Kat puts her heart and soul into making your wedding floral dreams come true! From our very first meeting, I knew she was the perfect florist for our special day. We had an idea of what we wanted for our wedding florals but Kat truly went above and beyond bringing our vision to life! She is so personable and has extensive knowledge of all flowers, sourcing seasonal flowers from local farms whenever possible and creating exquisite arrangements. We also had some unique requests - like a floral take on a traditional Filipino wedding lasso and a flower collar for our dog - and she took each challenge in stride bringing the most beautiful florals together for our wedding celebration. She also created a STUNNING work of art from my bridal bouquet after the wedding and I love having this special piece of art displayed in our home. Kat, we can't thank you enough for working your magic to make our wedding day extra special! -

Kat really went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding!! Our venue is already filled to the brim with flora and fauna, so we didn't ask for much. But Kat's suggestions prior to the wedding, attention to detail, and day-of execution elevated the look of everything she touched.
Our sweetheart table is the easiest example of this. While planning, Kat suggested repurposing our aisle decor to our sweetheart table as way to cut costs and be eco-friendly. We knew she would move the “garden-style blooms”, but we weren’t expecting such a work of art! We’re obsessed with the way she placed and draped the florals around the table. We didn’t have place cards for ourselves, nor anything else. This table was honestly on our back burner, and we never got around to it. (Such is wedding planning… Or so I’ve learned, haha!) When we sat down to dinner, we noticed a flower on each of our plates. This may seem like a small, insignificant detail, but it was such a lovely and sweet surprise in the midst of everything. There were many small but memorable finishing touches such as these, and we appreciated each one.
With our wedding behind us, Kat’s expertise is even clearer to see. (Our day flowed seamlessly despite decor being moved around!) Kat worked with us on our budget, made tons of helpful suggestions, and was always quick to respond via email. She was accommodating whenever plans changed, and was even willing to help with a potential cake delivery issue. We couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Thanks again, Kat!

We hired Kat as our wedding florist, and she did such an amazing job!
The all white bouquet she created for our SF City Hall engagement photo was so elegant and delicate. For our wedding, we asked for white and blush color theme, and she exceeded our expectation again. Every piece she created is better than I imagined. She is such a nice person to work with too. She even collected our flowers after the wedding and sent them to local care facility, so kind.
I would definitely recommend Kat if you are looking for a local, creative and artistic florist for your wedding! -

I tell all my friends that Kat's Floral Affair was my favorite vendor for my wedding. From the moment I met Kari she was so helpful and seemed to read my mind with my vision! It felt like such a cohesive working relationship, she helped me remember details for the wedding that weren't even always to do with Florals! I felt like.I had a wedding planner in my florist. I cannot rave enough about her exceptional service and creativity for my wedding. My church did not allow dropped flowers from the flower girls and Kari came up with flower wands for the girls to carry down the aisle - needless to say, they loved them! I had to postpone due to covid and she was so flexible and only wanted to make my wedding day special and carefree. When the day came, Kari and her team worked behind the scenes and set everything up beautifully. I had so many compliments on the florals and I was so happy with how everything turned out. She also grows some of her own flowers and sources from local vendors. Hire this vendor. -

Best decision to choose Kat for our wedding flower! Only regret - I didn't have my bouquet in all of my photos
Choosing Kat's Flower Affair for my bridal bouquet, flower centerpieces, and small bridesmaid bouquets was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Kat was so easy to work with and our flowers were so beautiful and even better than I envisioned! I had initially thought to do my own flowers, however after such kind direction from our venue to reach out to Kat, I knew she was the way to go. She was so warm and immediately saw our vision to create bouquets that complemented our venue, but remain simple, because how could any flowers compete with California's Redwoods?!
Our bouquets were so gorgeous and managed to pull our whole vision together. She made a flower clip myself and my mom last minute that looked so beautiful. She had even reached out to me to check the ribbon I wanted for my bouquet to match my husband's tie from a few different ones, although she knew which one was the best all along! And as everyone told me, the days before my wedding were hectic with visitors coming in for the wedding, so it was wonderful to be able to relax and enjoy and know she had my flowers in her hands. My only regret is I was not holding my bouquet in all of my pictures! Choose Kat and you will not regret your decision! -

Best Florist in the Bay!
We could not have asked for a more talented professional or a more genuine human being. Kat designed all of the florals for our wedding in August, and working with her was a dream from start to finish.
After booking Nestldown as our venue, my fiancé and I agreed that any florals we incorporated into our day had to be tactfully designed to complement Nestldown's impressive grounds, rather than compete with them. We spoke with several local florists, but it was evident that none were the right fit. After months of searching, we were truly discouraged and began to wonder if perhaps DIY was the best course of action — that's when we discovered Kat.
It was clear from our first meeting that this was a match made in floral heaven! I had compiled color palettes, arrangements I was drawn to, and my favorite in-season flowers into a single inspiration document, and we were able to review it with Kat in person. Our hope was to keep the florals simple, whimsical, and elegant with a vintage flair. Kat understood our vision even better than we could have imagined! After discussing some design basics, we gave her full creative license, trusting in her skills as a professional. We could hardly wait to see what Kat would dream up for our wedding and, needless to say, we were not disappointed.
There were so many things we appreciated about Kat, but chief among them were that she is...
1. Environmentally Conscious
Kat is very intentional about the materials she uses in her arrangements to ensure everything remains as green as possible. She also worked with us to ensure that our centerpieces were donated and/or reused after our wedding, something that was very important to us.
2. Incredibly Skilled
Kat truly loves her work and takes great pride in what she does. Every piece she created for our wedding was meticulously arranged and absolutely flawless! The love and joy she infuses into her craft is truly amazing.
3. Client-Focused
We felt well taken care of and heard throughout the entire planning-process. Kat was incredibly understanding when it came to executing our vision on a strict budget, and she made sure we knew just how much she cared about our experience as clients.
Kat went above and beyond, and we truly cannot recommend her enough! -
