day.

Chris was amazing ! He made the entire experience perfect - from the upfront planning, to the actual event, and the cost. He was extremely well priced while offer quality service and remaining very flexible. He accommodated all (and many) special requests, kept the dance floor hopping all night, and was a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely recommend him and hope to use him for another event in the future !

Additionally, his pricing is so fair and simple - he doesn't nickle and dime you and goes above and beyond to make the night fun !

Chris did an amazing job with our wedding. Leading up to the event, he was easy to get a hold of and very responsive to all our questions. On the day of the wedding, he was flexible with changes to the ceremony and reception. He was great at coordinating and directing the reception, and keeping us on track. Chris was the DJ for my wedding on 3/11/2017 and I'm so glad I chose him. He was super flexible and was always there to answer all my questions (too many LOL). He did a great job engaging everyone and getting everyone up and dancing. I would recommend his services for any event.

I attended another wedding where Chris was the DJ and knew immediately that I wanted him to DJ my own wedding. When I contacted him about DJing my wedding, he responded quickly with paperwork and was ready to answer any questions I had. A couple of weeks before the wedding, he checked in with me to make sure I didn’t have any other questions; later on, I had a last minute song request to add and he happily accommodated us.
Chris played some nice ambiance music while guests were being seated for the ceremony that was so perfect for the outdoor event and continued the music into dinner at the reception. When it was time to dance, Chris was on fire with the music selection! People didn’t stop dancing the whole night. Since then, many friends/family who were guests at the wedding have commented about what a great DJ Chris was and that it was the best dance party they’ve ever been to. I 100% agree. Chris is so nice, easy to communicate with, and plays the best music—I really felt like with just the few ideas we gave him about our music tastes that he was able to run with it and create the best playlist ever.
I cannot recommend Chris highly enough. Book him—you won’t regret it!

Chris was amazing! My wife and I hired Chris to DJ at our wedding reception in Lawrence, KS. Chris was quick to respond with a quote for the reception and was easily accessible for any and all questions we had about music, order of the reception and any other questions we could think of. On the day of the wedding, Chris arrived promptly on time and did a fantastic job directing all of the announcements, toasts and all of the events at the reception. My wife and I are so pleased with the service Chris provided leading up to the wedding day and during the reception. He met with us prior to the wedding day to discuss the reception timeline and our musical taste. He was thorough and ensured that he had a clear idea of what we wanted from him. Shortly after the meeting, we gave Chris a list of approximately 50 songs that covered music from 5 decades that wedding guests of all ages could enjoy.

We weren't expecting much of a dance floor at our wedding, so we were pleasantly surprised when a dance floor formed -- and Chris was prepared. Whether it was a break-dancing circle, a limbo line, slow-dancing, or up-tempo dancing, Chris played songs from our wishlist and took requests from our guests. He even provided glow-sticks for our guests to give the reception more of a party atmosphere.

My wife and I found Chris to be personable and professional in our experience with him and have already passed along his contact information to an engaged couple who were guests at our wedding. We recommend Chris to you, too!

Chris was amazing! He was the only DJ that I contacted that kept in constant communication with me. I chose him because of his fantastic reviews and great customer service. We hired Chris to also do our ceremony music on top of our reception, and it was not a big deal to him at all! He gave us a very detailed worksheet to fill out and then we just gave him a script for the ceremony! A few weeks before the wedding, we had a phone meeting where we went over everything in even more detail so the day could go off without a hitch. He knocked it out of the park! Thanks Chris!

Chris was phenomenal!! Almost everyone I talked to at the wedding talked about how excellent the music choices were- a great mix of songs that appealed to both young and old. One of the memories that will always stick out from the reception is how Chris opened the dance floor with "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift- I think every single person at our reception rushed the dance floor! His pacing kept the dance floor full all night- without my husband, me, or our wedding party having to drag people out there. Throw in his ability to put together some late-night karaoke (and adjust when that wasn't as popular as we expected), and I was absolutely blown away. I can't recommend him enough!

Chris was the best wedding DJ. A significant number of our guests complimented us on the music during and after the wedding. In addition to helping us pick the music, he also helped us figure out the timeline of the wedding and reception, which was wonderful. The music he played during dinner was perfect--it didn't overpower conversation, but it created a really happy ambiance. The dancing music was PERFECT. There was a great balance of fast & slow songs, old & new, poppy/trashy and classic ... I can't say enough good things about Chris.

Chris was great to work with for June wedding. He went above and beyond expectations and met with us a few times prior to wedding, provided music for our ceremony and even attended rehearsal to make sure everything was in order. He was very prompt with getting back to us and paperwork. We had an outdoor ceremony and he even got stung by a wasp when setting up! What DJ would be OK with that!

This was literally the hardest thing about our wedding - picking a dj, picking songs, and sticking with them. Chris was excellent in helping us make this process smooth. He was willing to meet as many times as we needed. As we got closer to the wedding, we started to panic as we realized we couldn't think of a few more songs to fill some time slots - but as soon as we told Chris, we felt at ease. It seemed he came prepared with suggestions and was always positive. I think the biggest compliment we got about our DJ was how funny he was. Oh and let me not forget - no babysitting was needed; he was at the reception an hour early, set up and ready to go. Best night of our lives and Chris didn't disappoint. Thank you, Chris!

Chris was a great DJ for our wedding. From our initial e-mail exchanges, to our in-person meeting, to our discussions about the reception plan, and to the day itself, Chris was consistently responsive, professional, helpful, and accommodating. He expertly handled the emceeing during dinner and the DJing during dancing. He worked with us to provide the service we wanted on a budget we could afford. Our guests had a great time, as did we. If I could do it all over again, I'd still hire Chris to do the job.

Chris did an amazing job before and during our wedding. Always same or next day replies to our emails. Superb song selection based on some genres we gave him. Had to change up the order of some things during the wedding and he was always nice and helpful. Will recommend to all my friends.

Chris was everything we wanted in a DJ. Before the wedding, he was organized and incredibly helpful. Through his help and amazing planner, we were able to outline with him exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Chris was even more impressive on our wedding day. The music and sound was great, which was a little challenging due to a tricky venue. He was friendly and easy-going while also a true professional. After ensuring the ceremony went perfectly, Chris read the crowd great and had everyone dancing for hours. We are so happy that we hired Chris. I highly recommend KC DJ Unlimited and Chris Brower to anyone need a DJ.

Chris was great! He talked me through all the music I would need to pick out and for what. He said we could pick out each song to play or he had music for everything if we wanted to leave it up to him. He had a packet and we just filled in the blanks, it was perfect! Chris Brower was a great DJ! He had great knowledge of music and was very low key. He was open to the way we wanted the reception to run and facilitated a great dance party that mixed fun music with our alternative tastes.

Chris was great to work with from start to finish. He met with us at the beginning and was very organized in terms of what paperwork we needed to fill out for him, and because of his experience, he had thought of aspects of our reception we hadn't considered. We also talked again the week before the wedding - he asked thoughtful questions and was extremely flexible with our timeline and song requests.

On the wedding day, he showed up on time and was ready for the guests. He checked in with us a few times throughout the evening to make sure we were pleased. We thought the music selection was great and it kept our guests dancing all night long!

Chris recently deejayed our son's Bar Mitzvah party. He was fantastic! We found Chris while searching for DJs on line. We are glad we took a chance. He was prompt and professional. He accommodated our requests but most importantly helped to provide an energetic and fun atmosphere for our son and guests.

Chris was truly awesome to work with. Our music was VERY important to us, and our DJ, Chris, was literally the first person who booked. We're both big on dancing- and wanted to make sure we had someone who could understand both of our tastes, as well as the flow of the party- to make sure everyone had a good time. A boy did we- the majority of our wedding party never left the dance floor. Both of our Grandmother's said it was the best and most fun wedding they have ever been to- and much of that was attributed to Chris.

Not only did he make our reception fun, but he was very professional. We relied on him heavily to move the flow of the party- which he did with no problem. Even our guests commented on how great he was. He was expedient with any request- and we changed everything from songs to who we were doing our first dances with up until the week of the wedding. All around, great service- we would both definitely recommend for your next event!
