Wedding Photographer at the Wainwright House

Our experience with Kathi Littwin Photography (and Sue) was extraordinary; if we could give 10 stars we would. We interviewed a few photographers and within minutes knew Kathi was the photographer for us. She was professional, kind, thoughtful, well-organized, supportive, reliable, responsive, her prices were fair and she was willing to work with our budget.....and she was fun from the first moment to the last. The day of our wedding she and Sue showed up with great energy, calm and warmth, an artistic flair and professionalism that put all of us at ease. When we mentioned to other vendors we were using Kathi they always responded by saying that she is top notch and her photos are fantastic. They were graceful, quick and there but not noticeable at all. We received almost 1000 photos, but never saw them. The photos are fantastic and exactly what we requested. Our family is still talking about them and how fun and helpful they were. We are so appreciative for the beautiful images they captured, as well as for the wonderful energy and experience they created for us, our families and our guests. Kathi and Sue really helped create what will be some of our fondest and most meaningful lifelong memories. Thanks so much! Sabrina & Michael

Beautiful Photographer - Highly Recommend!

Kathi was wonderful to work with and so incredibly talented. She photographed our welcome party and wedding day, and the photos were so beautiful -- beyond what I had even hoped! I cannot recommend her enough. She is a great communicator, really listens to what you want in the photos, and has a beautiful eye.

Couldn’t be more pleased!

We used Kathi Littwin Photography for my daughter’s wedding. Kathi and Kim were great, they got candid, serious and fun shots. They were inventive with our poses and made us feel comfortable. Our guests commented that they were available every time they wanted a picture but were unobtrusive. The pictures are just gorgeous! I highly recommend them.

Heavenly! Seriously, you will not find a better photographer!

Kathi was such a pleasure to work with and her photos came out phenomenal! She and her associate truly captured the spirit of joy love and happiness that was present on our wedding day and I could not have asked for more. What was also nice is that during the day we barely noticed that they were there but secretly they were capturing every moment. Truly Kathi and her associate receive the highest recommendation from my husband and I and the product she delivered superceeds what we paid for her work. Thank you so much Kathi! :)

Excellent Photographer

We recently hired Kathi to shoot our New York wedding and could not have been happier with the results. We had eloped to New York and were able to book Kathi for a few hours to shoot our ceremony followed by a whirlwind tour around the city for some really special photos. Not only did we end up with some stunning photos to remember our big day but we had a lot of fun too.

On the day it was very bright and quite challenging for photos but Kathi was excellent at working with the light and was able to get great photos. We had some ideas of what we wanted and Kathi was always more that willing to accommodate us as well as throwing in some suggestions we had never thought of.

We only had to wait a couple of weeks before we got our photos back, it was an amazingly quick turnaround. Kathi has been more that helpful and was even able to provide black and white versions of the photos when requested. We love our photos! We couldn’t be happier with Kathi and are so glad we chose her as our photographer.

Wonderful to work with!

Kathi was a dream to work with and took such beautiful pictures of our 10/2017 wedding. She and her assistant caught so many great candid moments and took portraits that felt natural and captured our personalities so well. Finished pictures came fast, and our album is gorgeous! We'd recommend her to any of our friends!

Excellent photographer!

I am thrilled we found Kathi Littwin! We did an engagement shoot in Central Park and Kathi and another photographer did our wedding in CT. I assessed many potential photographers, looking for someone with beautiful and natural photography style and appropriate value. I found a lot of NYC photographers to be mega-wedding production companies, and that's not what we wanted. Kathi was personable, flexible to meet our needs and very responsive - hands down one of the best vendors we worked with. Most importantly, Kathi was great at making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, suggesting shots along the way, and produced amazing photos - we're so happy with her beautiful and natural style that genuinely captured our joy throughout the day! Our family and friends love the photography, and we're thrilled with how everything turned out. Highly recommend Kathi Littwin!

Catching the moment

Kathi was recommended to us by a family member. From the beginning of the process of looking for a photographer the ease of communication with Kathi made us feel calm. She immediately shared pictures with us from her portfolio and we loved her style. The rest of the process of communication was fantastic. During the wedding, Kathi appeared to have but one focus...catch the moment. She was the first one waiting to capture to moment we got out of the car upon arriving at church, the moment we kissed, and all the unseen, but experienced movements along the way. Her knowledge about posing and creating fun, sweet, and beautiful pictures makes her a wonderful addition to your wedding team. I could not be more happy with her professionalism and most importantly the beauty and quality of the pictures. Highly recommend!

Kathi is simply the BEST! If you want exquisite photographs that capture the love and beauty of your wedding, hire her immediately! Kathi is very professional to work with, and from our first meeting at her studio, I could tell she really captures something special with her pictures. She had also shot my friend's wedding, and I was struck by how her pictures depicted the magic of the day and covered every element of the event! I knew I could be totally confident in her for our big day.

Kathi was flexible with our schedules for our "Engagement Shoot" and met us very early on a Saturday morning in Central Park. I was nervous as I've never had professional photos taken before, but she really put us at ease and made it feel completely natural. She spent a lot of time with us, making sure the lighting and our positioning was ideal, and we have incredible photos from that day (which she turned around to us in less than 2 weeks).

For the wedding, it was really a pleasure to work with her and her second shooter, Harrison. As the venue was a mansion house, they found tons of places to take pictures, inside and outside, for unique and beautiful shots. Not only did they capture us, our families and bridal party, but also all of our guests in both posed and totally candid and wonderful shots! I honestly don't know how they covered SO much of the wedding!!! I think what really sets Kathi apart is her candids - the special moments from the day. She looks for lots of different angles / set ups / interesting ways to showcase the people at the event and all the special details and decor.

I really can't recommend Kathi more highly! I'm so glad I got to work with her for my wedding!

We are overjoyed with our pictures that Kathi took of our wedding. She captured every special moment, harnessing all of our excitement and emotion in each shot, along with all the beautiful details of the event. I cannot recommend Kathi highly enough! She is so talented and was great to work with leading up to the wedding - giving us a timeline for photos and ensuring she had a list of all the important people we wanted pictures with. And having her photograph us on our wedding day was even better. She and Miana (who was also wonderful!) made us feel so comfortable and were sure to get special shots (even pulling us aside during the reception in an unobtrusive way to get a shot by the water with perfect evening light!). Many of our guests commented on how great our photographer was, saying "she was everywhere!" Her photography is beautiful and she is wonderful to work with - I would highly recommend her!

I worked with Kathi and her assistant Harrison for my wedding at Wainwright House in summer 2016. Kathi was amazing to work with, she was incredibly responsive, flexible and creative, with lots of great ideas for both candid and formal photos. Photography during the event was very seamless and Kathi was great with capturing everyone at the event from young children to grandparents. We just received our proofs back from the wedding and they are absolutely gorgeous. I know they will be a treasured memory for our family for years to come.

Photos were my top priority for our wedding, and Kathi far surpassed all of my expectations! I was very excited to work with her based on her portfolio and blog posts, and am confident no one could have done as beautiful a job as she did. As someone that tends to get a bit anxious being the center of attention, I owe Kathi for helping to calm me down and ensure my pictures were perfect. On numerous occasions she would tell me to close my eyes, take a deep breathe in-and-out and then open my eyes, and she would continue shooting. She knew exactly what to do to get the best shot, and was incredible at finding great locations despite rain on our wedding day. I was very concerned that we would miss something by not having outdoor photos, but I was completely wrong. I would highly recommend Kathi to any couple looking for a wedding photographer, you will not be disappointed!

Kathi has a creative and natural eye for capturing intimate moments between couples. She made us feel comfortable during both our engagement shoot and wedding portraits so that the pictures truly captured our personalities and feelings. We were anticipating awkward and corny poses but Kathi is not about that- she told us her favorite pictures were the candid moments between us so out photo shoot was more like a conversation than silent posing and the pictures were gorgeous! She was very good at communicating and was helpful and accommodating throughout the year we worked together. Kathi was a joy to be around and we are very lucky to have had her as our wedding photographer!

Me and my fiancé are brazilians and Kathi took pictures of us in The Central Park during Easter! Even with the park crowded Kathi was able to give us amazing pictures where one can questioning if the park was thee only for us.
I will never forget this special moment. Kathi has a unique eye, knowing us for just a couple hours she was able to capture and express in the pictures the tenderness of our relationship.

Kathi Littwin is TERRIFIC, a consummate professional and lovely woman who has both the education and experience to capture the narrative of your event. My husband, David, and I first hired Kathi to photograph our destination wedding in Venice, Italy and were thrilled with her work. She later photographed our legal wedding here in Brooklyn (... wish our wedding planner was even half as capable and diligent!) I have since worked with Kathi to photograph several industry events that I have organized and am happy to partner again in the future. I was lucky enough to find pieces of Kathi's work while looking for venues for our Wedding in 2005. It was love at first sight. I was captivated by the artistry, creativity, and vision her work exuded. Once I met her, I was equally captivated by her warmth, humor and professionalism. I'm now lucky enough to call her my friend.

It's hard for me to check the box "Would you Recommend to a Friend" because although I've had that opportunity, I haven't done it. The reason? Because having Kathi photograph our Wedding was the greatest gift we gave ourselves that day, and to be honest, I don't want to "share" that. Wrong? Perhaps. But regardless, I'm eternally grateful to Kathi for recording one of my greatest decisions and best days.

I can't say enough nice things about Kathi. Her work is exceptional. Along with the quality of her work she was so easy to work with on our wedding day. She was completely unobtrusive but the photos show she was present and attentive. I can't recommend her enough.

Kathi is wonderful and the "product" she created for us is terrific!! She listened to us, added her professional opinions, and moved forward on the day of the event to work discreetly in and around all our guests, getting candid shots as well as posed. She had earlier taken some family information from me and she did a remarkable job of putting groups of family members together for "extended family" shots, remembering who belonged with whom and all their names. She's a real artist and our wedding album reflects that. She worked with us over the phone and with email to help us select exactly what we wanted in the album. She was always patient, kind, and with a sense of humor. I would recommend her to any one!!

I cannot recommend Kathi enough! We interviewed several photographers and it seemed that Kathi just got it more than others. She is not just a wedding photographer but is a true artist.

She really stresses being incognito and capturing the more intimate/natural moments, which is exactly what we were looking for. She was more pricey than other photographers, but most of that was the inclusion of a second photographer, which proved to be worth the extra money to capture more aspects of the wedding. My bride and I did not want to see each other before the ceremony and Kathi was completely flexible in accommodating that. The day was perfect and Kathi helped in that regard and we now have priceless photos because of her.

Kathi was so easy to work with. Her photos are stunning and she managed to capture all moods of the day: spiritual, magical, wild and fun, sentimental, serious, and crazy. She has a keen eye and so much talent. We got married in 2001 and her photos still hold their magic today and we refer her to friends all the time.

Loved working with kathi littwin

She photographed our 30th anniversary vow renewal and could not have been more creative, competent, and courteous. Kathi is a total professional who came out on the coldest night of the year to capture a very special evening. She later put together several terrific albums documenting the event. Kathi and her team are very flexible. I met almost 20 photographers and I loved how kathi captured the real people and event, not super posed and artificial shots. She is like a witness to the event and captures emotion.
