Incredibly talented musician with option for custom songs!

I can't say enough good things about working with Katie! From the get go, she was super quick to respond and had a lot of great ideas to share. We loved scouring through her song list to design our own perfect playlist for guests as they arrived at our ceremony. Katie also learned two new songs for us to enter and exit to, and they came out beautifully! We are still thrilled that she was able to help us add some extra personal touches to our day. Logistically, she was easy to communicate with, showed up on time, and has a lovely voice. We loved her, our guests loved her....We would absolutely recommend!

December wedding

Katie sang at our recent wedding and was fantastic!! Great to work with and even was willing to switch up a little a week before the event. Many folks commented (and still do) on her performance. I feel I have gained a friend and highly recommend her!

Katie is simply the best. We are so grateful to have been able to have her as part of our day!

My wife and I got married outdoors, and we wanted some light vocals and instrumentals to go along with that organic feeling for our ceremony. We found Katie through a Google search, and we're so happy we did! She completely radiated the feeling of love and support we wanted to convey. She was the absolute perfect fit for us.

Her voice is pure and soothing. Her guitar playing is smooth and seamless. She is a natural talent, but on top of that, she's just a positive energy. Our guests came up to us at the wedding and many days after, talking about how wonderful our ceremony soloist was -- and we have to agree with them! Katie was excellent all around.

The process with Katie is easy. She'll work with you, playing some songs she already knows if you'd like and also willing to learn new ones if you have other ideas. She's quick to respond to questions and answers them thoroughly. Pricing is absolutely fair. Out of all of the other wedding planning we had to do, Katie made this one a cinch!

On a personal level, as a same-sex wedding, Katie was completely genuine and supportive. We felt that she was meant to be a part of our wedding. I will always recommend Katie for any event! She's a true talent, professional and just a gem of a person.

Magically Artsy Voice that wins everyone over

We had Katie sing at our Wedding on July 6. We were incredibly impressed with her voice and professionalism to help prepare and setup our event. She learned 2 news songs for us to walk down the aisle to and play during the ceremony, which were individually meaningful to all of us...We had a very bohemian style outdoor wedding at local Golf Course and her voice lent itself to the folk style we needed at our event. Everyone was so pleased with her vocal abilities that many requested her information for future events they were planning. I would recommend her to everyone!!!

Everything we wanted for our wedding music

Katie's musical talent brought the most beautiful and meaningful music to our wedding. (November 24, 2018) Katie provided our ceremony music and our first dance song. The combination of her voice and acoustic guitar was the perfect accent to personalize our day. She worked with us through the planning process to find the perfect songs for our day, and even learned new music at our request. We couldn't have asked for more perfect, personal music at a great price!!

Katie was absolutely incredible to work with. We were looking for someone to sing at our wedding ceremony and couldn't be more happy that we went with Katie. She was incredibly easy to work with! In the midst of busy wedding planning, I wasn't always the best with getting responses back to her in a timely manner but she was so patient with me, had wonderful follow through and follow up, and always sent such sweet notes of encouragement while I worked through the chaos of the wedding. On our wedding day, she did a great job of working independently and getting set up so that the ceremony and all the music involved went off without a hitch. Thank you so much, Katie, for making our day even more special with your beautiful talent! We had folks coming up to us after the ceremony commenting on how great the music was. It was all perfect!

Katie did not let mother nature stand in the way of her performance at our outdoor wedding. Planned to perform from a window and changed it up to perform closer to the guests when the weather held off. Just AWESOME! Additionally, our dog was part of wedding and Katie even found time to give praise and love to her while we were in the middle of the ceremony, so so sweet.

Would hire Katie again for wedding, or any other event that we need music for in the future.

Katie's voice is amazing! I loved working with her throughout the entire process. She was very responsive a and proactive throughout every bit of the planning. I never laid eyes on her until the day of my daughter's wedding and it never mattered. She didn't miss a beat. I received many compliments from guests about how lovely she sounded and played. I'm not exaggerating when I gave her the 5 star rating. She deserves it! Worth every penny of it. I would personally recommend her to anyone!

Katie is a wonderful singer and musician. She interacts well with the crowd at the West Chester Farmers Market and has a very broad list of songs. I would hire Katie to play for the market again.

From beginning to end, working with Katie was simply a pleasure. Every contact with her was positive, reassuring and filled with kind advice reminding us to enjoy our day and the process leading up to it! Our wedding was not traditional as we wrote our own ceremony, which was officiated by our family members. With Katie's experience and expertise, planning the logistics of the ceremony became much less stressful...she definitely took the burden off of us amateur wedding planners! Beyond the logistics, Katie's talent set the tone for our ceremony. The words and the music chosen for that day were so very important to us. Katie went above and beyond in learning our songs and delivering them beautifully. Her music was such a significant piece of our ceremony and really helped to make the moment special...it was more than we could have hoped for. Thank you Katie!

Katie is amazing!! She is so sweet, personable, helpful and has a beautiful voice. She sang at our wedding reception. We wanted her to sing a new Dave Mathews song for our first dance which she had never sang before. She accepted the challenge of singing the new song and the result was gorgeous! We just love this lady and can't say enough positive things about her!! She made our wedding special and we will never forget it.

Katie was the singer at our wedding, but so much more. She met with us prior to the wedding and it was a blessing to have her experience guide our decisions. This will (hopefully) be the only time I had to decide how I wanted the music at my wedding. However, Katie has done this SO many times she knows what works, what doesn't, and what will make memories that last a lifetime. She worked with the music director/organist/harpist to make sure not just her part was good, but that the music overall was planned perfectly. I had complete confidence when I was walking down the aisle that I didn't have to worry about the music. I can still remember Katie's beautiful voice filling the church during Ave Maria while we stood by a candle to remember the people that couldn't be with us that day. Then she sang an amazing song outside while we released birds on the front steps of the church. Magical. She has continued to be a friend and we have enjoyed a few date nights going to hear her play music in town. And it warms my heart that my two children will often ask for Miss Katie's CDs at bedtime. I stand in the doorway of their rooms and think that this all started with her singing. I would highly recommend Katie.

It was a pleasure to have Katie entertain us at my 80th birthday party at Gorman Farm. She sang beautifully a variety of songs and responded to requests from the guests. When we started dancing she responded by continuing the music we were dancing to. She allowed a guest to join her in a song. She was so comfortable to be with. I loved it!

It was easy to make arrangements with Katie. She responded quickly and ask for our input for the occasion.
I will watch Katie's concert schedule and attend.

I can't say enough good things about Katie. She provided ceremony music for our outdoor, park wedding and was so great to work with to hash out details and prepare. She was flexible and open to my ideas, so relaxed, friendly and professional. She was a joy to work with, even offering wedding advice and the nicest words of support, - much more than just music services provided. My guests raved about her! They loved the song set and her music (guitar and vocals, before the ceremony, during processional, during unity candle and for recessional) - as did I! Katie was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. She met with us several times, in person, to discuss our vision and ideas for music. We were also invited to several events where Katie was playing so we could hear her live. She has a very large repertoire of songs but is also willing to learn anything you throw her way. She learned a few new songs for our wedding, and made the mother/son dance unforgettable!

She gave us great suggestions for the music, most of which were ideas we had not thought of. Her beautiful voice and professional talent eased our minds on our wedding day. We didn't have to worry about equiptment, set-up, tear down or any of it. She willingly worked with our DJ to collaborate on a song for the reception. All night long, guests commented to us how beautifully she sounded.

Katie made our wedding day as special as it was meant to be.

I can't say enough great things about Katie. Her voice was perfect for what we wanted -- such a natural, BEAUTIFUL voice, not the glass-shattering diva/opera sound. And on top of that, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm a musician myself, so I was really picky, and we couldn't be more thrilled in our choice in Katie.

Katie played guitar and sang all of the songs for our wedding ceremony. She is absolutely amazing!!!! She pours her heart and soul into each and every note and it shows. Having her sing at our wedding was perfect. She adds a personal touch to your wedding that you never thought you'd be able to get from ceremony music. I would highly recommend Katie to play at any wedding ceremony. We had a wide variety of music for her to sing and play guitar too and she played everything without missing a note. Katie was amazing! She learned the first song that my husband ever played for me and one other that was special to my family. She played for our 20th anniversary vow renewal and it wouldn't have been the same without her. All of our guests commented about her vocal ability. It was so intimate and special. Katie was seriously one of the highlights of our wedding. We met with her several months before our wedding since we wanted her to learn three new songs for our ceremony. Even with only a few weeks notice she performed the songs with such grace and talent that my husband and I knew we had to have her play at our wedding. Katie is a joy to work with and her talent is beyond words. We still have guests telling us how much they enjoyed her music. She played pre-ceremony music, our ceremony music, and for our cocktail hour and truly helped set the tone for our wedding. Cannot recommend Katie enough!

Katie was very professional and my wife and I definitely recommend her to anyone needing someone to sing and/or play the guitar. She was very responsive and flexible in picking songs for our ceremony, plus easy to work with on our wedding day even though it was hot and rained part of the time. Our guests enjoyed her singing and she added a very nice touch to our great day.

Katie has one of the most beautiful voices I have heard in a long time. I used her for my ceremony music as well as for a cocktail hour at the start of our reception and she was a dream to work with. Couldn’t have picked anyone better!

We had our wedding last Saturday 4/20/19. Katie was fabulous and very easy to plan/coordinate with! She is very sweet and has an amazing voice! Everyone complimented how beautifully she sang at our ceremony! It was an honor to meet her and have her sing and play the guitar on our wedding day!

Katie was a wonderful part of our wedding. She was very kind and open to the style of wedding that we had. Though her repertoire consists mostly of more contemporary music rather than classical pieces, she was able to perform in a way that fit perfectly with the atmosphere. Also, she was very talented as a musician and a singer, and she was very kind. She understood everything that we had to deal with as the bride and groom and was able to handle almost everything herself with minimal responsibility for us. I highly recommend Katie!
