Where do I begin? Life has a funny way of bringing people into your life, and I am sure glad it does. After multiple rescheduled weddings due to covid my husband and I decided to just do the damn thing with our parents and siblings over Christmas of 2020. My parents had recently relocated to Cody, Wyoming and we thought “what a beautiful place to begin our lives together.” While searching for a photographer in the area I stumbled upon Kayleigh. Not only is she from our home state of Texas, she has the most amazing vision and skill when it comes to capturing love in a photo. I knew she was the only photographer for us, and I asked her what day she was available and booked her for a Tuesday. Best decision ever. Not only do we have the most amazing wedding photographs to remember the day, but we have made a life long friend who will actually be joining us in Ireland for our big wedding celebration. Kayleigh is one of a kind. A smart, talented, and genuine soul who you will be lucky to have capture your big day; whatever it may be. -

Kayleigh was so easy to work with. We met in Red Lodge for engagement photos, and then planned on meeting again in April 2020 for the wedding. Covid forced us to change plans, but that didn't stop Kayleigh. She was so helpful throughout the whole process, and our photos were absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend her for all of your photography needs! -

I cannot say enough about the professionalism in which Kayleigh handled our wedding day photography. From our initial inquiry to our big day, Kayleigh was punctual, organized and very responsive. She sent us multiple questionnaires leading up to the big day requesting information I wouldn't have ever thought of prior to her asking, so that in itself was incredibly helpful while planning our day-of timeline. On the day of our wedding, Kayleigh exceeded our expectations. My husband isn't huge on photos and I was a little weary about him getting burnt out by the end of the day. Thankfully, Kayleigh's workstyle doesn't capture poses, it captures the moments. Her photo prompts allowed us to have fun and that really shows through in our photos. Kayleigh captured every ounce of joy from our wedding day, the most joyfilled day of our lives. Kayleigh was also super intentional with how she handled our photos; it's clear she doesn't take shortcuts and won't follow a one size fits all approach for her clients. She requested my Pinterest board and even slightly adjusted her editing style because she felt it reflected our style more. She was spot on. We cannot thank her enough for giving us the gift that keeps on giving - the ability to relive our wedding day over and over again. -

If you are considering Kayleigh as your wedding photographer, consider yourself lucky: she is a consummate professional with an extensive and polished portfolio that sets her apart from others in the area.
As Floridians eloping in the Grand Tetons, we were so glad to connect with Kayleigh, who was not only very responsive to our needs but willing to lend her knowledge and expertise to our planning process. She was a great help to us out-of-towners in determining the best locations and times to get the most out of our special day, and we couldn’t have been happier with the day-of experience or the finished product.
Kayleigh was professional, friendly, and easy to work with in person. She went above and beyond to help us “set the stage” for our actual ceremony, and took TONS of breathtaking photographs throughout our day. She managed to capture us at our absolute best—most of the time without us even realizing she was there—and left with a veritable trove of magazine-worthy images that she later made available for us to download in full resolution.
It was a rush to see the pictures once they were ready. Kayleigh’s work is amazing and serves as a surprising boost to the ego. My husband and I looked at a few of the pictures, then looked at each other as if to confirm that we are actually capable of looking that good. Then we poured over the rest, remembering our best day ever in the best possible way.

Prioritize Kayleigh before your wedding dress!!
Kayleigh was over-the-moon, exceptionally perfect! She truly made my experience what it was; my elopement would have been a mess without her. She listened to all my weird quirks and preferences, ensuring I got exactly what I wanted. By taking the time to get to know my husband and I, she was able to add her inspired vision and touches to our day while giving us exactly what we wanted. Since we did an out-of-state elopement, we were unsure about many aspects. She assisted with location, lodging, vendors, made our schedule for the day, gave me countless packing tips, and so much more! It's crazy to call her a photographer because she did so, so much outside of photography. Yet, her pictures were perfect! It's hard to believe they are REAL and ME because they are so incredibly dream-like. They look exactly how I dreamed they would! I can say, without a doubt, that Kayleigh was just as determined for me to have my perfect, dream elopement as I was. Her passion and work-ethic is unmatched. Her laid-back, personable personality, paired with her perfectionist work-ethic, made me feel completely comfortable and confident at all times. I cannot overemphasize how she went above and beyond doing everything she could to add to my day - even though none of it was in her job description! Since Kayleigh and I live states apart, I did not meet her until my wedding day; nonetheless, she was by my side each step of the way. Through phone consultations, emails, and text messaging, she was always accessible and easy to reach. I cannot overemphasize how much one person can add to your wedding experience. You are hiring so, so much more to your wedding by having her on your team. I found her by google, and I am so grateful I did! -

Amazing photographer!!!
I can’t say enough great things about Kayleigh! She is such an amazing photographer and person! She helped us with EVERY aspect of our elopement. The location, my hair, makeup, minister, where we stayed, table decor and anything thing else I asked she helped me with! Our day was perfect and I have it captured in the most beautiful pictures and it’s all thanks to Kayleigh! We also gained a new awesome friend! I HIGHLY recommend her!!! -

Kayleigh was awesome. She really captured our natural, organic outdoor wedding. The photos are romantic and natural. Our only wish is that we’d known to ask her to capture more photos of our friends and family. I would definitely recommend this photographer for a wedding. We could not have asked for a better photographer or experience! Kayleigh is down-to-earth and very professional, exactly what you need on your wedding day. Our wedding had some twists and turns with the weather, but Kayleigh did an amazing job at revising the plan when needed and keeping everyone calm. The photos are GORGEOUS and exactly what I envisioned. I would highly recommend booking her!! -

Working with Kayleigh was equal parts heartbreaking, frustrating, and baffling. We trusted her to capture an important day in our life, and instead as soon as the money was transferred, she became absolutely awful to work with. In short, she disrespected us as people, our values and vision, and was completely uninterested in doing what she could to make it right. She broke my heart, wasted my time, and caused so much pain.
We hired her for photography, light planning, & and furniture rentals. This is the review I wish I had read as a bride before deciding to hire her. I would not under any circumstances work with her again.
The top three things I wish I knew before hiring her were:
1. She doesn’t know how to put the wishes of her clients above her own.
- Communication is not one of her strengths. She was exasperated, distracted, and seemed upset to see us at every meeting. She made us feel like an inconvenience to her, not a respected client. She didn’t answer our questions directly, and instead responded with judgment and shamed us repeatedly. Multiple times I had to be very strategic about how I talked to her because I was afraid she would sabotage our wedding.
- She didn’t listen to what was important to us, she didn’t care about our vision, and she fought our design choices every step of the way. She treated us like we were beneath her and frequently talked down to us and didn’t respect that this was our wedding.
- Because she didn’t listen to what was important to us, we were very disappointed when we got our pictures back. She missed many of our favorite moments and what was most important to us. Several times, she missed things we specifically asked for. Getting your wedding pictures back is supposed to be a happy thing. With Kayleigh, it was a massive headache bordering on nightmare.
- In addition to missing many of our important moments, she refused to give us requested images in color, edit out blurry grass covering our family portraits, and retouch the images to include the blue sky. She wanted to charge us an additional $500 to perform basic edits, leaving us with pictures we are not satisfied with.
- When things started to go south on both ends of our relationship, she offered to refund us the $500 allocated for the wedding album + USB + wooden box. However, she refused to send us this money unless we signed a contract amendment saying we would not share our negative experience with her. She still has not given us our money back or completed the photo album.
2. Everything will be late.
- She showed up late to multiple meetings, to set up the day before, and on the day of the wedding. She also delivered our sneak peak, gallery, edits, and damage deposit weeks late. (It took 50 days late for the damage deposit, 24 days for the sneak peak, 133 days for the gallery, 77 days for 4 edits, and she refused to complete the additional edits we requested.)
- She overbooks herself and then hides behind her busy schedule.
3. She will be your biggest stressor of your entire wedding experience and break your heart multiple times by the end of it.
- We hired her to make our wedding easier – she made it so much harder in every way she could. By the end of our experience working together I couldn’t even look at my photos without being sad and angry.
- She was incredibly rude to our family, our friends, and our vendors (so much so that everyone commented on how negative and difficult she was). We had to take time out of our getting ready to vent about how hard it is to work with her, in addition to a plethora of times we had to juggle being afraid of upsetting her at the expense of her ruining our wedding.
- I seriously considered taking her to court and the only reason I didn’t is because I am tired of using my time and energy on this. She doesn’t deserve anymore of my time; she’s already done enough harm.
I truly hope that sharing this helps to inform future couples so that they don’t experience the same pain we did.
