Book them!
We reached out to the Kay + Bee to see if they were available to do a destination elopement, totally not expecting them to say yes, but they did. Ashley K. did our engagement shoot, and she blew expectations out of the water. Our engagement session had two locations: one city, and one nature. We loved that Ashley was proactive in thinking we’d want a nature location, she really understood us.
We had a video meeting before the wedding day where we went over our hopes and dreams. I’ll admit, I didn’t expect all the dreams to become reality, but the Ashley’s took the notes from that meeting, and made them all happen.
The Ashley’s were amazing throughout the wedding process, but shined on our wedding day. We originally had planned to drive an hour away for a hiking location, but made the last minute decision for morning of to pick a closer location so we weren’t overly stressed. The Ashley’s were so understanding and adapted seamlessly. Part of our elopement was getting married on a lake, then heading to a forest hike, and ending with sunset on the coast. We spent the whole day chatting and genuinely had fun with them. They delivered on every ask and every dream we had. “These are the most beautiful wedding photos I’ve ever seen” is what we hear from almost every person we show our photos to. We may be biased, be we agree.
Kay + Bee really takes your vision and makes it a reality, and better than you expected. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and we love that Kay + Bee played a part in that. -

Kay & Bee - The BEST Photographers
Where to even start! From start to finish our time spent with Kay & Bee was nothing short of amazing! I knew after my consultation with Ashley, that Kay & Bee was going to be the perfect fit for our wedding photography. Our package came with engagement photos & we became so much more comfortable behind the camera with Ashley that by the time of our wedding day, we were able to just relax and be ourselves! We gave all the creative power to the Ashley’s and I do not regret that one bit. They captured our wedding day better than we could have imagined! I added a couple of our photos below but we truly loved them all! For any brides looking for a photographer I highly highly recommend Kay & Bee, they are just truly the best and they made wedding day so special! -

I’m not sure what to say or where to start other than Kay+Bee is our #1 recommendation to EVERY persons wedding. Top 5 reasons we loved them!! (we have plenty more)
1. They were our day of wedding coordinators and even helped us develop a wedding itinerary. They kept us on track all day!
2. They were the easiest and most stress free part of our wedding. They are energetic and fun and easy to work with but best of all, ORGANIZED.
3. They not only did our wedding photos, they did ALL of our families wedding photos too! Grant is the oldest of three boys but we were the last to get married. Just ask Gavin+Layne or Garrett+Sandi if you don’t believe me.
4. They roll with the punches and more. We were given options for packages, could do payment plans and more if needed. They even did our engagement photos.
5. The obvious reason, they are extraordinary at their jobs. Let the pictures explain their work. -

Hands down the BEST decision I made about my wedding was hiring Kay + Bee! Their style is perfect - not too moody, not too bright. They captured my entire day incredibly. They used their personalities to make everyone immediately comfortable, their expertise to get the perfect shot every time, and their logistical skills to stay on schedule and keep stress at bay. The know their stuff when it comes to the day’s flow and timeline, and answered endless questions from me to make sure all details were solidified multiple times. Our 18-person bridal party has given us so many compliments about Kay + Bee; it goes to show how comfortable they make everyone feel, which is SO important when it comes to capturing genuine moments. These girls are not only rockstars behind the camera but cheerleaders for the bride and groom. As a “corona bride”, the Ashleys helped me stay calm and could not have been more sweet, flexible, and accommodating. I will be forever grateful for their sweet hearts in making sure they were able to be there for my rescheduled date because my pictures are forever worth it!! From engagement photos to the wedding, they could not have exceeded my expectations more. If you want priceless photos, experts with mind-blowing skills, and amazing personalities who will keep you laughing until the clock strikes midnight - you MUST hire Kay + Bee! -

Kay + Bee was easily the best choice we made our entire wedding experience. I get emotional each time I look at our gallery. They captured our moments so raw and perfectly. We were married this past June, and the absolute best decision we made (apart from the decision to get married) was to hire Kay + Bee. Our photographer friends swooned over our photos, and now we have the keepsakes of a lifetime. It's sometimes difficult to know what you're getting with photographers while initially planning a wedding, but Kay + Bee are people you can trust with one of the biggest days of your life. My husband and I are extremely busy people, but Ashley K. was always flexible with our schedules and quick to respond to our emails. Communication was a breeze. We're also a low maintenance couple when it came to wedding planning, but we were a little more clueless than we should have been when it came to certain details. Ashley K. was kind enough to offer her insight on multiple fronts, including helping us create a schedule for the day of and developing a contingency plan for photos should our outdoor wedding need to move indoors. She not only shot beautiful staged family portraits, she also captured the magical blink-and-they're gone candid moments that I really wanted in our album. Ashley K. was beyond kind, skilled, enthusiastic, and professional - we had an absolute blast working with her. Kay + Bee offered so much love and support that anyone getting married should book them, and book them now. We are so grateful we did. -

When my wife and I started looking for photographers for the wedding I was a bit skeptical, to me a photo was a photo. My wife disagreed and put together a couple of options for me to look at and I realized immediately that I was very wrong. I was blown away by the quality of Kay & Bee and agreed with my wife that they were the company we wanted for the wedding. The photos were professional but personal, natural looking but perfectly staged. We couldn't be happier with that decision. Brittney and everyone at Kay & Bee were a joy to work with throughout the entire process. From meeting up the first time over a beer to a brisk November day for engagement photos to making a schedule for the wedding day they were friendly and willing to help with anything. Being the center of attention and being photographed can be a little awkward if you aren't used to it but Brittney made us feel like old friends immediately and we were overjoyed at the quality of the final pictures. They are by far the best photographs of the two of us we have every gotten and it is almost impossible to pick out our favorites because they are all so wonderful. The pictures we edited and sent back to us in the exact amount of time that they said they would be and everything was perfect. We would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a photographer for their wedding! -

I don't think there are enough words to describe this amazing team. Let me tell you, these girls know what they're doing! From making engagement pictures so fun and comfortable, to literally planning your wedding day, they are the BEST EVER! There are multiple words I could use to describe Kay +Bee, The Ashley’s: professional, unique, creative, warm, inviting, organized, diligent, energetic, effortless — additionally they lead well and have an amazing eye.
From the moment we booked Kay + Bee I was blown away by their level of professionalism. From the questionnaire they sent to better understand who we are as a couple and our desired esthetic to the specific timeline for our wedding day, the planner in me could not have been more thankful, relieved and impressed.
Their energy and imagination behind the camera made us excited for our photos and comfortable in front of the lens. Both bridal parties, families and guests found The Ashleys to be so fun, lighthearted and skillful.

I don't know where to begin when talking about these gals - let me just say that choosing them as our photographers was by far the BEST decision that we made regarding our wedding experience. From the comfort and confidence with felt at the engagement session, to communicating after the wedding and receiving our photos, we have been nothing by blown away by KayxBee.
Besides their insane talent, these gals have a HEART for brides and bridal parties. Their investment in making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, prepared for the day's events, confident in their timeline, all while allowing our wedding to be more than a timeline of photography was invaluable and something that I will always cherish about our KayxBee experience.
The best part about having them apart of our wedding day was the energy they brought to the day. You would think that having photographers you've only met once and communicated with via email over the past year would not be like having best friends hanging out with their cameras - but that was exactly how it felt. They calmed nerves, were super organized, confident, and just the sweetest humans you could ever dream of having capture your wedding.
We are in love with our wedding photos and cannot thank them enough for capturing every emotion from our wedding day through their amazing photography. I love that their talent will forever be apart of our wedding memories and something we will share and cherish forever! -

Did we just become best friends?!
These girls deserve more than the five stars it allows you to give!! We can't say enough about our favorite wedding photographers! We absolutely adore and love Ashley and Ashley! It's pretty hard not to fall in friendship love with these two. Like seriously did we just become best friends?! They make the day so easy and fun while dang they make you look good!! Their level of talent is off the charts and if you want photos that you'll gush over then these two ladies are your gals! Also if it makes you sad that the time you spent with them is over after your wedding, you know you have the right ones!! -

Husband’s opinion here! When we started shopping for photographers, I wanted whatever was cheapest, I just didn’t think it would make a difference. Jess convinced me that these two could capture our big day and I couldn’t be happier with our experience with Kay and Bee! They were on top of everything prior to and even on the wedding day. They kept us on track and most importantly kept us calm and relaxed on our big day! They traveled 3 HOURS to us to take our engagement photos (which were phenomenal by the way)! They didn’t skimp on a single detail and made sure every pose and every moment was captured in perfect fashion. We now have hundreds of beautiful photos that take us back to the best day ever, and they tell our story! -

They had previously photographed a wedding at our venue (in Texas) so that is what initially caught our attention. After talking to them over FaceTime and starting the planning process with them, we immediately knew that they were going to be so fun to work with. We met in Oklahoma for our engagement photos (which are awesome). We never felt like we were being awkwardly posed…they were able to capture our personality so naturally. It was a blast and we smiled/laughed like 99% of the time. Planning with Ashley B. and Ashley K. was very easy. They are extremely knowledgeable and talented when it comes to the wedding planning process. We felt so comfortable with them as our wedding photographers when it came to wedding day. They captured our day beautifully and went above and beyond with everything. We absolutely loved Kay + Bee as our wedding photographers and will continue to recommend them to friends. -

Their bubbly personalities are apparent the second you meet them and it radiates through you, and onto the photos. It’s like magic! They really do have an amazing talent and magical touch. They were able to make us feel so comfortable in front of the camera allowing them to truly capture our personalities. On top of helping us to plan the perfect day (they really are part photographers, part wedding planners), they made our day stress free and took charge of last minute details I hadn’t even thought about. You can tell they’ve done this a time or two. They effortlessly choreographed our family and wedding party portraits and finished them in a snap! We were all super grateful as portraits were the last thing standing between us and food! We recently received our pictures back, and we love EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! We would choose Kay + Bee a million times over!

Liz Sent on 02/15/2018Before we had our venue... prior to our floral decisions... in fact, before the date was set- we knew who we wanted as our photographers! We fell in love with their work and planned the rest of our wedding, including the date, around their availability! We can absolutely not sing their praises enough! Ashley and Ashley are beyond talented and provided images that were more than we ever could have imagined!
Kay + Bee were professional, prompt, flexible, fun... and, most importantly, KIND! At one point of the evening, I caught Ashley B. helping my Mom arrange flowers on our bridal cake... at another point, I viewed Ashley K. adjusting ties and tucking in shirts of our three year-old (not-so patient) twin sons... and my favorite- watching both Ashleys sprint from wherever they were in the building to capture my 87 year-old Grandma polka with her 84 year-old sister. Their genuine character was a quality we could have never paid enough for... our families and friends absolutely adored them!
While weddings can be stressful, not one part of our anxiety surrounded our photography- they kept us updated, at ease, and comfortable throughout the journey!

Brittany Sent on 11/16/2017Holy hell ya’ll, these girls. I don’t even have the words to tell you how amazing, wonderful, funny, kind, and understanding these two were. Let me tell you something. I knew I wanted these amazing ladies to shoot my [eventual] wedding back when I first heard about them in 2013. I had been obsessing over their albums and their talent for 4 years and my day finally came. And I was amazed at how these two hopped right in and just kind of took over, making sure the timeline went smoothly, and just making me feel at ease throughout the day. They really go above and beyond, at one point I think Ashley Burbank wrapped a gift? And helped with my dress, and just did so much more than you would expect a photographer to do. And Ashley Knolla was on a roll, just getting people where they needed to be, and neither of them backed down when it poured all through our family formals. They stuck it out, in raincoats, rain boots and under umbrellas, and they really, at the end of it all, felt more like best friends than photographers, and I am slightly sad it’s over. I have seen some teasers and I am truly blown away. I knew they did amazing work, but to see my own pictures in their image and their creation, is really something special. Ladies, thanks for making our day absolutely unforgettable. If you are looking for a set of amazing, fabulous FUN individuals to make your wedding day one of a kind? Kay & Bee are worth EVERY PENNY.
