After working with Kayla as a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding, I knew I had to hire her as my MUA as well! She does fabulous work and has really mastered soft/neutral glam. Coordinating with her in the lead up was a smooth and seamless process.
The assistant she brought on the day of was also fabulous. Not to mention, she is a very nice person and enjoyable to be around - Made me feel at ease on the big day! -

Where do I begin. Having Kayla be my makeup artist for my wedding day was the best decision. Her expertise in makeup and talent is absolutely amazing. I never felt more beautiful in my life. She can make you glowing and elevated to however you want. My skin was glowing and lasted all day even through the tears!!! I truly felt my most confident ever. Not only did she do gorgeous makeup, just having her along my side all day ( gold package) was so comforting, and fun.....she almost felt like one of my bridesmaids. All my girls could agree on how amazing and flawless their makeup was. I want Kayla to be my makeup artist forever, and you will have no regrets choosing her for your big day. -

Kayla radiates such a positive and supportive energy. While the day of was a bit chaotic I knew my makeup was one less thing I had to worry about. I’ve had my makeup done several times before, but this time, you could truly see the talent, precision, and love she has for her craft. From our very first email conversation, to the trial, the wedding day, and even the last email, Kayla was exceptionally amazing.
She made me feel comfortable, heard, and taken care of throughout the entire process. On the wedding day, she arrived early and made sure my girls and I were completely taken care of. The vibe was phenomenal!
The moment she handed me the mirror and showed me her work, I was blown away. I felt so beautiful and still completely ME. She enhanced my features in a way that perfectly complemented my overall look.

Kayla is the sweetest and most professional person to work it. I instantly got such a great vibe from her during my makeup trial and quickly knew she was the perfect makeup artist for my big day. Once you sit in that chair, she makes you feel so comfortable, like a dear friend doing your makeup. I truly appreciate her attention to detail and how she ensures you love the look before finalizing it.
On my wedding day, Kayla and her lovely assistant Danielle worked on my bridal party of 13 (me, 7 bridesmaids, plus 3 family members). I was astonished at how fast they moved but not rushed! We were even way ahead of schedule! Everyone's glam was absolutely flawless. When it came to my glam, Kayla made all my bridal Disney princess dreams come true. I've never felt more beautiful. She took her time with me and made sure my bridal makeup was absolutely perfect - it did not feel cakey or heavy, and she applied the false lashes so well that I barely even noticed they were on all night. Everyone kept complimenting me on my glam, and it lasted all day and night!

Kayla is such a wonderful artist who hones in on her craft while making one feel like we are just hanging out. My nerves were on an all time high planning a wedding but Kayla showed me during the trial that hiring her was something not to stress about; I felt as if I was talking to one of my friends! She just made everything feel so relaxed and fun! I wanted a natural glam, and being Asian I felt some artist over exaggerate certain features, but oh did Kayla stay true to my features which was the biggest sign of relief and gratitude. From understanding want kind of look I was going for to giving suggestions, Kayla was there the whole way through! Not only that but on my wedding day Kayla was more than able to help my now mother in law (who has Parkinson’s) with her makeup! My mother in law was nervous but when she got off Kayla chair she told me she absolutely LOVED Kayla and the makeup she did (: All the way till the next morning (I know it’s bad I didn’t remove my makeup at night lol) my makeup was there through all the sweat and tears hahah. Also I got pictures back and I’m INLOVE with how my makeup looks in them! I’m so so so thankful to have been recommended Kayla, she’s more than a dream come true for a makeup artist ! -

Having Kayla as my MUA was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day vendor team. Kayla worked hard to help me identify a wedding look that matched my personal style and vision. She even wound up doing my makeup for my bridal shower when I wanted to explore a different vibe! At my trial, she asked me lots of questions to make sure that I was fully comfortable with the direction we were going in and explained her approach throughout so I could feel confident in the final product. This was so helpful for me because I am not a big makeup person and had a lot of nerves about not looking like myself or feeling like myself on the big day. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and at my shower, she nailed it 100%! And the make up held up through tears, kisses, hugs and SO MUCH dancing.
More than anything, Kayla has an amazing spirit and energy about her and it was a delight to have her in my getting ready suite on the morning of. Thanks for helping make the big day (and my whole wedding season) so special! I need an excuse to book her again asap - Kayla is the absolute best and I recommend her you book with her ASAP!! -

Kayla is amazing! She is not your average makeup artist, she is a professional at what she does! Very personable and kind. I felt super comfortable with her and she was so informative on her products she used. Kayla was incredible! Such a sweet soul. An angel. She made me and my family feel completely at ease and relaxed. She was the BEST part of our wedding prep. She talked us through all the products she used which we all immediately purchased after my wedding.
Me as the bride, I really connected with Kayla. Our conversation flowed, I felt relaxed, supported and calm. My make up as did the rest of my family’s turned out PERFECTION. It stayed all day and all night.
I was Kayla’s first international bride, coming all the way from London to NYC to get married. I had no trial. I trusted Kayla and she gave me the look I desired for my special day. She captured what I wanted, and made me feel beautiful. She made me look like a bride.

Let me help you save time -- just go ahead and book Kayla!! One of the things that I really loved from the beginning was how quickly I got a response about turnaround time once I submitted that I was interested. There are so many things as a bride you're trying to balance that it is so helpful to have a timeline for when you will hear back.
Now let's talk about the makeup. Flawless from start to finish -- I felt so comfortable with her from the moment we started doing my makeup trial. It was a great team effort -- she gently encouraged a more pop look on my eye which I LOVED. But also immediately changed my lip color when I wasn't 100% sold. Makeup did not feel heavy and looked flawless all night long -- We hit the clubs after our reception and makeup was not budging. Kayla thank you again -- I was not a well rested bride (partied all wknd) and it did not show on the big day! I can't wait to book again!!! -

The BEST decision - Holy grail for POC!!
As an Indian person I was very concerned about finding a makeup artist and team who understood how to cater to my skin tone and the skin tones of my diverse bridal party. When I came across Kayla’s Instagram page I was absolutely floored. She is able to accentuate the natural features of all of her brides in such a glamorous way. I was also blown away by the different packages that she offers for her brides. I appreciated that she was also extremely easy to talk to via our initial communications which put me at ease. You can tell that she also wants to have a connection with her brides as well, and this isn’t just a business for her. I booked her without a trial because I was that confident in her abilities and didn’t want to lose out on her! I did a trial much closer to my wedding date and she was so open to having a discussion about my likes and dislikes. On the day of she was bright and early and did a phenomenal job! I was so happy with how everything came out! I usually don’t wear a lot of makeup so she just made me look like me but much more glam! It was such a great transformation! She even went out and bought a foundation that she thought would suit me better before my wedding day. Kayla was beyond professional, so so so talented, and just so sweet. Her team was also ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law were absolutely stunning. I could not stop looking at them! I went with the gold package which included a makeup artist staying behind for 3 hours to do touch ups on me which was so necessary for me since I cried my face off and her team member worked MAGIC and put me back together right before I walked down the aisle. This type of service is unbelievable and really nothing I saw in any of the quotes I received in my makeup artist search. I would recommend Kayla and her team without hesitation! -

I came to Kayla after a bad makeup trial and from our initial conversation, I knew I was in good hands. Kayla ended up being my favorite vendor of the wedding weekend! My biggest issue with my first trial was finding an artist that understood how to work with my South Asian skintone- Kayla understood my concerns immediately and delivered the most flawless look for my day. She worked with the color palettes of my dresses, and what I loved most was how modern but still timeless the whole look was (completely up to date on the latest trends in makeup but still kept things super clean and timless). Lastly, Kayla is just a gem of a person- you spend your whole morning with your Makeup Artist, so you want someone relaxed and fun. Having Kayla was like having a friend all morning, she kept me laughing and relaxed. I booked her Gold Package, a must for South Asian brides. I only wish I met Kayla from the very begining! -

Kayla was very responsive and accommodating when it came to ironing out the details for my Indian (hindu) wedding. She is not only professional, but also a delight to work with. Kayla is amazing! She was an Instagram find and I fell in love with her work right away. She responds quickly to email and is professional! I had her do a makeup trial for my engagement pictures and I trusted her to give me a beautiful soft look and it blew my expectations out of the water! She did my makeup early in the morning and my pictures were not until 6 pm. It stayed on ALL NIGHT! I booked her right then and there and I cannot wait to have her do my makeup for my wedding! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone! -
