  Amazing Elopement Experience!

  We are an older couple together for over 9 years. We wanted to have a simple, fun and stress free ceremony to make our marriage official! Freida delivered that and so much more!! She helped us with a photographer and videographer (both exceeded our expectations) and helped personalize the ceremony which made it so emotional and memorable! Freida was also flexible with us as we moved our beach wedding to our condo balcony during a rain storm and then rain back down to the beach during a break in the rain to finish our and blending ceremony and pronouncement. It was all so incredible- even with the rain, we would not have changed a thing! I highly recommend Freida for your officiant for your Kauai Wedding! 💍 💕🌺

  10 Star Elopement!

  Frieda was so wonderful- we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Frieda's vow reading was perfect. Not only was she extremally responsive but she helped with every detail of our ceremony. She ordered and picked up our Leis. She suggested and partnered with Ashley Valera Photography who took the most amazing photos and she set up our ukele musician. She coordinated every detail of our elopement. We wanted something simple and beautiful and had the best experience with Frieda. highly recommend.

  First class service, stellar planning and took care of all the details

  We had the absolute pleasure of having Frieda both plan and officiate our wedding, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the beautiful ceremony she crafted for us. From the very beginning, Frieda took the time to get to know us as a couple, understand our story, our values, and to put into beautiful words and actions our personal vision for our special day.
  
  We were especially pleased with how responsive she was to our questions, and how she guided us through the preparations needed to get the marriage license, introduced us to a great florist on the island, found the right location (a beautiful beach), obtained the beach permit for our ceremony, and reserved a fantastic photographer. Her deep knowledge of the local people and area and timely arrangements made the entire process of preparing for a wedding nearly stress free and let us focus on our travel plans instead of worrying about getting all the complex ingredients to come together on our special day.
  
  Her warmth and genuine care were evident in every interaction, making us feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, Frieda delivered a ceremony that was not only eloquent and heartfelt but also perfectly tailored to reflect our unique journey together.   Freida is such a genuine soul who made our wedding day so much brighter!

  Frieda is absolutely amazing. She met with us twice - once we originally booked her to officiate our wedding (about a year in advance) and then again when we were able to fly out to Kauai a few days before our wedding.
  She took the time to get to know my husband and I, our love story, what made us unique, and also provided some helpful guidance on how to get your marriage license in Hawaii.
  Frieda was off the charts amazing and I can't recommend her enough. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.

  We were referred to Frieda by our photographer who had a couple use her services a few years before and raved about how wonderful she was. Frieda was delightful to work with, patient with our timeline and helped us to design the most meaningful ceremony. She is very knowledgeable of the island and gave some wonderful recommendations for all of our last minute needs. I would recommend her to anyone.

She recommended a beautiful location, picked up my bouquet, organized the most talented photographer we could ask for, and provided us with options for our ceremony to make it personal to us. She was such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her services.

  A Perfect Kauai Elopement

  We had a trip planned to Kauai in September of 2023 and soon realized we could elope while there. After considering a Southern California courthouse ceremony, Kauai became even more appealing. After researching officiants, I was fortunate to find Frieda Gayle. After our first phone conversation, I knew I did not need to look any further! We thoroughly enjoyed having Frieda officiate and appreciated her professionalism and flexibility in providing different civil ceremony options. It was also reassuring to receive referrals as well (site recommendations, leis, photography, etc.). Frieda made the process extremely easy even when it came to obtaining our wedding license. We continue to reflect on our Shipwreck Beach ceremony because it was perfect, and we thank Frieda Gayle for officiating and helping to make our day one we will never forget.

  The Whole Package

  Frieda helped made our elopement a seamless and memorable event. She sent us emails with all the options for our ceremony & what we would need to do (we were coming from CA), made recommendations, kept things light and had a host of resources for us as needed. And she is a wonderful person. We would recommend Frieda if you are getting married in Kauai.

  It felt like we've known Frieda for years!

  Its hard to even know where to begin when describing our experience with Frieda. From the first point of contact, I felt like she was meant to be apart of our wedding ceremony. I first found Frieda by googling Kauai Wedding Officiant and some other people popped up but once I found Frieda's website we were sold! I first contacted her almost a year ahead of time just giving a general idea of what we were looking for in our ceremony as we were still deciding. Once we set our plans we connected with Frieda again and she promptly followed up with an in depth phone call asking our whole vision. I had also requested Frieda help with some day of coordination which she was able to work in for us as well. Frieda also helped find our photographer and a musician for our ceremony. The team she put together was even more perfect than we could have imagined! Throughout the whole process as I had questions arise, I would email Frieda and she was so quick to respond and always put all my worries at ease. It is a day we will think about forever and always be so special to us because of Frieda. Frieda also completely customized our ceremony and the way she delivered everything truly felt like she was a long time family friend and we really felt her love. Everyone at our ceremony raved about how well spoken she was and how much they loved the whole ceremony. Frieda even had a call with us the day before the ceremony to get even more personal details that were flawlessly added into the ceremony. A wedding can be stressful, especially on the big day, but her whole aura and demeanor will put any nervous couple at ease!

  Made our wedding day so special

  If you are getting married, you MUST choose Gayle! She made our day so much more special than we ever could have imagined. She is an excellent communicator and made sure we had all the proper paperwork and permits to make our wedding day a breeze. We got married on a beach that's a steep half mile hike down to, and she was more than willing and happy to accommodate us there! Our ceremony was complete with her as our officiant. She took photos, helped with my dress, was professional, fun, and visibly passionate about what she does. Our wedding day would not have been nearly as special without her. Stop looking and book her now!

  Our officiant was Freida Gayle and she was absolutely awesome! She was so easy to work with. Gave us awesome and helpful suggestions.   Frieda was a wonderful officiant! Prior to the wedding, she was very responsive and helped us with our vows and the entire order of the ceremony. She was so accommodating and even wore a dress to match our wedding color palette. The ceremony was very thoughtful and she added things that were unique to just us. I highly recommend Frieda!

  The best most perfect experience

  We are grateful and appreciative to have had Frieda officiate our wedding ceremony on Kauai. It could not have been a more perfect morning, and we both feel finding Frieda was the key. The choice of beach, the color of the leis, the amazing hair by a stylist who came early to our hotel room, the warmth and kindness of the photographer, the wording and vows of the ceremony itself - all flowed from Frieda’s amazing work and stellar recommendations. She was the perfect officiant, friend, counselor, and shepherd, and we feel blessed and utterly fortunate to have worked with her. 💜 💜💜

  Easy and breezy!

  Frieda helped us navigate a last minute elopement on the beautiful island of Kauai - and she did it with warmth and flexibility. She has a wealth of knowledge and eased a lot of unknowns for us as we were planning from California. So grateful we connected; it is truly a pleasure to know Frieda and we couldn’t have had as stunning and magical of a ceremony without her.

  My wife and I got married on the beautiful island of Kauai in February 2023 and knew we found our perfect person to officiate our wedding with Frieda. Her professionalism, warmth, and kindness put us at ease, and we felt confident she’d help us create a ceremony that was both meaningful and memorable. We received so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful the ceremony was, and how much they enjoyed listening to her speak.

  The wedding was a dream! So easy and Frieda listened to every detail making the wedding perfect.

  Frieda was exactly what we needed to make our wedding simple yet so special. The entire process was so easy. We wanted to enjoy the island and not spend all our time worried about wedding details. A few emails prior with so many options of wording for the wedding were all provided by Freida before we even arrived. She added perfect little details to the ceremony to personalize it to us. She listens so well and has great suggestions when asked and needed. She has a delightful personality and put together an a amazing ceremony. 10/10 for responsiveness and knowledge of the island and Kauais beach wedding guidelines. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect ceremony. Love love love Freida! 💕

Not only did she go above and beyond in answering questions and helping us prepare for the ceremony, she also helped us find amazing vendors, the perfect location, and even gave us tips about where to visit on the island during our stay.   Frieda was fantastic!

  Frieda took care of everything. She helped us customize our vows, helped us find a beautiful beach that wasn’t raining, did a great job as officiant, took some pictures and posed with us in others, and she made our special day that much more special. We highly recommend Frieda Gayle!

From the first day of planning to the day of wedding she took care of entire details with professionalism, expertise, friendliness, and promptness. Her directions for marriage license details and completing on-line state application serval months in advance of date helped us through unknown waters so that on day of arrival we obtained marriage license in 2.5 hours. The next day we married at sunset with Frieda officiating. Liz the photographer did an excellent job beyond what we had hoped could be! In summary: Frieda G. is an outstanding professional officiant and planning director. Billy and Kathy from Santa Maria CA (6 Dec 2022 Marriage date).
