The Detail
Katherine is truly amazing at what she does. She notices and captures the little moments, and somehow turns them into the most beautiful memories. Everything feels genuine and effortless and never forced or staged. She always has a smile on her face, shows up on time, and fits right in with your friends and family, making everyone feel comfortable. We are so grateful for her talent and couldn’t recommend her more! -

Kat is one of a kind!
Kathrine is a fantastic wedding photographer. She truly captured the enchanted love of me and my husband’s relationship and created authentic, old money style, glowing photos. We worked together to create a timeline that fit in getting ready, the ceremony, family shots, a couple shoot, and the first dances all in three hours. It was everything that I wanted and it is obvious Kathrine is an experienced photographer. Rest assured you will find a kind, professional photographer in Kathrine and will end up falling in love with the photos she takes. -

Kat was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful, easy to reach, and brought such great energy to our day. She made both me and my husband feel completely at ease, which was huge since we had never done professional photos before. She’s incredible at posing you in a way that feels natural and comfortable, and she made the entire experience so fun!
We even had guests come up to us mentioning that they loved her energy and professionalism. We had already done our engagement shoot with her and were obsessed with her style and artistic eye, so we couldn’t wait to see the wedding photos. Now that we’ve received them, we’re beyond thrilled! They are absolutely stunning!
Kat has such a unique creative vision, and I love that she always captures the little moments. All around, she’s the best! We would definitely recommend her and have already referred her to several of our friends who are getting married! -

Words almost can’t describe how phenomenal Katherine is. She is kind, considerate, and an amazing photographer. Her photos captured the magic of our wedding day. As soon as she showed us some sneak peaks during our photo sessions I started tearing up with joy. Kat provides just enough prompting to capture romance that is fairytale worthy. Kat was amazing to work with and made our engagement photoshoot in tahoe a dream come true. She was extremely accommodating, making sure we got to shoot at two special locations and she made us feel so relaxed and comfortable during the shoot! She was so easy to get a hold of, easy to communicate with and even gave tons of recommendations for the rest of our weekend in the area - which ended up being so helpful and made the trip perfect! She has a unique eye for composure and taking creative shots, which is what I really appreciated. She is somehow able to capture the most magical moments in the details in her photos. Looking back I was so impressed at the level of craft and care she took in composing each shot- it really felt like she knew us and captured our essence. If I were to some up how I felt looking back at the photos I would say: magical, intimate, timeless, authentic, cinematic, vogue,velvety and intricate. -

Kat turned out to be just who we were looking for when it came to our search for a wedding photographer. We loved meeting with her the first time and knew her positive fun personality was a great fit for us (we can be a bit camera-shy and wanted someone who would make us feel comfortable). We also thought she offered a very reasonably priced package (including engagement photos) which was honestly hard to find elsewhere in the wedding world. We had the best time meeting and working with her during our engagement shoot and knew she would be perfect for wedding day, which she was! She was flexible, organized, positive, and efficient, the latter being very important in order to get through photos and spend more time with guests. When she delivered our gallery, we were blown away at the colors, lighting, and content - she truly captured our day in exquisite detail and seemed to highlight our favorite parts without us even directing her! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic person and talented photographer. -

Kat was fantastic during our wedding in Lake Tahoe, September 21 2024. Kat was kind, attentive and she knew exactly what to do, which places, which shots we wanted. PLUS, Kat integrated so well with our family, everyone loved her, and the pictures turned out just FANTASTIC! Incredible! We would recommend Kat for her work 10000x times over! I cannot recommend Kat enough. She was the only photographer who worked with me when I inquired for a last minute session during a spontaneous trip to Lake Tahoe. She squeezed us in, and on the afternoon of our session made us feel so comfortable. She kept in mind the inspiration photos I had sent and had great cues. The resulting photos were incredible. She had great communication from inquiry to gallery delivery. Book Kat, you won’t regret it!! -

Wonderful communication. Open to my “must have” shots wishlist and made sure we got them. Planned an elopement in 2weeks and LUCKILY she was available. I didn’t have any backups! I knew the results I wanted and knew she was the gal to make it happen. I wasn’t feeling 100% confident about myself being 5months pregnant and I shared that with Katherine. She knew exactly how to pose us and different shots to disguise the bump. And then the horrific sunburn I got the day prior- couldn’t tell in the final edits! She’s a miracle worker. She made Nick and I both feel comfortable posing and being the center of attention when both of us were just ready to say I do and move on with our new lives. I’m so glad I have these photos to share and hope to book with her again as she was open to my kind of crazy idea of a senior dog photoshoot too. -

Best photographer!
Kat was my photographer for my wedding and she did an absolutely amazing job. First off she is genuine and sweet. She worked so hard, running everywhere to get all the shots. She was also very clear in everything she was doing. I asked her for specific shots during the wedding and she made sure she got every single one on my day. She even traveled to another location for me to get some last minute extra shots. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients. Also her turn around to receive photos is quick! I highly recommend her. -

The Whole Package
My husband and I decided to elope in South Lake Tahoe. Coming from another state it was very intimidating / difficult to find a photographer that felt genuine and could provide the things we needed. Kat & Drew surpassed expectations. We got to have our dream private elopement and couldn’t have picked better people to be a part of it. We are so obsessed with our photos and for the new wonderful friends we made! -
