There’s no one better!
When we came across Kayla’s photos we were absolutely blown away. She has such a great feel for her couples and gets the best out of not only the environment but also the subjects of her shots. She has a calming and comforting presence that assures nervous couples that the photos from their wedding are in great hands. She ran the night like a pro and OMG the photos!!! Our friends commented that we look like we were in Vogue. Can’t recommend her highly enough! We are in love with our photos and can not get enough of them! -

Kayla made all my photo dreams come true!!! We hired Kayla for our destination wedding in Cabo and she was truly such a joy to work with. She has such a calming presence which puts you at ease during your wedding day. There were so many amazing shots of moments I missed and it was so beautiful to be able to see them in photos. She captures the day in a documentary style and her edits have an editorial flare - the perfect combo in my opinion. Our photos are everything we dreamed of and more. Romantic and modern yet so very timeless. Hiring Kayla was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We will cherish our photos forever! Thank you Kayla! 💛 -

Kayla is a DREAM to work with!
We are so thankful for finding Kayla! She was such a dream to work with and she made being in front of the camera so fun and easy going. From my very first phone call with her I knew she was the person I wanted to capture our most special day. We recently just got our wedding photos back and I have already received SO MANY compliments on how amazing the photos are - all thanks to Kayla! I highly recommend choosing Kayla as your wedding photographer as I know how special she was for us in capturing those moments that we will cherish forever. Not only is she awesome at what she does but she was also so lovely to be around as well!! She truly is the best of the best! -

Our experience with Kayla
Kayla was an absolute joy to work with. From our initial engagement photos to the delivery of our wedding album, she was extremely professional, kind and communicative.
She was able to travel out of state to take my wife's bridal portraits, which perfectly captured the Colorado landscape and we are so happy to have them. Of all our wedding vendors, we spent the most time with Kayla and she guided us through each phase of wedding photography with an incredible eye for all the details.
On our wedding day, Kayla was able to organize both of our families to take portraits and captured special moments that we will cherish forever. We couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful and friendly photographer and we feel lucky to have met her. -

Kayla was the absolute perfect match for us. We had our engagement and wedding photos completed with her, and we were looking at many different photographers. However, I fell in love with her effortless mixture of posed and candid shots. The entire way through the process, Kayla reaches out and communicates with you and helps you choose your engagement outfits/where to get them done. She also helps you with your wedding timeline and asks for a must have photo list. She has great informative material she sends you to help you with all your choices. I thought our engagement photos went well, but whenever she sent them back to us, I WAS STUNNED. I absolutely love them. They are such great quality and I have them printed out all over our house. Kayla is SO easy to work with and so full of joy and encouragement. She tells you exactly how to pose. She makes the entire process so fun and exciting. I cannot recommend Kayla enough! For our wedding, we had so many setbacks through our entire weekend – that we were pushed to have a backyard wedding and it looks like nothing even went wrong. I LOVE her work and I LOVE our wedding pictures. I will treasure them forever, and I will be recommending her to everyone I can tell about her work. HIRE HER FOR ANY PICTURES – she will not disappoint! Thank you so much, Kayla!! -

I hired Kayla to take photos of our December wedding, and she went above and beyond. She was really with me from beginning to end, helping me decide where to take the wedding party photos, and also incorporating film to really create some beautiful images. Everyone felt comfortable with her and she brought such a great, sunny energy. The photos were so beautiful my friend also hired her for her wedding! -

Kayla is absolutely amazing. She is easy-going, creative, and gracious. From the very first phone call, we knew we would love her to capture our special day. She goes out of her way to remember the little things and shows she appreciates the big decision you made to have her apart of your special day. I was a bride that had to postpone our wedding from April 2020 to September 2020 and Kayla was so understanding and kind throughout the entire process. We've only received the preview of our wedding photos and we are so incredibly happy with them. We can't wait to get the rest. The light, the framing, and the rawness she captures in her photos is breathtaking. Kayla will not only impress you - you'll want to be her friend after your wedding. We can't thank you enough. -

I'm so happy with the photos that Kayla captured for our engagement shoot and small civil ceremony! Choosing your wedding photographer is definitely a decision you want to make carefully, and I'm very happy I chose Kayla to be ours. The photos came out clean, bright, and most importantly captured moments of love. Working with Kayla was very easy and she communicated quickly through email. Incredible in all ways!
Kayla is simply the best of the best. She was referred to us by our wedding planner, Bluesparrow Events, and after a quick peek at her work we knew immediately she was a one of a kind photographer! Her photos are breathtaking, timeless, and really tell a story. Kayla is the sweetest and most laid back photographer I’ve ever met! While I was initially worried that the wedding day photos were going to be a stressful process, Kayla’s calm demeanor radiated to me and left me calm, cool, and collected throughout the whole day! One thing I loved about Kayla was how she managed to get a photo of absolutely every moment without making me feel like there was a camera in my face all day. Looking through the album, my husband said multiple times, “how did she get that shot?? I didn’t even see her standing there!” She didn’t miss a single moment the entire weekend. It is the most amazing gift being able to relive our special day through her incredible photographs. The quality of her work and her amazing personality is truly unmatched! -

I am an extremely camera shy person and have never been a fan of professional photography because it comes off as staged or generic so combine that with my “in front” of the camera anxiety I was not looking forward to being photographed BUT Kayla blew up all my stereotypes of professional photos and made my partner and I beyond comfortable. She encouraged us to be ourself and helped direct us in the beginning until we got into the groove.
Her comfort and charm sprinkles over the entire photo shoot and comes out through her photos. We are at the time in our lives that everyone is getting engaged or married here in Santa Barbara, CA and we’ve been recommending her to everyone and anyone who will listen to us!She made us look like the most effortlessly cool couple on this planet - do yourself a favor and hire her! -

My husband and I recently got married in Austin in December and could not have picked a better photographer than Kayla!
From the initial greeting/meeting, to the engagement session and finally our wedding day, Kayla was amazing and her pictures are a perfect reflection of that.
What I initially liked about Kayla was her high quality photography, especially for weddings/couple shots. She was great to work with in terms of communication and planning and followed through on every detail.
Kayla is also candid and wants to know what you like/dislike and truly tries to meet all your needs (I even told her I wasn’t wild about certain angles on me and I think she was great about capturing the right ones). And in the end what I learned from the process was that it’s not just about the “you pictures” – I didn’t realize how much I would appreciate and love the photos that Kayla took of our venues, accessories, family, friends etc. She truly delivered the complete package.
Ultimately it’s no secret that wedding photos are not a cheap part of the process but when the product is as beautiful and seamless as Kayla’s photos it makes it all worth it. I constantly find myself still scrolling through my album and finding more pictures that I love from that day. Thank you Kayla!

Wonderful wedding photographer!
Kayla Snell is an unquestionably fabulous wedding photographer, and even friend now too! (All of our friends kept telling us how sweet and cool our wedding photographer was!) Both the film and digital images she created from our wedding day are absolutely stunning, quality images that I know our families will truly cherish forever. I also cannot even begin to describe how helpful she was on the day-of... everything from helping us stay on schedule to just being a such a kind/fun/laid-back person to have around helped make the day so complete. My husband and I were quite particular about a style of photography we liked when searching for a wedding photographer, and immediately fell in love with her images as soon as we saw them. She is not only a true professional and incredibly thorough (she managed to capture all of our huge families!), but also shows a consistent mastery of lighting and composition in all of her images. The photographs she creates are clean, timeless and sincere. My husband and I, our families, and our friends were so impressed her and her work. A million thank you's, Kayla! We loved having you with us! -

Wedding Photographer
Kayla photographed our wedding, and was incredible to work with. She was kind, reliable, responsive, and very in-tune with our wants and needs.
My husband and I are both very camera-shy, and neither of us feel that we are particularly photogenic. Kayla’s calm and casual approach was exactly what we both needed to feel comfortable on our wedding day. She listened well to the pictures that we wanted, and added her own creativity to the moments. She captured the day perfectly in a way that only a true artist could. She was respectful of our space, and maximized her limited time with us. I cannot recommend Kayla enough, and would absolutely use her again! -
